    ANALISIS SALURAN PEMASARAN LADA PUTIH DI DESA AIR GEGAS KECAMATAN AIR GEGAS KABUPATEN BANGKA SELATAN

    This research aims to: (1) determine pepper marketing channels (2) calculate pepper marketing margin (3) calculate pepper farmer share (4) analyze pepper marketing efficiency in Air Gegas Village. The research method used in this research is the survey method. The sampling technique used snowball sampling and the number of samples was 10 farmers and 2 trader collectors. The data collection methods used were interviews, observation and questionnaires. The data analysis method uses qualitative analysis, marketing margin analysis, farmer share analysis and marketing efficiency analysis. The research results show that 1) the marketing channels for pepper in Air Gegas Village are indirect selling and collecting traders as intermediaries. 2). The average marketing margin for pepper in Air Gegas Village is Rp. 4,500/kg. 3). The average farmer share of pepper in Air Gegas Village is 96.4%. 4). The average pepper marketing efficiency in Air Gegas Village is 1.83%

    Budidaya tanaman menggunakan teknologi hidroponik semakin berkembang seiring dengan menurunnya luas lahan pertanian setiap tahun karena banyak dialihfungsikan. Kekurangan budidaya secara hidroponik yaitu harga nutrisi yang relatif mahal dan penggunaan bahan kimia pada larutan nutrisi. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan pemanfaatan limbah bulu ayam menjadi pupuk organik cair sebagai pengganti nutrisi anorganik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian berbagai konsentrasi pupuk organik cair limbah bulu ayam terhadap status hara nitrogen (N) dan pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy pada hidroponik sistem sumbu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada November 2019 sampai April 2020 di Kebun Percobaan dan Penelitian fakultas Pertanian, Perikanan, dan Biologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 kali ulangan dan 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu K0 (AB Mix 100%), K1 (POC 90%), K2 (POC 70%), dan K3 (POC 50%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi konsentrasi Pupuk Organik Cair bulu ayam, jumlah Ntotal dalam jaringan tanaman semakin meningkat. Pemberian pupuk organik cair memberikan pengaruh pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy. Perlakuan konsentrasi POC 50% menghasilkan pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy yang terbaik namun lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan AB Mix.Cultivation of plants using hydroponic technology is growing along with the decreasing area of ​​agricultural land every year because it is being converted a lot. Disadvantages of hydroponic cultivation are the relatively expensive price of nutrients and the use of chemicals in nutrient solutions. Efforts that can be made are by utilizing waste chicken feathers to become liquid organic fertilizer as a substitute for inorganic nutrients. This study aims to determine the effect of giving various concentrations of liquid organic fertilizer from chicken feather waste on nitrogen (N) nutrient status, growth and yield of pakcoy plants with hydroponic wick systems. This research was conducted from November 2019 to April 2020 at the Experimental and Research Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Fisheries and Biology. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 replications and 4 treatment levels of K0 (100% AB Mix), K1 (90% liquid fertilizer), K2 (70% liquid fertilizer), and K3 (50% liquid fertilizer). The results showed that the higher the concentration of chicken feather Liquid Organic Fertilizer, the amount of Ntotal in plant tissue increased. The application of liquid organic fertilizer has an effect on the growth of pakcoy plants. The application of liquid organic fertilizer has an effect on the growth of pakcoy plants. Treatment of 50% liquid fertilizer concentration resulted  the best growth of pakcoy plants however lower than AB Mix nutrition

    This study aims to calculate the contribution of the income of women oil palm farmworkers to household income and analyze the factors that affect the income of women oil palm farmworkers in Malik Village, South Bangka Regency. The time and place of this research will be carried out in June 2023 on women oil palm farm workers in Malik Village, Payung District, South Bangka Regency. The research method used in this study is a survey method, and the sampling method used in this study is saturated sampling with a sample size of 34 respondents. The data collection methods used are observation, interview, and questionnaire methods. The data analysis method uses revenue contribution and multiple linear regression with SPSS 26.0 software. The results showed that 1) The total income contribution of women oil palm farmworkers received in May was 188.375%, with an average of 55.40% to household income. 2) The factors affecting the income of women oil palm farm workers in Malik Village are working days, number of family members, and wages.       &nbsp

    Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Keterampilan Kerja, Komitmen Kerja dan Budaya Kerja Terhadap Penilaian Prestasi Kerja Serta Implikasinya Pada Efektivitas Kerja Pegawai Dinas Pertanian Kota Pagar Alam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kuisioner yang disebarkan kepada responden. Uji kualitas data dengan menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas. Analisis dengan menggunakan perhitungan statistik dengan rumus regresi berganda, uji parsial uji simultan dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian didapat Keterampilan Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penilaian prestasi kerja pegawai Dinas Pertanian Kota Pagar Alam. Komitmen Kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penilaian prestasi kerja pegawai Dinas Pertanian Kota Pagar Alam. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method using questionnaires distributed to respondents. Test the quality of the data by using the validity test, reliability test. Analysis using statistical calculations with multiple regression formula, partial test simultaneous test and the coefficient of determination. The results of the study showed that Work Skills had a significant effect on the performance appraisal of the Agriculture Office of the City of Pagar Alam. Work Commitment has no significant effect on the performance appraisal of the Pagar Alam City Agriculture Service employee. Work culture has no significant effect on the performance appraisal of the Pagar Alam City Agriculture Service employee. Work Skills have a significant effect on the effectiveness of the work of the Agriculture Office of the City of Pagar Alam.     PENGARUH PEMBERIAN TIMBAL (Pb) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DUA VARIETAS LADA (Piper nigrum L)

    The pepper (Piper nigrum L.) a plantation crop that widely cultivated farmers in Indonesia, especially in Bangka Belitung Islands. One of the challenges of pepper cultivation in Bangka Belitung is the reduction in land conversion caused by tin mining. Tin mining causes high levels heavy metal content. The heavy metal lead (Pb) is element that can influence its growth. Pb are will become an inhibitor of enzyme formation which inhibits plant metabolism and effect growh of pepper. The aim of this research to determine the effect of giving Pb to both varieties and determine which varieties are adaptive in planting media containing Pb. This research was carried out April to July, at Bangka Belitung University. The method used was experiment and the design used was a randomized (RAKF). Treatment consists 2 factors. The first factor is  Petaling 1 cultivar and the Nyelungkup cultivar. The second factor, Pb concentration which consists of Pb concentration of 0 ppm, 100 ppm and 200 ppm. Data analysis used the F test (ANOVA) followed the Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The research results showed each cultivar did not have a real influence on the observed parameters. Aplication Pb concentrations 100 and 200 Ppm had effect on plant height, number of leaves, increasing number of shoots, leaf area and root length and root fresh weight.     Penelitian ini bertujuan mengindentifikasi minat generasi Z berprofesi sebagai petani dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat generasi Z berprofesi sebagai petani di Kecamatan Merawang Kabupaten Bangka. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2021 sampai dengan Februari 2022 di  Kecamatan Merawang Kabupaten Bangka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Metode penarikan contoh yang digunakan adalah quota sampling dengan sampel generasi Z yang orang tua berprofesi sebagai petani di Kecamatan Merawang. Jumlah sampel seratus generasi Z yang orang tua berprofesi sebagai petani di Kecamatan Merawang. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan regresi logistic biner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan minat generasi Z berprofesi sebagai petani 71,4% dengan kategori tinggi. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat generasi Z berprofesi sebagai petani yang berpengaruh signifikan yaitu pendapatan usahatani orang tua, jarak rumah dari pusat perkotaan, jumlah kepemilikan sosial media dan jenis Kelamin.This study aims to identify the interest of generation Z in working as farmers and analyze the factors that influence generation Z's interest in working as farmers in Merawang District, Bangka Regency. This research was conducted from November 2021 to February 2022 in Merawang District, Bangka Regency. The research method used is the survey method. The sampling method used is quota sampling with generation Z samples whose parents work as farmers in Merawang District. The number of samples of one hundred generation Z whose parents work as farmers in Merawang District. The data analysis method uses qualitative descriptive analysis and binary logistic regression.     ANALISIS EFISIENSI EKONOMIS PENGGUNAAN FAKTOR-FAKTOR PRODUKSI PADA USAHATANI PADI SAWAH DI KECAMATAN PEMAYUNG KABUPATEN BATANGHARI

    This research aims to: 1) Understand the general description of lowland rice farming, 2) Analyze the influence of the use of production factors on lowland rice production. This study uses primary data. The sampling method used simple random sampling method with a total of 68 farmers as respondents. The analytical method used to describe lowland rice farming in general uses descriptive qualitative analysis, while to determine the effect of the use of production factors on lowland rice production is multiple linear regression with the Cobb-Douglas production function. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, it is found that lowland rice farming in Pemayung District, Batang Hari Regency is a small-scale farming activity which aims to meet daily living needs with local seeds and the use of fertilizers and pesticides which is not yet optimal. Production factors in the form of land area, seeds, urea fertilizer, pesticides and labor have a significant effect on lowland rice production. Meanwhile, the production factor in the form of NPK fertilizer had no significant effect on lowland rice production.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui gambaran umum usahatani padi sawah dataran rendah, 2) Menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan faktor produksi terhadap produksi padi sawah dataran rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode simple random sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 68 petani. Metode analisis yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan usahatani padi sawah dataran rendah secara umum menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif, sedangkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan faktor produksi terhadap produksi padi sawah dataran rendah adalah regresi linier berganda dengan fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan diperoleh hasil bahwa usahatani padi sawah dataran rendah di Kecamatan Pemayung Kabupaten Batang Hari merupakan kegiatan usahatani berskala kecil yang bertujuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari dengan benih lokal serta penggunaan pupuk dan pestisida yang belum optimal. Faktor produksi berupa luas lahan, benih, pupuk urea, pestisida dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi padi sawah dataran rendah. Sedangkan faktor produksi berupa pupuk NPK tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi padi dataran rendah

    JENIS HIDROPONIK STATIS DAN LEVEL KONSENTRASI HUETT’S LETTUCE TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI SELADA

     Lettuce is a type of vegetable that is produced in a hydroponic system, one of which is a static hydroponic system. Hydroponic lettuce production usually uses a certain level of concentration. This study aims to determine the effect of the hydroponic system, concentration levels, and their interactions on the growth and yield of lettuce. The research was carried out in the research and experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Fisheries and Biology, University of Bangka Belitung, using a factorial randomized block experimental design including a static hydroponic system and various concentrations of Huett's lettuce formulation, repeated 3 times. The results showed that the kratky hydroponic system was the best treatment. The concentration level of 500 ppm showed the highest mean yield. The combination of kratky hydroponic system treatment with a concentration of 500 ppm showed the highest average yield on the growth and yield of lettuce.Tanaman selada merupakan jenis sayuran yang dapat di produksi dengan sistem hidroponik, salah satunya sistem hidroponik statis. Produksi selada secara hidroponik biasanya menggunakan konsentrasi dengan level tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sistem hidroponik, level konsentrasi, dan interaksinya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kebun penelitian dan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Perikanan dan Biologi Universitas Bangka Belitung, menggunakan rancangan percobaan acak kelompok faktorial meliputi sistem hidroponik statis dan berbagai konsentrasi formulasi huett’s lettuce, diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan sistem hidroponik kratky merupakan perlakuan terbaik. Level konsentrasi 500 ppm menunjukkan rerata hasil tertinggi. Kombinasi perlakuan sistem hidroponik kratky dengan konsentrasi 500 ppm menunjukkan rerata hasil tertinggi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada. &nbsp

    Application of Beeswax Emulsion Edible Coating with the Addition of Sesame Oil and Lemongrass Oil to Extend the Shelf Life of Tomatoes (Solanum lycopersicum Mill.)

    The use of edible coating is a way to increase the shelf life of horticultural products. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of beeswax emulsion coating concentration with the addition of sesame oil and lemongrass oil as an edible coating to extend the shelf life of tomatoes. This research was conducted in January ̶ March 2020. The experimental design used was a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with various concentrations of beeswax emulsion combination of 0,5% lemongrass oil and 0,5% sesame oil with various concentrations of beeswax (0%, 1%, 2%, 3%). Beeswax edible coating solution is applied to the tomatoes by dipping the tomatoes into the solution. The results showed that the application of beeswax emulsion edible coating with the addition of sesame oil and citronella oil to tomatoes with a concentration of 3% was able to maintain the fruit's shelf life for 12 days of storage and gave good results on weight loss, total dissolved solids and total acid variables in tomatoes compared to other treatments.Penggunaan Edible Coating merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan umur simpan produk hortikultura. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan konsentrasi pelapis emulsi lilin lebah dengan penambahan minyak wijen dan minyak serai sebagai pelapis nabati terhadap memperpanjang umur simpan tomat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari – Maret 2020. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan berbagai konsentrasi emulsi lilin lebah kombinasi minyak serai 0,5% dan minyak wijen 0,5% dengan berbagai konsentrasi lilin lebah (0 %, 1%, 2%, 3%). Larutan pelapis makan lilin lebah diaplikasikan pada tomat dengan cara mencelupkan tomat ke dalam larutan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaplikasian Edible Coating Emulsi Lilin Lebah dengan penambahan minyak wijen dan minyak serai wangi pada tomat dengan konsentrasi 3% mampu mempertahankan umur simpan buah selama 12 hari penyimpanan dan memberikan hasil yang baik terhadap penurunan berat, total variabel padatan terlarut dan asam total pada tomat dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya

    STUDI KEPUTUSAN PETANI LADA PUTIH TERHADAP PENGGUNAAN JUNJUNG HIDUP DALAM SISTEM PERTANIAN BERKELANJUTAN

    Lada putih merupakan tanaman rempah unggulan dari sektor pertanian di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung yang dikenal di pasar dunia sebagai Muntok White Pepper dengan keunikan yang berasal dari Indikasi Geografis (IG). Produksi yang tinggi dari Muntok White Pepper tidak memberikan keuntungan bagi petani, karena petani harus mengeluarkan biaya untuk pengadaan input produksi yang besar dengan waktu produksi yang relatif singkat. Permasalahan ini perlu diatasi oleh petani melalui penerapan sistem pertanian berkelanjutan dengan Good Agriculture Practice (GAP) berupa penggunaan junjung hidup. Keputusan petani untuk mengganti penggunaan junjung mati ke junjung hidup dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis determinan keputusan petani lada putih terhadap penggunaan junjung hidup. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Air Gegas, Kabupaten Bangka Selatan pada Agustus sampai Desember 2022. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah data sekunder yang dikumpulkan melalui metode studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keputusan petani lada putih terhadap penggunaan junjung hidup dipengaruhi oleh enam faktor, antara lain umur, tingkat pendidikan formal, pengalaman usaha tani, luas lahan, status kepemilikan lahan, dan partisipasi dalam kelompok tani.White pepper is a superior spice plant from the agricultural sector in Bangka Belitung Islands Province which is known in the world market as Muntok White Pepper with uniqueness that comes from Geographical Indications (GI). The high production of Muntok White Pepper in Bangka Belitung Islands Province does not provide benefit for farmers, because farmers have to pay for the procurement of large production inputs with a relatively short production time. This problem needs to be addressed by farmers through the application of sustainable farming system with Good Agriculture Practice (GAP) such as the live climbing pole using. The farmer's decision to change the dead climbing pole to the live climbing pole is influenced by several factors. The purpose of this research was to analyze the determinant of white pepper farmers’s decision on the live climbing pole using. This research was conducted in Air Gegas Sub-district, South Bangka District on August until December 2022. The data used on this research was secondary data collected through library research method. The results of this research indicate that the decision of white pepper farmers on the live climbing pole using is influenced by six factors, including age, level of formal education, farming experience, land area, land ownership status, and participation on agricultural group
