PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN MODEL INKUIRI UNTUK MELATIHKAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS DAN PENGUASAAN KONSEP SISWA SMP
The research aims to develop inquiry learning materials to facilitate science process skills and science concept mastery the junior high school students in energy and works matter. The research was conducted through two phase that is development phase by using 4-D models and implementation phase using one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection methods used test and observation, while the data analysis techniques using inferential parametric, quantitative descriptive, and qualitative descriptive. The result were obtained: the devices that have been developed are generally categorized as well; RPP performing well; activity is the dominant doing observation; The results also showed that mean of N-gain score mastery of concepts in high category; science process skills in high category; students mastery of the concept after learning improving; students responses to learning a positive model of inquiry. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the develop inquiry learning materials effective that can be applied in learning activities in grade VIII of SMP
PENERAPAN MODEL CHALLENGE BASED LEARNING DENGAN METODE EKSPERIMEN DAN PROYEK DITINJAU DARI KEINGINTAHUAN DAN SIKAP ILMIAH TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA
The purposes of the research were to know the effect of challenge based learning (CBL) model by experiments method and project, learning of inquiring and scientific attitude and their interaction towards students’ achievement in cognitive, affective and psychomotoric. Data was collected using test technique for cognitive, non test technique for affective, psikomotoric, learning motivation, learning activity, and obsevation sheet is used for affective and psychomotoric. The data were analyzed by using anova test through software PASW 18. Based on the analysis of the data concluded: 1) there was effect of CBL model by experiments method and project toward cognitive, affective and psychomotoric towards students’ achievement; 2) there was an effect of learning inquiring towards cognitive and affective students’ achievement, but there was no effect towards psychomotoric students’ achievement; 3) there was an effect of scientific attitude toward cognitive students’ achievement, but there was no effect toward affective and psychomotoric students’ achievement; 4) there was no an interaction between CBL model by experiments method and project method with learning inquiring toward cognitive, affective and psikomotoric student’ achievement; 5) there was no an interaction between CBL model by experiments method and project method with scientific attitude toward cognitive, affective and psychomotoric students’ achievement; 6) there was no an interaction between learning inquiring with scientific attitude toward cognitive, affective and psychomotoric students’ achievement; 7) there was no an interaction between CBL model by experiments method and project with learning inquiring and scientific attitude toward cognitive, affective and psychomotoric students’ achievement
ANALISIS KESULITAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP ALAT OPTIK PADA SISWA KELAS VIII SEMESTER GENAP SMP NEGERI 3 METRO TAHUN PELAJARAN 2012/2013
The purpose of this research to know form of difficulties were experienced by students looked form cognitive domain and questionsettlement stage. The subject of this research was student of grade VIIIc of junior high school 3 Metro academic year 2012/2013 the total of 33 students. Data capture technique used essay test. Data analysis was done by qualitative by identification, tabulation, describtion, and interpretationsteep. Base on analysis can be knowed that the most dominant difficulties were looked from question settlement stage that was operated stage the rules or the laws as much as 73%. Students difficulties were looked from coqtinive domain in ability stage such as knowledge, comprehension, application, and analysis. Difficulties in cognitive domain the most dominant wasexperienced by students are in analysis ability stage as much as 91%. To overcome the difficulties, the teacher is adviced in order that learning the most important to physic concept are felt difficult, that are aplication stage and analysis.
