Perbandingan Varian Metode Multiscale Retinex untuk Peningkatan Akurasi Deteksi Wajah Adaboost HAAR-like
No full textFace detection is a popular research in image processing field. Face detection can be used in many application like multi-face recognition, video surveillance, human counter or monitoring. The famous face detection method is developed by Viola-Jones that is named Adaboost using HAAR-like feature. In many research about face detection using Adaboost HAAR-like, it is shown Adaboost HAAR-like face detection method have a limitation in low illumination. In this paper, we want to compare an improvement for increasing accuracy of face detection result using MSRCR and AMSR method. MSRCR and AMSR is an image enhancement method. Finally the results show that MSRCR is better than AMSR for increasing accuracy of face detection result. MSRCR can improve the accuracy until 1,43 times, but AMSR can only improve the accuracy until 1,11 times

Financial ratio is the measurement to know how the company daily operation and help to analyze situation within the organizations.Case based reasoning is one of problem solving methods which use past data to help solve current or future problems. Nearest Neighbor is one of the method in Case based reasoning to test similarity within past data and tested data. In this research, Case based reasoning is tested and implemented to predict future financial reports. This research use sample data from public company which is listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Some financial ratios are used to help future company financial condition.This study found that Case based reasoning is one of the method to predict company financial ratio. No full textThe purpose of this empirical study conducted to determine the factors influencing student academic performance in Perbanas Institute Jakarta. Multiple Discriminant Analysis and Regression Logistic as main statistical multivariate analysis method were used in this study. Results of the analysis will be determined that the Logistic Regression method is more accurate and superior as well as determine the factors that influence students' academic performance Perbanas Institute. Student Academic Performance in the case study students of Perbanas Institute, using the comparison between discriminant analysis method and regression logistic were influenced by factors duration of study, student motivation, student family environmental factors, and Quality of Learning, and E-Learning System. This comparative study reveals that the logistic regression method is much better and more accurate than the Discriminant Analysis method

X jika menyewa seorang manajer profesional tetapi solusi ini tidak dapat dilaksanakan. Upaya lain adalah dengan menerapkan sistem informasi berbasis komputer yang mampu meniru pola pikir seorang manajer profesional dalam mengelola persediaan. Penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan wawancara mendalam dengan pemilik, karyawan, pelanggan utama UD.X, dan praktisi dalam manajemen persediaan serta studi dokumen perusahaan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi pemesanan pembelian UD. X dapat meningkatkan dengan terlebih dahulu membuat kategorisasi pelanggan yang akan membantu perusahaan menentukan perilaku pelanggan. Di samping itu, ada beberapa faktor di dalam perusahaan yang harus diubah sehingga sistem dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal

Get PDFPeningkatan populasi orang lanjut usia di dunia telah disadari oleh beberapa pihak, khususnya pemerintah negara maju sperti Amerika Serikat, Inggris, dan negara Eropa. Dengan banyaknya keterbatasan yang dimiliki oleh orang lanjut usia, maka teknologi informasi mempunyai peran krusial untuk membantu agar mereka dapat hidup lebih mandiri. Beberapa pengembang aplikasi ponsel cerdas sudah membuat aplikasi dengan tema kesehatan, keamanan, komunikasi, dan hiburan yang salh satu target penggunanya adalah orang lanjut usia. Masalah yang muncul adalah banyak aplikasi yang dibuat tidak cocok untuk pengguna lanjut usia karena keterbatasan fisik yang ada. Uji coba dilakukan terhadap pengguna ponsel cerdas untuk kategori usia lanjut usia (berumur 65 tahun keatas) dan pengguna usia muda. Peneliti membandingkan tingkat akurasi pengguna usia lanjut dan usia muda dalam menggunakan aplikasi ponsel cerdas yang memiliki layar sentuh. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat akurasi penggunaan layar sentuh pada pengguna usia lanjut yaitu posisi target, ukuran target, dan besar layar ponsel.  Â
Pembangunan Aplikasi Penyambungan Kabel Fiber Optic Menggunakan Metode Fusion Berbasis Simulasi
Get PDFSplicing of optical fibers have two methods i.e fusion splicing and mechanical splicing. Fusion splicing method is chosen because this method is gives permanent fusion. Fusion splicing is the act of combining two optical fiber end-to-end using heat parallel electrodes. The goal is to combine the two fibers together such that light passing through the fiber scattered or reflected back. Merging optical fiber using this method to connect Fusion Splicing can be done using a tool arc fusion splicer. Arc fusion splicer is a tool that is used to connect the optical fiber using parallel electrode rod smelting technology for accurate light reflection perfect. This study is to build simulation about how to splicing optical fibers using fusion splicing.  Simulation program is chosen because of the price arc fusion splicer is very expensive ranging from millions rupiah in 2014, so this simulation media may be one visualization of the original tools of arc fusion splicer.
