    PENGARUH PUPUK NITROGEN TERHADAP PENAMPILAN DAN PRODUKTIVITAS PADI INPARI SIDENUK

    The objective of the experiment were to know the performance and productivity of Inpari Sidenuk Variety. The experiment was conducted in Rempanga Village, Loa Kulu District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The seedlings at 21 days old were planted by jajar legowo method (2:1) with plant spacing  40 cm x 20 cm x 10 cm. The numbers of seedling per hill was one plant.   All paddy plants were fertilized by 400 kg Pelangi Prima compound (20-10-10) per ha at 1 week after planting.  Nitrogen fertilizer was given 40 days after planting, where previously examined leaf colour with leaf colour chart. The treatment of  nitrogen fertilizer consists of two level i.e without fertilizer (N0) and 125 kg ha-1 (N1). Observed variabel include plant height 28 DAP and harvest time, total number of tiller at 28 DAP and harvest time, number of productive tillers, panicle length,  number of grains per panicle, percentage of filled grain, 1.000 grain weight, and yields.T test was used to analyze the data, except for the yield. The results show that N1 treatment have significant effect on plant height at harvest time, panicle length, 1.000 grain weight. While its effect on yield was 7.52 tonnes ha-1.

    The effectiveness of some modes of mosaic virus transmission in chili plants.  This study aims to determine the persistence of the mosaic virus in chili and techniques as well as effective mosaic virus infection on chili plants. The experiment was conducted for about four months from land preparation up to the last data collection. Research conducted at the Green House Agronomy Faculty of Agriculture, University Mulawarman. Research and laboratory tests carried out on 35 samples of chili fruit crops, which consists of 25 pieces of diseased plant samples and 10 samples of healthy plants. The results showed that the cause of the mosaic disease in pepper caused by viruses, which dibuktikakan with some testing include: watering with tetracycline antibiotics for 10 days on diseased plants did not show symptoms of healing. Grafting (grafting) between healthy and diseased plants plants rnenunjukkan healthy plant mosaic experience symptoms at week 4 (the virus moves through the vascular tissue). Vector Myzus persicae were introduced into healthy plants for 7 days successfully transmit the virus to healthy plants that exhibit the same symptoms on day ll. Mechanical transmission is not successfully transmit the virus to healthy plants until day 4 after inoculation. The most effective method of infection is by using subsequent grafting by using insects. Meanwhile mosaic virus transmission by mechanical means is not effective because there are no infected plants after mechanically inoculated

    Effect of Urea and Elang Biru Liquid Organic Fertilizer on the Growth of Rubber Seedling (Hevea brasiliensis L.), 260 Pb variety.  The objective of research were: (1) to study the effect of Urea and Elang Biru liquid organic fertilizer on the growth of rubber seedling PB 260; and (2) to find the proper combination of Urea and Elang Biru liquid organic fertilizer for better rubber seedling growth.   The research lasted for about four months, from March to June 2013, it carried out at Melapeh Baru Village, Linggang Bigung Sub-District of West Kutai District, the East Kalimantan Province.  It employed the Completely Randomised Design, consisted of two factors and five replications. The first factor was Urea (N), consisted of three levels: no urea application (n0), 5 g polybag-1 (n1), and 10 g polybag -1 (n2).  The second factor was Elang Biru liquid organic fertilizer consentration (E) with three levels: no application (e0), 4 ml 1-1 water (e1), and 6 ml 1 -1 water (e2).  Result of the research indicated that: (1).  The Urea application did not affect significantly on the seedling height, stem diameter and leave number at 4, 5, and 6 months old; (2) Elang Biru liquid organic fertilizer application did not also affect significantly on the seedling height, stem diameter and leave number at 4, 5, and 6 months old;; (3) The interaction between Urea and Elang Biru liquid organic fertilizer did not affect significantly on all parameters observed. The interaction between Urea 10 g polibag-1 and 6 ml 1-1 water Elang Biru liquid organic fertilizer treatment gave the best effect for rubber seedling growth

    Effect of Cow Manure and Green Tonic Fertilizer on the Growth and Yield of Sweet Corn (Zea mays L. var saccharata Sturt).  Research purposes to determine the effect of cow manure and fertilizer GreenTonic on growth and yield of sweet corn.  The study was conducted from February 2013 to May, 2013, at Dingin Village, Muara Lawa Sub Distric of WestKutai.Distric.EastKalimantanProvince. Research purposes to determine the effect of cow manure and fertilizer Green Tonic on growth and yield of sweet corn. The study was conducted from February 2013 to May, 2013, in Dingin village, Muara Lawa Sub District of West Kutai District. East Kalimantan Province. Research design used 3x3 factorial experiment in a randomized block design (RBD) premises 3 blocks (replicates). Treatment factor I is Cow Manure (K), consists of three levels, namely: without the cow manure (k0), the dose of cow manure 10 tonnes / ha (k1), the dose of cow manure 15 tonnes / ha (k2). Treatment factor II is fertilizer Green Tonic (G), consists of three levels, namely: without fertilizer Green Tonic (g0), the concentration of fertilizer Green Tonic 1ml / l. water (g1), and the concentration of fertilizer Green Tonic 2 ml / l. water (g2). Treatment of cow manure (K) significantly different to the current parameters out male flowers and heavy cob. Significantly different cob diameter. Not differ significantly affect plant height at 30 days and 45 days, while female flowers out, ear length and cob production. Green manure treatment Tonok (G) significantly different to the cob diameter, cob weight and cob production. Significantly different when the male flowers out and ear length. Unlike tidaknyata the plant height at 30 days and 45 days, and while out female flowers. Treatment interaction (KxG) did not differ significantly affected plant height at 30 days and 45 days, while the male flowers come out, when out of the female flower, ear length, ear diameter, ear weight and ear production

    Objectives of the research were to study the effect of type and concentration  organic liquid fertilizer, as well as their interaction on the growth and yield of mustard green; and to find proper type and consentration of organic liquid fertilizer for better growth and production of mustard green.  The research was carried out from September to October 2012, since preparation of growing media until crop harvested.  It was held at Experiment Garden Area of Faculty of Agriculture, The 17th ofAugust 1945 University, Samarinda.     The research employed Completely Randomised Design (CRD) with factorial 2 x 5 experiment and 3 replications.  The first factor was type of organic liquid fertilizer (B), that consisted of two levels, namely:  Nasa (b1), and Bio Sugih (b2). The second factor was concentration of organic liquid fertilizer (N), that consisted of five levels, namely: no organic liquid fertilizer as control (n0); 1,0 ml l-1 water (n1); 2,0 ml l-1 water (n2); 3,0 ml l-1 water (n3), and 4,0 ml l-1 water (n4). Results of the research indicated that: (1) organic liquid fertilizer types (B) affect significantly on plant weight, but it did not affect significantly on plant height and number of leafs  at 7 and 21 days after planting and at harvest time; (2) concentration of organic liquid fertilizer (N) affect significantly on plant height at 21 days after planting and plant height at harvest time, number of leafs  at 21 days after planting and plant weight, but it did not significantly on  plant height at 7 days after planting and number of leaf at 7 days after planting and at harvest time. The highest plant weight was attained on the 2,0 ml l-1 water treatment (n2) with 185,59 g plant-1 while the worst one was on the no organic liquid fertilizer   treatment (n0) with 84,02 g plant-1; and (3) the interaction between those two factors did not affect significantly on all parameters observed

    Objectives of the research were: (1) to study the effect of kind and dosage Organic fertilizer, as well as their interaction on the growth and yield of eggplant; (2) to find kind and profer dosage of organic fertilizer for better growth and yield of eggplant.   The research was carried out from February to May 2013, since preparation of growing media until crop harvested. It was held at Purwodadi Urban Village, Linggang Bigung Sub-District, West Kutai District.  The Completely Randomised Design was employed for this research with factorial 2 x 5 and 4 replications.  The first factor was kind of organic fertilizer (P) that consisted of 2 levels: cow manure fertilizer (p1), and bokashi of cow manure fertilizer (p2).  And the second factor was dosage of organic fertilizer (D) that consisted of 2 levels: no organic fertilizer (d0),  2,50 Mg ha-1 equal to 18,75 g polybag-1 (d1);  5,00 Mg ha-1 equal to 37,50 g polybag-1 (d2);  7,50 Mg ha-1 equal to 56,25 g polybag-1 (d3); and 10,00 Mg ha-1 equal to 75,00 g polybag-1 (d4).  Results of the research revealed that: (1) the kind of organic fertilizer affected significantly to very significantly on the plant height at 45 days after planting, length of fruit, and diameter of fruit, while no significant on the  the plant height at 15 and 30 days after planting,  number of leaf at 15, 30, and 45 days after planting,  days of crop flowered, days of crop harvested, number of fruit per crop, and fruit weight per crop.  The weighest fruit was attained by bokashi of cow manure fertilizer (p2), namely 0,74 kg per crop, whereas the lightest one was by cow manure fertilizer (p1) with only 0,72 kg per crop; (2) the organic fertilizer dosage affected significant until very significantly on the  plant height at 30 and 45 days after planting, number of leaf at 45 days after planting,  days of crop flowered, days of crop harvested, number of fruit  per crop, length of fruit, and fruit weight per crop; but no significant on the  the plant height at 15 days after planting, number of leaf at 15 and 30 days after planting,  and diameter of fruit. The weighest fruit was attained by 75,00 g polybag-1 treatment (d4), namely 0,85 kg per crop and the lightest one was by no organic fertilizer application treatment (d0) with only 0,66 kg per crop; and (3) the interaction between those two factors no significant on the all parameters, exceptly on the plant height at 30 days after planting

    Objective of the research was to study the effect of Bokashi and Phonska NPK compound fertilizer on the growth of cocoa seedling and to find out the best interaction between them on the cocoa seedling.  The research was carried out in Tutung Village, Linggang Bigung Sub District of West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province.  It lasted for about four months (February 2013 to May 2013).   The Completely Randomised Design was employed for this research with factorial 4 x 4 and 4 replications.  The first factor was Bokashi (B), consisted of 4 sub factors: No Bokashi application (b0), 10 ton Bokashi/ha or equal to 5 gram/polybag (b1), 20 ton Bokashi/ha or equal to 10 gram/polybag (b2,), and 30 ton Bokashi/ha or equal to 15 gram/polybag (b3).  And the second factor was application of Phonska NPK compound fertilizer on the cocoa seedling (P) that consisted of 4 sub-factors: no Phonska npk  compound fertilizer aapplication (P0), 1 g Phonska NPK compound fertilizer/polybag (p1), 2 g Phonska NPK compound fertilizer/polybag (p2), 3 g Phonska NPK compound fertilizer/polybag (p3).Results of the research indicated that the application of Bokashi and Phonska NPK compound fertilizer, as well as their interaction did not effect significantly at all on all parameters observed, namely seedling height, leave number, and stem diameter at 1-,2-, and 3-month old

    This study aims to analyze the financial of chili farming.  This research was conducted in the village of Purwajaya, Loa Janan sub district, Kutai Kartanegara Regency began in February 2013 until April 2013. research will be undertaken include census data retrieval biographical data of respondents, quisoner and interviews in the study site, the number of farmer respondents were 11 people.  The data used in this study is primary data and secondary data. Chili farming conditions in the village Purwajaya showed good results in the amount of 13.522,71 kgs/ha.  The results showed that the average income of respondents was Rp.162.272.463,77,-/ha and the expenditure of Rp.78.251.032,90,-/ha so that the income of Rp.84.021.430.87,-/ha.  This means that the level of efficiency of agricultural production chili 2.07 ratio calculation.  Value of BEP (Break-even point) for volume production at 5.786,64 kgs/ha and BEP production price Rp.6520,9,-/kgs which means that it is very efficient for chili farming in manage (favorable) or with the addition of Rp 1.00 expenses will generating revenue of 2.07

    The Effect of NPK Mutiara Fertilizer And Cow Manure on the Growth and Yield of Curly Red Chili (Capsicum annuum L.), Arimbi Variety.  Objectives of the research were to know the effect of NPK Mutiara fertilizer and cow manure as well as its interactio on the growth and yield of curly red chili varieties Arimbi.The research to start was from February 2013 to June 2013, carried out at Asa Gemuhan Village, Barong Tongkok Sub District of West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province.The research design employed was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with  factorial 3x3 and  five replications. The first factor was application of NPK Mutiara Fertilizer (M), that consisted of three sub-factors : NPK Mutiara fertilizer  150 kg per ha or equal 1.5 g per polybag (m1), 300 kg per ha or equal 3 g per polybag) (m2) and 450 kg per ha or equal 3 g per polybag (m3). And second  factor  was Cow Manure (K), consisted of three sub-faktor : no cow manure (k0), 5 ton per ha or equal 50 g per  polybag (k1) and 10 ton per  ha or equal 100 g per polybag (k2).Results of the research revealed that the application of NPK Mutiara fertilizer (M) significantly on plant height 40 days and 60 days after planting and age of plant harvested, but did not  affect significantly on age of plant height 20 days after planting, the number of branches, the age of flowering, number of fruits per crop and fruit weight per crop.The cow manure (K) did not a affected significantly on plant height at 20 days, 40 days and 60 days after planting, the number of branches, age of flowering ,age at harvested, number of fruits per  crop and fruit weight per cropThe interaction between cow manure and NPK Mutiara fertilizer did  not  affected significantly on plant height at 20 days, 40 days and 60 days after planting, the number of branches,  age of flowering, age of harvested, number of fruits per crop and fruit weight per crop

    This study aims to determine the actual utilization of forest use borrowed by coal mining company PT Mahakan Sumber Jaya and to determine the implications of the application of the rules of forest use in coal mining systems and various aspects of land use and forest areas that have put the loan to a third party. Companies selected in this study are located in the Kutai regency, namely PT Mahakam Sumber Jaya to wear borrowed acreage is approximately 2925.4 hectares. The selection is based on the availability of data that can be analyzed as well as one of the coal mining company that has been carrying out mining and reclamation in some areas has been completed exploited.The method used is the Survey Methods and techniques of data collection is a combination of several methods is by questionnaires, interviews, library research and documentation.  Questionnaires and interview techniques are used to complement the primary data and secondary data and documentation that has been done.  While the literature is used to collect literature and supporting materials used to construct the initial research plan. The material collected in the form of the results of similar studies, activity reports and other materials relating to the study.  The survey results revealed that the utilization of forest area lend use by PT Mahakam Jaya Lestari has been realized almost entirely, ie 92.70%, and the utilization of forest area or lease area by PT Mahakam Jaya Lestari in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation of the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number P.38/Menhut-II/2012 About Guidelines Borrow and Use of Forest Area.  Reclamation and revegetation activities in stage I and II has been well realized, with over 80% success.  A small part of the area of the former coal extraction tanbang closure yet again
