The Position of Certificates Relation to Ownership Dispute Lawsuits (Study of The Decision of The Kalianda District Court Number 9/Pdt.G/2023/Pn Kla)
Taking control of another person’s land rights without the consent of the landowner is an unlawful act, where a person enters another person’s land without authorisation or causes a person/other persons or certain objects to remain an another person’s land.
The research problem in this study is: what are the legal consequences of the issuance of a certificate of ownership is related to the presence of unlawful acts in the issuance process, how legal protection is provided for the party harmed by a land ownership dispute in the name of another party, and how the judge’s legal considerations are analysed in deciding the case in Judgment No. 9/Pdt.G/2023/PN.Kla.
This research is normative legal research, which is a method that refers to legal norms through literature studies to obtain secondary data related to the issues being studied. This research is descriptive and analytical in nature. The data collection thecnique uses literature studies through regulations and legal materials related to the research. And the data analysis method use a qualitative approach.
Based on the research findings, it was found that the legal consequences of issuing a certificate of ownership are linked to the presence of unlawful acts in the issuance process, resulting in the certificate of ownership being deemed legally defective. Legal proctection for the aggrieved party in land ownership disputes where ownership rights have been issued can be provided both preventively and repressively. Preventive protection can be found through a negative publication system with a positive tendency that allows for objections and complaints to be raised if there are parties whose rights have been violated or who feel disadvantaged in the land registration process. Repressive protection can be sought by filing a lawsuit in court.
The judge’s consideration in deciding the case in Decision Number 9/Pdt.G/2023/PN.Kla was based on the facts and evidence presented at the trial, where Defendant I was unable to provide evidence to support their claim of ownership of the disputed land. On the other hand, the Plaintiff succesfully revealed the origin of the land acquisition cleary. Therefore, based on the facts, the judge decided that the disputed land belonged to the Plaintiff and that Defendant II’s action in issuing Certificate of Ownership Number 01506 Desa/Kel.Kelawi was unlawful.155 PagesTesis Magiste
Communication Model in the Implementation Of Child-Friendly School Policies in Labuhanbatu Regency
This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Child-Friendly School (CFS) policy in Labuhanbatu Regency, with the goal of creating a safe, comfortable, and inclusive educational environment that aligns with the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Regulation No. 8 of 2014. Theoretically, this study is based on three main pillars: the concept of Child-Friendly Schools, which emphasizes child participation and protection; policy implementation theory, which identifies supporting and hindering factors; and a communication model that critiques conventional linear approaches and proposes a participatory model. The research methodology employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including field observations, structured interviews with various stakeholders (school principals, teachers, education offices, DP3A, Labuhanbatu Ministry of Religious Affairs, and child advocates), and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), with the unit of analysis being three public elementary schools designated as SRA implementer schools. The research findings reveal that the implementation of SRA has not been optimal, with varying levels of achievement across schools. The main obstacles include an incomplete understanding of the policy, limitations in human and financial resources, and the absence of a precise evaluation mechanism. Additionally, the communication model currently in use remains one-way, flowing from the Education Office to schools without actively involving students and relevant stakeholders. Based on these findings, the study recommends the application of the ESIKA Communication Model. This holistic approach combines four key aspects (effectiveness, systematic, inclusive, and collaborative) while placing children as active subjects in policy implementation. This model emphasizes the importance of multi-stakeholder collaboration among seven stakeholders through effective and systematic two-way communication mechanisms.266 PagesDisertasi Dokto

Relationship Between Obesity and the Occurrence of Diabetic Neuropathy in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus at Prof. Dr. Chairuddin P. Lubis Hospital, Universitas Sumatera Utara, 2022–2024
Background. Diabetic neuropathy is one of the most common chronic complications
in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus caused by prolonged hyperglycemia that leads
to peripheral nerve damage. Obesity contributes to the acceleration of neuropathy
through mechanisms involving insulin resistance, oxidative stress, and systemic
inflammation. Objective. To determine the relationship between obesity and the
incidence of diabetic neuropathy among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at Prof.
dr. Chairuddin P. Lubis Universitas Sumatera Utara Hospital, Universitas Sumatera
Utara, Medan, 20155, INDONESIA, during the 2022–2024 period. Methods. This
study employed an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach
using secondary data from patient medical records from 2022 to 2024. A total of 386
respondents were selected using the consecutive sampling technique. Data were
analyzed using the Chi-Square test with a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05) and 80%
statistical power. Results and Discussion. The results showed a significant association
between obesity and the incidence of diabetic neuropathy (p = 0.000) with an Odds
Ratio (OR) of 2.255 (95% CI: 1.492–3.408). Obese patients had a 2.25 times higher
risk of developing diabetic neuropathy compared to non-obese patients. This finding
indicates that an increased body mass index may serve as an independent risk factor
for the development of diabetic neuropathy. Conclusion. There is a significant
relationship between obesity and the incidence of diabetic neuropathy among patients
with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Weight control should be considered an essential
component in the prevention of chronic diabetic complications.

Comparative Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Microbial Consortia in Domestic Wastewater Treatment
Population growth and increased domestic activities in Indonesia have led to a significant rise in water pollution loads, with approximately 85% originating from domestic wastewater. Although the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 11 of 2025 mandates wastewater treatment prior to discharge, the 2023 monitoring report shows that only 12.5% of domestic wastewater monitoring points comply with the effluent standards, particularly for BOD and ammonia. Bioremediation using aerobic microbial consortia is considered an effective and environmentally friendly approach; however, comparative studies between commercial bioactivator products remain limited. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of three commercial microbial consortia in reducing organic pollutants in domestic wastewater. Consortium A consisted of Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus megaterium, Bacillus polymyxa, and Saccharomyces cerevisiae; Consortium B consisted of Aerobacter sp., Nitrosomonas sp., and Saccharomyces cerevisiae; while Consortium C consisted of Nitrosomonas sp., Nitrobacter sp., and Bacillus sp.. The experiments were conducted in an aerobic batch system for 72 hours with three replications. The results demonstrated that each consortium exhibited distinct optimum treatment times and pollutant removal patterns. Consortium A showed the highest stability, achieving peak COD and ammonia removal at 72 hours. Consortium B reached its optimum BOD removal at 48 hours, whereas Consortium C met all effluent quality standards within 24 hours. The reactor (blank aeration) was able to meet all effluent quality standards within 72 hours. Cost analysis indicated that Consortium C had the lowest cost of compliance. These findings highlight that the selection of microbial consortia should be tailored to dominant pollutant characteristics, hydraulic retention time requirements, and economic efficiency.117 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
International Law Review of Environmental Diplomacy in the Indonesia-European Union Economic Agreement as Climate Change Mitigation
Environmental diplomacy has become a strategic approach for countries to address climate change through international cooperation. The increasingly critical impact of the climate crisis, driven by greenhouse gas emissions and natural resource exploitation, necessitates concrete global policy actions. This research aims to examine and analyze the role of environmental diplomacy as a mechanism for global environmental mitigation, to assess the legal status of the Indonesia-European Union Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IEU-CEPA) as an international legal instrument, and to analyze the impact of IEU-CEPA on climate change regulations in Indonesia. The research method used is normative juridical and descriptive in nature, employing a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The data collection technique is a literature study using document analysis, with qualitative data analysis applied to secondary sources such as international agreements, journals, books, and documents related to climate change regulations. The findings of the study indicate that: First, environmental diplomacy plays a crucial role in shaping the sustainability clauses in IEU-CEPA, particularly through the integration of environmental provisions aligned with the targets of the Paris Agreement and the European Green Deal. Second, IEU-CEPA holds binding legal status as an international agreement, with compliance mechanisms that combine economic sanctions and green incentives. Third, the implementation of IEU-CEPA has the potential to promote renewable energy transition in Indonesia through a just energy transition partnership scheme, although it requires the harmonization of domestic regulations to meet European Union standards. The main challenges include technological gaps, the need for green investment, and multisectoral coordination between economic and ecological interests.157 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

Partnership pattern is one of the strategies in improving the performance of agribusiness actors, especially farmers or small entrepreneurs. Farming partnerships will produce efficiency and energy sources owned by the parties involved in the meeting so that it will provide benefits for both parties involved in the meeting, within a predetermined period of time. This study aims to determine the partnership pattern of cassava farmers in the provision of raw materials and to determine the factors related to partnerships based on the provision of raw materials in opak. The analysis method used to determine the partnership pattern of cassava farmers in the provision of raw materials uses the descriptive method while the method used to determine the factors related to partnerships based on the provision of raw materials and uses the Chi-Square method. The results of the partnership pattern implemented between cassava farmers and opak processors are included in the Agribusiness Operational Cooperation (KOA) partnership pattern. The results of the factors related to the opak raw material partnership are the level of cassava availability and the price of opak, this can be seen from the significance value which is less than 0.05 which means there is a relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variable. Availability of cassava and price of opak are related.86 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
Analysis of The Malay Version of The Novel Laskar Pelangi: A Study of Structural Translation Strategies
This study aims to analyze the translation strategies used in the Malay version of the novel Laskar Pelangi, translated by Saadiah Ali, by applying the theory of translation strategies. The three strategies examined in this study are addition, subtraction, and transposition. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method by comparing the Indonesian and Malay versions of the novel Laskar Pelangi. The data were collected through an analysis of words, phrases, and sentences in both versions of the novel. The results show that there are 38 instances of the addition strategy, with the highest concentration found in Subchapter 1, comprising 9 instances. This strategy is used to enhance meaning, clarify situations, create dramatic and emotional effects, adjust cultural and social contexts in the target language, and expand the information presented. The subtraction strategy was found in 36 instances, most notably in Subchapters 2 and 6, each with 9 instances. This strategy was applied to simplify information without omitting the core meaning of the text. Meanwhile, the transposition strategy appeared in 18 instances, with the highest occurrence in Subchapter 2 (7 instances). This strategy was used to adjust grammatical structures in the target language without compromising the original meaning in the source language. Thus, the application of these three strategies demonstrates how the translator engaged in linguistic and cultural adaptation to ensure the text could be effectively received by readers in the target language.132 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
