    Pengembangan LKS pada Materi Cahaya dan Alat Optik dengan Model Inquiry Berbasis Karakter untuk Siswa SMP

    This research aims to investigate the effect of developing character-based phisic based character inquiry models for junior high school students. This research used the type of Research and Development (R&D) with Quasi Experimental Design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The results show: worksheet light and optical instruments based on inquiry models are included in the criteria are very suitable to be used as a study guide for students of class VIII SMP witha presentation on the feasibilityof the worksheet  96,87%; There is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students who use the Science worksheet  light and optical inquiry model character and students who do not use Science worksheet  light and optical inquiry model character; The application of the Natural Science worksheet  light and optical characterized by the inquiry model can improve students' understanding of the subject matter of light and optical devices. Improved learning outcomes cognitive aspects including the criteria are; and The use of science worksheets light and optical characterized by inquiry models can develop student character that is within the criteria of culture

    A video analysis experiment guide has been made on kinematics material using the pro logger program for prospective physics teachers. This study aims to see the results of the feasibility of an experimental guide. This research method uses design and development research (DDR). The guide is validated by user experts and material experts with an average value that can be sequentially 79.69% and 87.5%. So it can be concluded that this video analysis guide is acceptable and feasible to be used by students

    Pengembangan Instrumen Skala Berpikir Reflektif untuk Mengukur Level Kemampuan Berpikir Reflektif Mahasiswa Calon Guru Fisika

    The purpose of this study is to develop a reflective thinking scale instrument to measure the level of reflective thinking ability of prospective physics students. This research method used the DDR (Design Development Research) method with the Tools and Research model. The reflective thinking scale developed is a modification of the Reflective Thinking Kember which consists of 24 items each consisting of 6 definitions. The level of Kember reflective thinking namely; 1) Habitual Actions, 2) Understanding, 3) Reflective, 4) Critical Reflective. The research sample was 138 prospective physics teacher students who had taken thermodynamics courses. Data analysis techniques in this study used the CVR (Content Validity Ratio) for content validation analysis, Product Moment Correlation (construct validity test), Cronbach alpha (Reliability) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis to find a model match. The results show that the instrument is valid, reliable and the Goodness of Fit index. It is therefore denied that the instruments developed are valid, reliable and suitable for measuring the level of reflective thinking ability.

    This research aimed to find out the effectiveness of Flipped Classroom model to self efficacy and student concept mastery. This Research was conducted at SMAN in Bandar Lampung. The sample of this research was 22 students of X MIA1 as an experimental class and 21 students of X MIA2 as a control class. The research design used was Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Based on the result of self efficacy ANCOVA test with Fcount>Ftable  (15,28>4,09) and the result of concept mastery with Fcount>Ftable  (15,49>4,09),  it can be stated that  there are differences in mean of self efficacy and mastery of student concepts in the experimental class and control class which means that Flipped Classroom gives a significant impact to the self efficacy and student concept mastery. The conclusion of this research is Flipped Classroom learning model can improve self efficacy and ability to master student concept, this is indicated by the average difference of N-Gain self efficacy in experimental class 0.75 with high category and N-gain mastery of concept in experimental class 0,70 with high category. &nbsp

    The aim of this research is to apply Torricelli law in order to determine flow velocity of fluid by calculating the rate of change of gallon bottled water volume by using the derived equation and measuring the time required until the water in the gallon is exhausted. This research used experimental method by varying the height of liquid in gallons so that the variation of fluid velocity and the rate of volume change are obtained. The results show that the maximum fluid velocity was 0.22 m/s with a rate of change of volume of 0,010 m3/s, and the minimum fluid velocity of 0.063 m/s with a rate of change in volume of 0,0028 m3/s

    This study aimed to describe the improvement of students' critical thinking skills in Newton's Law subject after generative learning model was implemented. The type of this research was pre-experimental research with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of this study was all eighth grade students of MTs Makarim Al-akhlak, Singkawang City. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling. The research instrument used was a description test. The data obtained was not normally distributed, so the data was analyzed using non-parametric statistical test namely Mc Nemar Test. From the calculation results, it was obtained the value of χ2obs. > χ2c.v. or 6.125 >  3.841, then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted at the significance level α = 0.05. Therefore, it could be concluded that there was an improvement in students' critical thinking skills in Newton's law subject after generative learning model was implemeted

    Analisis Kesiapan dan Strategi Monitoring Evaluasi Program Pengembangan Perkuliahan Gelombang dan Optik Berbasis Game

    This study is a survey focused on describing how the level of readiness of pre-service physics teachers and descriptions the elements of strategy to monitor and evaluate the program of wave and optic course based on game. The survey involved 41 students (9 M, 32 F) who joined waves and optics courses in physics education program at one of university in Ternate, Indonesia. Data were collected through questionnaire and analyzed by using descriptive technique. The results show that pre-service physics teachers in the population can be categorized into good in readiness in the implementation the program of wave and optic based on game. The readiness was supported by several indicators which are readiness related to game experience, game play frequency, game play device, game ownership support, device ownership and internet access capability, students' perception about the use of games in physics learning, the ability to design game, the need analysis for training to design educational games. The model used for program monitoring and evaluation was CIPP model (Context, Input, Process and Product)

    The development of information and communication technology in the 21st century developed so fast. Therefore, various life skills are needed to be able to keep pace with the rapid development of technology. One of them is creative thinking skills. The skill of creative thinking can be cultivated through local potential physics-based learning. This study aims to determine whether there is an increase in creative thinking skills of students who conduct local potential based learning. The research method used was quasi experiment. The instruments used were tests and observation sheets. Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that there is an increase in creative thinking skills of students who conducted physics learning based on local potential of 0.15975 in the low category

    Learning science is considered to be difficult and complicated for most students since it requires high reasoning and imagination. This study aims to increase the motivation of students in Primary School to learn science using water rockets interspersed with game. The results of the research show that there is an increase in learning motivation of learners in Lesson Subject. The design of training and games connected with PAKEM shows a positive and intensive response for students. The results showed that more than 90% of the learners provide a positive response to learning.  In addition, students’ motivation and learning activities were improved during the learning process

    Scientific knowledge as well as experiment keeps on growing every day.  Experiments flourished in the seventeenth century. Previously, information about world development was obtained by connecting the roles of prominent epistemology. Experimentation is defined as a planned program for restoring hypotheses by providing empirical evidence to people. Science is a process of seeking the truth. Activities in finding the truth involves a series of scientific method including experiment. The development of physics history is divided into five periods. Period one is indicated by the absence of systematic and independent experiment. In period two, experimental methods had been accountable, and well accepted as a scientific issue. In period three, (investigations developed more rapidly when classical physics development began to be foundation of current famous quantum physics). Period four which is called The Old Quantum Mechanics is indicated by the invention of microscopic phenomena. Period five is well known by the emergence of new quantum mechanics theory
