Influence of Ease of Transaction and Cashback Promotions on Interest In Using Seabank on D4 Banking And Finance Students Faculty of Vocation University of North Sumatera
Digital banks such as SeaBank have emerged as a form of innovation in the
digitization of banking services offering practical services and attractive
promotions, including cashback programs which are the main attraction among
students. This study aims to determine the effect of ease of transactions and
cashback promotions on interest in using SeaBank for D4 Banking and Finance
students at the Faculty of Vocational, University of North Sumatra. This study uses
quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 68 respondents. The data
was analyzed using multiple linear regression. The t test results show that ease of
transaction has a significant effect on interest in use with a significance value of
0.033, and cashback promotions have a more dominant influence with a
significance value 0,000. The F test also shows a significant simultaneous effect
with a significance value of 0.000, with a coefficient determination (R²) of 0.370,
which means that the two variables explain 37% of the variation in interest in using
SeaBank. These results indicate that ease of access and
direct benefits from promotion are important factors in attracting students' interest

The Relationship Between Albumin Levels and Nutritional Status to Mortality in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Patients at Prof. dr. Chairuddin Panusunan Lubis Hospital, Universitas Sumatera Utara
Background: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a specialized area in the hospital designated for patients in critical condition or with severe injuries. Serum albumin levels and nutritional status based on Body Mass Index (BMI) can serve as important predictors in determining the prognosis of ICU patients. Aim: To determine the relationship between serum albumin levels and nutritional status based on Body Mass Index (BMI) with mortality among ICU patients at Prof. dr. Chairuddin P. Lubis Universitas Sumatera Utara Hospital, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan 20155, INDONESIA. Methods: This study employed an analytical design with a cross-sectional retrospective approach using medical record data from January 2024 to December 2024. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS with the chi-square test and binary logistic regression. Results and Discussion: Bivariate analysis showed that albumin levels were significantly associated with mortality (p = 0.038), while nutritional status (BMI) was not associated with mortality (p = 0.087). Multivariate analysis also showed that albumin levels were significantly associated with mortality (p = 0.048), while nutritional status (BMI) was not associated with mortality (p = 0.107). Conclusion: There is a significant association between albumin levels and mortality, whereas nutritional status (BMI) shows no significant association with mortality.88 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
Lean Manufacturing Approach to Reduce Waste Using Value Stream Mapping and FMEA Methods on Frame Products at UD. Herman Jaya
UD. Herman Jaya is a manufacturing company engaged in the furniture industry.
The company faces challenges in the form of waste, namely significant time wastage
between the actual time observed and the standard time set by the company, as well
as a scrap rate exceeding the company's standard of 5%, resulting in the failure to
achieve production targets. The objective of this study is to reduce waste through a
Lean Manufacturing approach using the Value Stream Mapping method and to
propose improvements using the Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) method.
Based on observations and measurements at UD. Herman Jaya, there are 20
activities with non-value-added time of 2,117.68 seconds, manufacturing lead time
of 3,228.61 seconds, process cycle efficiency of 65.59%, and process velocity of
22.32 processes per hour. Subsequently, three non-value-added activities and one
necessary non-value-added activity were eliminated, resulting in improvements
with a reduction in activities to 16, non-value-added time to 0.00 seconds,
manufacturing lead time to 2,335.22 seconds, process cycle efficiency increasing
to 90.68%, and process velocity to 24.67 processes/hour. Following the
improvements, there was an increase in monthly production from 260 units/month
to 331 units/month. Based on the analysis using FMEA, the RPN values for each
waste were as follows: waste overprocessing in measuring the length of cut wood,
with the root causes being the method (315) and the machine (288); waste
overprocessing in re-flattening the wood surface using a planer machine, with the
root causes being the material (392) and the machine (336); and waste waiting due
to wood accumulation on the trolley, with the root causes being the method (384
and 336). The proposed improvements include replacing the automatic crosscut
saw machine and establishing its operating procedures, conducting strict wood
selection inspections and providing storage racks, as well as implementing a
regular maintenance schedule for the saw blades, and arranging the assembly
station layout to be adjacent to the sponning station and establishing delivery

Synthesis of Carbon Dots and Nitrogen-Doped Carbon Dots Based on Candlenut Shells (Aleuritas moluccana) as Bioimaging Agents for Candida albicans
Carbon dots (CDs) are fluorescent nanomaterials with particle diameters below 10 nm that can be synthesized from biomass. Candlenut shells are lignocellulosic biomass waste with potential as precursors for CDs synthesis due to their content of cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin. According to previous studies, candlenut shells contain 75.79% fixed carbon, indicating a carbon capacity suitable for the formation of carbon structures at the nanoscale. This study aims to synthesize CDs and N-CDs by adding ethylenediamine (EDA) as a nitrogen dopant via a hydrothermal method at 230°C for 6 hours, and to analyze the capability of CDs and N-CDs as bioimaging agents for the pathogenic fungus Candida albicans. The results showed successful synthesis of CDs and N-CDs, confirmed by blue-green fluorescence under 365 nm UV light, with average particle size distributions of 1.03 nm and 1.62 nm for CDs and N-CDs, respectively, as observed through HR-TEM analysis. UV-Vis analysis showed absorption peaks at 273 nm for CDs and at 275 nm and 328 nm for N-CDs. Photoluminescence analysis showed emission peaks at 498 nm for CDs with a quantum yield of 25.36%, and at 515 nm for N-CDs with a quantum yield of 28.06%. The addition of EDA enhanced fluorescence intensity and quantum yield. FTIR analysis of all samples showed the presence of O-H, N-H, C=C, and C=N groups, indicating successful nitrogen doping on the surface of CDs. Zeta potential analysis showed values of -17.3 mV for CDs and -7.5 mV for N-CDs. Raman analysis revealed ID/IG ratios of 0.858 for CDs and 0.855 for N-CDs. XPS analysis of CDs and N-CDs showed two elemental components, C1s and O1s, at 285.1 eV and 531.9 eV corresponding to C=C and C=O, with an additional N1s component at 399.3 eV. The utilization of CDs and N-CDs for bioimaging Candida albicans using confocal microscopy revealed stronger fluorescence in CDs compared to N-CDs during the visualization of fungal cells. Morphological analysis showed a transformation from blastospore to hyphal form, with an average hyphal length of 214 µm. In this context, both CDs and N-CDs demonstrated their potential as fluorescent markers but did not inhibit the morphogenesis process of Candida albicans.124 PagesTesis Magiste
Service Management and Nursing Care for COPD Patients with Sleep Pattern Disorders through Acupressure Therapy in the RA-5 Integrated Hospitalization Room, H. Adam Malik Hospital, Medan
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease of often referred to as COPD is a disease related to structural changes in the lungs and is characterized by shortness of breath, coughing and excessive sputum production. This condition can cause COPD patients to experience disturbed sleep patterns. Acupressure therapy is one of the non-pharmacological therapies used to improve sleep quality. This study aims to apply the concept of nursing care in COPD patients with disturbed sleep patterns through acupressure therapy. This research uses a case study method with a nursing process approach which includes assessment, data analysis, nursing diagnosis, nursing planning, nursing implementation and evaluation. From the results of the assessment of Mr.B, it was found that the patient complained of shortness of breath accompanied by a cough with phlegm, and had difficulty sleeping. The nursing diagnosis that appeared in Mr.B was: ineffective airway clearance associated with airway hypersecretion, impaired gas exchange associated with alveolus-capillary membrane changes, and sleep pattern disorders associated with poor sleep control. After taking nursing action, it was found that airway clearance was resolved, gas exchange disturbances were partially resolved, and sleep pattern disturbances were resolved with the results of reduced shortness of breath, being able to cough effectively, improved oxygen saturation, complaints of difficulty sleeping and frequent wakefulness decreased. A Model of Economic Growth and Regional Development Through the Intervening Variables of the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK) (A Study in North Sumatera Province)
This study examines the role of public audit governance in mediating the links between economic and fiscal factors and regional development in Indonesia. Specifically, it models the effects of Economic Growth (X1), Local Revenue (X2), Investment (X3), and Government Accountability–Effectiveness (X4) on Regional Development (Y), with the Supreme Audit Institution’s audits (BPK; Z) as an intervening variable. The method employs Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using combined Likert-scale perceptual data and relevant secondary indicators. Construct validity and reliability satisfy accepted thresholds (high composite reliability; AVE > 0.50), supporting credible structural interpretations. The main findings indicate that economic growth exerts a strong, significant impact on regional development (β≈0.71; p<0.001). Economic growth and local revenue both increase the intensity/process of audit examinations (β≈0.28 and β≈0.29; p≤0.001), while the direct path from investment to regional development is not statistically significant. Theoretically, the results underscore the need to distinguish audit indicators based on findings from those capturing follow-up actions; policy-wise, local governments should link audit recommendations to the subsequent planning–budgeting cycle, strengthen productive infrastructure spending, and monitor follow-up completion (TLRHP) as a governance-to-performance bridge.256 pagesDisertasi Dokto
Evaluation of Essential Medicines Availability, Prices and Affordability in Community Health Centers and Hospitals in Gunungsitoli City in 2023
Essential medicines are critical for health care services, including diagnosis,
prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation. By 2023, Indonesia's Primary Health
Center Facilities (PHCFs) and hospitals must ensure at least 80% supply as a
necessity. This study aims to assess the availability, price, and affordability of
essential medicines in PHCFs and hospitals in Gunungsitoli City. Samples were
collected sequentially, both retrospectively and prospectively. Secondary data
reviews were used to examine retrospective data, while interviews and observations
were used to collect prospective data. The results indicate that retinol and ranitidine
injections were not accessible in Gunungsitoli PHCFs, from 40 list of essential
medications most of it had a 100% availability rate. Retinol and ranitidine were
unavailable (0%) in PHCFs. Albendazol, DHP OAT and Retinol were unavailable
(0%) in Public Health, while diphenhydramine injection,ORS, Eye Ointment and
ciprofloxacin were only accessible at Private Hospital (50%). Affordability
research showed that medicines in certain PHCFs were still within an affordable
range for most patients (< IDR 93,633/day). Medicines provided in Public Hospital
were reasonably priced, while those in Private Hospital were varied from fare to
expensive. Medicine Price Ratio (MPR) indicated low-cost medicines in PHCFs,
low-to-moderate charges in Public Hospital, and numerous high-cost medicines in
Private Hospital. The study concludes that better essential medicine management is

Optimization of Production Line Balancing Through Ranked Positional Weight (RPW) and Integer Programming (IP) Methods at Karangsari Furniture
CV Karangsari Furniture is a private company dedicated to the production of
various types of furniture, with its flagship product being two-door wardrobes.
Observations on the production floor have identified a bottleneck at the gluing
workstation, evidenced by the accumulation of semi-finished goods and disparities in cycle times across workstations. This issue arises due to the complexity of the production process, compounded by the disproportionate distribution of workload among workstations. This study aims to enhance the balance of the production line by employing the Ranked Positional Weight (RPW) and Integer Programming (IP) methods. Data collection was conducted through direct and repeated measurements of the time required for each work element. The results of the data adequacy and uniformity tests indicate that the operational time data meet the criteria for sufficiency and uniformity, making them suitable for further analysis. The application of the RPW method resulted in a production line configuration consisting of five workstations: measurement and cutting, gluing, assembly, accessory installation, and finishing. Meanwhile, the implementation of the Integer Programming method, with the objective function “min cycle time”, and constraints related to cycle time, resources, and inter-process relationships, yielded a configuration of four workstations by merging the assembly and accessory installation workstations. A comparison of the two methods demonstrates that
Integer Programming significantly reduces the number of workstations and
enhances production line efficiency while adhering to precedence and zoning
constraints. The implementation of this solution is expected to address the

Analysis of Copper, Arsenic, and Zinc Metals Concentration in Total Suspended Solid from Road Dust Suspension-Resuspension in Medan Marelan District
The development of transportation will result in exhaust gas or road dust which is very dangerous for public health and also the environment. This study was conducted to identify the concentration of metals in Total Suspended Solid from Road Dust Suspension-Resuspension (RDS-R) in Medan Marelan District. Analysis of metal concentrations focused on Copper, Arsenic, and Zinc metals. Road dust samples were collected using a portable vacuum with three location points then sieved with a 200 mesh sieve, the sieved road dust samples were dissolved with rainwater to simulate the natural environment of urban runoff and analyzed using Inductively Coupled Plasma - Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES) to determine the concentration of heavy metals in the sample. Analysis of metal concentrations using ICP-OES requires a destruction process, namely wet destruction using strong acids such as HNO3 and H2O2. So that the concentrations of copper, arsenic, and zinc metals are sequentially 92 mg/kg; 3 mg/kg; and 287 mg/kg. Then the results of the validity test using ICP-OES obtained a recovery test of 99.5% - 100.1% while the precision test expressed in %RPD obtained 0%. The linearity obtained by the ICP-OES analysis method was 0.9999 for Cu, 0.9998 for As, and 0.9987 for Zn with LoD for Cu 0.00104 mg/L, As 0.0133 mg/L, and Zn 0.01212 mg/L, and LoQ for Cu, As, and Zn respectively 0.00347 mg/L, 0.0444 mg/L, and 0.04042 mg/L. Analisis Kontrastif Metafora Konseptual tentang Cinta dalam Puisi-Puisi Terpilih Elizabeth Barrett Browning dan Pablo Neruda
This study uses Conceptual Metaphor Theory (CMT) by Lakoff and Johnson (1980) and
applies a qualitative descriptive method. This study aims to find out the three types of
conceptual metaphor of love structural metaphor, ontological metaphor, and orientational
metaphor are used in each of the six selected poems of Elizabeth Barrett Browning and Pablo
Neruda and analyse the differences and similarities in how they express love in the three
types of conceptual metaphor by applied cognitive semantic to find the meaning to make it
easier to classified. The findings of this study show that Browning uses 7 structural
metaphors, 8 ontological metaphors, and 3 orientational metaphors, which is mapped love is
“UP”. While Pablo Neruda uses 6 structural metaphors, 6 ontological metaphors, and two
orientational metaphors, which map love as “DOWN”. The results of this study show that
both poets use different styles and ideas in expressing love. Elizabeth Barrett Browning
represents love as spiritual, deep, and faithful in her selected poems, while Pablo Neruda
portrays love through the use of metaphors as something more intense, emotional, and
physical. This study suggests that future researchers analyse conceptual metaphors for love in
