Other Possible Worlds (Theory, Narration, Thought)

    Get PDF
The issue Other Possible Worlds (Theory, Narration, Thought) aims to investigate fiction and its frontiers, objects of critical and theoretical attention, starting from the central position they occupy in the conceptual, aesthetic, and methodological debate - for the 20th Century as well as at the beginning of the 21st. The boundaries between fiction and non-fiction disclose connections with the invention of possible worlds in literary and artistic texts in general: utopias, eutopias, dystopias, and anti-utopias, whose peculiar strategies make them identifiable in representations and writings. The sheer number of studies and investigations focused on the relationship between fact and fiction in the last decades calls for a multidisciplinary dialogue to deepen the different meanings, messages, and aesthetic forms developed, especially in the literary field

La ortografía indoamericana de Francisco Chuquihuanca Ayulo y Julián Palacios en “la bengansa de adan” y “ADAN” de Antero Peralta Vásquez

    Get PDF
In this paper, we analyze the points in common among the “Kehshwa-Aymara scientific alphabet” by Chuquihuanca and Palacios, the letters that Chuquihuanca addressed to Gamaliel Churata, his article published in La Sierra and two versions of the story “la bengansa de adan” and “ADAN” by Antero Peralta Vásquez. The characteristics of the syentifiqo alphabet and its assimilation by Antero Peralta are studied through the analysis of recent research on this pedagogical and poetic proposal. As a result, it is evident that Chuquihuanca and Palacios proposed an eduqatiba i bangwardista writing that synthetically represents the pronunciation of Andean speech, as a truly mestizo language. In Antero Peralta's story, the utopian force of myths immersed in community memory was rescued to express revolutionary ideas. In conclusion, Indo-American spelling reincorporates and rewrites the past to update collective memory in the face of static and stereotyped identity approaches.

    Hermeneutics

    Get PDF
The relationship between philosophy, hermeneutics and pedagogy can be investigated from two main perspectives: the first, according to a historical-epistemological framework of passages and contaminations at a theoretical level between the hermeneutic element and pedagogical reflection, thus remaining within the philosophy of education. The second perspective is instead a heuristic reading of the relationship between the disciplines, which envisages reading how hermeneutics, especially in its declination known in the literature as "hermeneutic pedagogy", not only reflects on the foundations of this intersection, but also poses itself as a tool for research and action. Thus hermeneutic pedagogy is not only a philosophy of education, but also a 'science' of education. This contribution intends to investigate both perspectives by reporting and commenting on some of the main interpretations advanced in Italy at an academic level. This study is presented as a critical and guided review of some texts by Italian authors who have found in the relationship between hermeneutics and pedagogy their field of interest and research. The relationship between philosophy, hermeneutics and pedagogy can be investigated from two main perspectives: the first, according to a historical-epistemological framework of passages and contaminations at a theoretical level between the hermeneutic element and pedagogical reflection, thus remaining within the philosophy of education. A Time for Wonder, a Space for Reading

    Get PDF
The present paper returns the results of a project conducted in the “Germana Stefanini" Women's Prison in Rome. The initiative has had various editions with the aim of enhancing the benefits of books and reading in the prison context to promote paths of empowerment and redemption. The use of special texts (silent books or wordless picture books) and the methodological choices allowed the participants to experience a time of wonder and to consider beauty in all its forms as a resource for redefining their own identity. The space of punishment has thus been transformed into a valuable opportunity for learning outside the homologating and depersonalising logic of the disciplinary device, also in contrast with the stereotypes that still condition the biographies of many women. The present paper returns the results of a project conducted in the “Germana Stefanini” Women's Prison in Rome. Corpus senza Heimat. Sulla mitizzazione letteraria dell’iconosfera absburgica

    Get PDF
The present contribution intends to probe the literary mythification of the Habsburg iconosphere. The exposition spreads through the Heimat-less texts of the authors orphaned by the dissolution of Austria-Hungary (Hermann Broch, Franz Kafka, Robert Musil…), pivoting primarily on Joseph Roth’s novels. The analyzed texts distinguish themselves for the manifest ideological function of the mythification’s process.Il presente contributo intende sondare la mitizzazione letteraria dell’iconosfera absburgica. La lettura si dispiega fra i testi senza Heimat degli autori orfani dell’Austria-Ungheria (Hermann Broch, Franz Kafka, Robert Musil…), gravitando segnatamente attorno all’opera romanzescah Roth. di Jose
