The Società Canottieri Ichnusa of Cagliari, founded in 1891, serves as an exemplary model of how a sports community can be considered a heritage community, dedicated to preserving and transmitting its cultural value. Its involvement in the ‘Monumenti Aperti’ event, along with the use of archaeological research methodologies and citizen science, has enabled the club to enhance its historical heritage. This initiative has strengthened the connection between sports, culture, and the city, demonstrating how sports organizations can contribute to the broader cultural landscape.
Previous investigations are the origin of the exceptional discovery of two Punic handmade bowls in the hypogeum of Smirat. The particularity of these two vases is the presence of a Neopunic inscription incised on the external surface. These texts were considered enigmatic in previous publications. Our work is an attempt to discern and analyze them. The proposals of reading aim mostly to demonstrate the complexity of these documents and to initiate a debate around some epigraphic reflections. The main objective of this work, in addition to understand those epigraphic documents, is to highlight the importance of these inscriptions marginalized due to the importance accorded to classical Punic texts.
The analysis of the iconography of protohistoric Sardinia highlights the existence of various bread representations. In particular the 27 known bronze figurines of bread-offerers illustrate the variety of products of the era (flatbreads, stuffed breads, sweets), suggest preparation techniques, and underscore the important value of bread and its connection to the sacred sphere and cultic practicesL’analisi dell’iconografia della Sardegna protostorica ha evidenziato l’esistenza di varie rappresentazioni di pane.
This paper proposes a morpho-typological analysis of oil lamps from sector Delta in the southern part of the ex-area militare of Nora, Sardinia. Its goal is to provide data establishing the chronological period during which the large building complex was in use and to construct a fuller picture of the role of Nora in Mediterranean trade during the Roman era.
Editor's Introduction
It was recently announced that China has launched the world’s first AI-powered hospital, the “Agent Hospital”, designed and developed by Tsinghua University in Beijing. The facility has 14 AI doctors and four virtual nurses capable of providing the most advanced healthcare solutions. In fact, it is expected that AI doctors will be able to diagnose and treat a very large number of patients in a much shorter time than human doctors: it is estimated that they can treat up to 3,000 patients per day. This is a real step forward in medical technology, leading to greater efficiency in the healthcare sector and even greater precision in the prevention and treatment of diseases, as AI doctors have already demonstrated an accuracy rate of over 93% in medical examinations, raising the standards of success..

Peaceful Alliances: The Collocative Policy of friþ- in Old Germanic Poetry
This article examines the collocative behaviour of the Old English term friþ- ‘peace’, ‘protection’, and its Old Saxon and Old Norse cognates across the poetic traditions preserved in these languages. Building on the methodological framework established by Maria Elena Ruggerini, the study identifies and analyses the co-occurring words (collocates) structured around FRITH-, mapping their alliterative, semantic, and phonological features across time and corpora. Particular attention is given to the role of homophony, paronomasia, and formal patterning in shaping inherited pairings and enabling context-specific innovations.
The article also explores the thematic range of these collocations, which encompass notions of peace, protection, and divine favour, as well as their absence, and demonstrates how such terms were reconfigured within different cultural, theological, and poetic frameworks.
Through a comparative analysis of Old English, Old Saxon, and Old Norse material, the study offers insights into the combinatorial logic underlying Germanic versification and affirms the value of collocative inquiry as a means of tracing both continuity and transformation in the early Germanic poetic lexicon
