Evaluation of Pump Capacity in Pancasila Pumping Station, Madiun City, East Java
Madiun River catchment area is widely known for flooding in the rainy season. There is an embankment built to prevent the flood from entering the city. With the existence of the embankment, pumps are required to discharge the rainwater from the urban drainage channel into the river. The pumps located in the pumping stations are spread across the Madiun City. Each pumping station has a different capacity and different catchment areas. Nevertheless, its capacity is not sufficient to discharge the water flowing from the drainage channel into the river without causing flood in the city. Hence, the evaluation of pump capacity is necessary. In this study, a case study of Pancasila Pumping Station as a pumping station with the biggest catchment area is taken. From the rainfall data, flood discharge in the inlet of the pumping station is calculated using a synthetic unit hydrograph of the Nakayasu method. The capacity of the pump will be evaluated using the resulted flood discharge, whether the capacity is sufficient or not. Furthermore, the necessary pump quantity, the pump capacity, the operational hours, and the volume storage needed will be calculated. The results are: maximum flood discharge with a return period of 10 years is 20.206 m³/s, the existing pump capacity is only 1,000 litre per second while the required pump capacity is 5 m³/s with the quantity of two units, both operated in the same time for 8 hours and one unit is operated for the ninth hour, equipped with a storage volume of 102,017 m³. Thus, the addition of pump capacity is necessary

In factor 2 of the top-level competence on the development of individuals, there are critical and creative thinkin
Water Absorption Process Parametric Selection For Natural Composites Using The PROMETHEE Method And Analytical Hierarchy Process For Objective Weights For Ship’s Hull Application
The purpose of this study is to establish the importance of parameters in a water absorption process for natural particulate composite for ship’s hull applications. To attain useful and reliable outcomes, the subjective evaluation of the assessor and weights of inputs are combined in a PROMETHEE and analytical hierarchy process (AHP) approach. The PROMETHEE serves the goal of ranking while the AHP is deployed to establish the objective weighing. It was found that time is the heading parameter for the natural particulate thermoset composite solutions, compared with thickness and length. By integrating PROMETHEE and AHP, it was proved that this approach offers a higher level of confidence to composite developers than initiative practices that currently dominate choices of parameters. It is particularly useful for natural particulate water absorption parametric selection since it is an innovative and scientific choice approach involving multicriteria analysis
Components Acquaintance of Fuel Oil System Using Virtual Reality Application
Indonesia is known as the biggest archipelagic nation on the planet and is between two significant seas. In a roundabout way, Indonesia has tremendous regional water when contrasted and the land territory itself. With this, obviously, it tends to be said that Indonesia has colossal potential in the oceanic area, particularly since the Indonesian sea domain has consistently been a worldwide transportation path. This potential should be used ideally by this country, considering the mechanical advancement in Indonesia itself can be supposed to be very quick. Innovation that is utilized carefully and applied to the sea world can give Indonesia benefits for a few areas, for example, the economy, industry, and even schooling. Innovation that can be used in the oceanic world, particularly in the field of transportation is PC illustrations innovation, which in its application can be utilized during the time spent to plan, fix and support, reproductions and preparing for training and others with the 3D display. Virtual Reality (VR) is a counterfeit world or can be said as a computerized world where everything in there is the consequence of representation made utilizing 3D innovation from the PC. Virtual Reality permits us to cooperate and encounter encounters that are practically like this present reality. The reason for this exploration or the last task is to use innovation that is growing quickly well in the learning cycle in the oceanic world. With Virtual Reality, it is conceivable to make new learning strategies for training, particularly in the presentation of segments of the fuel oil framework on the ship. Because of a few restrictions confronted when mentioning direct objective facts to the ship, including authorization or admittance to enter the ship, time is restricted. Along these lines, it is normal that utilizing Virtual Reality can help the learning cycle for training by making an application that can be utilized in perceiving and understanding the segments of the fuel oil framework on a ship
