    Analisis Sentimen Berbasis Emoticon pada Komentar Instagram Bahasa Indonesia Menggunakan Naïve Bayes

    The usage of social media growing rapidly, especially after the smartphone was invented. Because the number of social media users was quite a lot, companies prefer to promote their products through social media like Instagram. But, unlike TV or radio, social media is a two-way communication media, that makes users can respond directly to the content created by the company. Comments given by users have various types of sentiment, like positive or negative comments. In addition to using text, comments also often contain emoticons to support the message. This study tries to analyzing sentiment based on the usage of emoticons inside them using the Naïve Bayes algorithm. Based on the test results, the accuracy result is quite good, it is about 96.3% correct in sentiment classification

    We present a report of development phase of a platform which aims to enhance the efficiency of software project management in higher education. The platform accommodates a strategy known as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). The phase consists of several stages, followed by testing of the system and its deployment. For starters, the CI/CD platform will be deployed for software projects of students in the Faculty of Information Technology, Universitas Kristen Maranatha.     In line with the development of Information Technology (IT), it is appropriate for an educational institution to utilize Information Systems (IS) as an infrastructure that supports the academic service process. One of the universities in Central Java that has implemented IS, namely the Academic Information System. The Academic IS has been operating for 17 years since 2004. Therefore, the academic SI should be evaluated to determine its eligibility as an application.     Career Success Model: A Case Study of Information Technology Graduates

    Success in a career is everyone's dream, and it is not an exception for Information Technology graduates who are engaged in information technology-related jobs. Several studies have documented the role of the following two (2) constructs, namely Career Competence (CC) and Lecturer Competence (LC), in Career Success (CS). The authors believe that University Commitment (UC) must be included in this list. This research aims at developing a model that explains and measures the relationship amongst those four (4) constructs. The model that will be developed is based on the Structural Equations Modelling Technique. Respondents participating in this research are IT graduates working in IT-related jobs who have graduated from three (3) private universities in Bandung (Indonesia), namely, Maranatha Christian University (UKM), Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR), and Harapan Bangsa Institute of Technology (ITHB)) with graduating years ranging from 2006 to 2018. The collected data will be processed using IBM SPSS AMOS. This research proves that firstly, LC influences both UC and CC, secondly, UC influences CC, and lastly, CC affects CS.     Pendeteksian Citra Pengunjung Menggunakan Single Shot Detector untuk Analisis dan Prediksi Seasonality

    This study discusses the analysis of retail store with time series method to obtain information about sales trend and seasonality by looking at visitor data and total transaction data at a time period. Data in the form of the number of customers who visit are obtained through CCTV video camera recordings placed at retail store X and the total transaction occurred at retail store X. The visitor counting uses the deep learning method with SSD (Single Shot Detector) object detection framework and MobileNet architecture. The library used to count the number of customers visiting the store is OpenCV, Pandas, Numpy, Dlib, and Imutils. The number of customers visiting the store will then be compared to the number of transactions that occur at the same time so that a conversion rate can be obtained. From here, we can see sales trend that occur at any time. Time series analysis is also carried out to determine and analyze the pattern of data obtained based on certain time to predict the things that need to be done in the future. Through this research, information has been successfully obtained related to seasonality patterns, value and interpretation of retail conversion rates, models for predicting the number of visitors and transactions, and answering the hypothesis with the Wilcoxon test method obtained a p-value of 0,014 which states that the data pattern of the number of consumers is not the same as the transaction data pattern

    Water quality is very important for plant’s growth and development. Some of the important part of the water qualities are TDS(Total Dissolved Solid), EC(Electrical Conductivity), pH(Acidity). Cultivation inside a greenhouse provides some benefits but also have some deficiency, such as lack of soil nutrition because most plants inside greenhouse uses non soil growing media. To overcome the deficiency, An automated and remote system is needed to ease the controlling of water quality and nutrition feeding to the plant. This study aims to create low-cost greenhouse water quality monitoring that automatically display the real time data on a website. This research is done by using an engineering design methods. This system can be integrated with auto-pot watering system . The result shows that the system can adjust the TDS and pH as programmed, which are TDS= 1000-1200, and pH =5.5-6.5(these are recommended needs for Tomato plant). The TDS sensor in this reseach have the limitation of reading 0~1500ppm

    White blood cells are cells that makeup blood components that function to fight various diseases from the body (immune system). White blood cells are divided into five types, namely basophils, eosinophils, neutrophils, lymphocytes, and monocytes. Detection of white blood cell types is done in a laboratory which requires more effort and time. One solution that can be done is to use machine learning such as Support Vector Machine (SVM) with Scale Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) feature extraction. This study uses a dataset of white blood cell images that previously carried out a pre-processing stage consisting of cropping, resizing, and saliency. The saliency method can take a significant part in image data and. The SIFT feature extraction method can provide the location of the keypoint points that SVM can use in studying and recognizing white blood cell objects. The use of region-contrast saliency with kernel radial basis function (RBF) yields the best accuracy, precision, and recall results. Based on the test results obtained in this study, saliency can improve the accuracy, precision, and recall of SVM on the white blood cell image dataset compared to without saliency

    Computer network conditions that are dynamic and also complex make network operators often make mistakes in the configuration of a network device. However, these mistakes can be resolved by the emergence of a centralized programming approach which is now known as Software Defined Network (SDN). In addition, with the development of information technology, several services in computer networks also grabbed a lot of attention from the world, such as video streaming services. A video streaming service that is so massive is capable of having an impact on data traffic on computer networks. In SDN networks, controllers are a core component of this architecture. Currently, many different types of SDN controllers can be used, however, choosing a controller in an SDN network must be an important concern. This is related to the performance of the SDN controller which is a requirement for SDN network development. This research will analyze the performance of the video streaming service using the Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP) streaming protocol in testing two SDN controllers, namely Pox and Opendaylight. Based on the tests that have been carried out, it produces Quality of Service (QoS) values in the form of throughput, delay, and jitter. The Pox controller excels in the value of QoS delay and throughput. As for the jitter value, both Pox and Opendaylight controllers have good indexes

    Extracurricular activities at MAN 1 Lamongan are still determined without any support from the system. Students are only given extracurricular information and can register according to the conditions if interested. This makes the extracurricular that students have chosen does not fully match their abilities. The result is a decrease in the number of members who are active in extracurricular activities due to loss of interest. A web-based system was developed to assist MAN 1 Lamongan in determining extracurricular according to interests and talents. Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) is the system framework and Certainty Factor (CF) is the algorithm for determining the certainty value. The result is that with test data of 68 students, the system recommends extracurricular well.
