    The Influence of the Dimensions of Higher Education Service Quality on Student Satisfaction

    The quality of service at the institution is one of the essential factors for service users. Higher education services are one of the institutions that need to be studied, the extent to which the quality of services is provided. This study examines the effect of higher education service quality on student satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used the slovin method. The primary data in this study were obtained from the perceptions of students who filled out and returned the questionnaire, analyzed using the multiple regression analysis techniques. The analysis and discussion results show that the dimensions of service quality (reliability, responsiveness, assurance of empathy, and physical evidence) have a positive effect on student satisfaction. It is recommended that service quality, such as reliability, responsiveness, empathy, and physical evidence, be further improved, considering that the effect is small except for guarantees

    How is the Compensation of Employees?

    The compensation system is very critical and sensitive in the company. So that not a few companies are experiencing difficulties due to compensation that appears not implemented properly. The primary purpose of this study was to determine the remuneration system at PKU Aisyiyah Hospital Jepara. This study uses observation and in-depth interviews with selected respondents to collect data and analyzes with a qualitative approach using an action research design. The qualitative case study used purposive sampling involving nine people directly involved in the compensation process: three directors, three heads of general and finance divisions, and three finance staff. Some hospitals have not implemented the 2017 Permendiknas, but they have generally implemented several remuneration principles. This research has implications for the process of providing remuneration to hospital employees and recommendations for hospital managers to improve the application of remuneration according to PERMEN 2017

    Student Satisfaction Index on Lecturer Performance Based on E-learning and Competence

    Student satisfaction in the learning process is influenced by various factors, one of which is related to the performance and competence of lecturers. This study aims to identify student satisfaction with the lecture process based on lecturer performance competencies. The research method used is a survey research method. The sampling technique in this study used a non-probability incidental sampling technique. This study was conducted to measure the quality of lecturer performance from students' perspectives. The unit of research analysis is the individual (student). Respondents were sent randomly using the Google Drive system in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, which impacted the online lecture system. The results of the analysis show that the performance of lecturers with an IKM score of 2.82 (70.5), where the service quality is category B. The quality of service B shows that the performance of UIN Walisongo lecturers is categorized as good. Of the 14 elements studied, there is one unsatisfactory indicator: Timeliness of attendance Lecturers have an average performance score of 2.46. The other 13 indicators assessed by Walisongo State Islamic University students had good categories

    Analysis of the Return and Risk of Investment in Insurance Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

    The return and risk of stock investment have a high level of volatility because it depends on fundamental and technical conditions and the influence of micro and macro variables. This study aims to determine the risk and return on investment in insurance companies and analyze the effect of macroeconomic variables on the level of risk and return on investment in insurance companies. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling.  Data analysis shows that for three years, Asuransi Jasa Tania Tbk has the highest level of conclusion, which is 22.3%, and Asuransi Harta Aman Pratama Tbk. has the lowest rate of -3.3%. For three years, the value of Gross Domestic Product has increased successively so that this will cause a stock return that is proportional to the level of risk that will be faced. Changes in the inflation rate up and down for three consecutive years have a different effect every year where when the inflation rate decreases, the rate of return on investment will be high. In addition, the interest rate decreased from 4.75% in 2016 to 4.25% in 2017. Then it increased to 6.00% in 2018. The Rupiah exchange rate against the dollar is getting weaker, indicating an increase in the exchange rate. Every year from 2016 to 2018. When the rupiah exchange rate weakens, people will choose to invest in foreign currencies because the value of these foreign currencies can determine the size of the risk of a business

    The Effect of Good Corporate Governance, Free Cash Flow, and Tax Planning on Earnings Management

    Earnings is one of the management assessment tools as a form of responsibility to investors, thus allowing opportunistic behavior to do earnings management. The study aims to determine the effect of good corporate governance, free cash flow, and tax planning on earnings management. In this study, the independent variables are the board of independent commissioners, institutional ownership, audit committee, free cash flow, and tax planning. The dependent variable is earnings management which is projected through discretionary accruals using the modified Jones model. Data collected in this study used the documentation method and library method. The object of this study is state-owned companies listed in the 2014-2018 period of the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, and the analysis technique used multiple linear. This study shows that a partial board of independent commissioners, institutional ownership, audit committee, and tax planning do not significantly affect earnings management. In contrast, free cash flow has a significant negative impact on earnings management. Therefore, implementing good corporate governance, free cash flow, and tax planning which is not just to fulfill existing regulations, will increase performance and company value and trust of investors

    Increasing Company Value Through Financial Policies and Performance of Manufacturing Companies Listed on The Indonesia Stock Exchange

    The phenomenon that there are still many manufacturing industry companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that have a PBV smaller than one is the main basis for conducting the study. This study aims to analyze the effect of financial policy and financial performance on firm value. The sampling technique was based on purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used a linear regression model. Based on the analysis and discussion results, there are four main findings obtained from this study: First, the model used is significant to explain changes in firm value with the ability to explain 48.7 percent. Second, of the five independent variables, there are three variables: the policy in working capital management and the performance variable, namely the volatility of expectations and returns, which have a significant effect. To the value of the company. Third, the company's financial performance factors have a more dominant influence on the company's value dynamics than policy factors. Fourth, the direction coefficient of the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable, although the two variables are not significant. The practical implication is to increase the value of a manufacturing company. Therefore, it is advisable to consider financial policies and financial performance. Theoretically, financial management based on signal theory and trade-off theory of Islamic perspective theory can increase firm value

    Global warming is caused by an increase in greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere, so companies must take responsibility for this through activities to reduce emissions. The purpose of this study is to examine whether environmental costs can moderate the disclosure of greenhouse gas emissions against firm value. This research is a type of quantitative analysis. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The collecting data through literature study, documentation and secondary data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014-2018. The data analysis technique used the WarpPls 4.0 analysis. They are testing the data using the inner model and outer model methods. This study indicates that GHG emission disclosure has a negative and significant effect on firm value. Environmental costs also have a negative and significant impact on firm value. Meanwhile, ecological prices are not able to moderate the impact of GHG emission disclosures on company value

    This study aimed to determine the graduate user assessment (stakeholder response). The method used is through a preliminary survey phase of the alumni database, creating a google form tracer study of stakeholder responses, tracking stakeholder responses, distributing tracer study questionnaires and random stakeholder interviews. The research sample is the 2012-2014 class of chemistry graduate users who have been recorded in a tracer study of aspects of alumni tracking. The results of the study show that the assessment of graduates according to stakeholders is integrity (moral and ethics) very good category (63%), professionalism is good (51%), information technology is good (61%), teamwork is good (aspects) 63%), good personal development aspects (63%), good leadership aspects (80%), good foreign language skills (68%), good communication skills (73%), innovation ability and creativity good category (59%), and motivation in working good category (51%)

This service-based research explains how to strive for them to gain access to public services, social acceptance, and policy changes so that they are not discriminated against again.     Head lice (Pediculus humanus capitis) greatly interferes with human activity because it can cause itching of the head, redness and severe infections. The use of natural insecticides is recommended, because natural insecticides are considered safer. Potential anti lice plants are lime and noni. The combination of the two is believed to have a more effective effect on head lice mortality. This study aims to study and determine the effect of a combination of lime juice and noni on the mortality of Pediculus humanus capitis. The concentration of lime and noni which are used are 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%, respectively. The combination of test materials used was 25% limes 75% noni; 50% lime 50% noni; 75% lime and 25% noni, negative control and positive control. The combination of the extract of noni and lime juice had the highest mortality effect on Pediculus humanus capitis with a concentration of 25% combination of lime; 75% noni
