Rancang Bangun Alat Pemantau Kualitas Udara Sekitar Berbasis Mikrokontroler AVR ATMega 8 Dengan Penampil Dot Matrix
Air pollution recently has attained an apprehension level, in line with the speed of vehicle production and industrial development. Air quality monitoring system that can display air condition, temperature and humidity is expected to be one solution in overcoming bad impact of air pollution problems. This research is aimed to produce an air quality and condition monitoring system device using gas sensor TGS-2600 and SHT11 for sensing temperature and humidity variables. Data from sensors are processed using AVR AT Mega 8 and Basic Stamp-2e microcontrollers, whereas information display using dot matrix circuit. The final result is a monitoring system device which can display air quality and condition data on its dot matrix display. Information displayed in form of running text: temperature in Celcius unit humidity in percent RH unit, and air quality refer to concentration level of one type of gas pollutant i.e. carbon monoxide concentration
Peningkatan Citra Termogram untuk Klasifikasi Kanker Payudara berbasis Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS)
The application of pattern recognition is related to bioinformatics of medicine, image pattern recognition of illness or analysis of disease. The aim of this study is to measure the accuracy of thermogram images using Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) method with and without image processing. Image processing has several steps technique. First step is image pre-processing with wiener filter, histogram equalization, and region growing methods. The second step of image processing is statistical feature extraction. Several values extracted from thermograms. The last step is classification by ANFIS method. This study uses 60 breast thermogram samples with Fluke Ti20 Thermal Camera as acquisition. These samples divided into three classes that are normal thermogram, early breast cancer thermogram, and advanced breast cancer thermogram. From this research that has been done can be proved that ANFIS method without image processing giving an error value 0,6395 in the influence range 0.5 and decreased error value 0,4199 with image processing method in the same influence range

This research designs a remote monitoring and controlling water level via Internet using a Web-based programming language Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP). The system utilize micro controller and data communication using Universal Serial Asynchronous Receiver-Transmitter (USART). The ultrasonic sensors is used to detect water lever and send the data from sensor to the microprocessor. Then the micro controller sends the data to serial port via USART communications. Furthermore the PHP program reads data in serial port and displays water level through a web page

Disturbance that often happen with network that put in distribution 20 kV. This disturbance caused by lightning, animal and tree that hit by electrical power disturbed or having extinct. As protection from that disturbance, attached protection system from distribution system or tranmission system and generator, such as ground fault relay to protect phase disturbance to the ground. Calculation of short circuit current fault for relay coordination protection need not only for one spot fault, but only current contribution from source that flow to the disturbance spot. Case study of this research is applicated to value setting in GI Pauh Limo that is 0,3 while in analysis calculation for value setting in BLKI feeder and KANDIS found that the value is 0,32 and 0,3 with disturbance spot location in 100 percents from each network feeder. Analisis Performansi Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) Yang Disebabkan Oleh Wideband Effect Loss Pada Jaringan UMTS
Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) is the forthcoming global mobile network for packet data. This network uses the Wideband Code Division MultIPle Access (WCDMA) air interface. Contrary to other Radio Networks like GPRS, most of UMTS applications will be end-to-end applications and as a result the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) will be used. In a wireless environment that used radio channel, mobile users can make the performance of system decrease. The influence of multIPath (Rayleigh fading) was calculated by MatLab software. The result from MatLab trace used in NS-2 environment to looking for the performance of UMTS system that used HSDSCH channel. The result of simulation have done, the performance of UMTS system HSDSCH channel that influence with radius user from node B, the number of user in cell, the moving of users, shadowing, multIPath, and Rayleigh fading. The best performance result was received if the radius of users is near from node B (300m), moreless if radius users from node B is far, so the performance will be decrease
PERANCANGAN KONTROL DAN MONITORING KECEPATAN MOTOR DC MELALUI JARINGAN INTRANET
Perkembangan aplikasi yang menggunakan mikrokontroler semakin berkembang pesat, diantaranyaaplikasi mikrokontroler sebagai alat kontrol dan monitoring suatu proses dalam industri, untuk mengontrol danme-monitoring dalam jarak jauh dapat digunakan berbagai media komunikasi diantaranya adalah jaringanintranet/ internet. Jaringan intranet/ internet mempunyai keunggulan dapat dijadikan sebagai media transmisiberbagai data dari berbagai peralatan dan mempunyai jangkauan yang luas. Pada makalah ini dibahas tentangperancangan sistem kontrol dan monitoring kecepatan motor DC melalui jaringan intranet. Sistem dibuatmenggunakan mikrokontroler jenis AVR, agar mikrokontroler dapat berfungsi sebagai server yang mempunyaialamat IP sendiri yang dapat berkomunikasi secara lansung melalui jaringan intranet dengan suatu komputermaster kontrol maka diperlukan suatu IC kontroler. IC W3100A digunakan sebagai kontroler ini yang dapatmenerapkan protokol TCP/IP didalamnya. Pada komputer master kontrol dibuat program client yang akanmengirim data setting dan menerima data monitoring kecepatan motor dari mikrokontroler. Untuk mempercepatrespon perubahan kecepatan motor terhadap nilai setting kecepatan dan meminimalkan error kecepatan motormaka sistem yang dibuat menerapkan sistem kontrol tertutup dengan PID sebagai kontrolernya
