Pengembangan Subject Specific Pedagogy Berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk Penguatan Sikap Peduli Lingkungan pada Siswa SMP
The aims of this research is to know the characteristics, feasibility, and efectiveness of develop Subject Spesific Pedagogy (SSP) based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) to reinforce student’s environmental attitude in Grade VII SMP Negeri 2 Karanganyar academic year 2015/2016. This research is a Research and Development or R&D which refers to the development of Thiagarajan design (4D). This research model consist of define, design and develop. The stage carried out are limited to ad this stage of development because the purpose of this research only develop product SSP based on PBL. The product’s characteristic is integration of PBL syntax and environmental subject. The validation results from expert judgments showed that 87,35% in module (valid), 85,71% in RPP (valid), 84,29% in LKS (valid) and 87,22% in problem set (valid). The development testing result from students and teacher showed that 86,07% (valid). NEP data showed that the mean value had been improved from 47,79 up to 61,58. Paired Sample t-test showed that sig = 0,000 < α (sig<0,0) it’s mean there was differences student’s environmental attitude between pre and post treatment. The conclusion of this research showed that SSP based on PBL is valid and proper for Grade VII SMP Negeri 2 Karanganyar. SSP based on PBL is effective to improve environmental attitude
Peningkatan Keterampilan Kerjasama Peserta Didik melalui Penerapan Model Group Investigation
The research aimed to improve student’s teamwork skills through the application of Group Investigation model. The research was a Classroom Action Research that performed within 2 cycles used Group Investigation (GI) model. The research partisipans were 36 students of XI MIA 4 SMA N Colomadu Karanganyar academic year 2015/2016. The research data consisted 12 indicators teamwork skills include the group's goals, trust and conflict, reaction of differences, leadership, control and procedures, utilisation of resources, interpersonal communication, listening, flow of communication, problem solving, experimentation and creativity, and evaluation that collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The validity of the data used technique of triangulation method. The research used qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed an increase that varies on each indicators. Thus, the application of Group Investigation model can improved student’s teamwork skills
PENGUKURAN TINGKAT PEMAHAMAN MAHASISWA TERHADAP VISI MISI PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN BIOLOGI FKIP UNTAN
The Implementation of education in Higher Education must have the vision and mission to achieve a certain goal. The result of the vision and mission statement is socialized to get feedback as an evaluation and perfection of the vision and mission. The achievement of vision and mission that have been determined must be known, understood, and implemented by all academicians including students. This research was conducted to measure the level of students' understanding of the vision and mission of Biology Education Study Program of FKIP Untan. This research used qualitative approach with descriptive study. The subjects in this research were 246 students of Biology Education Study Program of FKIP Untan class of 2015, 2016, and 2017. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with closed and open statement. The results of this study indicated that in general the students have understood the vision and mission well. Data analysis showed that 236 (95,93%) students have read vision and mission, 190 (77,24%) and 204 (82,93%) students knew about vision and mission, 203 (33,44%), 101 (64%) students were the highest percentage of students who read the vision and mission in standing banner or class and in academic guidance book. Furthermore, 162 students (65.85 %) agreed that they have been well informed about the vision and mission, 165 students (67.07%) agreed that they have understood the vision and mission, 173 students (70.33%) agreed with the existence of vision and mission, and 159 students (64.63%) agreed that the vision and mission were used as references
Pengaruh Media Pembelajaran Natural Picture Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran IPA
Science is a science that learns about life in the world from all aspects. To be able to study these subjects requires a deeper understanding of the material. Application of learning innovations needs to be done to achieve the objectives of science subjects especially by teachers so as to provide hands-on experience for students to acquire innovative learning. Based on the observations at SMP Negeri 1 Bancar known that the results obtained by students less satisfactory. The process of teaching and learning is done by lecture method, when the learning process takes place many students are sleepy and chatting. To improve the learning outcomes in science subjects especially biology required the existence of learning innovation, namely by using Natural Picture learning media. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of Natural Picture learning media on student learning outcomes in science biology subjects in SMP Negeri 1 bancar. The type of research used is Quasi Eksperimen. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Bancar with research sample that is student of class VII A which amounted to 32 students as experiment class and student of class VII E which amounted to 32 students as control class. The research design used was Pre-Test research design - Post-Test Control Group Design. Based on the results of data analysis of learning results, the average value in the experimental class given treatment using Natural Picture learning media is higher than the control class using the lecture method. The experiment class is 87.12 and the control class is 74.37. In the hypothesis test the Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000, when compared with α 0.05 then Sig <α then H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a difference in mean values of experimental class learning outcomes and control classes. That is, there is the effect of learning media Natural Picture on student learning outcomes.
Teknik Instruksional Pertanyaan Guru Di Tahap Evaluating Data, Driving A Conclusion, Presenting The Project In Class As Preffered & Discussion Project Based Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Skor Valid Relationship Concept Map
This research aimed to calculate the valid relationship score of concept map (CM) using instructional technique of teacher’s questions in the stages of evaluating data, driving a conclusion, presenting the project in class as preferred & discussion project-based learning. This research was a classroom action research. This research was a classroom action research with the research subject of 36 students in X MIPA of Senior High School. The research procedure was including: planning, lesson plan completed with assessment, acting, observing and reflecting. Validity test in this research was using triangulation method that consisted of verification of valid relationship CM score, documentation based on expert CM and interview to present the valuable relation between concepts. Reduction done to choose the data completion, data interpretation and conclusion based on the complete valid relationship data. Data analysis was using descriptive qualitative. The result of this research shows that valid relationship score of expert CM in pre-research, cycle I and cycle II were written as follows. 1.95%-14.98% with 13.89% of the under averaged students’ score and 11.11% of the over averaged students’ score. 3.08%-61.54% with 19.44% of the under averaged students’ score and 11.11% of the over averaged students’ score. 16.58%-32.16% with 11.11% of the under averaged students’ score and 16.67% of over averaged students’ score. Thus, the use of instructional technique of questioning in the stages of evaluating data, driving a conclusion, presenting the project in class as preferred & discussion project-based learning improving the valid relationship CM score on the individual and classical.
Analisis Masalah Guru dan Siswa terhadap Perangkat Pembelajaran Biologi Berbasis Group Investigation untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa
AbstractThe purpose of this research is to obtain 1) the understanding of teachers related to Group Investigation-based biology learning tools and critical thinking skills, 2) description of students' ability in critical thinking, 3) solutions to solve teacher and student problems related to group invetigation-based learning. Understanding of teachers and students obtained by interview and questionnaire is analyzed descriptively qualitative. The result of this research are: 1) the understanding of biology teacher related to biology learning device based on group investigation is still less so less optimal learning process, 2) biology teacher still experiencing difficulties in developing learning device so that require socialization, 3) critical thinking of student in learning still less , 4) the need for direction and guidance to develop learning tools. The sample observations in this analysis were teachers and students at SMAN 6 PPU. The results showed that 78.15% of teachers experienced difficulties in developing learning tools. Teacher states that the students in the class less critical thinking by 70.10%.Keyword
