    DEMOKRASI PESANTREN : MENEBAR FORMAT POLITIK YANG DAMAI

    Dalam bahasa KH Abdurrahman Wahid, Pesantren merupakan sebuah sub kultur budaya masyarakat Indonesia. Kyai sebagai  pengasuh Pesantren menjadi tokoh sentral tidak saja sebagai pengeloa Pesantren tetapi Kyai juga sebagai tokoh dan panutan masyarakat Pesantren. Bahkan ada yang menyatakan bahwa Kyai di Pesantren bagaikan Raja-raja kecil yang mempunyai kekuasaan penuh atas masyarakat yang memberikan mandat kepadanya.Namun dalam dunia politik ketokohan Kyai tidak bisa disamakan dalam posisinya sebagai tokoh Pesantren. Hal ini bukan karena Kyai tidak layak untuk menjadi panutan dalam berpolitik, tetapi dalam dunia politik, Pesantren menggunakan perspektif sunni, di mana kekuasaan adalah kewajiban kelompok (fardu kifayah), sehingga politik dijadikan sebagai wasilah/media bukan ghoyah/tujuan dalam rangka mencapai kemashlahatan ummat.Banyaknya praktek politik yang mengatasnamakan politik Islam seperti khilafah Islamiyah di timur tengah semacam al-Qaedah, ISIS dan sejenisnya, menjadikan kesan politik Islam yang arogan dan menakutkan. Sementara berpolitik ala pesantren mencerminkan politik Islam yang penuh kedamaian dan persahabatan

    Conflict  Prita Vs RS. Omni was originally not exactly examined by using the theory of dialectical conflict Dahrendorf. Since the theory of Dahrendorf associated with communities in the perspective of the group, Dahrendorf theory does not say much about society as individuals. ICA concept implies the statement. But when the conflict turned into a social conflict Pritchard – because of  the support of empathetic communities - then the case can be observed with the Dahrendorf's theory.The writer limits the discussion on the three (3) pillars of  the thought of Dahrendorf, namely, the theory of social conflict, the two communities face - conflict and consensus, and the dialectics of conflict with social change. The social conflict theory of  Dahrendorf  relies on the concept of class. Dahrendorf class concept is based on the basis of positions (roles) and authority. Thus Dahrendorf class is dynamic. Class is not settled on an individual or group, but moved around according to the position, role, and its authority. It appears when the position and authority of Prita and RS. Omni at the beginning and end of the episode.The theory of the two communities face of Dahrendorf clearly found in the case of Prita. How the dialectical relationship between the conflict of Prita who had heat up with the emergence of consensus at the end of the episode. Furthermore, the dialectics of conflict with the social changes also become an interesting phenomenon in the conflict of Prita. What a terrible pounding the conflict rolling like a snowball, so the robustness of the rock of the status-quo of 'the ruler' can be destroyed by 'hypnosis' cases of Prita

    The limitation of human ability to make ethical assessments against each other only a behavioral manifestation of outer (not inner), while that could see farther, with a very high accuracy, the behavior of trajectories and the inner self is only Allah. Therefore, it should be done every human being is always to implement muhasabah al-nafs, the introspection of himself every time. This paper tried to discuss efforts to the discovery of meaning in life through the process tazkiyat al-nafs, the inner actualization muhasabah against human behavior. In Sufi spiritual existence, which is often referred to as al-qalb, is a key determinant of good and bad behavior of human outer side. Therefore, the maintenance of probity and conduct careful management the key to success in living life the human world and the hereafter, to the pleasure of Allah swt. Nafs tazkiyatun process will produce really nice of the life achievements of happiness in this world and the happiness and salvation in the hereafter.     Meta-analysis is motivated by research results that are not in the direction with the relationship of religious orientation of intrinsic, extrinsic, and fundamentalism by racial prejudice, and even sometimes there is evidence to the contrary. The purpose of this study is to integrate the results of research on the relationship of religious orientation of intrinsic, extrinsic, and fundamentalism with the racial prejudice that are so variative.The selection of the studies done in two ways: First, it is done manually, is by way of tracking through the Psychological Association (APA) or through journals in the library of the University of Gadjah Mada (UGM), University in Yogyakarta. Second, tracking the journals can be downloaded via EBSCO, ProQuest, SAGE, and thesis/dissertation obtained from the Networked Digital Library Theses and Dissertations on (NDLTD). Based on the tracking were found seventeen articles, consisting of 38 primary studies.In the analysis, these studies are combined because it was conducted by researchers and research subjects that are the same and the object of prejudice that is different. After the combination, the number of studies that analyzed became 35 studies, it consist of 13 intrinsic orientation, 12 extrinsic, and 10 of fundamentalism.The conclusion of these studies is that there is a negative relationship between intrinsic religious orientation with the racial prejudice, there is a positive relationship between the extrinsic religious orientation with the racial prejudice, and there is a positive relationship between the orientation religious fundamentalism with the racial prejudice

    Department of Economics, Faculty of Shariah Islam has a strategic opportunity to grow and develop into educational institutions that produce a realiable human resource in the field of Islamic economics. However, in the progress of the graduates numbered only 57.121 people or 47% of graduates who obtain employment while the other or 64 graduates (53%) do not get a job. Under such conditions a thorough evaluation of the input, process, out put and outcome of Economics Department of Islamic education must be done before it appears on the existence of stigma perceived Islamic Economics Department can not create quality graduates but could only create unemployment. The purpose of this study is to identify good practices do offer Islamic economics in the development of Islamic Economics Department through the paradigm of input, process, output and outcome research pendidikan. Responden include Students, Faculty, Alumni and Alumni Users. Data analysis using descriptive qualitative. The results recommend to managers of Islamic Economics Department as follows: input paradigm improve the quality of inputs, increase new students with non-academic achievment, improving the compatibility of professional competence of teachers, curriculum improvementin order to accomodate the needs of industry, the head of department more communicative with stakeholders and enhance its position as a motivator, increases content competency-based learning student end. The paradigm of the department to plan activities on a periodic basis and set a measureable output, systematically structure the learning, creative learning model, improve discipline faculty, enhance cooperation, conduct an evaluation of the achievement of the plan periodically. Paradigm output increase graduate GPA, second equip students with competence. Paradigm equip science student outcomes that are relevant to the needs of the industry, to equip students with the moral integrity, professional attitude, entrepreneurship and the ability to adapt quickly to the external environment, equipping students with good language skills, the ability to think conceptually rational, systematic and critical, the ability material presented before the public, negotiation skills, the ability to guide, enhance the ability of students about the contract and Islamic transactions, cost and budgeting, accounting, financial analysis, and computer skilss

    Sebelum wafat (2007), Kyai Luthfi Hakim bin Muslih bin Abdirrahman yang menyerahkan sebuah manuskripYawaqit al-Asani Fi Manaqib al-Syeikh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani kepada Kyai Chumaidi Kendal, salah seorang murid dekat Kyai Muslih untuk menerjemahkannyaSetelah divalidasi oleh Kyai Chumaidi dan Kyai Rofi’i Kebonbatur Mranggen serta sejumlah murid dekat Kyai Muslih lainnya, diyakini bahwa kitab tersebut adalah karya Kyai Muslih. Lalu pada tahun 2009, setelah diterbitkan oleh Karya Toha Putra Semarang, kitab tersebut di-launching disertai dengan ijazah ’ammahPersoalannya, bagaimana menggunakan kitab tersebut, sementara selama ini manaqib yang biasa dibaca adalah al-Lujain al-Dani  karya al-Barzanji. Kyai Muslih sendiri juga sangat menaruh perhatian terhadap kitab ini, dengan menulis terjemahnya dalam dua jilid yang diberinya judul al-Nur al-Burhani.Untuk menjawab persoalan penting ini, perlu dilacak pemikiran tarekat Kyai Muslih dengan menjadikan kitab Yawaqit sebagai core-nya.Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan : Pertama, penyusunan kitab ini terkait dengan upaya beliau untuk menyuguhkan manaqib yang lebih simple pembacaannya, tetapi secara ruhiyah tidak kurang dari manaqib yang telah ada. Kedua, pendekatan interteks, ditemukan, bahwa Yawaqit merupakan media puncak dari pemikiran beliau di bidang tarekat. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh karya-karya beliau di bidang tarekat, mulai dari penulisan al-Nur al-Burhni fi Tarjamah al-Lujain al-Dani dalam dua jilid, Risalah Tuntunan ariqah Qadiriyyah wa Naqsyabandiyah dalam dua jilid, Munajat Qadiriyyah wa Naqsyabandiyyah wa Ad’iyatuha dan al-Futuhat al-Rabbaniyyah.Ketiga, pendekatan sejarah sosial.Dengan pendekatan ini ditemukan bahwa Yawaqit juga merupakan media puncak dari gerakan tarekat beliau.Kesimpulan ini didasarkan pada sejumlah aktifitas beliau, dimulai dari keaktifan beliau bertarekat, keaktifan beliau menjadi mursyid tarekat dan keaktifan beliau dalam organisasi tarekat

    The reseacrh is based on the fact that the existence of afternoon school (Madrasah Diniyah or Madin) in Semarang has been more apprehensive. This condition seems to be paradox to the vision and mission of Semarang government that set the development goals in the religious city of Semarang-based Trade and Services. The purpose of this study is extracting of Madin role in supporting the achievement of national education goal, identifying Madin problem, and formulating a development model of Madin in Semarang as a college community. From this research it is known that 1) the presence of Madin in Semarang has historically been one instrument of religious culture of Semarang. 2) at the time, being Madrasah Diniyah in Semarang have encountered many problems. There are traditional management systems, curriculum and learning process which are stagnant, less up to date and quality of human resources both manager and teaching staff is relatively low and the network community as social capital of Madrasah is not managed optimally. Based on the problem above, the education development of Madrasah Diniyah in Semarang should be oriented toward: 1) improving the quality of graduates, 2) improving the quality of Madrasah Diniyahs’ education, 3) structuring better management system of Madrasah, 4) strengthening maximally the relationship with community, 5) protecting and enforcing Madin both politically and culturally from the government

    This paper discusses the application of internal quality assurance system in the madrasah (Islamic School). This paper concludes that the quality assurance system is a systematic effort to improve the quality of education in a sustainable cycle that is manifested in the form of quality assurance activities to prevent unnecessary mistakes. Quality assurance system has some of the principles underlying the system works. Those Principles are a). Identify customers and their needs. b). Creating quality measurements. c). Plan process to achieve goals. d). The existence of a continuous of progress. In order to create continuous improvement, the head of madrasah (Islamic School) need to apply Deming's wheel consisting of plan, do, check, and act. For those madrasah which has many limitations, the PDCA is run by following the advice of Joseph Juran, namely: First, run a Kaizen, ie step by step improvement. Second, choose a low-cost measures. A good plan should be drawn off from the vision and mission of the madrasah which then are translated into a quality policy and objectives (targets) while considering the quality of customer needs. From the quality objectives specified performance indicators so as to facilitate evaluation. When the indicator has not been as planned, it means that there must be a record of improvement. PDCA cycle never ends, because the continuous improvement should be always sought
