    Fault Estimation on Induction Motor Based on Stator Inter-Turn Fault

    Since the 19th century, the use of electric motors continues to grow. Nowadays electric motors have been widely used in various fields of industry. One type of electric motor that is often used is an induction motor. Induction motors work in the presence of induced currents due to the relative difference in rotor rotation with rotating magnetic fields. Induction motors are preferred for industrial purposes because of low cost, easy to maintain, and high efficiency. Induction motors that are used continuously can experience several types of fault. The existence of fault can affect the performance of the induction motor. One of the fault that often occurs in induction motor is the result of stator inter-turn fault. This fault is caused by the gradual deterioration of insulation in the stator winding which cause a short-circuit. Sooner or later, this fault can cause damage to the induction motor in a short time if left unchecked. So, it is very important to monitor the fault in real-time. Therefore, this research proposes a fault estimation method on induction motor. The design of fault estimation based on particle filtering and extended state space equations is used to estimate the stator inter-turn fault. The effectiveness of this approach is validated by use of a computer simulation with using two fault signal represented by η_cc ramp and step signal. The performances of this fault estimation are measured by RMSE and with using 500 particles has smallest RMSE value, which are 0.0112 and 0.0124 for dq current fault when using η_cc ramp signal and 0.2373 and 0.2367 for dq current fault when using η_cc step signal

    Effect of Fear in Leslie-Gower Predator-Prey Model with Beddington-DeAngelis Functional Response Incorporating Prey Refuge

    In the present paper, we study the effect of antipredator behavior due to fear of predation on a modified Leslie-Gower predator-prey model incorporating prey refuge which predation rate of predators follows Beddington-DeAngelis functional response. The biological justification of the model is demonstrated through non-negativity, boundedness, and permanence. Next, we perform the analysis of equilibrium and local stability. We obtain four equilibrium points where two points are locally asymptotically stable and other points are unstable. Besides, we show the effect of the fear in the model and obtain a conclusion that the increased rate of fear can decrease the density of both populations, and prey populations become extinct. Meanwhile, for the case with a constant rate of fear, the prey refuge helpful to the existence of both populations. However, for the case with the fear effect is large, prey refuge cannot cause the extinction of predators. Several numerical simulations are performed to support our analytical results

    Abstrak—Pada masa pandemi ini, Satgas Covid-19 Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) bekerja sama dengan berbagai pihak terus berupaya memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat dalam rangka sosialisasi dan edukasi terkait penanganan pandemi. Salah satu luaran media yang digunakan oleh Satgas Covid-19 ITS bekerja sama dengan civitas akademika ITS untuk menyasar keluarga dan anak-anak adalah adalah buku cerita anak bergambar. Media tersebut dianggap memiliki kelebihan yang mencakup beberapa kriteria komunikasi, sehingga informasi di dalamnya dapat tersampaikan dengan baik melalui pesan berupa narasi dan visual. Diharapkan dengan buku kompilasi cerita anak tersebut, pesan edukasi dapat diserap melalui media yang lebih  menarik, interaktif, dan mudah di akses oleh semua lapisan masyarakat.Abstract—During the Covid-19 pandemic. One of the external media used by the ITS Covid-19 task force in collaboration with the ITS academic community to target families and children is illustrated children's storybooks. The media is considered to have advantages that include several communication criteria so that the information in it can be conveyed properly through messages in the form of narration and visuals. It is hoped that with the compilation of children's stories, educational messages can be absorbed through media that are more interesting, interactive, and easily accessible to all levels of society

    Peningkatan mutu dan fungsi perumahan dan permukiman perlu dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menjaga pertumbuhan dan perkembangan perumahan kumuh dan permukiman kumuh sebagaimana diamanatkan dalam Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 14 Tahun 2016 tentang Penyelenggaraan Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman. Menyikapi hal ini, Suku Dinas Perumahan Rakyat dan Kawasan Permukiman Kota Administrasi Jakarta Barat berencana mengubah suatu kawasan di RW 06 Kelurahan Jatipulo, Jakarta Barat menjadikan layak huni. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan data kondisi eksisting lingkungan, potensi lingkungan, permasalahan lingkungan dan penataan lingkungan untuk menanggulangi dan mengurangi tingkat kekumuhan serta mewujudkan suatu kawasan yang tertata sesuai dengan peruntukan lahan di lingkungan perumahan dan permukiman dilihat dari aspek fisik lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini metode survei dan wawancara melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dengan mengumpulkan data berupa data primer dan data sekunder. Dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa kondisi eksisiting ditemukan pencemaran lingkungan, jaringan jalan lingkungan yang rusak, drainase yang kurang memadai, tidak ada proteksi kebakaran, pengolaan sampah yang kurang memadai, serta tidak ada penerangan jalan umum (PJU) dan ruang terbuka hijau/RTH.     Business Process Management (BPM) is a collection of methods, techniques, and tools to optimize organizational performance. In the case of higher education institutions (HEIs), BPM is usually implemented to provide a standard business process. Implementation of Data Governance (DG) is often based on the desire for good Data Quality (DQ), to help an organization carry out its strategies and achieve its objectives. Previous research has proven that DG would improve data quality and safety and trigger a better standard. While data and information are essentially connected, BPM and DG have been addressed separately in the process of obtaining high quality data and information. This study conducts a literature review to investigate the relationship of BPM in the development of DG in HEIs. Articles related to BPM, DG, and DQ are collected from relevant databases. The articles are filtered and perused further to obtain 23 articles that are analyzed and synthesized to answer the research question. Based on these articles, a conceptual model is developed, depicting relationship in the application of BPM and DG. The first relationship identified from previous work is that the successful implementation of BPM influences DG planning and implementation success. Second, a good BPM implementation influences the process of obtaining a good DQ. Finally, implementing a good DG influences the acquirement of a good DQ. This study also found that BPM, DG, and DQ implementation at HEIs was fewer than that at other sectors or case studies, which open up opportunities for further studies

    Strategi Pengendalian Alih Fungsi Lahan Sawah di Provinsi Jawa Timur

    Dinamika pembangunan dan pertumbuhan penduduk yang sangat cepat berdampak pada berkurangnya keberadaan sawah di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Adanya alih fungsi lahan sawah akan menurunkan produksi bahan pangan yang dapat mengancam terwujudnya ketahanan pangan. Perlu adanya upaya pengendalian guna mencegah perubahan fungsi lahan pertanian ke non pertanian dan mencapai target ketahanan pangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merumuskan strategi pengendalian alih fungsi lahan sawah di Provinsi Jawa Timur dengan mengkaji kondisi alih fungsi lahan 2019, serta faktor pendorong terjadinya perubahan fungsi lahan. Metode pengambilan data dilakukan dengan survei instansional, studi literatur, dan diklarifikasi melalui Forum Group Discussion dengan perwakilan Pokja KP2B dan Dinas Pertanian seluruh Kabupaten dan Kota di Jawa Timur. Data yang didapat kemudian diolah dengan analisis spasial (overlay) menggunakan Software ArcGIS, analisis faktor (CFA) menggunakan SPSS, dan analisis deskriptif untuk merumuskan strategi. Dari hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa luasan lahan sawah di Jawa Timur pada 2019 telah mengalami konversi/alih fungsi seluas 9817.54 Ha dari Peta Baku Sawah yang ditetapkan melalui SK Menteri ATR/BPN-RI No.399/Kep-23.3/X/2018 tanggal 8 Oktober 2018. Konversi lahan sawah terbesar diakibatkan oleh banyaknya lahan sawah yang masuk kawasan hutan produksi, pengembangan lahan permukiman dan kawasan industri. Konversi tersebut disebabkan oleh beberapa variabel yaitu biaya input, biaya irigasi, biaya produksi, aksesibilitas wilayah, harga sewa, nilai produksi, harga jual dan harga lahan, jumlah petani, jumlah penduduk dan pertumbuhan ekonomi.     Pengaruh Model Analisa Elemen Hingga dan Sifat Material Terhadap Perilaku Struktural Tabung Baja Persegi Diisi Beton

    The composite material steel tubes filled with concrete (concrete filled steel tubes, CFST) are becoming widely recommended in modern structural projects. This material is made of steel tubes filled with concrete. This CFST structure has better ductility than the conventional structure. Three-dimensional finite element analysis of CFST beam is performed by using both the nonlinear material properties of steel and concrete and by nonlinear geometry properties of beam. The contact analysis between tip loading and the beam is also considered. The results of the finite element analysis are then compared with experimental results of square steel tubes filled with concrete. The load-deflection and the collapse of the analysis results show similar to the experimental results. However, buckling phenomena cannot be modelled in the finite element analysis. The effect of half and a quarter beam model are studied and the results of the analysis similar to the results of full-scale analysis. The comparison between linear material properties and non-linear material properties are also studied. The linear material analysis result shows a linear response of load-displacement relationship and no collapse mode occurred in the mid span. Abstrak Material komposit tabung baja diisi dengan beton (concrete filled steel tubes, CFST) menjadi banyak direkomendasikan dalam proyek struktural modern. Bahan ini terbuat dari tabung baja yang diisi dengan beton. Struktur CFST ini memiliki daktilitas yang lebih baik daripada struktur konvensional. Analisis elemen hingga tiga dimensi balok CFST dilakukan dengan menggunakan sifat material nonlinear baja dan beton dan juga sifat geometri nonlinear balok. Kontak analisis antara ujung beban dan balok juga dipertimbangkan. Hasil analisis elemen hingga kemudian dibandingkan dengan hasil eksperimen balok tabung baja persegi yang diisi dengan beton. Beban-lendutan dan keruntuhan hasil analisis menunjukkan hasil yang mirip dengan eksperimen. Namun, fenomena tekuk tidak dapat dimodelkan dalam analisis elemen hingga. Efek model seperempat penampang dan atau setengah bentang dipelajari dan hasil analisisnya mirip dengan hasil analisis skala penuh. Perbandingan antara sifat material linear dan sifat material non-linear juga dipelajari. Hasil analisis material linier menunjukkan respons linear dari hubungan beban-perpindahan dan tidak ada mode kehancuran yang terjadi di rentang tengah

    Angka Kematian Ibu merupakan jumlah kematian ibu di setiap 100 kelahiran bayi hidup. Kematian ibu menjadi salah satu indikator dalam menggambarkan kesejahteraan masyarakat di suatu negara. Kematian ibu juga menjadi salah satu parameter terkait derajat  kesehatan perempuan. Jumlah kematian ibu dihitung dari kematian selama masa kehamilan, persalinan, dan nifas atau pengelolaannya, bukan dihitung dari sebab-sebab lainnya seperti kecelakaan atau jatuh. Banyak faktor yang dapat menyebabkan kematian ibu diantaranya, kunjungan ibu hamil antenatal, riwayat komplikasi, kekurangan darah, persalinan di fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan, tenaga kesehatann terlatih, dan lain-lain. Dalam analisis ini akan dilakukan pemodelan statistika untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab tingginya persentase kematian ibu di Jawa Timur dengan menggunakan regresi linier dan juga pemodelan spasial. Terdapat delapan variabel prediktor yang masing-masing karakteristiknya berbeda satu-denga yang lain. Berdasarkan kebaikan modelnya, metode OLS adalah metode paling baik yang dapat menggambarkan kasus tingginya angka kematian ibu di Jawa Timur dengan baik
