A Review of Translation Teaching Researches from the perspective of Eco-Translatology
Eco-translatology is a holistic study of translation from an ecological perspective. It began in China in 2001. It has filled the gap in the study of the "ecological dimension" of translation studies and promoted the development of translation theory in China. This article gives a brief overview of Eco-translatology studies. The author classifies the current translation teaching researches under the perspective of Eco-translatology; point outs the existing problems and shortcomings; and puts forward some opinions on translation teaching researches from the view of Eco-translatology, expecting to provide reference for future ecological translation studie
The Effect of Human Resources Management Skills on Accounting Information Quality in Kurdistan Public Sector
The article’s purpose is to measure the impact of human resources management skills on accounting information quality in kurdistan public sector. To enable the study to measure human resource management skills at public sectors in Kurdistan region of Iraq, the researchers used five human resources management skills elements, first is communication skill, second is flexibility skill, third is negotiation skill, fourth is ethical action skill, and fifth is compassion skill. To assess the current study, the researchers used a quantitative research method in the form of a survey. The questionnaire was delivered at random to 84 administrative employees from several government departments in the Kurdistan region. The researchers, on the other hand, were able to collect 78 completed questionnaires. The results showed that as for the impact of communication skill on accounting information system was found the value of Beta is .632 with significant level .000 this indicated that first research hypothesis is supported which is Communication skill as human resource management skills has a positive and significant influence on accounting information system. As for the impact of Flexibility skill on accounting information system was found the value of Beta is .611 with significant level .000 this indicated that second research hypothesis is supported which is Flexibility skill as human resource management skills has a positive and significant influence on accounting information system. As for the impact of Negotiation skill on accounting information system was found the value of Beta is .642 with significant level .000 this indicated that third research hypothesis is supported which is Negotiation skill as human resource management skills has a positive and significant influence on accounting information system. Examining the Effect of Tablets to Enhance Essay Writing Competencies of Primary School Students
Writing is one of the most important aspects of any standardized test all over the world. Much emphasis is hence placed on improving writing standards in schools and other forms of educational institutions. With improved technological infrastructure, digital devices such as Tablets are increasingly being used in the teaching and learning process.
This study aimed to explore the effects of Tablets in supporting grade VI students to enhance narrative essay writing skills. This particular study utilised 14 sessions comprising of 50 minutes each in both control and experimental situations. The control group is a simulation of a face-to-face teaching scenario, while the students in the experimental group replicated the non-contact teaching set-up. A total of 49 grade VI students from two primary schools selected using a convenience sampling technique participated in the study. The data for the study was collected through written tests both before and after the intervention. The analyses were conducted using descriptive statistics and t-tests.
The results showed that the differences in writing scores between control and experimental groups were statistically significant. Based on this finding, the use of Tablets in teaching essay writing may be considered helpful for primary schools irrespective of the school location

The Effect of Corporate Governance Mechanism and Submission Quality of Financial Report on the Financial report Integrity Moderated with Political Connection
This study aims to determine the role of corporate governance mechanisms and the quality of financial report submission on financial report integrity by placing political connections as a moderating variable. The research method used is a quantitative method, with the unit of analysis being the company. The sample selection technique is purposive sampling, the selected sample is 43 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2019 period, so the number of observation data is 215 annual data. The data analysis used is panel data regression. The results of the study indicate that the corporate governance mechanism is not entirely able to provide a positive correlation to improving the integrity of financial statements, one of which is that independent commissioners may not be able to balance the decision-making process and to protect the rights of stakeholders, especially minority shareholders. Political connections are also very important to be a concern because they can influence existing governance, to improve reports with high integrity. This finding is very useful for investors to be careful in understanding the information contained in the financial statements because the corporate governance mechanism and the existence of political connections can affect its integrity. This political connection is often considered to weaken the mechanism of good corporate governance and the quality of the submission of financial reports which in turn can reduce the existence of the high financial report integrity
Awareness of Students Regarding the Anti-Hazing Law in Nueva Ecija
This study aimed to determine the awareness of the students of Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), Philippines regarding Republic Act No. 8049 also known as Anti-Hazing Law.
The researchers utilized the descriptive research to analyze data on the profile of the respondents which include their age, gender and religion. Tackled likewise were the provisions of the Anti-Hazing Law which the students were most aware of. The factors that affect the awareness and the possible reasons for their lack of awareness were also studied.
This research contributes to the existing body of academic work by using descriptive data collected from 660 students of Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST). Questionnaire-checklist which consists of a number of items in a set format was utilized as main tool for collecting data. The findings of the study showed that the age ranges of the respondents are 18-21 years old implying their lack of understanding in the law’s provisions. The results also showed that the top three provisions of Anti-Hazing Law which the respondents were not aware of what section 2, 4a and 4b, respectively. Also, it was found out the top factor that affect the students’ awareness of the said law were their lack of understanding on the different provisions
Women’s Emancipation in the Western Grasslands of Cameroon, 1975-2010: Inculcating International Conventions
Every 8th March is celebrated in Cameroon as the International Women’s day in a bid to galvanise and continue to create awareness, on the strides made by women in so far as women emancipation is concerned worldwide. All these stemmed from without and within as it were international and national obligation to ensure that women should not still be relegated behind in matters of development. Ever since this wave of thought began in the 1940s with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and beyond the women of the Western Grasslands of Cameroon have come a long way but were still to reach their destination as far as full emancipation was concerned. What were the obstacles? Through observatory and statutory data, and manifestations, gender equality was still far-fetched when it came to customary tenets of ethnic groups found in this region. However, International Conferences, National and Non-Governmental Organisations have played greater roles in enhancing the emancipation of women in various domains as examined by this paper in the Western Grasslands of Cameroon. Hence government should come up with more mechanisms with which more enforcement of international and national laws should be upheld to the fulles
Explorative Study on Leadership Styles of Heads of the Public Technical Training Institutes in Bhutan
The research is undertaken to ascertain leadership styles deployed by heads of public Technical Training Institutes (TTIs) in Bhutan. Quantitative research method was used for this study. A population of 160 staff members of six public TTIs was targeted where 122 staff members responded to the survey questionnaires. All the data were collected via Google Form and were analyzed with descriptive statistics.
The finding of the research revealed that democratic leadership style was most prevalent among the heads of public TTIs at high level with the mean score of 3.66. It was closely followed by laissez-faire leadership style with mean score of 3.58 at high-level. The least prevalent leadership style among the heads of public TTIs was found to be autocratic leadership style which scored moderate level with mean score of 3.27.
Thus, it was concluded that heads of the public TTIs employed all types of classical leadership styles though at different level. An in-depth study on leadership styles of heads of public technical institutes in Bhutan with various variables is proposed for future researcher
Employee Commitment: The Relationship between Employee Commitment and Job Satisfaction
The aim of the current study is to examine the association between employee commitment and job satisfaction at selected private universities in Kurdistan region of Iraq. Organizational commitment predicts work variables, for example, turnover, hierarchical citizenship conduct, and employment execution. A percentage of the elements, for example, part stretch, strengthening, work shakiness and employability, and appropriation of authority have been appeared to be associated with a laborer\u27s feeling of organizational commitment. This research was carried out at the three different private universities. A quantitative method was used to gather relevant information regarding the relationship between organizational commitment and job satisfaction. The results revealed that all three independent factors are correlated with job satisfaction. The result can be used as a guiding method for the university’s management to increase their employees’ commitment. Job satisfaction has a positive relation with employee commitment if employees are satisfied, they are organizationally committed we found that job satisfaction has a positive impact on employee commitmen
The relationship between emotional intelligence and well-being among women academics of Royal University of Bhutan
This qualitative study examined the Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) women academics’ understanding of relationship between emotional intelligence (EI) and well-being. The participants selected through a purposive sampling consisted of 14 women academics from RUB colleges spread across the country. The data were collected using a semi-structured interview, and analyzed with thematic analysis procedures. The findings revealed RUB women academics’ concept of relationship between EI and well-being in terms of intrapersonal and interpersonal relationship, and general mood. The findings also revealed the participants’ awareness of the impact of EI on their personal and professional well-being. Further, the findings highlighted the challenges the academics faced to be emotionally intelligent in all situations, and aspiration for enhancement of their EI through trainings.
