    The learning process in 2013 curriculum for all levels of education carried out by using a scientific approach (scientific approach). Critical thinking skills and mastery of concepts students need to developed in a learning process that is as capital to criticize a variety of symptoms, problems that arise in the vicinity. The use of instructional media and learning models in physics very aid learners in understanding the concepts of physics. Based on the above, it is necessary to do a literature review on the develop of guided inquiry worksheets with models to improve critical thinking skills and mastery of concepts students. The study began with highlights of LKS and model of guided inquiry. Next, review the empirical research has done about critical thinking. Then the third part discusses the concept mastery. Furthermore, in the fourth part is the end of the literature review. Based on the literature study, the authors conclude that the develop the model of guided inquiry worksheets can used to improve critical thinking skills and mastery of concepts students

    Providing material in theory and experiments in physics learning to students is very important and must be balanced. Besides that students are aware of a concept that has been created by scientists in physics, but also clear and understood the concept both theoretically and experimentally. In this study, will compare student learning outcomes after a given learning in real experiments and simulation experiments on simple harmonic motion of the subject.Data collection method used is the questionnaire method tests. Test method consists of pretest and posttest are used to determine students' learning achievement physics. Test instruments used are validity with product moment correlation technique, reliability testing with formula Kuder-Richardson 20 (KR-20), difficulty level test, and test different power. For the prerequisite data analysis in this study to test for normality using the formula Chi-Square and homogeneity test using Bartlett's test. The data obtained are then processed with the hypothesis test using t-test formula.The results of data analysis showed that there are significant differences between real experimental learning methods with experimental simulation of the physics students' achievement of learning comprehension. This is indicated by the acquisition of the t value of 2.460 while ttable at 5% significance level with 32 degrees of freedom is 1.691. The increase in the average score of student achievement (posttest) showed that student achievement using real experimental method 1.77 higher than on student achievement using simulation experiments 0.74, so the proposed hypothesis can be accepted.

    The purpose of this study was 1. To know potential of different citrus fruit juice varieties into electricity. 2. To know juice of citrus varieties that have the potential to be superior in electrical 3. To know piece of research that can be used as a learning resource. 4. To know learning resources that can be generated from the research. The place is a laboratory study was conducted of science, University of Muhammadiyah Metro May 25, 2014. Oranges juice were taken from five different varieties are citrus, lime, tangerine, grapefruit, and lime. There are three variations of existing experiments in the study of differences in varieties, differences in the distance between the electrodes, and the difference in volume. There are five treatments and five repetitions in this experiment. In the process the research data used ANOVA analysis of non-parametric Kruskal Wallis test. The experimental results showed that the juice that comes from different varieties have different potentials in into electricity. Lemon juice is the most superior varieties as electricity. Part of research that can be used as a learning resource that the pH value of each citrus varieties, the use of digital multitester, and the voltage generated. The results of this study can benefit as a learning resource in the form of worksheets.

Base on the result of research, expert test to feasibility and easy to understand the material at 79,2%, and student’s respons in the school to teaching material at 81,9%. Sebagian besar peserta didik beranggapan bahwa fisika itu kaku dan membosankan. Kenyataan ini di pertajam dengan cara guru dalam melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran yang terkesan kaku. Pembelajaran fisika akan lebih terasa menyenangkan jika peserta didik kita arahkan dalalm proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan permainan. Harapan dengan adanya permainan dalam pembelajaran adalah terciptanya susana yang menyenangkan sehingga menjadikan peserta didik menjadi bersemanagat dan suka terhadap mata pelajaran fisika.     Have performed experiments to compare the surface tension of water by the surface tension of alcohol use food dye. The research method is to perform a simple test. With a drop of food dye into water will make the water molecules become larger and when alcohol was dropped into the solution there will be a tug between water and alcohol with water or with alcohol-called cohesion. Tug between different molecules such as water to alcohol is called adhesion. Cohesion of water molecules is greater than the cohesion of the alcohol molecules. Cohesion of water is also greater than the adhesion between the two fluids. Competition between cohesion and adhesion molecules of water and alcohol lead to mutual attraction between water and alcohol resulting in vibrations when the fluid is met. The results obtained when this trial is water that has spilled food dye will move away from the alcohol and water colored parts that come into contact with alcohol will vibrate

    The research of any where founded majority students have common difficulties in abstract physics concept. The result of observation, lecturers have problem  in teaching implementation of abstract concepts on physics learning. The objective of this research is to find out the ways how to overcome this problem. The research place of  physics education programs and senior high school. The data are colected by quetionere, observation and interview. The lecturer behavior to making out this case is use of analogy to make concrete a abstract concept. This action is true, because the analogies are dynamic tools that facilitate understanding, rather than representations of the correct and static explanations. Using analogies not only promoted profound understanding of abstract concept, but also helped students overcome their misconceptions. However used analogy in teaching not yet planed with seriousness, analogy used spontanously with the result that less optimal. By planing and selecting right analogy, the role of analogy can be achieved the optimal result. Therefore, it is important to maping analogies of abstract consepts on physics learning

    The purposeofthis studyis: to describethe use ofexperimental method sin enhancingthe activity oflearning physicsclass VII students of SMPN1Purbolinggoandto describethe use ofexperimentalmethodsin improvingstudentlearning outcomesphysicsclass VII SMP N 1 Purbolinggo.This study uses a Class Action Research and 4-cycle stages: planning, action, observation and reflection for further action. The study lasted 2 cycles each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. As the subjects in this study were VII.F grade students of SMP N 1 Purbolinggo of 40 people. Means of collecting data in the form of sheets of observations and tests. From the analysis and the results of this study concluded that the use of experimental methods in the learning process can improve the activity and student learning outcomes VII.F SMP N 1 Purbolinggo on the material and temperature measurements with an average of 11.56% increase in activity. Average learning outcomes increased by 55%. Thus it can be advisable for teachers to improve the activity and student learning outcomes using experimental methods
