Temporal Analysis of the Influence of the Number of Vaccinations on the Number of Covid-19 Cases in South Sulawesi Province Using ARIMAX Model
South Sulawesi is a province that has the highest number of Covid-19 cases in the Sulawesi island region. Vaccination is one way that is considered effective in controlling the infection of a disease. Covid-19 vaccination in Indonesia was carried out in January 2021. This study aims to obtain the best Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average X (ARIMAX) model in modeling the effect of the number of vaccinations on the number of Covid-19 cases in South Sulawesi Province. Data on the number of vaccinations and Covid-19 cases in South Sulawesi Province (October 1, 2021 - January 31, 2022) were used. The best ARIMAX model in modeling Covid-19 in relation to the number of vaccinations is ARIMAX (2,1,0). The results showed that the number of vaccinations had a negative effect on the number of Covid-19 cases at the significant level of 10%. This indicates that if the number of vaccinations increases then the number of Covid-19 cases will decrease
Peak Load Forecasting Methods of Sulbagsel Electrical Systems
Abstract. This research is an ex post facto study using a descriptive approach and an exploratory nature which aims to determine the peak load growth from 2019 to 2023 and the appropriate peak load forecasting method is used. Data collection techniques are carried out by using observation and documentation to obtain data and information about this research by recording and observing documents related to research. The results showed that the average peak load growth of Sulbagsel electrical system from 2019 to 2023 for the six peak load forecasting methods used, namely 1.19 for the demand forecast (DF) method with an average percentage level of confidence in the peak load forecasting results of 97.97%, for the linear regression method of 1.21 with an average percentage of the confidence level of the peak load forecasting results of 99.39%, the quadratic regression method of 0.99 with an average percentage of the confidence level of the peak load forecasting results of 97.27%, the single moving average method (SMA ) of 1.12 with an average percentage of the confidence level of the peak load forecasting results of 98.14%, the double moving average (DMA) method of 1.17 with an average percentage of the confidence level of the peak load forecasting results of 97.55%, and using the load growth average method ( LGA) of 1.39 with an average percentage level at the confidence of the peak load forecasting results of 103.5%. The Effect of Binder Concentration on the Ability of Gelcasting Porous Ceramics as TiO2 Support Catalysts
Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of binder concentration on the ability of porous ceramics as TiO2 support catalyst. The porous ceramic synthesis used was the gelcasting method using natural clay as matrix, cassava starch as binder and CMC as dispersant. The concentration of cassava starch binder used were 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, 10%. The methods used in catalyst supporting are adsorption method and sol gel coating method. Analysis of TiO2 catalyst content in porous ceramics using XRF instrument. The results obtained showed that the concentration of cassava starch affects the ability of porous ceramics as TiO2 catalyst support. The largest percentage of TiO2 catalyst with adsorption method was achieved at a binder concentration of 8% with a catalyst percentage of 38.9% while with sol gel coating method was achieved at a binder concentration of 4% with a catalyst percentage of 20.11%. Rancang Bangun Sistem Pendeteksi Suhu Air Pada Lahan Rumput Laut Berbasis Atmega 328
Abstract. The study designed a seaweed water temperature detection device based on atmega 328 microcontrollers connected with sensors. The type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using a 4D development model. The research site was conducted on seaweed cultivation land located around campus II of Cokroaminoto Palopo University. Development of Atmega 328-based seaweed temperature detection tool through several stages, namely 1) defining / define, 2) design / design, 3) Development / develop, 4) Spread / disseminate. The results showed that the Atmega 328-based temperature detection device had worked well. Based on the results of validation by two experts related to the feasibility of atmega 328-based temperature measuring instrument obtained the result that the temperature measuring instrument is in the category is very good to use. This is evident from quantitative data and validator questionnaire stuffing and is supported by constructive comments and suggestions from each expert validator. The conclusion of validation results that the measuring instrument is worth testing in the field or at the research site.
SOLASI DAN IDENTIFIKASI SENYAWA METABOLIT SEKUNDER EKSTRAK METANOL AKAR NAPAS PEDADA (Sonneratia caseolaris L.)
Abstrak. Penelitian eksplorasi ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi dan mengidentifikasi senyawa metabolit sekunder yang terdapat dalam ekstrak metanol akar S. caseolaris yang terdiri dari preparasi sampel, ekstraksi (maserasi) dengan metanol, fraksinasi dengan Kromatografi Kolom Cair Vakum dan Kromatografi Kolom Tekan, pemurnian dengan dekantasi dan identifikasi dengan uji pereaksi dan uji Spektroskopi. Sampel berasal dari muara sungai Waetuo, Kecematan Tanete Riattang Timur, Kabupaten Bone, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Hasil penelitian berupa senyawa murni yaitu kristal putih berbentuk serbuk yang menunjukkan noda tunggal pada uji KLT sistem tiga eluen. Kristal menunjukkan hasil positif terhadap pereaksi Wagner dan Dragendorff. Hasil data spektrum FT-IR menunjukkan adanya gugus fungsi N—H primer, C—H alifatik, C—N, C—H (—CH2 dan —CH3), C=C aromatik dan C=O. Berdsarkan data tersebut, menunjukkan bahwa senyawa yang diperoleh merupakan golongan senyawa alkaloid.Kata Kunci: Akar, Sonneratia caseolaris L., Alkaloi
Laboratory Control and Monitor Device Based on Relay With Raspberry
Abstract. Observe in the Laboratory for student requires comfortable and safe conditions. Realize this, we need a control and monitor device to secure electrical device inside of laboratory. This research aims to : (1) Build software laboratory control and monitor based on relay with raspberry to bridle electrical devices in the laboratory or office using smartphone, (2) Build laboratory control and monitor device based on relay with created software, (3) Build an interface and application of laboratory control and monitor based on relay with smartphone to bridle electrical devices in the laboratory or office whether in a close or wide range.The result shows that : (1) software of laboratory or office control and monitor based on relay serve properly, this is evidence by all controlled and monitored systems both in Miniatur Circuit Breaker (MCB) as well as various controlled loads, (2) Electrical control and monitor device based on relay serve properly, this is evidence by research trials using smartphone, (3) Applications and interface control systems based on relay with raspberry serve properly, this is evidence by control system trials using smartphone. Increasing energy values of biscuits with tempe purée and sardines flour as the ingredient substitutions
Abstract. This research and development study aims to investigate the energy values of biscuits made of tempe purée ad sardines flour (sardinella). The experiment was conducted in the Laboratory of Home Economics Department (PKK) in Engineering Faculty of Universitas Negeri Makassar. The used data collection technique is documentation from proximate analysis. The used data analysis technique is descriptive analysis. The process of making biscuits using tempe purée and sardines flour starts with weighing all the ingredients, mixing, weighing the dough for 1 biscuit, moulding the dough, placing in the oven and baking, remove from the oven and cooling, then packing the biscuits. The results showed that the nutritional values based on the proximate test of the biscuit formula with the substitution of tempe purée and sardines flour showed that the calorie value increased to 7.8 kcal, fat value increased to 1.72 grams, and calcium value increased to 5.59 grams. SIFAT FISIK DAN KIMIAWI BATAKO RAMAH LINGKUNGAN
Abstrak. Inovasi bahan bangunan menjadi tantangan dalam industri konstruksi. Salah satu bentuk inovasi tersebut adalah pemanfaatan limbah dalam pembuatan batako ramah lingkungan. Kajian ini menguraikan tentang metode eksperimen untuk menemukan kualitas batako dengan penambahan limbah batu bata dan abu sekam padi. Peneliti membuat 60 sampel untuk tiga kelompok perlakuan untuk mendapatkan tingkat penyerapan air, kuat tekan dan sifat kimia batako pada batako normal, batako dengan 1.5% limbah batu bata dan batako dengan penambahan 1,5 limbah batu bata. Hasil analisis menemukan bahwa abu sekam padi memiliki potensi yang lebih baik sebagai bahan tambah batako dibandingkan dengan limbah batu-bata. Hal ini didukung dengan sifat kimia sampel tersebut yang menunjukkan kandungan silika yang lebih baik. Kata kunci: Penyerapan, Kuat Tekan, Pozzola
Comparative Analysis of Temperature External and Internal and Relative Humidity of Electric Egg Incubator
Abstract. This study aimed to determine the ratio of external and internal temperatures and the humidity of the electric egg incubator. This research was designed in three stages. The first stage is the manufacture of an egg incubator, followed by the testing and analysis stage. Based on the data from the measurement and analysis results, it was found that the temperature and humidity in the incubator greatly influenced the quality of the hatching of native chicken eggs. This study used an experimental method and was carried out twice. The first stage of testing and measurement data obtained an average external temperature of 28.5°C, internal 38.2°C, and the humidity of the air in the hatchery room was 56.0%. In contrast, the second stage of testing and measurement obtained data on an average outside temperature of 28.42°C, inside 38,0°C, and humidity in the hatchery room 56.0%. It can be concluded that the ratio of outside and inside temperatures in the incubator must be balanced until the 21st day of hatching. In this case, if the outside temperature rises, the temperature inside the incubator must decrease, with the same relative magnitude. Likewise, the humidity inside must have relatively the same ratio to obtain a perfect hatching process, which is between 50% - 60%
Penerapan Data Mining Dalam Mengklasifikasikan Tingkat Kasus Covid-19 di Sulawesi Selatan Menggunakan Algoritma Naive Bayes
COVID-19 adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus Corona baru, yaitu SARS-CoV-2. Gejala paling umum yang dirasakan oleh korban COVID-19 adalah demam, batuk kering, dan mudah lelah. Virus ini menyebar hampir ke seluruh negara termasuk Indonesia. Penularan virus secara langsung antar manusia akan mengakibatkan peningkatan jumlah kasus. Sejauh ini, terdapat lebih dari 100 kandidat vaksin COVID-19 yang sedang dikembangkan, dan diantaranya masih dalam tahap uji coba. Namun, vaksin yang benar-benar efektif untuk COVID-19 belum ditemukan. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelompokkan tingkat kasus COVID-19 di Sulawesi Selatan sebagai salah satu upaya antisipasi terhadap persebaran virus Corona dan mengurangi jumlah kasus COVID-19. Metode yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan salah satu algoritma data mining yaitu Algoritma Naive Bayes sebagai algoritma klasifikasi dimana pada penelitian ini menggunakan 23 data latih dengan data 2 diantaranya tidak diklasifikasikan dengan tepat sehingga hanya menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 91
