Research Indonesian junior learning conditions in Kabupaten Demak is research to describe the state of Indonesian junior learning activities in Demak. The purpose of this study is to formulate the learning material presented by the Indonesian junior high teacher in Demak. The data in this study is the learning material presented Indonesian junior high teacher in Demak. In addition to the researchers themselves as instruments of data collection, the researcher equip themselves with instruments such as questionnaires and observation guidelines to capture the overall situation of the study. Analysis of the data used for the second stage of data capture. The eesults obtained are there some researchers Indonesian materials are easily taught to students because it is controlled by the teacher and there are some tough Indonesian material taught to students because it is less controlled by the teacher
VARIASI LEKSIKAL TIGA ISOLEK DALAM KELUARGA BAHASA MELAYU RIAU
The topic of this research is the lexical variations in Riau Malay language family. This study aims to describe the calculation or determination of the percentage of linguistic variations contained in Riau Malay language family in the three isolects (Tualang, Kesumbo Ampai, and Pelalawan) and lexical variations contained in Riau Malay language family in the three isolects. The three isolects are in the neighboring districts of Siak, Bengkalis and Pelalawan.. This research uses dialectometry method with quantitative and qualitative approach. The quantitative approach observes the percentage of language variations, while the qualitative approach describes the lexicon variations. From the calculation of dialectometry, the vocabulary distance of the three isolects in Riau Malay language family indicates that (1) the interisolects of Tualang and Pelalawan are considered to be no difference; (2) the interisolects of Kesumbo Ampai and Pelalawan are considered to have different speech, and (3) the interisolects ofTualang and Kesumbo Ampai are considered to have different speech. Meanwhile, the variation of lexicons in Riau Malay language family in the three isolects of 200 glosses are 64 varied glosses
MAKNA SIMBOL PROSESI DALAM RITUAL AMBIL SEMANGAT SUKU TIDUNG
The study aims to describe the meaning of the symbol of the procession of Ritual Ambil Semangat in Sembakung, Nunukan, North Kalimantan. Ambil Semangat (Take Spirit) is a customary ritual to cure diseases caused by spirits. Research data is obtained by recording, note taking, and interview techniques, then the data was collected, identified and classified. The research data in the form of recording and notes about the meaning of the symbol of Ritual Ambil Semangat in Sembakung Nunukan. The study focuses on the meaning of symbols of the Ambil Semangat Procession with a semiotic approach. Research on the meaning of ritual procession symbols Ambil Semangat in Sembakung Nunukan uses semiotic study by applying the theory of triangle of meaning (sign, object, and interperant). The result of the study shows that there are unique meaning in the stages of the process. The order of ritual Ambil Semangat are: Pembukaan, Potong Lilin Tiga Sisi, Mengisi Air dalam Ember, Memulai Ritual Ambil Semangat, Menyalakan Lilin Kuning, Tempel Lilin Kuning, Putar Mangkuk pakan, Usapan air Salawat Nabi, Ambil Syarat Nabi Ilyas As, Pemanggil Roh, Pulang dengan Doa, Pasang Ikat, Hambur Pakan, Masuk Air, Air Nabi Khaidir As, Telan Air Salawat Nabi Khaidir As, Penutup
BENTUK SAPAAN KEKERABATAN DALAM BAHASA BANJAR DI TEMBILAHAN, RIAU
This study aims to describe forms of kinship terms of address used in Banjar language. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected through an interview in which the results of the interview are jot down. The data were analyzed with unified method with the following steps; classifying the data according to their kinds, describing each terms of address, and providing examples of the terms of address (matching) ina sentence. The result of this study reveals kinship terms of address based on the line of descent are abah, uwak laki, uwak bini, nanang, acik, abang, kakak, ading, anak, cucu, nenek laki, and datuk. While kinship terms of address based on the line of mariage are umak, abah mintuhak, umak mintuhak, nenek bini, nenek laki, nanang, acik, ulak, uwak, mantu, bini, laki, kakak ipar, abang ipar, and ading ipar. The study concludes that there are two forms of kinship terms of address used in Banjar language, namely kinship terms of address based on line of descent and line of marriage
PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERMAIN PERAN DALAM PELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA
The level of listening skills of interactive dialogue of class IX.3 students of SMPN 3 Pekanbaru is still low. The low skill is due to the fact that the instructional technique factor used by teacher is still less proper. Teachers still apply a monotonous learning pattern in the form of lectures and commands so that there is no variation in learning. To overcome the low listening skills of interactive dialogue, researcher provides solutions by using role playing models. Role-play model is a method that involves interactions between two or more students about a topic or situation. The objective of this study is to determine whether the application of role-playing learning model can improve student learning outcomes of class IX.3 SMPN 3 Pekanbaru academic year 2016/2017 or not. The study was conducted for 2 months, from September to November 2016. The study was conducted in 2 cycles, with 6 meetings and two daily tests. In order to succeed this classroom action research, the researcher designed steps of action planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. The result of the study shows that the implementation of role play learning model can improve the learning outcomes of students class IX.3 SMPN 3 Pekanbaru, academic year 2016/2017. It can be seen from the improvement of student learning outcomes before and after applying the model of learning play Roles in cycle I and cycle II
MEMAKNAI “SOLILOKUI PARA PENUNGGU HUTAN†MARHALIM ZAINI
Sunday, February 1st 2015, Kompas published Marhalim Zaini’s (MZ) poetry, titled “Solilokui Para Penunggu Hutanâ€. This poetry is interesting because it is related to MZ’s oration when he was inaugurated as Seniman Pilihan Sagang 2011. In his oration, titled “Akulah Melayu yang Berlari (Percakapan-percakapan yang Tak Selesai tentang Ideologi an Identitas Kultural)â€, MZ showed the problem of his identity (as a Malay). The objectives of this article are to obtain the information about what/how the content of the text and to try getting to know how and why the poetry is presented. Due to the fact that the main problem is related to MZ’s idea, thought, willingness, and/or critics of LancangKuning Land, the analysis of this article will apply structuralism theory with expressive and mimesis approach. The result shows that it is MZ’s monologue with himself in order to express his feeling, hunch, inner conflict, and/or presented the information to readers about forest dwellers. It was not done by forest dwellers, but by MZ himself about the forest dwellers. It shows that if it is related to his anxiety so far (he was accused as a convert to Islam Malay), through his poetry “Solilokui Para Penunggu Hutanâ€, MZ is carrying out/will carry out his self-defense
SIKAP HIDUP PERANAKAN TIONGHOA DALAM NOVEL CA BAU KAN KARYA REMY SYLADO
This study was based on the assumptions that every literary work is the picture of existing reality. This study was conducted to describe the existence of cultural social background in a literary work and to add the information about the society of Tionghoa descendence as part of Indonesian society. The method applied in this study was descriptive method by using literary sociological approach. The findings of this study showed that the Ca Bau Kan novel describe the life attitudes of Tionghoa descendence in general. The positive attitudes they had were (1) They appreciated time and money very much; and (2) They were good sport when they wanted to attack their enemies. On the other hand, the negative attitudes they had were (1) They would do everything to solve their problems; (2) They liked to “take care of†other women; and (3) They did not have high nationality in a country where they earn livelihood for life
RELEVANSI BUDAYA MELAYU DALAM CERITA “SENANDUNG DAYANG DERMAâ€
The drama script “Senandung Dayang Derma†(SDD) (Dayang Derma Humming) written by Rina Nazaruddin is a story that close to Malay culture. The analysis of SDD story will be carried out by using literary anthropology and literary sociology approach. Literary anthropology approach is applied to analyze cultural elements in the story, whereas literary sociology approach is applied to analyze social fact, i.e. habits, norms and customs that exist in Riau Malay community. The method used is descriptive analysis method. Descriptive-analytical methods are used to describe, comprehend, and explain the cultural elements in literary works and then followed by analyzing. The result of analysis shows that cultural elements, i.e. language and social system in SDD story have relevance to the culture of Riau Malay Community
SUMBER INSPIRASI PEMBENTUK KIAS DALAM PASAMBAHAN PADA UPACARA PERKAWINAN
This study discusses the source of inspiration in forming kias of pasambahan in the marriage ceremony in Luhak, district of Limapuluhkota. The Minangkabau have a variety of ideas sourced from their everyday lives to make kias in the pasambahan. Inspiration to make kias taken from various of flora, fauna, tools, and objects that are used in a variety of everyday activities. The sources of inspiration in forming Kias of pasambahan are classified and analyzed by using the qualitative method. Based on the analysis that was conducted on data, 10 the source of inspiration in forming kias of pasambahan are obtained, that is 1) kias by using plants, 2) kias by using animals, 3) kias by using food and drink, 4) kias by using activities, 5) kias by using natural events, 6) kias by using clothes and jewelry, 7) kias by using profession, 8) kias by using kitchen tools, 9) kias by using fishing equipment, and 10) kias by using the concept of religion
