Risk Based Inspection using API RP 580 and DNV RP F116 Towards Free Spanning Pipelines
The free span that occurs in the subsea pipeline can cause fatigue due to vortex induced vibration and local buckling. From the risk of failure that may occur, a risk-based inspection scheduling required. The 14" Underwater pipe belongs to PT. The X located in the Madura Strait is used to transmit gas from the CPP to ORF with a length of 65 km which has 554 free spans. In scheduling inspections, the commonly used codes are API RP 580 and DNV RP F116. This journal will discuss the difference between these two codes. Reliability calculations use Monte Carlo simulation with VIV failure mode and local buckling failure mode. The consequences of failure are reviewed on safety, environmental and asset aspects. API RP 580, shows the environmental aspect and the safety aspect of both modes of failure has the next inspection in 6 years, while the asset aspect is 3 years. At DNV RP F116, scheduling inspection of safety aspect on both modes is 3 years and environmental aspects is a year later, while the asset aspect would be better to change the pip
Experimental Study and Numerical Analysis of Crane Operability in Floating Crane Catamaran
Crane vessel is a floating structure equipped with accommodation facilities and one or more cranes to do work in the field. Crane vessel continue to be developed so that they can lift large structures and operate safely in certain environmental conditions. The work that is usually done by crane vessel is to lift heavy or light loads from land to ship, from ship to land, from ship to sea, from sea to ship, and from ship to ship. The process of moving loads carried out by a crane vessel usually called the lifting process. In carrying out its work, a crane vessel is limited by certain criteria for safety reasons. One of them is the criterion that limits the heave motion at the end of the crane boom and roll and pitch motion of the crane vessel. In this final project, an experimental study and numerical analysis of crane operability were carried out on catamaran hulled crane vessel. Experiments were carried out at the Balai Teknologi Hidrodinamika BPPT and numerical analysis using the MOSES software. According to the criteria used, namely Operational Limitations of Offshore Crane Vessels, cranes on floating crane catamaran have the highest operability when the vessel heading is 0o to the direction of the incoming waves, which is up to Hs 1.45 m
The Effect Analysis of Coating Thickness Variation and Mixture Composition of Magnesium – Flake Glass on Epoxy Coating on Abrasive Resistance, Adhesion Strength, and Prediction of Corrosion Rate of ASTM A36 Steel Plate
Steel cannot be separated from the marine manufacturing industry. It is important to control the corrosion rate of steel used for offshore structures. The coating method can be used in mobilization areas and splash zones that have high corrosion rates due to sustained friction loads in the marine environment. The purpose of this study was to analyze the different in adhesion strength, abrasion resistance, and corrosion rate prediction of ASTM A36 low carbon steel plate with coating thickness variations of 300µm, 500µm, and 700µm and Magnesium Carbonate - Flake Glass mixture variations of 10%, 20%, and 30%. In the pull-off test, the highest value of adhesion strength was obtained from specimen with 300µm coating thickness and 10% Magnesium Carbonate - Flake Glass mixture with a value of 5.67 Mpa. The highest abrasion test value was obtained from specimen with 700µm coating thickness and 30% Magnesium Carbonate - Flake Glass mixture with a value of 0.91 Wear Cyces per Micrometer. Whereas in the three cells electrode test, the highest value was found at specimen with 700µm coating thickness and 30% Magnesium Carbonate - Flake Glass mixture with a value of 0,00010 mmpy

Selection Of Shipping Services Using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method
Online business has come along way since these early days, where people can purchase items from the comfort of their own homes and work place. This causes people to choose to shop online rather than go to offline store, thus, the freqeuncy of delivery services keep getting higher day by day. In determining the right shipping service, every people has a different needs. This study aims to identify factors that affect customers in choosing shipping services. The variable includes three dimension which are alternative, criteria, and sub-criteria. The number of respondents for this study is 72. Four major shipping service companies in Indonesia were selected to be the alternative includes JNE, J&T, SiCepat and Pos Indonesia. The analysis shows that there are 5 criteria and 2 sub criteria for each criteria, that can be used to measure user preference of choosing shipping services. In this study it was found that the value of consistency ratio in each matrix paired is 0,1 so that the AHP method inthis study has optimal results. From the analysis, each criterion was weighted to rank the customers preference of choosing a shipping services relatively of each other. The best delivery service selected is J&T with The criteria sorted from most important to least important are security, quality of service, price, area coverage and distance
Evaluation of Hyper-Heuristic Method Using Simple Random-Step Counting Hill Climbing in the Examination Timetabling Problem
Exam Timetabling Problem (ETP) is a problem that occurs at the university. Solution to the ETP problem involves computational search methods to get results. In the process, if done manually it will require lot of time to achieve the optimal solution. ETP is basically allocating a schedule into room at particular time. Several previous researchers developed a hyper-heuristic method to obtain solutions that are expected to provide result that are close to optimal. In this study, ITC 2007 dataset will be used to find generic solutions that are near optimal. Simple Random (SR) was chosen as strategy to choose Low Level Heuristic (LLH) and Step Counting Hill Climbing (SCHC) was chosen as move-acceptance strategy for ETP. The results obtained show that one pair of algorithms proposed in this study is better than the literature while other algorithms also provide significant results

Measurement of Sigma Level from Consumer Sound Side in Fried Oil Product
The industry of goods and services is inseparable and is highly related to customers, so customer satisfaction is always the main goal. A company will be able to continue to survive in the market as long as it can maintain good quality in order to satisfy customers. To find out which cooking oil products on the market are in accordance with the wishes of the customer or the voice of customer, a customer satisfaction survey or questionnaire was conducted which was distributed to mothers in Griya Asri housing complex, Purwosari - Pasuruan, by comparing 3 brands of cooking oil which were all made from oil palm, namely: brands A, B and C. From the questionnaire will be known what is needed or desired by the customer so the company can determine CTQ (critical to quality) based on the voice of customer. The questionnaire that has been distributed is then calculated sigma level and also made a comparison between the level of importance with the level of customer satisfaction. The results show that the lowest level of sigma for brand A cooking oil in CTQ is not turbid fast and cheap price is 1.86, with the position in quadrant A (Attention) while for B brand low level sigma cooking oil is in CTQ for low price, namely 1.83 with a position in quadrant A (Attention) and finally the lowest level of sigma for C brand cooking oil is in CTQ Not quickly cloudy, that is 1.97 with a position in quadrant A (Attention). So it can be concluded that the CTQ that needs to be improved and considered both from the sigma level and the quadrant position for the three types of cooking oil products is not turbid fast and cheap prices
