    No full text
The Purpose of the research  to analyze the needs of an appropriate in physics learning E-LKPD,  the Covid-19 pandemic era. The research  used a qualitative descriptive method. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 4 Bengkulu City. The research subjects are students, teachers, and vice headmaster of curriculum. Collecting data using questionnaires and interview guidelines. Data analysis used Miles-Huberman. The data validity technique uses source triangulation. The Result of research  provides several conclusions that no E-LKPD is suitable for online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic era, so it is necessary to develop an E-LKPD that is following the Covid-19 emergency curriculum. E-LKPD in question is E-LKPD which can improve students' critical thinking skills with inquiry learning models or problem-based learning (PBL)

This study aims to make a temperature sensor using coil wire with an indicator in the form of light intensity and to test the sensitivity of iron, copper, and nichrome wires in responding to changes in temperature. The temperature sensor unit consists of a coil of 250 turns, connected in series with a 3V/32W DC lamp and a 3 volt constant voltage source. As a medium, a room illuminated by a 100 watt lamp was used, where the lamp voltage is adjusted from 50 V to 150 V via slide regulator to produce a medium temperature from 30°C to 100°C, while for the indicator lamps, the light intensity of the lamp is measured with a luxmeter UT383. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between changes in medium temperature to light intensity for copper and iron coils while the nichrome coil is not. From the linear regression on temperature and light intensity data, the sensor sensitivity of copper and iron wire coils is (1.34 ±0.06) lux/°C and (7.33 ± 0.43) lux/°C, respectively. From these values can be known that the temperature sensor of the iron coil is more sensitive than copper, but the copper coil is more precise in indicating temperature than the iron coil. From this research, a temperature sensor unit made of copper and iron coils has been successfully made to measure the temperature of the medium from 30°C to 100°C using a light intensity indicator

The background of the research is that skills are needed in accordance with the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, especially in the 21st century, namely critical thinking skills. For this reason, research is needed to determine the description of critical thinking skills. This research is a preliminary study that aims to describe the ability of critical thinking skills in learning science physics. Descriptive research method using google form. The research subjects were 33 students of SMP Negeri 59 Palembang. The results obtained are 25% of students are able to focus questions, 30% analyze questions, 32% consider reliable sources or not, 17% observe, consider observation reports, 39% do and consider deduction results, 38% do and consider induction results, 42% make and determine the value of judgment, 25% define, consider definitions, 21% identify assumptions, 44% determine actions, and 54% interact with others. The description of the critical thinking skills of junior high school students in the 4.0 industrial revolution era Physics science material is still in the low category, judging by the percentage of student responses. Suggestions for further research on efforts that can overcome the low critical thinking skills of junior high school students on Physics Science material

Review Penggunaan Reduced Graphene Oxide/TiO2 sebagai Fotoelektrode pada Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell

    No full text
Many studies on graphene applied to DSSC have been carried out with the aim of increasing the efficiency of power conversion in organic solar cells. This research was conducted to find the best composition of soar cells so that they can be utilized and converted into electrical energy. The use of graphene as a photoanode can increase the conversion efficiency along with good electrical conductivity values in graphene. This review aims to analyze the process of increasing power conversion efficiency in DSSC caused by the addition of graphene to TiO2 which acts as a photoanode in DSSC during the last five years. The results of the measurement of DSSC efficiency increased when the addition of reduced graphene oxide to TiO2 was carried out

This research was conducted to determine the characteristics of the climate and its relationship to the haze disaster in the city of Palembang by utilizing data from the BMKG observation station, namely the Palembang Climatology Station and the Sultan Mahmud Baharudin II Meteorological Station, from 1981 to 2020. The research method used is secondary data research with a quantitative approach. The analysis used is according to the rules of the Expert Team on Climate Change Detection and indices ETCCDI. Trend analysis was carried out using the non-parametric Mankendal statistical and sens tests. The indices that experienced a significant trend were the temperature index, which indicates that the temperature in Palembang is increasing from time to time. The relationship between dry days has a correlation level of >0.9. This shows a close relationship between haze disasters and days without rain (CDD). The months prone to smog occur in June, July, August and September (JJAS)

This study aims to examine the decomposition method of liquid waste in the home industry, especially in the tofu industry, by using non-thermal plasma and electrocoagulant methods that are environmentally friendly and with low energy. In this study, the plasma method, electro-coagulant method, and a combination of both (electro-coagulant followed by plasma method and plasma followed by electro-coagulant method) were used to decompose liquid waste in the tofu industry. The results showed that non-thermal plasma followed by the electrocoagulation method was the most effective in reducing the T.D.S. value of 1983 ppm (the minimum value of the total control T.D.S. was around 2702 ppm), the minimum value of electrical conductivity (E.C.) was around 3967 (μs/cm), and also obtained a value of 3967 (μs/cm). pH 7.0. Based on the research results, non-thermal plasma combined with the electrocoagulant method can be applied to more optimally decompose liquid waste, especially in the tofu industry. The combination method of plasma and electrocoagulation to decompose the tofu industrial wastewater, which is environmentally friendly, is the novelty of this researc
