A Corpus-based Teaching Design of Junior High School English Reading from the Perspective of Schema Theory
This paper takes the reading text The Night The Earth Didn't Sleep in Unit 4 of English for senior high School published by People\u27s Education Press as an example to probe into the concrete process of designing English reading teaching activities assisted by corpus in senior high school under the guidance of schema theory. Through the word frequency list extracted from corpus, students are guided to predict the main topic of the text, so as to realize the lead-in of reading text, and trained to predict and to grasp the main facts, further to explore the content of articles and paragraphs through keyword list and concordance line, so as to map the text structure, which may contribute to students\u27 reading skills of skimming and grasping key information; Finally, the corpus-based approach can also be used in the teaching of vocabulary and grammar at the linguistic level after acquiring the structure and content of the text at a macro level

oai:ojs2.theshillonga.com:article/1This study explores the effects of teachers’ psychosocial factors on teaching effectiveness in secondary schools in Ilemela Municipality. The study employed the psychosocial theory developed by Erikson (1959). The mixed research approach was used. The sample size was 92 secondary school students and 100 teachers which was obtained using simple random and purposive sampling techniques. The researcher employed questionnaires to collect quantitative data and interviews to collect qualitative data. Quantitative data was analysed using SPSS in which findings were presented using frequency distribution tables, while qualitative data was presented using thematic analysis. The findings show that there are psychosocial factors that do influence teachers’ decision-making in relation to assessment and evaluation as well as planning and implementation such as preparation of Teaching and Learning, assessment process, preparation of assessment tools, evaluation remarks, affect evaluation decision, and affect evaluation strategy. This implies that the psychological factors existing in the working area affect the decision-making process related to assessment and evaluation. Also, there are different strategies to be planned and implemented by school management and teachers to overcome the psychosocial factors they experience in their work contexts. The study recommends that educational leaders should ensure that public primary school teachers are provided with training on how to handle psychosocial problems

Integration of Digital Technology in Academics
The report aims to identify level of technological integration in academics. Digital literacy enhances learning and knowledge of learners. The benefits of digital literacy are evident in the students’ progress. Active learning is obtained through digital technology as well as literacy enhancement. Considering these benefits, an analysis of technology integration is conducted.
The analysis reveals that desired level of technology integration is not achieved in academics. There are several barriers of poor technology integration. Poor technological infrastructure, budget deficit and poor access to technological resources are identified. Lack of time to devote learning of technological competencies is also reported by the analysis. Lack of resources, limited access, insufficient knowledge and skills of teachers and support staffs, lack of support from administrative and teachers, as well as other factors are found responsible for poor technological integration in academics. Institutional barriers are also identified as barriers such as poor leadership or structure of academic institutions. Leader’s inability to understand relevance of technology for learning is a major hindrance. In assessment, teachers do not have sufficient time to implement technology thus they do not use the technological aspects fruitfully. Lack of professional development of the teachers is also a barrier. Many teachers and supportive staff want to maintain the status quo and do not feel that technology integration is required. Such attitudes also prevent technology integration in the academic institutions.
Thus, several recommendations are provided by the report such as providing professional development opportunities to the teachers, creating a shared vision, involving stakeholdes, findings cheaper alternatives for digital tools use, seeking grants and funds from government and private organizations, addressing resistance to change by providing training regarding benefits of technology adaption in the classroom etc. the recommendations also include rotating classes and students in groups for collaborative learning, appointing students helpers, allotting more times to the teachers for technological competencies, arranging regular meetings for technology integration, addressing issues of lack of resources, etc. These recommendations can help the academic institutions to integrate technology well in academic
Decoding Iran’s Proxy Strategy: Determent or Destabilization? A Review and Scientific Commentary
In Middle Eastern geopolitics, Iran’s use of proxy forces has become an important strategy that shapes the region and challenges traditional ideas about deterrence and stability. By strategically placing armed groups across Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen, Iran exercises influence over these territories that often blur the boundary between state and non-state actors. This complex web of alliances raises critical questions: Is Tehran’s approach a calculated attempt to deter enemies while projecting power? Or is it just a recipe for more destabilization in an already volatile area? In this review article we will examine Iran’s proxy strategy closely looking at its historical background, motivations behind it as well as implications on both regional security and international relations; we will see whether this is a style in the Iranian political structure for security maintenance- like or unlike the styles in the American Politics
An Overview Regarding the U.S domestic Economic Strategies: Role of Think Tanks
Even though federal government of U.S play the primary role in managing the nations various systems such as fiscal policy, healthcare, defense and welfare, the existence of different political ideologies plays a part in national and international stability[1] , in sense that each ideology strategy in managing economic issues reach a different conclusion, proved by the numerous economical tragedies such as the greater recession , implements the bases of each ideologies perspective on government\u27s role in reducing economic inequality, addressing job displacement due to technological change, and striking a balance between free market principles and government intervention during economic crises.1 To discuss the economical view of each side, one must fully understand in clarity the differences between two ideologies, in simplest form liberalism is described by the government\u27s sole responsibly in preserving freedom protections its citizens individual liberty while also minimizing its intervention in its citizens lives, on the other hand, conservatism allows the government vast influence thus to conserve the established norms and institutions such as the cultural and religious traditions of its nation. While this is nearly the correct definition of what each ideology stands for, such political movements do tend to abuse power through the ideological privileges they stand for. Furthermore, the existence of the federal government is crucial in interfering with conservative or liberal administrations when their policies threaten economic stability. Federal governments’ regulatory agencies such as federal reserves and the Environmental protection agencies exist to act as checks on extreme economic policies. Under a conservative administration that Favors deregulation and reduced taxes, the federal government may intervene to prevent excessive corporate power or environmental harm that could arise from such policies.[2] Conversely, in a liberal administration pushing for expansive social programs or aggressive tax hikes, the federal government’s budgetary and constitutional frameworks can limit excessive spending or prevent overreach that may stifle economic growth.[3] Thus, regardless of the political ideology in power, the federal government ensures a balanced approach to economic management by safeguarding essential public interests while keeping national economic stability.

A Study on High School English Teacher’s Feedback Based on Conversation Analysis Theory: Taking Listening and Speaking Class as an Example
The English Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools puts forward that teaching should focus on the improvement of students\u27 language ability. The interaction between teachers and students is an important part of the classroom and one of the most important ways to improve learners’ language ability. English teachers’ classroom discourse is an important medium for English teachers to organize classroom teaching and impart knowledge. Classroom turn-taking can reflect the fluency, quantity and style of classroom communication. Based on the theory of conversation analysis, this research takes one of the 15th National High School English High-Quality Classes as the research object, listening and speaking lessen as the research class type, and transcribes and analyzes classroom teaching video. Through the research, this research aims to find the types of teachers’ classroom feedback used frequently in classroom and the influence of teachers’ discourse pattern on students’ turn-taking. And the writer finds that teacher tends to use single positive feedback most frequently in classroom, and IRF discourse pattern is the major discourse structure in the classroom. So students have a little chance to get the turn from their teachers and most of the time the class is still dominated by the teacher, and students don’t need to open a new turn.
