Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa Melalui Model Problem Based Instruction Pada Mata Pelajaran Seni Budaya Kelas X AKL 1 SMKN 2 Palu
The aim of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of class X AKL students at SMKN 2 Palu through the application of the Problem Based Instruction model in the Cultural Arts subject. This research method is classroom action research. The instrument used in this study was a learning outcome test. The data analysis method used is descriptive for qualitative data and quantitative data. The results obtained from this study are changes in student learning outcomes of class X AKL 1 after the application of the Problem Based Instruction model. In the first cycle the average score of students was 75.60 with classical completeness 66.67%, then in the second cycle the average score of students increased to 87.80 with classical completeness 96.67%. From cycle I to cycle II there was an increase in the average grade and classical completeness of class X AKL 1 SMKN 2 Palu. The conclusion of this study is that the Problem Based Instruction learning model can improve student learning outcomes in class X AKL 1 SMKN 2 Palu in the subject of Cultural Arts
Analisis Kesulitan Guru dalam Mengembangkan Rencana Pembelajaran untuk Meningkatkan Penalaran Matematis Siswa
Lesson preparation is a challenging job. Researchers and educators worldwide generally agree that a lesson plan's quality and an efficient teaching-learning process go hand in hand. Meanwhile, mathematical reasoning aids in the development of logical reasoning and critical thinking in mathematics. Inadequate mathematical thinking abilities can affect performance not only in mathematics but also in science, economics, and other subjects. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify teacher difficulties regarding the preparation to improve students’ mathematical reasoning through lesson plans. The study is a descriptive study, one of the qualitative research methods. The data was collected via an online form developed by the researchers and included open-ended questions. The participants of this study were ninety-three mathematics teachers who enrolled in a three-week online workshop about improving students’ mathematical reasoning. Data were analyzed according to the content analysis steps, which is one of the qualitative research methods. It was found that 73,1% of teachers responded that the content load of the curriculum was a major obstacle during planning the lesson to improve students’ mathematical reasoning. And several obstacles are discussed in this paper
Penggunaan Lagu untuk Meningkatkan Pelafalan Bahasa Inggris Siswa Kelas XI di SMA Negeri 2 Luwuk
This research aimed to discover whether western songs improve students’ English pronunciation at the eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Luwuk. It utilized quasi-experimental design. The population was the XI MIPA students of SMA Negeri 2 Luwuk which consisted of 58 students. The sampling used was purposive sampling. The sample was divided into two classes. Class XI MIPA 2 served as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 3 served as the control class, each class consisted of 17 students. The data were gathered through pronunciation test that included pre-test and post-test. In experimental class, the mean score of pre-test was 40.00 and post-test was 61.17. In control class, the mean score of pre-test was 27.05 and post-test was 44.70. The result of non-parametric by using Mann-Whitney U test showed that the Sig.2-tailed or P value is 0.000 that is less than 0.05. It can be inferred that there is significant difference or H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. It verified that songs can improve students’ pronunciation in English
Penggunaan Job Sheet dalam Pembelajaran Pekerjaan Dasar Teknik Mesin untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas X TMP A SMKN 3 Palu
Learning basic work in mechanical engineering class X TMP A SMKN 3 Palu shows that student learning outcomes are generally still below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). This study aimed to determine the increase in student learning outcomes of class X TMP A SMKN 3 Palu by using job sheets in learning basic work techniques. The research subjects were 35 students of class X TMP A SMKN 3 Palu in the 2018/2019 academic year. This research was conducted in 2 cycles and the instruments used were a cognitive test sheet and a practical assessment sheet for psychomotor. Based on the research results obtained in cycle I student learning completeness 71.42% with the number of students who complete learning as many as 25 students. Then completeness of student learning classically increased in cycle II of 94.28% with 33 students who completed learning. Completeness of student learning from cycle I to cycle II has increased by 22.86%. This significant increase indicates that the use of job sheets in learning is quite effective in improving student learning outcomes
Handwashing Dance Sebagai Literasi Kesehatan Anak Usia Dini pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19
This study aimed to implement handwashing dance as children's health literacy during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted in group B2 TK Negeri Model Terpadu Madani with children aged 5-6 years as research subjects. This research used a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that there were six children who were able to carry out the steps to wash their hands properly without assistance, and three children who were able to do the steps with the help of the teacher. In cognitive aspects, children were able to mention the right time to wash their hands, know the benefits of washing hands, and mention the correct order of washing hands. In affective aspects, children want to wash their hands using soap, not waste water when washing their hands, feel happy, want to queue, dry their hands using a cloth or tissue, and throw used tissues into the trash. Meanwhile, in psychomotor aspect children can take steps to wash their hands properly
Peningkatan Motivasi Belajar Siswa dengan Mengoptimalkan Penerapan Model Discovery Learning dalam Mata Pelajaran PAK dan Budi Pekerti
The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Discovery Learning model in increasing student motivation in Christian Religious Education (PAK) and Budi Pekerti subjects in class VII SMPN 9 Palu. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). This research consists of two cycles. Each cycle goes through the stages of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques in this research using the observation method. The instrument in this research is in the form of an observation sheet. Based on the results of the study, the score in the first cycle of teacher observations was 3.86, which increased in the second cycle to 4.36. The results of student observations in the first cycle of 3.60 increased in the second cycle to 4.24. The presentation of students in the first cycle was 3.86 and increased in the second cycle to 4.2. These results indicate that the application of the discovery learning model can increase students' learning motivation in PAK and morals subjects in class VII SMPN 9 Palu
Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa melalui Pembelajaran Group Investigation pada Siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang diadopsi dari model Kemmis dan Mc.Taggart. Subyek yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah 35 orang siswa yang terdiri atas 26 siswa perempuan dan 9 siswa laki-laki dari kelas X di SMAN 1 Bantul, Yogyakarta. Data hasil belajar siswa diadministrasi menggunakan instrumen tes dan non-tes. Hasil belajar siswa dianalisis menggunakan teknik persentase pada materi pembelajaran menerapkan strategi pemasaran barang dan jasa. Keberhasilan pembelajaran ditentukan berdasarkan nilai rata-rata kelas dan ketuntasan klasikal. Nilai rata-rata pada siklus 1 sebesar 73,9 dengan jumlah siswa yang kompeten sebanyak 63%. Pada siklus 2, nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 78,5 dengan jumlah siswa yang kompeten sebanyak 83%. Jadi, implementasi pembelajaran Group Investigation dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X di SMKN 1 Bantul, Yogyakarta. Temuan ini dapat menjadi rekomendasi bagi guru pada bidang minat lainnya yang memiliki karakteristik kelas yang serupa
Kemampuan Siswa dalam Menyelesaikan Soal-soal Fisika Materi Gerak Lurus Berubah Beraturan
Problem solving cannot be separated from learning Physics. This study aims to determine the ability of physics problems solving on non-uniform linear motion topic. This research was descriptive research. The research subjects were 10 students of class X IPA 2. Data obtained through student ability tests and interviews. The results showed that the students' ability to solve physics problems on non-uniform linear motion topic was included in the good category with an average value of 75.62 with the percentage of each indicator, which were 77.50% the ability to translate sentence questions into symbols, 75.00% ability to understand the formula that will be used to answer the questions, 71.67% ability to use formulas to answer questions and 78.33% ability to use units correctly
Pengaruh Penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) dengan Media Pembelajaran Game Fisika Asik (GASIK) terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa SMP
The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of using the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) learning model with GASIK learning media on the learning outcomes of junior high school students. This type of research was quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was all eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Palu. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, with the research sample being 25 students of class VIII D as the experimental group and 24 students of class VIII E as the control group. The instrument of this research was a multiple-choice test. The learning outcomes test obtained showed that the average score of the experimental group was higher than the control group. Hypothesis t-test (two-tailed) obtained = 2.80 and 1.67 at the level of significance ⍺ = 0.05. This result means that the value of is outside the Ho acceptance area. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) learning model with GASIK learning media on the learning outcomes of junior high school students
Peningkatan Aktivitas Belajar Siswa melalui Layanan Informasi Cara Belajar Efektif
This research was motivated by the low learning activity of students at school. The main objective of this research was to explain the positive effect of information services on effective learning methods in increasing student learning activities. Subjects in this study were 28 students. the instrument used to collect data was a student learning activity questionnaire. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively and inferentially. Hypothesis testing using statistical techniques was the t-test (one tail) at a significant level of 95%. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that student learning activities before being provided with information services on effective learning methods at school were 3.57% students who have high learning activities, 85.7% students who have low learning activities, 10.7% students who have very low learning activities. Meanwhile, after being provided with services for effective learning methods at school, there were 7.14% of students who have very high learning activities, 60.71% of students who have high learning activities, 32.14% of students who have low learning activities. From the results of the inferential analysis showed that there was an effect of information services on effective learning methods in increasing the learning activities of class X SMA Negeri 1 Ampibabo students
