Get PDFThe novel Stimmen der Nacht by Thomas Ziegler, with its two versions of 1984 and 1993, constitutes an important chapter in the discussion on German reunification, read through the key of uchronia. Indeed, in the first version, Stimmen der Nacht represents the victory of the Third Reich in the Second World War as a speculative hypothesis, an absolute nightmare averted once and for all in the real history; in the second version, however, after the Wende, the reawakening of German nationalism re-proposes that danger which seemed definitively relegated to the past. Our article retraces the themes of the novel and discusses its topicality.Il romanzo Stimmen der Nacht di Thomas Ziegler, con le sue due versioni del 1984 e del 1993, costituisce un capitolo importante della discussione sulla riunificazione tedesca, letta attraverso la chiave dell’ucronia. Nella prima versione, infatti, Stimmen der Nacht rappresenta la vittoria del Terzo Reich nella seconda guerra mondiale come un’ipotesi speculativa, un incubo assoluto e scongiurato una volta per sempre; nella seconda versione, invece, dopo la Wende, il risveglio del nazionalismo tedesco avvicina pericolosamente quel pericolo che sembrava definitivamente scongiurato. No full textMickiewicz’s A History of the Future was never written down, and we have only a few texts that arose in the frame of the poet’s project. However, A History of the Future exerted a powerful and long-lasting influence on Polish culture. After a sketch of the fragmentary contents, drawn according to Pigoń and Skwarczyńska, the main aim of this paper is to highlight the importance of Mickiewicz’s project in the history of Polish literature and culture. Stressed are some aspects of utopian and dystopian thought, as well as the interest of Mickiewicz and other Polish Romantics in scientific and technical achievements.La Storia del Futuro di Mickiewicz non fu mai messa per iscritto e ne restano solo alcuni abbozzi e frammenti, nati nel quadro del progetto creativo del poeta. In ogni caso, la Storia del Futuro esercitò una forte e duratura influenza sulla cultura polacca. Dopo avere tracciato un rapido quadro dei frammentari contenuti , basandoci soprattutto sugli studi di Pigon e Skwarczynska, mi sono riproposto principalmente di mettere in luce nel presente lavoro il significato e l'importanza del progetto di Mickiewicz nella storia della letteratura e cultura polacca. Vengono così messi inrilievo alcuni aspetti di pensiero utopico e distopico presenti nell'opera, come pure l'interesse, assai vivo in Mickiewicz e in altre grandi figure del Romanticismo polacco, per i risultati raggiunti dalla scienza e dalla tecnica
La prima fantascienza russa: Fedorov, Ciolkovskij, Brjusov
Get PDFThe essay examines the relations between Russian modernism, in particular the work of Valerij Brjusov, and the philosophy of Nikolaj Fedorov and his follower and popularizer K. Ciolkovskij. The analysis of Brjusov’s cosmist view, as it expressed in poetry and prose, is preceded by an excursus on the origin of Russian science fiction. In an unpublished article entitled “The Boundaries of Fantasy”, Brjusov offers one of the first science fiction’s theory.In the post-revolutionary period Russian cosmism is expressed by the notion of the conquest of space, which lays the foundations of Soviet science fiction. The symbolist poet Brjusov, one of the few to welcome the October revolution, follows this evolution in his sci-fi prose.Il saggio indaga le relazione tra il modernismo russo, in particolare l'opera di V. Brjusov, e la filosofia di Nikolaj Fedorov e del suo divulgatore K. Ciolkovskij. L'analisi dei testi, in prosa e in versi, del poeta simbolista è preceduta da un breve excursus sulle origini della fantascienza russa. Brjusov è uno dei primi teorici russi della fantascienza, che definisce come genere nell'articolo inedito "I confini della fantastika". Nel periodo post-rivoluzionario il cosmismo russo si manifesta soprattutto nella idea della conquista dello spazio cosmico, alla base della fantascienza sovietica. Brjusov, uno dei pochi ad aderire alla rivoluzione d'Ottobre, segue nella sua opera questa evoluzione

Intervenir la ciudad: el desplazamiento del sujeto poético en 5 metros de poemas de Carlos Oquendo de Amat
Get PDFThis article aims to analyze the representation of urban experience in the poetry collection "5 metros de poemas" (1927) by Carlos Oquendo de Amat. Specifically, it reflects on the questioning that arises from the poetic subject's act of moving through the city. The objective is to understand how the impact of modern experience is represented artistically and ideologically through metaphors related to this act. To this end, the ideological positioning of the Andean avant-garde and its connections with reflections on modernity will first be explored. Additionally, the analysis of the poems will be complemented by Michel de Certeau's perspectives on displacement to understand how the poetic subject of these poems presents a critical appeal regarding urban experience. It concludes that, through the journey, the poetic subject is positioned as an infant confronting the changes in the city, and from this perspective, it criticizes the elimination of individuality as a product of modernity.En este artículo se busca analizar la representación de la experiencia urbana en el poemario 5 metros de poemas (1927) de Carlos Oquendo de Amat. En particular, se reflexiona sobre el cuestionamiento que produce el acto de desplazamiento del sujeto poético por la ciudad. El objetivo es comprender cómo se representa el impacto de la experiencia moderna a nivel artístico e ideológico mediante las metáforas alusivas a este acto. Para ello, primero se explorará el posicionamiento ideológico de la vanguardia andina y sus vínculos con la reflexión sobre la modernidad. Asimismo, se complementará el análisis de los poemas desde lo planteado sobre el desplazamiento por Michel de Certeau para comprender cómo el sujeto poético de estos poemas presenta una apelación crítica sobre la experiencia urbana. Se concluye que, mediante el recorrido, el sujeto poético es posicionado como un infante que confronta los cambios de la urbe y, desde esta mirada, se critica la eliminación de la individualidad como producto de la modernidad
Bergson y Mariátegui: una concepción del tiempo para Indoamérica
Get PDFThe following work aims to assert that in José Carlos Mariátegui thought there is an influence of Henri Bergson regarding his conception of time. For the Amauta, this way of understanding temporality is what allows him to create and build a new way of understanding concrete reality, in which his critique of both national and international capitalist society unfolds. Time for Mariátegui is constructed as something creative, as he draws from Bergsonian duration, which itself thrives on spontaneity and freedom in the imperishable present moment. This present moment does not merely act as a reenactment of the past or a utopian image of the future, but rather as constant creation. Bergson emerges as one of the many authors who influenced the Amauta, but we consider him the most relevant concerning the concept of time, particularly in relation to the idea of a socialist revolution.El siguiente trabajo tiene como objetivo afirmar que en el pensamiento de José Carlos Mariátegui existe la influencia de Henri Bergson en lo relacionado a su concepción de tiempo. Para el Amauta, esta forma de comprender la temporalidad es la que le permite crear y construir una nueva manera de entender la realidad concreta en la cual se desarrolla su crítica a la sociedad capitalista tanto nacional como internacional. El tiempo, para Mariátegui, se construye como algo creativo, ya que vive de la duración bergsoniana, y esta última vive de la espontaneidad y la libertad en un momento presente imperecedero, que no actúa como la reactualización del pasado y a una imagen utópica de futuro, sino en tanto creación constante. Así, Bergson se presenta como uno de los tantos autores que influenciaron al Amauta, pero consideramos que es el más relevante en lo que concierne al tiempo, que es donde se da la idea de una revolución socialista
