Applications Post-Disaster Counseling in Indonesia: Issues and Challenges
The high frequency of natural disasters occurring in Indonesia has caused specific psychological impacts to the victims like depression, anxiety, stress, trauma-if these are not reduced—and may cause more severe effects like post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD). Counselors need to be involved in overcoming these problems, and post-disaster counseling is a new focus in the counseling world. To conduct this counseling, counselors need to have unique competencies. Thus, this paper will explain to the counselor basic concepts, knowledge, competences, skills in doing post-natural disaster counseling services, problems, and challenges involved during the post-natural disaster services
Solution Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC): Study in Students with Academic Procrastination
This research was motivated by preliminary research findings which show the level of academic procrastination among the students of Islamic Religious Education Department (PAI) of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FTIK) of the State Institute of Islamic Studies (IAIN) Pontianak at 71.88% which is in the high category, even at 8.75% which is in the very high class and the findings of several studies which stated that SFBC effectively overcomes various psychological problems . The research aims to prove the effectiveness of the Treatment Model of Academic Procrastination based on FSBC to reduce the behavior of academic procrastination among students who are writing their undergraduate thesis. In practice, this research used the Research and Development (R&D) approach and the model effectiveness testing, which was is conducted with One Group Pretest-Posttest Experimental Design. The data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using percentages and t-test. The results showed that the outcomes of the pretest-posttest average score decreased by 36.533 (from 231.666 to 195.133). Furthermore, the SFBC Model t-test showed a significance value of 0.00 (less than the alpha value of 0.05). Thus, the SFBC is sufficient to reduce the behavior of academic procrastination among the students of the Department of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) of the State Institute of Islamic Studies (IAIN) Pontianak

The Optimalization of Toddler Family Guidance (BKB) in Preventing Child Sexual Abuse
The numbers of sexual abuse always increase annually. There is a need for direct involvement from the community. Education about sexual abuse and prevention can be started from toddler family guidance done monthly. This research sees the optimization of toddler family guidance in preventing child sexual abuse. It is a Research and Development using procedures covering the preliminary study, planning, designing an initial product, initial trial run with a small sample, and revising the product. The population involves mothers from the Integrated Health Service of the whole Gunung Pati District divided into 16 administrative villages. The samples of the research are the people of administrative villages with intermediate to lower levels of socio-economy and have 2 – 6-year children. The study uses purposive sampling to collect data using a scaled instrument, questionnaire, and interview. Analyze data used a comparison test
Marriage Readiness of Emerging Adulthood
Marriage readiness is one of the keys to marital satisfaction. Emerging adulthood has some thoughts about that bassist Reviews their evaluation criterion of marriage readiness. Quantitative This is an exploratory study, using 500 college students, aged between 18-25 years old, and consisted of 190 men and 390 women. The questionnaire using Criterion of Marriage Readiness to examine the criterion that important to marriage readiness (33 items, Cronbach alpha 0.917) and the level of emerging adulthood's preparation for marriage (33 questions, Cronbach alpha 0.946). The questionnaire using the criterion from Ghalili's study (2011). There are some results of this study. First, emerging adulthood evaluates Themselves are ready for Marriages, but not so prepared for marriage. They score higher places on the moral and mental criterion that Considered necessary for marriage readiness. This finding is somewhat consistent with the result of the preparedness of Marriages. Emerging adults have a higher score of preparation of Marriages in moral and mental criterion. There are significant differences between men and women in the standard of Marriage readiness married (sig 0.001, P <0.05) and the level of preparedness to marriage (sig 0.008, P <0.05). These findings are useful for government institutions, parents, and adults emerging as the basis of consideration of emerging adulthood's decision to marry
Bibliotherapy for Emotional Literacy
One way to help teens manage their emotions is by using emotional literacy. Emotional literacy is a person's ability to understand, express emotions to people, respond to the expression of the feelings of others, and take responsibility for their actions. Emotional literacy can be done through pedagogical strategies, as well as the use of the application of theory and various other learning strategies. Counselors need a method to develop emotional literacy skills in students either by media bibliotherapy or better known as biblikonseling. In this case, the counselor gave the book or story. The utilization of the book as a medium of therapy is called bibliotherapy. Bibliotherapy is psychotherapeutic support through reading material to help someone who is experiencing personal problems. This treatment method is highly recommended, especially for patients who are challenging to express issues verbally. The subjects were students' Universitas Kanjuruhan Malang Department Guidance and Counseling in 2015, 2016. The reason for choosing Guidance and Counseling Student Universitas Kanjuruhan Malang, as guidance and counseling student, is a candidate for school counselors, and they are required to have a good personality and need to be developed early on. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of bibliotherapy techniques to improve the skills of emotional literacy student guidance and counseling Universitas Kanjuruhan Malang. Profile of Students Resilience and Implications of Guidance and Counseling
This study aims to obtain a profile of adolescent resilience in grade VIII level of junior high school students. This research uses a descriptive quantitative method. The study was conducted on students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Cimahi 2017/2018 academic year with the total population is 452 students, and the number of research samples is 443 students. The instrument used in this study was adapted and modified from the resilience theory in Bonnie Benard's' book "Resiliency: What We Have Learned" and a Likert-scale questionnaire. The results of this research are as follows: 1) The highest aspect is the sense of purpose and bright futures of 83.37%, 2) the lowest issue is the social competence of 68.65%; 3) the highest indicator is spirituality of 91.58%, and 4) the cancel indicator is communication of 60.87%
Monitoring Gadget Usage Behavior Among Adolescents Using Machine Learning
The aim study has a long-term goal, namely to reduce negative impact of gadget use among adolescents. By giving awareness and the ability for teens to control the use of gadgets, adolescents are expected will be more productive and act as users of information technology intelligent. From economic products, the software developed can be marketed to various educational institutions such as junior high school or university, or where parents or schools will get a monitoring report on the use of gadgets from adolescents users. The method used in this study includes artificial intelligence techniques (machine learning) for various development models of text/speech / video/type classification user; User Centered Design techniques for application development; and multiple techniques social humanities such as desk study activities, focus group discussions, survey/questionnaire/interview. The results of the first year research to date are software development to monitor user behavior on the gadget, collecting user behavior data adolescents on gadgets, interviewing gadget use on teenage respondents, development. A Study on The Marriage Phenomenolgy of Commuter Marriage Spouse
In general, the marriage is lived by a spouse who lives together and cooperates with each other to shape the family. Recently, many couples do not live together, but in a distant city, and are called a long-distance marriage or a commuter marriage. From many reasons that create the long distance marriage, one of which is the job. The aim of this study is to find out the condition of the marriage life in commuter marriage and the dynamics on perceived marital satisfaction. This research method uses the qualitative method. Subjects in this study are 3 pairs of husband and wife practicing commuter marriage, which has a minimum marriage age of 5 years and has at least one child. The research result has shown that wives tend to experience dissatisfaction in the marriage, while the husbands feel quite happy in the marriage
