Influence of Aggression Management Program in Reducing Aggressive Behavior of Filipino Children in Conflict with the Law
Aggression is a behavior that intent to hurt others. Despite collective researches about aggression, there is a dearth in fully established psychosocial programs for the Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL) and evaluating program directed to aggressive behavior in the Philippines. Eight CICL housed in an institution under the supervision of the DSWD-Dasmariñas were the primary source of data. The study seeks to describe the pre-and-post mean scores of aggressions and determine the significant difference in aggression reduction before and after exposure to AMP. Employing the quasi-experimental design, the researchers administered the intervention and conducted repeated-measures to measure the effectiveness of AMP thru combined approaches of CBT-EFT in reducing their aggression level. Findings revealed that their aggression in the areas of physically aggressive responses, and verbally aggressive reactions were diminished after participating in the AMP, with the inclusion of counseling sessions in addressing problematic concerns related to aggressive behavior
The Influence of Perceived Maternal Warmth toward Empathy among Urban Adolescents from Low Socio-Economic Status Family
This study aims to investigate how far maternal warmth can prredict empathy among urban adolescents who are living in the poverty condition. Sample in this study were 202 adolescents coming from low socio-economic status family in Jakarta, chosen with purposive sampling technique. The instruments that were used are Basic Empathy Scale and subscale of warmth/affection from Parental Acceptance-Rejection Questionnaire. Regression analysis indicate that maternal warmth has signitificant and positive role towards empathy among adolescents living in poverty condition by 7 %. Maternal warmth is also known to contribute on the affective empathy by 2,9 % and on the cognitive empathy by 8,7 %. The results of this study are expected to be a reference to develop educational programs for adolescents and mothers who live in poverty for preventing moral transgression among this population.

Working Memory Function Enhancement Intervention Using Padjadjaran Memory Rehearsal Application in Children with Mild Intellectual Disability
This research was aim to investigate the enhancing of working memory function of children with mild intellectual disability with 6-7 years old mental age after intervention with Padjadjaran Memory Rehearshal Application (PMRA) Padjadjaran Memory Rehearshal Application (PMRA), with assessed their performance in other task that did not give in intervention, digit span and Knox cube. This research used Quasi Experiment Within Subject Design, which involved 5 children with mild intellectual disability with 6-7 years old mental age. The data analysis used Wilcoxon Matched-Pairs Signed-Ranks, the Digit Span task and Knox Cube showed that PMRA could enhance the phonological loop (Tobs=Ttab) but did not enhance visuo-spatial component (Tobs>Ttab). PMRA can be used to enhance participant’s working memory function in holding and using information that processed verbally
The Differences in Executive Function, Protein Intake, and Daily Activities Function of Elderly Living in Urban and Rural Area
Person in the elderly life phase will naturally experience a decrease in bodily functions either due to natural degenarive process or disease. The brain is one part of body that has decreased function. Previous study has shown that a strong decline in executive function can reduce the ability of the elderly to plan, organize, self control, and become aware of problems, which will affect the decrease in the capacity of the elderly to carry out daily activities. The good news is, other studies have shown that the decline in brain performance can actually be inhibited by proper protein intake. Instruments used for daily activities using ADLI and IADL; executive function was measured with the TMT A and B battery test, Digit Span, and Five Point Test which have been adapted to Indonesian; nutritional status using Waist:Hip Ratio; and Protein supply using 24-h Recall. The Mann-Whitney test Technique reveals that (1) there is no difference in executive function in urban and rural elderly; (2) there is no difference in protein intake among urban and rural elderly. However, it was found that (3) there was a significant difference between ADL in Urban and rural Elderly with Z = -2.083 (p=0.0037, < 0,05) and the ADL function of the elderly in the village was higher (M=12,5) than the function. The Effectiveness of Mindfulness Therapy for Anxiety: A Review of Meta Analysis
The aims of this study was to analyzed and reviewed the literatures about effectiveness mindfulness therapy to reduce anxiety. The method was Reviewing fourteen literature (international journal) and using Meta-analysis method to analyzed effectiveness mindfulness therapy for reduce anxiety. The result revealed that fourteen journals showed that mindfulness therapy effective to reduce anxiety. Effect size score from random effect is 1, 28 (95% CI=0,803 to 1,756, P=0,0) with I2 (inkonsistensi) 89.0%. These result show that mindfulness therapy effective (significant) to reduce anxiety
Analysis of the 7s Framework of McKinsey in the UKM X Yogyakarta
UKM is a place for a group of citizens to develop skills in the business sector. The problem that often occurs is the lack of a working system. There is a weak system that regulates work patterns, both in individuals and groups. Another thing that was discovered was the lack of the ultimate goal of the UKM group. So that at work the human resources are only reasonable to fill spare time. In this study, researchers used a qualitative approach by using interviews and observations as data collection methods. The subjects of this study were members of UKM X Yogyakarta. The assessment approach applied by researchers using McKinsey 7s at three levels of approach namely, organizations, groups and individuals. From the results of the study it was found that UKM X Yogyakarta still does not have clear objectives in running the business and there are also some members who lack good job communication skills. This makes UKM X less productive and unable to compete with other SMEs. Researchers provide goal setting training recommendations to all members of UKM X to be able to resolve the above problems
Sibling Rivalry in 2-4 Years Old Children: Maternal Management Based on Emotion Coaching Concept
Sibling rivalry is a usual phenomenon in sibling relationship. Sibling rivalry refers to envy, jealousy, and competition between siblings. The birth of younger sibling causes the first child to be flustered, disturbed and experiences change in the routines; makes the first child to feel that parents do not have time for her/him anymore. The experience may result in the sibling relationship and child behavior problems, hence it should be managed. Mother has an important role in handling sibling rivalry and emotion coaching is one of the ways to support emotional development. Emotion coaching refers to acceptance of the emotion and teach the child to regulate it. This qualitative study explored maternal management in sibling rivalry based on emotion coaching concept. We inteviewed four mothers with two children of same sex, the first child is 2-4 years old and the second child is 0-6 weeks old. Findings revealed that the four mothers haven’t used all stages of emotion coaching in handling sibling rivalry as yet. Mothers tended to deny their child’s emotion and use their own perception in dealing with sibling rivalry. Implication of this result was discussed
Case Research of Personology of Filipino Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL)
In the Philippines, afar from the usual attachment, a child sometimes leads to offend out of survival necessity that leads to total separation from their family, this explains a phenomenon of conflict to the law. Aiming to describe the profile and personology of CICL in Bahay Kalinga; and its correlates. Case research was used in analyzing violations, family structure and personology among 20 participants. In-house CICL’s profile depicted: 15 years and 9 months as average age; substantial number of boys committed offences than girls; commonly falls below poverty rate; majority stop schooling; all own a dysfunctional family; and affirmed 4-5 family members. Regarding personology, mostly verified an average self-concept, majority pointed out having realistic self-image, and beyond median represented low self-esteem. Descriptions and measures of their profile and personology could determine the risk of being CICL. The patterns of personology were focused through the information of their extracted statements. Personology traits and types play a vital role in the concepts described by Filipino CICL. Thus, there were seven themes that build up the collection of personology as precedents of traits and patterns. Personalized Online Advertisements as A Means of Enhancing Purchase Intention:The Mediating Effect of Advertising Value
The high number of online shopping transactions and the rapid increase in internet users in Indonesia has encouraged many marketers to advertise their products online. The growth of online advertising can no longer be limited or dammed, so efforts to increase the effectiveness of online advertising is a big challenge for marketers. Personalized advertising is one of the innovations that aim to increase the effectiveness of online advertising. This study combines models of web advertising, traditional advertising, smartphone advertising, personalization, and advertising value to understand how the process of personalization in online advertising influences purchase intention. Based on the results of the integration, researchers hypothesize that the advertising value mediates the relationship between personalization of online advertising and purchase intention. This study involved 327 respondents consisting of internet users in Jabodetabek by distributing questionnaires online. Data were analyzed by regression analysis using SPSS 22.0. The results show that personalization significantly influences purchase intention, personalization is significantly related to advertising value, advertising value is significantly related to purchase intention and the relationship between personalization and purchase intention is fully mediated by advertising value
Self-Efficacy Training To Improve Hardiness of Firefigthers in “Dinas Kebakaran dan Penanggulangan Bencana Kota Bandung”
The purpose of this research is to understand the increasing of hardiness in Firefighter of Dinas Kebakaran dan Penanggulangan Bencana Kota Bandung after given self-efficacy training. The theory used were self-efficacy theory from Bandura (2002) and hardiness from Maddi & Khosaba (2005). The research has 18 subjects as a sample taken by purposive sampling methods. The methods use was Quasi-experimental. Data was analyzed using Wilcoxon signed rank test statistic methods to make comparison between pre-test and post-test. As a result of this research: degree of hardiness in Firefighter of Dinas Kebakaran dan Penanggulangan Bencana Kota Bandung was increase after participate in self-efficacy training. Conclude that self-efficacy training could help to increase hardiness in Firefighter of Dinas Kebakaran dan Penanggulangan Bencana Kota Bandung
