Türkiye’de Okul Etkililiği Araştırmalarına Genel Bir Bakış
Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye’deki okul etkililiğine ilişkin araştırmaları
çeşitli yönleriyle incelemek ve gelecekte yapılacak araştırmalar için öneriler
geliştirmektir. Bu maksatla, doküman incelemesi yöntemi kullanılarak, okul
etkililiği konusunda yapılmış 39 adet araştırma çeşitli yönleriyle incelenmiştir.
Sonuç olarak; Türkiye’de okul etkililiği araştırmalarının, özellikle 2000’li yıllarda
yoğunlaştığı, araştırmaların büyük çoğunluğunun yüksek lisans tezi olarak
hazırlandığı veya makale olarak yayımlandığı belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca araştırmacıların
daha önce geliştirilen ölçekleri kullanmayı daha çok tercih ettikleri, hazırlanan
ölçeklerde geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmalarına yeterince önem verilmediği,
yürütülen çalışmaların devlet okullarında daha yoğun bir şekilde yürütüldüğü,
araştırmaların örneklem çeşitlemesi konusunda sınırlı kaldığı, nicel olarak
desenlenen çalışmalara daha fazla yer verildiği görülmüştür. Bu sonuçlara dayalı
olarak, gelecekte yapılacak okul etkililiği araştırmalarına yönelik bazı öneriler
geliştirilmiştir
Kamu diplomasisi
Eski çağlardan beri milletler, politik amaçlarına erişmek için birbirleriyle çeşitli yöntemlerle iletişim kurma yoluna gitmişlerdir. İletişim yolları her zamanın şartlarına özgü nitelikler taşımıştır. Sağlanan diyaloglar, kimi zaman kişiler, kimi zaman belirli bir zümre, kimi zaman ise belirli kurumlar tarafından yürütülmüştür.
Stratejik bir iletişim aracı olan Kamu Diplomasisi, yeni Dünyanın diplomatik aracı haline gelmektedir. Günümüz Uluslararası ilişkilerinde ulusal menfaatlerin sürdürülmesinde eski diplomatik yöntemler yeterli olmamaktadır. Devletler, diplomatik ilişkilerini sadece uluslararası kuruluşlar veya hükümetler arası müzakerelerden ziyade ilgili halkları da hedefleyen politikalar geliştirmek zorunda kalmıştır. Uluslararası İlişkileri yönlendirmede kamuoyunun önem kazanmasından dolayı Kamu Diplomasisi, uluslararası politikanın vazgeçilmez unsurları olmaya başlamıştır. Birçok devlet uluslararası arenada ve yabancı kamuoylarının nezdinde prestij kazanmak için aktif olarak kamu diplomasisi çalışmaları yürütmektedir.
Devletlerin yumuşak gücü olan kamu diplomasisi ile uluslararası ilişkiler, diplomasi kurumlarının hakimiyetinden çıkıp farklı aktörlerin de etkinliğinin söz konusu olduğu bir alan olmaya başlamıştır. Uluslararası arenada devlet tarafından, diğer devletlerin politik aktörlerini etkilemek için, yine resmi kurumların da katkısı bulunmak üzere sivil inisiyatifin karar verme sürecinde ve bu kararların uygulama aşamasında uluslararası ilişkilerde diğer ülke ve milletlerin algısında bir yargı oluşturma çabası olarak tanımlanan kamu diplomasisinin önemi herkesçe kabul gören bir gerçektir.
Bu çalışmada, günümüz dünyasında yeni bir dış politika biçimi olan kamu diplomasisi kavramını ve etkinliği ele alınmaya çalışılacaktır
The areal development analysis of Elazığ city according to the Google Earth (2003-2015) Data
Elazığ kenti, 1 yüzyılı aşan bir yerleşim tarihine sahiptir. Kuruluşundan günümüze hızla büyüyen kent, 2003-2015 yılları arasında % 32 oranında alansal genişleme göstermiştir. Elazığ kentinin hızlı büyümesinde; inşaat sektörünün ulusal bir ekonomi politikası olarak desteklenmesinin yanında, toplumun “kentsel kalite” arayışının da önemli etkileri bulunmaktadır. Kentin yeni yerleşim alanlarının nüfuslanmasında kent içi göçler etkili olmuştur. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın amacı; Elazığ kentinin son yıllarda girmiş olduğu büyüme sürecini ele almak ve nedenlerini açıklamaktır. Bu çalışmada Google Earth programının güncel ve arşiv görüntüleri esas alınmıştır. Elazığ kentine ait en eski Google Earth verisi 2003 yılına, en güncel veri ise 2015 yılına aittir. Google Earth verileri, yakın dönemli kentsel gelişmenin nitelik ve niceliğinin ayrıntılı olarak değerlendirilmesinde önemli imkânlar sunmaktadır.The city of Elazığ has a settlement history in excess of one century. The city that grows fast since its
inception, showed 32 % areal development between the years of 2003-2015. "Urban quality" preferred by
society, besides supporting as a national economic policy of the construction industry in the development
of Elazığ have significant effects. Urban migration has been influential on the population growth rate of
the new residential area in the city. In this context, the aim of this study is to handle the development
process of the city of Elazığ in recent years and to explain the reasons. This study is based on current and
archival footage of the Google Earth program. The earliest Google Earth data which belong to the city of
Elazığ was recorded in 2003, and the most recent data were in 2015. The Google Earth data provide
significant opportunities in the evaluation as detailed of quality and quantity of the near-term urban
development
Mechanical and fracture characteristics of self-compacting concretes containing different percentage of plastic waste powder
This study addresses the mechanical and fracture properties of self-compacting concretes (SCCs) containing plastic waste (PW) powder in varying amounts used as a cement replacement material. Partial amount of cement was replaced by PW powder at 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% by weight so as to design six SCC mixtures with a constant slump flow of 700 ± 30 mm, total binder content of 550 kg/m3 and water-to-binder (w/b) ratio of 0.35. Mechanical characteristics of SCCs were tested for compressive and splitting tensile strengths, net flexural strength as well as modulus of elasticity at 28 day. Moreover, failure characteristics of the concrete were monitored via three-point bending test on the notched beams. The findings indicated that mechanical properties of PVC powder modified SCCs decreased while the concretes became less brittle
Effects of Temperature on Clay Treated With Base
Clay and clay minerals, has been one of the common workspace art, in many disciplines. Today, clays plasticity, moisture retention and strength besides organic or displacement with iodine all kinds of inorganic, high adsorption and other technological properties such as catalytic activity are used as industrial raw materials in the area of more than 100. Regarding the use of clay areas; from ceramics and cement production; paper, petrochemical and construction industries; vegetable oil, beer, wine and fruit juices of the bleached; radioactive waste and waste water to be cleaned; medicine, soap, detergent, diaphragm, electrodes, catalyst, rubber and plastic production can be listed a wide range of area [1, 2]. Adsorption properties of clay are due to wide surface area, surface functional groups and microporosity. Clay allowing them to use for different purposes in different areas, they have the common presence of clay minerals in nature are superior chemical and physical properties [3]. The purpose of this study examining changes imposed by heat effects in structures of clay that used as natural adsorbent. “C-Reactive Protein and Adrenomedullin Levels in Capoeta umbla (Heckel, 1843) as Novel Bioindicators for Biomonitoring the Microbial Contamination in Inland Water of Tunceli, Turkey”
The present study focused on changes in the Creactive
protein (CRP) and adrenomedullin (ADM)
levels in the liver and gill tissues of Capoeta umbla
as biomarkers of environmental pollution and
ecosystem health in inland waters of Tunceli
(Turkey). The CRP levels in liver and gills were not
significantly changed in March and September at
every site (p>0.05) except for site 3 in gill tissues
(p<0.05). The results of statistical analysis indicate
that significant differences in CRP levels were found
in liver and gills among sites (p<0.05), but no
changes in the gills at March (p>0.05). In March,
ADM levels in gills and liver were statistically
changed among sites (p<0.05), while no statistical
changes were determined in September (p>0.05).
The results of this study indicated that CRP levels in
the tissues of the C. umbla could be utilized as a
significant bioindicator for disease pathogenesis in
fish infections
Potential Role of Zeolite on Improvement of Aquaculture Sector”
Aquaculture, which is very important in many regions of the world, attracts attention as the fastest
growing sector in the livestock sector in our country. The share of our country's aquaculture production in the
production of total aquatic products is increasing day by day. According to TURKSTAT data, the total
production of aquatic products in 2003 was 587,715 tons whereas the amount of aquaculture was 79,943 tons
with 13.6 %. These amounts reached 672,241 tons in 2015 and 240.334 tons with a rate of 35.75 %. While the
amount of crops obtained by cultivation increased every year, the increase rates decreased after 2007. One of the
most important reasons for this is the issue of feed and feed raw materials and quality problems. Studies have
been carried out to solve these problems and importance has been attached to additives that reduce cost and feed
conversion ratio (FCR) to contribute to feed quality. In these materials, zeolites came to the forefront. Zeolites
were first described as a mineral group in 1756 and crystal structures were resolved in the 1930s. After that,
synthetic materials were started to be produced because it was thought that they were in small quantities in
nature. There are about 150 zeolites, 40 of which are natural and the rest are synthetic. Due to the gap between
20 and 50 % in the structure, the molecules can be taken into the structures and they are named as molecular
sieves. Because of these properties, various types of zeolites nowadays have been used in many fields such as
paper, detergent, construction and health sectors and mining and metallurgy in addition to prevention of road
icing, vegetation and animal production, storage of fruits and vegetables and transplantation, pollution control
and aquaculture clinoptilolite and mordenite type have no side effects. Zeolites are used for purposes such as
controlling the pollution in pools in the aquaculture sector, increasing the growth parameters of the fish by
incubation, fish transport and removal of nitrogen compounds from aquarium water, increasing ambient oxygen
in aquarium and fish transport, and as feed additive. In previous studies carried out in our country, rainbow trout
rootstocks using clinoptilolite type zeolite in our country have not been able to accumulate in the tissues and
have been found to be effective in development in tilapia and rainbow trout weighing 20 g have been found to be
very effective both in terms of growth and growth parameters and body composition although they do not affect
the growth rates used in rainbow trout rootstocks. According to the present situation, Japan is the first country in
the world to produce zeolite. In Turkey, billions of tons of zeolite have been detected and clinoptilolite type
zeolite is found mostly in the beds of Ankara-Polatlı-Mülk-Oğlakçı Region and Bigadiç, Şaphane, Gediz, Emet
and Gördes Districts. We believe that the use of zeolites produced in our country as a local and natural product
as feed additive substance in the aquaculture industry in the aquaculture sector will contribute to the production
of lower cost fish as well as contribute to the development of 2 different sectors (aquaculture and mining) in
interaction with each other
Cooled and uncooled photovoltaic panels modeling by using genetic expression programming
The aim of this paper is to estimate the efficiency of photovoltaic (PV) panels with and without active cooling by using genetic expression programming (GEP). An active cooling system has been developed based on water spraying (non-uniformly) of PV panels, and we provide to increase the efficiency of
PV panels. Panels is not cooled, the temperature of the panel is increased and the efficiency was calculated as 16.81%. When the panels are cooled, the panel temperature fell and the efficiency was calculated as 18.83%. GEP is preferred since it generates a mathematical function which fits to given
experimental data. The test results indicate that for the model equations obtained, the determination coefficients (R2) are very high. These good agreements confirm the validity of the developed GEP models
Monitoring the ethalfluralin biodegradation with certain bactofungi mixed culture
In this study, the biodegradation of ethalfluralin (C13H14F3N3O4), which is the most preferred herbicide
in sunflower farming in Thrace region in Turkey, is investigated. Bacteria and fungi were isolated
in soil samples obtained in Thrace region, and a mixed culture was prepared using equal volume of
microorganism cultures. Five different apparatuses, including sterile agricultural soil were setup and
ethalfluralin in 1,500 µg/L concentration was added to each apparatus, and they were watered for 6
weeks with sterilized tap water. Drained water was then collected, and the filtrates were measured
for chemical oxygen demand (COD), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5), total organic carbon (TOC)
and ethalfluralin. Furthermore, pH and dissolved oxygen (DO) concentration were measured. Study
results demonstrated that the highest biodegradation was observed in the soil sample that contained
10 mL mixed microorganism culture and ethalfluralin. In this filtrate, ethalfluralin, COD, BOD5 and
TOC removals were measured as 92%, 85%, 82% and 97% respectively. The DO level remained between 3.00 and 4.50 mg/L in the first 3 weeks for all cultures. After the third week, it increased to 5.8 mg/L in the 5 mL culture mixture and to 7.1 mg/L in the 2 mL culture mixture. pH results demonstrated,
an increase during the first 3 weeks and pH values decreased for all culture mixture media due to the
formation of carbonic acid
Pre-service Science Teachers’ (PST) Knowledge involving the topic of Renewable Energy Sources
u araştırmanın amacı, farklı sınıf seviyelerindeki Fen Bilgisi Öğretmen Adaylarının (FBÖA) yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarına ilişkin bilgilerini belirlemektir. Araştırmaya, 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılında Fırat Üniversitesi, Eğitim Fakültesi, Matematik ve Fen Bilimleri Bölümü, Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliğinde 1., 2., 3. ve 4. sınıfta öğrenim gören toplam 36 (25 kız ve 11 erkek) FBÖA katılmıştır. Farklı sınıf seviyelerindeki öğretmen adaylarının yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarına ilişkin bilgilerini belirlemek amacıyla açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan test ve test’in uygulanmasından sonra bireysel yarı-yapılandırılmış mülakat yapılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizi için içerik analiz tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular, öğretmen adaylarının yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları hakkında yeterli bilgilerinin olmadığını göstermiştir
