    Objectives Helicobacter pylori (HP) is a common cause of gastritis in children, inducing a low-grade systemic inflammatory response through pro-inflammatory cytokines. Previous studies have demonstrated a correlation between inflammatory mediators and H. pylori infection. This study aims to investigate the relationship between neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) with Helicobacter pylori gastritis in children. Methods This study enrolled sixty children aged two months until eighteen years diagnosed with gastritis who underwent a Campylobacter-like Organism (CLO) test following endoscopy. Patients were categorized into HP positive and HP negative groups. NLR and PLR were obtained from routine blood tests and analyzed for their association between the two groups. Results Of the sixty patients, 65% were girls, with a mean age of 11.43 ± 3.66 years. The study found a median NLR of 1.29 (IQR 0.68–2.97) and a mean PLR of 118.27 ± 36.64. The median NLR in the HP positive group (1.53 [0.84–2.64]) was higher than in the HP negative group (1.19 [0.68–2.97]), although the difference was not statistically significant (p = 0.569). A similar trend was observed for PLR, with a higher mean in the HP positive group (120.72 ± 44.6) compared to the negative group (115.82 ± 27.06), but without significant difference (p = 0.610). There were no significant differences between the two groups in hematological parameters such as hemoglobin, platelet count, leukocytes, neutrophils, or lymphocytes (p > 0.05).     In banking practice, the legal relationship between debtors and creditors in credit agreements often gives rise to problems, particularly in cases of default that result in the execution of collateral through auction. One administrative step typically taken by creditors prior to auction is the issuance of a Pre-Auction Process Notification Letter. One of the cases examined in this study is Decision No. 120/Pdt.G/2020/PN Amr of the Amurang District Court, where the creditor unilaterally issued a Pre Auction Process Notification Letter. The research is guided by the following problem formulations: How is the process of submitting a collateral auction request from the debtor to the creditor conducted? What are the obstacles in the auction process of collateral between debtor and creditor?How did the judge consider the auction process of collateral based on Decision No. 120/Pdt.G/2020/PN Amr? The method used in this thesis is normative juridical research with a descriptive nature, employing a statutory approach. The data used are secondary data as the primary source, collected through literature study and analyzed qualitatively, along with a case approach based on the relevant court decision. The results of this research show that the panel of judges at the Amurang District Court, in Decision No. 120/Pdt.G/2020/PN Amr, deemed the defendant's actions (PT BPR Prisma Dana) in issuing the Pre-Auction Process Notification Letter without prior summons, without clear debt details, and without considering the renewed verbal credit agreement, to be an unlawful act fulfilling the elements of Article 1365 of the Indonesian Civil Code. On that basis, the court partially granted the plaintiff's claim and rejected the defendant's counterclaim in full. However, at the appellate level, the Manado High Court through Decision No. 114/Pdt/2021/Pt Mnd granted the defendant's appeal on the grounds that the debtor remained in default and that the auction process followed proper procedures. Nevertheless, the High Court's considerations are viewed as insufficient in acknowledging the good faith and existence of a valid verbal agreement. The contrast in judicial reasoning between the two court levels reflects the critical importance of consistent application of the principles of justice, prudence, and legal protection in resolving credit agreement disputes.123 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

    This study aims to describe the function and role of the taganing musical instrument in the context of learning traditional Batak Toba music at SMK Methodist Charles Wesley Medan. Taganing is one of the main instruments in the Batak Toba gondang ensemble which has a crucial role as a rhythm regulator and leader in musical structure. In the educational context, the existence of taganing not only functions as a means of cultural preservation, but also as a learning medium that can shape musical competence and cultural values in students. Theoretically, this study refers to the concept of the function of traditional music according to Merriam and the learning theory used is the constructivism theory proposed by Jean Piaget and Vygotsky. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques that include observation, interviews, and documentation. Research informants consisted of music teachers, principals, and students. The results of the study indicate that taganing as a rhythm director and melody carrier in the gondang ensemble, a traditional music learning medium that develops musical skills, art appreciation, and cultural understanding, and as a means of integrating cultural values and character education for students. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that taganing learning at SMK Methodist Charles Wesley Medan plays a significant role in preserving traditional Batak Toba music while shaping the character of students who are cultured and have noble personalities.     A Comparative Study on Notary Self-Publication or Self-Promotion and Its Supervision in Germany and Indonesia

    Job promotion is strictly prohibited for notaries, as explicitly stated in the professional code of ethics. Notaries are forbidden from engaging in self-promotion through print media, congratulatory flower arrangements, or any other forms of advertisement. This study addresses three key issues: (1) How are the legal regulations regarding notary self-promotion structured in Indonesia and Germany? (2) How is the supervision of notary self-promotion conducted in both countries? (3) What is the urgency of reforming the regulations and supervision of notary self-promotion in Indonesia in the future. This research employs a normative juridical approach with a descriptive-analytical method. Data collection relies on literature and document studies (documentary study). The findings of this study reveal that: (1) Legal regulations concerning notary self-promotion in Indonesia and Germany are explicitly governed by the 2015 Notary Code of Ethics and the German Federal Notarial Act (Bundesnotarordnung - BNotO). (2) In Indonesia, the supervision of notary self-promotion is conducted by the Notary Honorary Council (Dewan Kehormatan Notaris - DKN), which oversees ethical compliance both within and outside the professional scope. In Germany, supervision is carried out by judicial authorities in each federal state and the Notary Chamber (Notarkammer) in accordance with the provisions of the BNotO. (3) The urgency of reforming Indonesia's regulations on notary self-promotion and supervision is essential to uphold professionalism, integrity, and independence within the profession. Globally, supervisory practices vary significantly, with Germany implementing stricter sanctions and a more structured monitoring system. This study recommends harmonizing Indonesia's Notary Law (UUJN) with the Notary Code of Ethics, strengthening regulatory frameworks and oversight mechanisms, and enchancing public awareness through the Indonesian Notary Association (Ikatan Notaris Indonesia - INI) to ensure compliance with ethical standards.159 PagesTesis Magiste

    Free Vibration Monitoring System on Wind Turbine Blades Using Internet of Things-Based Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems Accelerometer Sensors

    Vibration monitoring of wind turbine blades is critical for detecting structural damage that affects system performance and stability. This study developed a real-time vibration monitoring system using an ADXL345 MEMS accelerometer and ESP32 microcontroller integrated with the Blynk IoT platform. Vibration data were analyzed using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to identify dominant frequencies indicative of system conditions. Results showed that at 5 m/s wind speed, a natural frequency of 3.29 Hz on the Z-axis was detected — representing free vibration following abrupt airflow cessation. At 6–7 m/s, dominant frequencies of 1.53–1.69 Hz on the X and Z axes emerged, indicating mechanical resonance due to aerodynamic excitation matching the system’s natural frequency. The developed system successfully provided early warnings via real-time Blynk alerts and LED indicators, enabling preventive maintenance before structural damage occurs.     Construction project development is a key indicator of a nation's progress, and large-scale construction projects necessitate precise quality planning and control. This research analyzes the implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) based on ISO 9001:2015 in a construction project, specifically the Medan-Binjai Railway Line Development Project. The study aims to identify the level of ISO 9001:2015 QMS implementation in the project and to analyze the factors supporting and hindering its execution. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation studies of existing processes and procedures on-site. The findings indicate that the project has implemented most ISO 9001:2015 clauses, particularly in the aspects of planning, execution, and quality monitoring. However, certain areas still require improvement, such as more comprehensive documentation and enhanced quality awareness across all organizational levels. The implementation of ISO 9001:2015 QMS positively contributes to increased operational efficiency, reduced defect risks, and improved customer satisfaction, although challenges like a lack of commitment from some parties and bureaucratic hurdles still need to be addressed. This research recommends continuous training, strengthening internal audit systems, and improving communication to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of QMS in future construction projects.     Preliminary Plant Design Of Silica Flour From Sugarcane Bagasse Ash Through Sol Gel Process With Production Capacity 40,000 Tons/Year

    Silica flour is an inorganic compound whose main components are Silicon (Si) and Oxygen (O2). Bagasse ash has a high silica content that can be utilized into silica flour through the sol-gel process. The main objective in designing this factory is to implement the discipline of chemical engineering and to be the initial information in designing a silica flour manufacturing plant from bagasse ash through the sol-gel process with a capacity of 40,000 tons/year. The main process in this factory pre-design consists of four stages, namely the raw material preparation stage, the product formation stage, the product purification stage, and the product storage stage. The silica flour manufacturing plant from bagasse ash through the sol-gel process is planned to be established in Kesamben, Jombang Regency, East Java Province with a land area of 15,625 m2, the required workforce is 147 people in the form of a Limited Liability Company (PT) business entity led by a director with a line and staff organizational system. For the establishment and operation of the factory requires investment capital of Rp 3,421,455,353,759 and production costs of Rp 3,784,848,394,884. Based on the economic feasibility analysis, this factory has a PM of 20.009%, BEP of 43.070%, ROI of 19.335%, POT for 5.2 years, RON of 48.388%, and IRR of 22.227%.     The Effect of The Addition of Lemon Peel Powder and The Level of Fineness of Cascara on The Characteristics of Cascara Dipped Tea Drinks

    The method used in this study is a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of two factors, namely the addition of lemon peel powder (K): (5%, 10%, 15%, 20%) and the fineness level of cascara (M): (20 mesh, 40 mesh, 60 mesh). The parameters analyzed were total soluble solids, pH, color index, total phenols, antioxidant activity, caffeine content, color hedonics, aroma, taste and general acceptability. The results showed that the addition of lemon peel powder gave a significantly different effect on total soluble solids, pH, color index, total phenols, antioxidant activity, color hedonics, aroma, taste and general acceptance and showed a significantly different effect on caffeine content parameters. The level of fineness of cascara gave a significantly different effect on pH, color index, total phenols, antioxidant activity, caffeine content, color hedonics, aroma, taste and general acceptance and a significantly different effect on total soluble solids. The interaction of the addition of lemon peel powder and the level of fineness of the cascara tea drink gave a significantly different effect on pH, color index, total phenols, antioxidant activity, color hedonics, aroma, taste and general acceptance, giving no significant effect on the value of total soluble solids and caffeine content. The best quality characteristics were obtained in the K3M2 treatment with the addition of 15% lemon peel powder and 40 mesh cascara fineness level which had an IC50 antioxidant activity value of 71,0956 μL/mL, a total phenol value of 1,8132 mgGAE/g and a general acceptance value of 5,4167.127 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

    Comparative Analysis of Consumer Preferences for Ready-To-Drink Coffee Types

    In this era, drinking coffee has become a lifestyle for young people, coffee outlets are the business with promising prospects. There are two ready-to-drink coffee outlets that are the choice for young people, namely Kopi Kenangan and Fore Coffee. The number of coffee outlets makes business competition far tighter, and coffee outlets are competing in providing facilities and improving the quality of products sold. Preference is an important role in the buying process, preference itself can be measured through the attributes of the marketing mix, are product, price, place, and promotion. The study aims to analyze differences in consumer preferences for product, price, place, and promotion between Kopi Kenangan and Fore Coffee and analyzing differences in preferences based on gender. The analysis method used in this study is non parametric statistics, that is Mann Whitney-U to see differences in preferences at the two ready-to-drink coffee outlets. The data used is primary data taken directly from the field through interview using questionnaire given with 96 respondents. That data processing is by using Stata 17. The results showed that there are differences in consumer preferences, where Fore Coffee has advantages in product and place attributes, while Kopi Kenangan has advantages in price and promotion attributes. Male preferences choose Kopi Kenangan with consideration of its affordable price, and choose Fore Coffee with consideration of its clean and comfortable place. Female preferences choose Kopi Kenangan with consideration of its affordable price, and choose Fore Coffee with consideration of its strudy and interest packaging.120 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

    PM2.5 and SO₂ Monitoring System and Acid Rain Impact Analysis on Soil pH around Pangkalan Susu Power Plant Integrated with Internet of Things (IoT)”

    Air pollution caused by sulfur dioxide (SO₂) emissions and fine particulate matter (PM2.5) had the potential to cause acid rain, which affected soil quality, particularly soil pH. This study aimed to design and develop a microcontroller-based air quality monitoring system integrated with Internet of Things (IoT) technology to monitor PM2.5 and SO₂ concentrations as well as soil pH in real-time around the Pangkalan Susu coal-fired power plant (PLTU). The system utilized GP2Y1010AU0F, MQ-136, and soil pH sensors, with data visualized through the Blynk platform. A 14-day monitoring period was conducted, and the results showed that PM2.5 and SO₂ levels in Tanjung Pasir were significantly higher than in Lubuk Kasih, with PM2.5 peaking at 176.55 µg/m³ and SO₂ at 4 ppm. This resulted in a decrease in soil pH in Tanjung Pasir to an average of < 5.8, while Lubuk Kasih remained stable above 6.5. Pearson correlation tests indicated a strong and significant negative relationship between PM2.5, SO₂, and soil pH in Tanjung Pasir (r = –0.750 and –0.798; p < 0.01). This study demonstrated that the designed system was capable of detecting acid rain potential and its impact on soil, and showed potential for long-term environmental monitoring applications.175 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
