KONTESTASI PEMAKNAAN RITUAL TABUT (PERSPEKTIF IDEOLOGI DAN KEKUASAAN)
There is a contention between the government and the Tabut enthusiast. Through the political and economic power, the government made Tabut as a cultural commodity while Tabut enthusiast continue to maintain the existence of the sacred of the Tabut ritual with the symbolic power they have. The contention should not be a conflict trigger, but understood as a treasure and diversity of thoughts in understanding culture of plural society in Bengkulu. This paper describes the factors that cause contention in the perspective of Islamic communication, ideological theory and power, reasons for diversity in the concept of pluralism can lead to contention of meaning and reasons for discourse and lived culture can be a diversity of thoughts. This research uses ideology and power theory approach, which explains about ideology in Marx’s view, pluralism, discourse, and lived culture. This relation involves ideologies and strengths of each group. It is also creating pluralism that positions the government of Bengkulu as the holder of political and economic power which in the end of gave rise to Tabut Pembangunan as a tourism commodity that aim to improve the community’s economy.Terjadi kontestasi antara pemerintah dan pengikut Tabut. Melalui kekuatan politik dan ekonomi, pemerintah menjadikan Tabut sebagai komoditas budaya sedangkan pengikut Tabut terus menjaga eksistensi kesakralan ritual Tabut dengan kekuatan simbolik yang mereka miliki. Seharusnya kontestasi tidak menjadi pemicu munculnya konflik, namun dipahami sebagai khazanah dan keragaman pemikiran dalam memahami budaya dalam kemajemukan masyarakat di Bengkulu. Artikel ini memaparkan apa saja faktor penyebab kontestasi dalam perspektif teori ideologi dan kekuasaan, mengapa keberagaman dalam konsep pluralisme dapat menyebabkan kontestasi makna, dan mengapa diskursus dan budaya hidup dapat menjadi keragaman pemikiran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan teori Ideology and Power, yang menjelaskan tentang ideologi dalam pandangan Marx, pluralisme, diskursus dan budaya hidup. Kontestasi makna ritual Tabut antara pemerintah dan pengikut Tabut dipengaruhi oleh hubungan ideologi, kekuasaan, pluralisme, serta discourse dan lived cultured. Hubungan ini melibatkan ideologi dan kekuatan masing-masing kelompok. Hal tersebut juga menciptakan pluralisme yang memposisikan pemerintah Bengkulu sebagai pemegang kekuatan politik dan ekonomi, yang pada akhirnya memunculkan Tabut Pembangunan sebagai komoditas pariwisata yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat
PARADIGMA ISLAM PROFETIK: Melacak Nilai-Nilai Moderasi Beragama Dalam Pemikiran Kuntowijoyo
Penelitian ini merupakan analisis terhadap konsep moderasi beragama yang terkandung dalam paradigma Islam yang digagas Kuntowijoyo, yaitu ilmu sosial profetik. Paradigma Islam Kuntowijoyo merupakan epistemologi Islam yang digunakan sebagai metodologi keilmuan Islam dalam memahami teks secara kontekstual dan bertujuan menjadikan agama sebagai basis ilmu sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan, yaitu mengambil data dari sumber kepustakaan seperti dokumen, buku, jurnal dan sebagainya, yang dijabarkan untuk menyusun suatu narasi dalam suatu penelitian. Ada beberapa rumusan masalah yang menjadi fokus penelitian ini, antara lain: 1) menelusuri tipe pemikiran Islam Kuntowijoyo. 2) menjelaskan konsep moderasi beragama. 3) menelusuri nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dalam pemikiran Kuntowijoyo.Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah analisis mengenai konsep moderasi beragama yang terdapat di dalam paradigma Islam yang digagas oleh Kuntowijoyo, yaitu Ilmu sosial profetik. Paradigma Islam Kuntowijoyo merupakan suatu epistemologi Islam yang digunakan sebagai metodologi pengilmuan Islam dalam memahami nas secara kontekstual dan bertujuan untuk menjadikan agama sebagai basis ilmu sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan, yakni mengambil data dari sumber literatur seperti dokumen, buku, jurnal dan sebagainya, yang dielaborasi untuk menyusun narasi dalam sebuah penelitian. Konsep Negara dalam Fiqih Siyasah
The concept of the state and government is an ijtihad that reflects the exploration of rational speculative thought in order to find an intellectual basis for the function and role of the state and government as an instrumental factor for the fulfillment of the interests and welfare of the people both physically and mentally. The state, in terminology, is defined as the highest organization among a group of people who have the aspiration to unite, live in a certain area and have a sovereign government. Fiqh siyasah as one aspect of Islamic law that discusses the regulation and management of human life in the state in order to achieve the benefit of human itself regardless of the reign after the death of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Although in the Qur\u27an there is not a single argument that explicitly commands or obliges Muslims to establish a state. Moreover, even the term state (Daula) is never mentioned in the Qur\u27an, however, the basic elements in society, nation and state, can be found in it. PERAN PEREMPUAN ISLAM DALAM PEMBANGUNAN DESA DI KABUPATEN BONE BOLANGO
Abstract: Seeing the extent to which the role and constraints of Islamic women in village development in Bone Bolango district, Gorontalo Province is interesting to observe. At least because the context of bone bolango is so strong in its customs and Islam that often differentiates women and men. Although in Islam the role of women is not a problem. However, in the context of Gorontalo custom, more specifically in Bone Bolango, there is a place that has a traditional nuance, which women cannot enter. However, there is something that can be said to be an anomaly, namely the presence of women in filling the sub-district office. There are even female deputy district heads who were born from a direct election process. This type of research is Mixed Method Research (MMR) with Explanatory type. The research location is in Bone Bolango district. Using a structuration theory framework approach which includes structure and agency the researcher concludes several things namely women have a big role in village development in Bone Bolango Regency. Structurally, women receive support including significance (stock of knowledge), legitimacy (rules that favor women) and domination (authority/power that is pro-women). In terms of agency/women themselves have the capacity and capability, especially in terms of networking. Even so, it cannot be denied that culture contributes to hindering the role of women.

Beberapa hal menarik diantaranya konteks Bone Bolango yang begitu kuat akan adat dan keislamannya yang sering kali membedakan perempuan dan laki-laki. Walaupun dalam Islam soal peran perempuan tidak menjadi persoalan. Akan tetapi pada konteks adat Gorontalo lebih khususnya Bone Bolango terdapat tempat yang bernuansa adat, tidak bisa dimasuki oleh perempuan. Namun terdapat hal yang bisa dikatakan anomali yakni hadirnya perempuan dalam mengisi jabatan camat. Bahkan terdapat wakil Bupati perempuan yang lahir dari proses pemilihan langsung. Jenis penelitian Mixed Method Research (MMR) dengan tipe Explanatory. Lokasi penelitian di kabupaten Bone Bolango. Menggunakan pendekatan teori strukturasi yang meliputi struktur dan agensi peneliti menyimpulkan beberapa hal yakni perempuan memiliki peran besar dalam pembangunan desa di Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Adapun secara struktur perempuan mendapat dukungan meliputi signifikansi (stock of knowledge), legitimasi (aturan yang berpihak pada Wanita) dan dominasi (otoritas/kekuasaan yang pro terhadap perempuan). Secara agensi/perempuan itu sendiri memiliki kapasitas dan kapabilitas terutama soal jejaring. Walaupun demikian tak dapat dipungkiri budaya memberikan sumbangsih dalam menghambat peran perempuan.

HUMAN FREEDOM IN WILL AND ACT IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF ISLAMIC THOUGHT
The topic of human freedom of will is becoming an increasingly debated topic. The freedom that is being discussed more and more from time to time moves from various thoughts as a benchmark. In Islamic theological thought, interpreting the concept of freedom, there are two different principles, in this case Qadariyah and Jabariyah. Qadariyah\u27s view of human freedom has limitations. While the Jabariyah view which reveals that whatever is done by every human being, it has been written since the beginning before humans were born on earth. It is different from the Western Region\u27s view that freedom is the right of every person or group that gives each other the freedom to determine that freedom. In Islam in general there are many views on freedom. This is in line with what Sheikh Mustafa Al-Ghalayani said that freedom includes individual (person), social (group) economic freedom and political freedom. HABIB, ISLAM DAN OTORITAS KEAGAMAAN: PENERIMAAN MASYARAKAT MUSLIM BANYUWANGI
Abstract: Habib as a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad SAW was accepted as a religious elite group in Banyuwangi. Habib became powerful in informing the congregation. We can find majelis taklim, recitations organized by Habib which tend to have many followers spread over rural or urban areas in Banyuwangi. This study focuses on examining the acceptance of the Muslim community in Banyuwangi to Habib\u27s. This research is qualitative research, interviews, and direct experience of researchers in the Habib group in Banyuwangi after the sources were identified descriptive-analytical. The results showed that the community placed Habib as a preacher, leader of the majelis Taklim, Cultural Broker, Philanthropos, and consoler. This paper concludes that the acceptance of the Muslim community in Banyuwangi is encouraged by Habib having religious authority in spreading power through recitations in attracting the sympathy of the Muslim community.
Abstrak: Habib sebagai seorang keturunan Nabi Muhammad SAW justru diterima sebagai kelompok elite beragama di Banyuwangi. Habib menjadi memiliki daya kuasa dalam membentuk jama’ah. Kita dapat menemukan majelis taklim, pengajian yang diorganisir oleh Habib yang cenderung memiliki banyak pengikut yang tersebar di wilayah pedesaan atau perkotaan di Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini berfokus mengkaji penerimaan masyarakat Muslim terhadap Habib di Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, wawancara dan pengalaman langsung peneliti di kelompok Habib di Banyuwangi setelah sumber diidentifikasi deskriptif-analitis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat menempatkan Habib sebagai pendakwah, leader majelis taklim, Cultural Broker, berjiwa Filantropis dan Ahli konsoler. Tulisan ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerimaan Masyarakat Muslim di Banyuwangi kepada Habib, karena Habib memiliki otoritas keagamaan di dalam menebar kuasa melalui pengajian, majelis taklim dalam menarik simpati masyarakat Muslim
Hijrah anak Punk pada Komunitas Bikers Subuhan Kotamobagu
Street children, including punk youth, are often associated with negative social stigmas such as delinquency, deviance, and public disorder. However, this generalization does not fully capture the lived experiences of punk youth, particularly those involved in the Bikers Subuhan Community in Kotamobagu. This study aims to examine the hijrah process, the factors motivating it, and the transformation of religious behavior among punk youth after joining the community. Employing a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, this research focuses on the subjective experiences and meanings constructed by the participants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, involving former punk youth as primary informants, as well as community leaders and residents as supporting informants. The findings reveal that hijrah is understood as a multilayered and ongoing spiritual transformation, encompassing i‘tiqadiyah hijrah (realignment of faith and intention), fikriyah hijrah (transformation of mindset), syu‘uriyyah hijrah (shifts in preferences and lifestyles), and sulukiyyah hijrah (moral and behavioral transformation). This process unfolds gradually through personal experiences, emotional struggles, and strong community support. Analysis based on Max Weber’s theory of social action indicates that post-hijrah behavioral changes are shaped by the interplay of instrumental rationality, value-oriented rationality, traditional action, and affective action. The study concludes that hijrah among marginalized groups is not merely a symbolic change but a profound reconstruction of identity, life orientation, and social relations, contributing to the strengthening of religious commitment and community solidarity
PRAKTEK TRADISI TONELO DAN MAKNA FILOSOFISNYA PERSPEKTIF HUKUM ISLAM: (Studi Kasus di Kelurahan Tamalate, Kecamatan Kota Timur, Gorontalo)
Abstract Tonelo in the literature of the Gorontalo community is a tradition related to marital issues, namely matters that focus on the issue of the cost of marriage, and this tradition itself has long been practiced by the local community, especially in Tamalate, East Gorontalo City, however the author sees an oddity. tends not to be in accordance with the concepts and principles of Islamic law, among the irregularities of the Tonelo tradition is the cost of the marriage itself which is quite expensive/high, so it is not surprising that it causes a lot of controversy and contradiction which gives quite a lot of implications from positive and even negative aspects. The type of research used in this research is a type of empirical phenomenological legal research that is Field Research, using a qualitative approach, while the research location is in Tamalate, Kota Timur, Gorontalo, with the subject of this research being the Tamalate community itself. Finally, the author concludes that the Tonelo tradition in general is makruh, and may be judged to be permissible if there is an element of pleasure/volunteership between the two parties to the prospective bride and groom, and it can also be said to be unlawful if it turns out that in practice its implementation brings harm, as is the principle of Islamic law which allows every tradition. which brings benefit and vice versa.
Abstrak: Tonelo dalam literatur masyarakat Gorontalo merupakan sebuah tradisi yang berkaitan pada persoalan perkawinan yaitu hal-hal yang menitik beratkan pada persoalan biaya perkawinan, dan tradisi ini sendiri telah lama di praktekan oleh masyarakat setempat terutama di Tamalate Kota Timur Gorontalo, namun demikian penulis melihat adanya kejanggalan yang cenderung tidak sesuai dengan konsep dan prinsip hukum islam, diantara kejanggalan tradisi Tonelo tersebut adalah biaya dari perkawinan itu sendiri yang cukup mahal/tinggi, sehingga tidak heran banyak menimbulkan kontroversi dan kontradiksi yang cukup memberikan banyak implikasi dari aspek positif bahkan negatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian hukum Fenomenologis Empiris yang bersifat Field Research, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, sedangkan lokasi penelitian berada di Tamalate Kota Timur, Gorontalo, dengan subjek penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Tamalate itu sendiri. Akhirnya penulis menyimpulkan bahwa tradisi Tonelo pada umumnya adalah makruh, dan bisa saja dihukumi boleh bilamana terdapat unsur keridhaan/sukela diantara kedua belah pihak calon mempelai, serta dapat pula dikatakan haram bilamana ternyata pada praktek pelaksanaannya mendatangkan kemudharatan, sebagaimana prinsip hukum islam yang membolehkan setiap tradisi yang membawa kemaslahatan dan begitupun sebaliknya
Cultural-Based Da’wah Education: A Study toward Totamma’ Tradition in Pambusuang Village Community of Balanipa District of Polewali Mandar Regency: A Study toward Totamma’ Tradition in Pambusuang Village Community of Balanipa District of Polewali Mandar Regency
This article discusses cultural-based da\u27wah education against Totamma tradition which develops in the Pambusuang Village, Balanipa District, Polewali Mandar Regency. There are main issues studied that are reviewing the arguments how the tradition is strongly vigorous the relationship between cultural values and religion in the Totamma tradition? and what the meaning of content da\u27wah education in it?. This article is part of the qualitative research with phenomenological theory of da\u27wah proposed by Nur Sham became a framework for understanding and analyzing the data. This theory believes that every proselytizing process must be concerned with the purpose internal persuasive and can also be determined by the external persuasive cause. The conclusion of this study refers to three things: First, the tradition of Totamma is an expression of gratitude for children\u27s success in the process of learning to read the Qur\u27an. Second, the relationship between religious and cultural values in the Totamma tradition is accommodative-theologianistic. The three endeavors to embed mental health and motivation to religious teachings are realized in three things, such as the development of children\u27s qualities, the traditional values provision, and the religious emotional cultivation at an early age.

Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana relasi nilai budaya dan agama dalam tradisi totamma’? apa makna pendidikan dakwah pada tradisi tersebut?. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologis dakwah yang digagas oleh Nur Syam, bahwa proses dakwah setiap proses dakwah menyangkut tujuan motif internal dan motif eksternal. Hasil penelitian ini mengkrucut pada tiga hal: Pertama, bahwa tradisi totamma adalah eskpresi kesyukuran atas keberhasilan anak dalam proses belajar membaca al-Qur’an. Kedua, relasi nilai agama dan budaya dalam tradisi totamma’ bersifat akomodatif-teologistik. Ketiga, ikhtiar menanamkan mental dan motivasi terhadap ajaran agama yang terwujud dalam tiga hal yaitu pengembangan kualitas anak, pembekalan nilai tradisi dan penanaman emosional keagamaan sejak dini
HADITS TENTANG DARAH WANITA MENURUT AL-SHAN’ANI: Suatu Telaah Mukhtalaf al-Hadits
Hadith is one of the sources of Islamic law, one of its functions is an explanation of the Qur\u27an. However, because hadiths are not always narrated mutawatir so there are some hadiths that seem contradictory (mukhtalif hadith). The purpose of this study was to determine the method of resolving mukhtalif hadiths about women\u27s blood based on Imam as-Shan\u27ani\u27s view contained in the book of Subul al-Salam. This research is a literature review that uses the book of Subul al-Salam as one of the primary data sources and uses content analysis as the method of analysis. The results showed that Imam Shan\u27ani resolve contradictory hadiths related to women\u27s blood using the al-jam\u27u wa at-taufiq method or compromising the hadiths so that every muslim could practice mukhtalif hadiths customized according to their circumstances.Abstrak
Hadits merupakan salah satu sumber hukum Islam yang salah satu sifatnya sebagai tabyin (penjelas) al-Qur’an. Namun demikian, karena hadits tidak selalunya diriwayatkan secara mutawatir sehingga terdapat beberapa hadits yang nampak kontradiktif (hadits mukhtalif). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui metode penyelesaian haditst mukhtalif tentang darah wanita menurut imam as-Shan’ani yang terdapat dalam kitab Subul al-Salam. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian pustaka yang menjadikan kitab Subul al-Salam sebagai salah satu sumber data primer dan menggunakan analisis isi sebagai metode analisisnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Imam as-Shan’ani dalam menyelesaikan haditst yang nampak bertentangan berkaitan tentang darah wanita dengan metode al-jam’u wa at-taufiq atau mengkompromikan haditst-hadits tersebut sehingga hadits mukhtalif tersebut dapat diamalkan sesuai dengan keadaan masing-masing.
