    ANXIETY REDUCTION EFFORTS TO MOTHER WITH BABY IN HIGH RISK PERINATAL ROOM THROUGH THERAPEUTIC COMMUNICATION

    Mothers will experience anxiety when a baby has a critical health condition and should be treated in intensive care. The purpose of this study to analyze the effect of therapeutic communication in decreasing mothers anxiety levels with infant in high-risk perinatal. The research design was pre-experimental one group pre-post test design. Population is mothers with babies who were treated in a high-risk perinatal, as many as  20 respondents, samples were taken with a total sampling method for a month, data taken through a structured interview. Given intervention is therapeutic communication with the variable being measured maternal anxiety. Analyst with the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test with α£0.05. The results showed maternal anxiety levels before treatment were 50% and 65% after light treatment, and the results of statistical test obtained p = 0.001 which showed there is significant effect of giving therapeutic communication in reducing maternal anxiety. It was concluded that giving therapeutic communication by nurses can reduce the level of mothers anxiety with babies in intensive care

    Nursing is a form of professional service that is based on nursing tips. Nursing tips are an interpersonal relationship process and an interaction between nurse and patient in social environment during nursing care given. One of Nursing tips is nurse’s caring, when if it is done properly and according to the standards, it can improve the quality of nursing services. The study was conducted to analyze the relation between nurse’s caring tips and quality of treatment service at inpatient Installation Kediri Baptist Hospital. The design was cross sectional design. The population included patients in Class 2 and Class 3A at inpatient Installation Kediri Baptist Hospital. The total sample of 96 respondents taken based on the inclusion criteria. The independent variable was nurse’s caring tips. The dependent variable was quality of treatment service. Data were collected using structural questionnaire. Then data were analyzed using Spearman’s Rho test with significance level of 0,05. The results obtained tips of  nurses caring related to quality of care with p = 0,000 and r = 0,675 and constituted positive correlation.It was concluded that the tips of good caring nurses can improve the quality of nursing care at Baptist Hospital Kediri.

    Everyone has experienced stress and become motivated to do coping mechanism. The purpose of this study to analyze the relationship between stress and coping mechanisms of the menstrual cycle disorders. The design used was cross sectional. The populations were grade IV  student at STIKES RS Baptis Kediri. The samples were 35 respondents using purposive sampling. The independent variable was coping mechanism. The dependent variable was level of stress towards period disorders. Data  were collected through questionnaires and observation. The analysis using "logistic regression" tests with significance level a ≤ 0.05 the result P=0.767 it means between levels of stress and coping mechanisms are not related, for the stress levels with menstrual cycle disorders obtained P=0.018 there is a relationship the level of stress and menstrual cycle disorders. The conclusion, the coping mechanisms not related to the level of stress but the stress levels related to menstrual cycle disorders for student grade IV at STIKES RS. Baptis Kediri

    THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SLOW STROKE BACK MASSAGE IN DECREASING BLOOD PRESSURE ON HYPERTENSION’S PATIENT

    Hypertension walk slowly and not experienced until someone get significant organ problem. One of nursing interventions is slow stroke back massage. Objective of this research was to analyze the influence slow stroke back massage toward the change of blood pressure on hypertension’s at Puskesmas Pembantu Blabak Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pesantren 1 Kota Kediri. Design of this research was pre experiment. Population was the hypertension’s patient. Samples were 24 respondents on purposive sampling. Variable was blood pressure. Data was collected using mercurial sphygmomanometer, for know the influence slow stroke back massage using wilcoxon with significant level α < 0.05. Result of research showed that blood pressures significantly decrease. Slow stroke back massage can decrease blood pressure; with maximal value of systolic were 8.00 mmHg and 24.00 mmHg. Conclusion of this research was there was significant slow stroke back massage toward decreasing of blood pressure, easy to practice, simple using and cheap

    THE FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE MOTHER'S BEHAVIOR IN GIVING FOOD COMPLEMENT OF BREAST MILK FOR BABY IN AGE 6 - 36 MONTH

    Food complement of breast milk is food that contain nutrient, giving to child in age 6–36 months to complete nutrient requirement. Giving that food is precisely influenced by mother’s behavior who have baby. The objective of the research to prove the factors that influence mother’s behavior in giving food complement breast milk to child in age 6–36 months.The design of the research was correlation. The population was all mother who have children in age 6–36 months at Posyandu Mawar I Karangrejo village. The samples were 32 respondents using random sampling. The independent variable was the factors that influence of mother’s behavior. The dependent variable was giving food complement of breast milk. The data was collected using questionnaire and interview, and then analyzed using multiple logistic regression with significance level 0,025. The result of statistical test showed mother’s knowledge p=0,020, it mean  influence mother’s behavior in giving food complement of breast milk. The conclusion of this research that the occupation factor and social economy had no influence mother’s behavior in giving food complement of breast milk, but mother’s knowledge had influence mother’s behavior in giving food complement of breast milk at Posyandu Mawar I Karangrejo village

    NURSE INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS INFLUENCE THE INCREASING OF PATIENT SATISFACTION

    In nursing practice, communication is a means of developing relationships nurses and patients, and may affect the level of satisfaction of patients to health care that is given. The purpose this research was to study the effects of nurse interpersonal communication toward patient at Baptist Hospital Kediri. The design of this study was cross-sectional with the independent variable was nurse interpersonal communication and the dependent variable was level of patient satisfaction. Population of this study was patients IRNA Class 3 RS. Baptist Kediri, it was obtained  96 patients, using  proposive sampling technique. Statistical analysis using Spearman's rho test with α ≤ 0.05. The results obtained were good nurses interpersonal communication, while the level of patient satisfaction with the services of nursing is very satisfied, statistical tests obtained p = 0.000 means that there is an influence on the level of interpersonal communication in patient satisfaction IRNA Class 3 RS. Baptist Kediri. Concluded that if the interpersonal communication skills of high nurse patient will be more satisfied

    COMMUNITY MIDWIFERY CARE COMPETENCIES RELATED TO IMPLEMENT OF CARE COMMUNITY

    One of the measurement on the qualification of higher education is the presence of relevance between the product resulted and the needs of the community as its client.  The purpose of this study was to analyze the relevance (relationship) between the mastery of knowledge competency of community midwifery care and Public Health Sciences. This type of this  research is with cross-sectional approach using proportionate stratified random sampling technique, has been conducted to 40 respondents D-3 midwifery graduates who served as rural midwife and implemented PHN programs in the village. Competence variable and ability to implement PHN programs were measured by questionnaire witha Likert scale of 1−5. Statistical tests using Pearson Correlation. The results of this study showed that the correlation between the mastery of knowledge competency of community midwifery care and Public Health Sciences. The correlation between community Midwifery care skills with the ability to implement PHN was not meaningful and very low, the attitude towards PHN with the ability to implement PHN had a very strong and meaningful correlation p <0.05. The conclusion of this study showed that positive midwives’ attitude toward PHN efforts and midwives’ ability to implement PHN have very strong and meaningful relevance

    Customer Relationship Management supports a company in providing service to customers in real time and builds a relationship with each customer through the usage of customer’s information. Customer Relationship Marketing is a process to manage detailed information about individual customers and all customer points in order to manage the detailed information of each customer. The design of this study was observational by conducting market research. The respondents were 60 patients and 15 employees of Obstetrics and Gynecology Ward. Study of Customer Relationship Management and Customer Relationship Marketing was conducted after result of market research obtained. The result of this study showed that most of respondents had less knowledge about Kediri Baptist Hospital’s promotion and perception about the expensive cost, they also felt dissatisfaction towards the waiting room facilities and the administrative procedures. The result were discussed in FGD with hospital’s management and then decide the recommendations. Those included several things such as: improving human resources competence, one day care labor service, customer gathering, improving 24 hours nurse line post services

    Stimulation is important in children's cognitive development. Parent’s play an important role in supporting playing activities of the children. The objective of this study was to analyze correlation betwen the parent’s roles of children playing activities with cognitive development of preschool children (5-6 years).  The design of this study was cross sectional. The population was all of parents and student at kediri baptis setia bakti kindergarten. The samples were 38 respondents taken by total sampling. The  independent variable was parent’s roles of  children playing activities. The dependent variable was cognitive development of  preschool children (5-6 years). The data’s were collected using questionnaires and observation list (checklist), then analyzed using spearman rho with significance level of α ≤ 0.05. The result showed p = 0,161, where p > α it mean that ha was refused and h0 was accepted. The conclusion of this study, there was no correlation betwen the parent’s roles of children playing activities with cognitive development of  preschool children (5-6 years) in kediri baptis setia bakti kindergarten
