MAPPING THE HOUSING AFFORDABILITY IN BEKASI CITY
High urban population growth increases the housing demand and housing prices due to its limitations. These increasing urban housing prices affect housing affordability, especially for urban families with low and medium incomes. If people could buy a house with a large area in the past, now they need years to save money to buy a house with a smaller plot area. This study aims to study the level of housing affordability in Bekasi City based on current property prices. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with three stages of analysis, namely property price analysis based on location, purchasing power analysis, and affordability analysis of house prices in Bekasi City. For buildings area up to 60m2, the price ranges from 350 to 800 million rupiahs, while the house purchasing power is less than 2.5 million per month. This research shows that most of the residents of Bekasi City cannot afford housing prices not only because of high land prices but rather its location
Hydrodynamic Performance Analysis of Vertical Axis Water Turbine (VAWT) Gorlov Type With Hydrofoil Thickness and Inclination Angle Variables using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Approaches
The issue of renewable and eco-friendly energy has become the focus of research in several countries to encourage eco-friendly alternative energy. One of them is by using turbines to produce electrical energy. Vertical Axis Water Turbine (VAWT) can be an exciting research object because it has various advantages. VAWT has a simpler structure, can move at relatively slow currents and is famous for its tendency to move regardless of the water flowdirections. In this study, the experimental turbine from secondary data numerically simulates using the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) method with the help of ANSYS V18.1 software. The Gorlov turbine model is manufactured in 3 dimensions under steady-state flow conditions. Validation is carried out after obtained numerical results with the mean error rate being less than 10%. The variables in this research are the thickness of hydrofoil using NACA 0010, NACA 0016, NACA 0020, and variations in inclination angle of the blade for 25. After comparing the simulation results in the form of torque values is done, it is shown that the best turbine performance is given by water turbine using NACA 0016 with 60 and 60 of inclination angle
Saddle Strength Analysis on Jacket Structure During Roll Up Procedures in Fabrication Phase
Offshore platform is a structure that serves as a well drilling facility to explore, extract, store and process petroleum and gas located under the seabed. There are several phases in theconstruction of offshore structures (fixed jacket platform) from preparation to construction. Fabrication phase is the earliest stage in the manufacture of a fixed offshore platform (jacketstructure) which is carried out by the fabricator. One of the procedures at the fabrication phase is roll up procedure. In this final project research, an analysis will be carried out regarding the configuration of the rigging, crane, and sadle support used in the jacket structure during roll up procedure. After the analysis of jacket structure modeling using the SACS software, the results of rigging configuration can be obtained, which were the slingsspesifications used to connect the structure with cranes, with sling diameter of 2.75 inch and SWL value of 64 MT. As for the sling used to connect the jacket with winch has a diameter of 1.5 inch snd SWL value of 18 MT. Furthermore, the cranes used have a capacity of 75 and 78 MT, respectively. In the load analysis of the jacket structure, it was found that saddle support received the largest reaction when the jacket was at an 80-degree slope with the largest reaction value of 102.74 MT. In the saddle support local analysis, the result of maximum equivalent von-mises stress obtained was 43,486 MPa, with the saddle allowable stress of 345 Mpa, therefore the UC value of 0.24 can be obtained
Design of Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine Simulator Using Smart Monitoring System
Wind turbine shows the direct utilization of mechanical energy and occurs as follows: the wind that moves hitting the wing of the ferris wheel causes the ferris wheel to spin. The rotation of the ferris wheel causes the formation of mechanical energy, while the conversion of wind energy into electrical energy is as follows: the wind through the ferris wheel plants causes the ferris wheel to spin. The spin of the ferris wheel causes the generator to spin. Inside the wind energy generator is converted into electrical energy. In the Final Task that did the design of this prototype, do a comparison between the horizontal axis wind turbine with variations in the number of blades, with blade variations totaling 3 and 5. So, there will be 2 wind turbines with different numbers of blades in one prototype. Comparisons are made to find out the performance carried out by the two wind turbines that aim as a learning medium in the Measurement Instrumentation Laboratory. This final task is divided into five stages: including, tool design, tool characterization, tool validation, tool testing, and comparing tools. The process of designing tools that are divided into two methods, namely covering the formation of hardware and the formation of software. From the graph data contained in the discussion shows the performance with the propeller amounting to 5 produces a higher current and voltage output and rpm on this prototype scale than the number of propellers 3, with the value for example at the acceleration of fan 5 with a wind speed of 3.9 m / s on the propeller amounting to 5 resulting in an average current value of 3.2 mA, a voltage of 1.98 V, and rotor rotation of 234 RPM. While at the number of propellers 3 with the same wind speed produces smaller current output, voltage and rpm, which is obtained an average current of 2.3 mA, a voltage of 1.88 V, and rotor rotation of 243 RPM

Using Thinking Routines To Improve The Reading And Writing Skills Of Elementary Students
Developing thinking skills in teaching and learning, including English lessons, is prominent. Reading and writing are the ability that requires synthesis and higherorder thinking skills. Thinking routines as part of thinking culture is one strategy to develop thinking skills. This study investigated the importance of thinking routines in improving sixth-grade elementary school students reading and writing skills. The quasi-experimental research was conducted with 64 students divided into a control group (N=32) and an experimental group (N=32). The topic of reading and writing was appropriate for the sixth-grade students’ developmental stage. Reading and writing tests were used as data collection tools. The experts validated the reading topic and the tests. The data is analyzed statistically using the Mann-Whitney U Test. The results reveal two significant findings. The first finding was that thinking routines did not significantly improve sixth-grade students’ reading skills. On the other hand, thinking routines improved writing skills significantly. The evidence from this study suggests using thinking routines in English teaching as a base to support and structure students thinking with various perspectives. In addition, thinking routines also support students in writing opinions based on the information given
Men With Hijab: Menetapkan Kejamakan Identitas Gender Cross-Hjaber di Media Sosial
Rejection of cross-hijaber is typical of societies with traditional gender ideologies in Indonesia. In Indonesia, cross-hijaber is stigmatized with criminal, psychiatric, and sexual disorders, as well as identity crises. This study examines how cross-hijaber displays his identity in the public and private spheres via social media, both communally and individually. Cross-hijaber social identity and cross-hijaber personal identity are examined in greater detail in this study. Using a virtual ethnographic method, the study examined cross-hijaber on a Facebook group. The results of the study reveal the diversity and complexity of cross-hijaber identities in social media interactions. The distinction between social and personal identities is no longer distinct because the two can exchange positions depending on context. When cross-hijabers begin to wear their hijab, their cisgender identities will be concealed. Even cross-hijaber identity is fluid based on the social context. Otherwise, when they become cisgender, the cross-hijaber identity will not be displayed
