Researching Challenges Faced by Novice and Experience Teachers: Case of the Teachers at the English Department –Tlemcen University
No full textThe present dissertation is a study of the challenges faced by novice teachers in
implementing EFL classroom management. The main purpose of this research is to
compare expert and novice teachers and to state the main causes of the challenges faced
by the new teachers. The data will be collected using three different tools: an online
questionnaire for the students for all majors, teacher interviews, and classroom
observation. This study is conducted with experienced teachers and novice teachers.
Overall, the findings indicate that there are serious challenges faced by novice teachers
which make students prefer teaching by experienced teachers. Despite the fact that
novices use new methods in teaching and up-to-date trends in technology, they still need
guidance from experienced educators and their pieces of advice

speeches, by translating Joe Biden’s speech on the Palestinian issue as a model in order
to extrapolate the complexities and challenges resulting from translating political speech
by introducing a descriptive and analytical approach. This study sheds light on how
translation and interpretation affect the understanding of political speeches. The results
highlight that the translator’s performance in translating Joe Biden’s speech reflects a
deep understanding to translation techniques and language, which emphasizes the
importance of the translator’s role in facilitating cultural understanding and conveying
political messages accurately

Exploring the Effect of Peer Feedback on Improving EFL Students’ Written Production: The Case of Second-Year EFL Students at the English department at Tlemcen University
Get PDFThis study examines the impact of peer feedback sessions on second-year English as a Foreign
Language (EFL) writing courses at Tlemcen University, Algeria. The study evaluates the
influence of peer evaluation on students' writing skills and collects viewpoints from students
and teachers via distinct surveys. The study does a comparative analysis of several instructional
approaches and investigates disparities in feedback provided by peers and teachers. Data
gathering strategies encompass the utilization of customized surveys designed specifically for
students and teachers. The results demonstrate substantial enhancements in writing proficiency,
specifically in certain domains, which can be linked to the use of peer feedback. Suggestions
for improving peer feedback procedures involve setting explicit guidelines, cultivating
nurturing classroom environments, and boosting trainer support. These findings provide useful
insights for instructors who want to enhance writing education in English as a Foreign Language
(EFL) environments
