Linguistic Politeness in the Film Bell Warning by Khalid Fahad
This research is motivated by the phenomenon of declining language politeness in the digital era, especially on social media, which impacts the morals of the younger generation and contradicts the principles of communication in Islam. The Arab film Warning Bell by Khalid Fahad, with a duration of 1 hour and 32 minutes, is chosen as the object of study because it depicts language politeness in a girls' school environment. The aim of the research is to classify and describe the application of six principles of language politeness based on politeness theory. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through library research with observation methods and free conversation observation techniques and note-taking techniques, as well as pragmatic equivalence data analysis, where the determining tool is the conversation partner used to identify. This research also utilizes contextual analysis methods applied to data by basing, considering, and relating the identity of the context. The research results identify 22 data that politeness in language within the speeches of the figures consists of: Tact maxim 3 data, Generosity maxim 3 data, Approbation maxim 3 data, Modesty maxim 5 data, Agreement maxim 5 data, and Sympathy maxim 3 data. Thus, this research is dominated by the modesty maxim and the agreement maxim that values the attitude of humility and the ability to acknowledge mistakes, responsibilities, and reflects the values of a group that harmonizes conflict resolution through agreement.81 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

This study aims to determine the effect of Digital Marketing and Education Service Quality on the decision of new students to choose a college through Campus Image. This research is associative research and the type of data used is quantitative data. The data used is obtained from primary data and secondary data. The analysis method used is descriptive statistical analysis and structural equation modeling. The population and sample in this study amounted to 100 new students at STIKES Namira Mandailinh Natal with the sample technique being saturated sampling technique. Andaliman or Batak pepper is one type of spice that is widely used by
people as an additional ingredient in cooking. Efforts to inhibit bacterial growth and
as a natural preservative for processed hard cheese using Andaliman (Zanthoxylum
acanthapodium). The method used in this study was a non-factorial Completely
Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications, namely P0 (Pure
Cheese), P1 (Pure Cheese + 4% andaliman powder), P2 (Pure Cheese + 8%
andaliman powder), P3 (Pure Cheese + 12% andaliman powder). The parameters
of this study were TPC analysis, salmonella and E. coli microbial contamination
test, Ph value test, and water content. The results showed that andaliman fruit
extract had a very significant effect (P <0.01) on TPC analysis, salmonella and E.
coli microbial contamination test, and pH value test. The best results were found in
the P3 treatment with the addition of 12% andaliman powder which was able to
reduce the TPC value with an average of (221 X102 CFU/gram), Salmonella (9
X102 CFU/gram), E.Coli (0 X102 CFU/gram) and pH levels (22.6). While the water
content did not show a significant effect of the addition of andaliman to hard cheese

Analysis of Vendor Behavior and Market Sanitation and Measure of Fly Density in the Dry Area of Tavip Market Binjai Kota Sub-District
Traditional markets are centers of social and economic interaction that provide
daily necessities but often face environmental sanitation challenges, such as piles
of waste that produce unpleasant odors. An unhealthy market environment can
negatively affect the physical health and well-being of visitors and may serve as a
breeding ground for disease vectors such as flies. This study aims to analyze vendor
behavior (knowledge, attitudes, and practices) regarding market sanitation, assess
the sanitation conditions, and measure the fly density in the dry area of Tavip
Market, Binjai Kota District. This research is a descriptive survey using
observational and interview approaches. The population consisted of all dry stall
vendors at Tavip Market (121 people), with a sample of 55 vendors selected using
purposive sampling. Primary data were obtained through interviews and fly density
measurements using a fly grill. The results showed that the majority of vendors in
the dry area were female (74.5%), aged 18–40 years (61.8%), and had been
working for 1–10 years (83.6%). Most vendors had moderate knowledge of market
sanitation (43.6%), but their attitudes were predominantly poor (96.4%). Likewise,
the majority of vendor practices regarding market sanitation were also poor
(47.3%). Overall, Tavip Market's sanitation was found to not meet health
standards, with only 29.71 percent compliance based on the Indonesian Ministry of
Health Regulation No. 17 of 2020. Fly density measurements in the dry area
indicated a moderate category (3–5 flies/block/grill), with an overall average of
9.28. The highest fly density was found at the Temporary Waste Disposal Site (TPS),
with an average of 28 flies (very high category). Vendors are expected to maintain
market cleanliness by disposing of waste properly and providing individual trash

Phenomenon of Toyoko Kids in Tokyo Japan
This study examines the phenomenon of Toyoko Kids, referring to groups of youths
who gather near the Toho Cinema building in Tokyo, Japan. These Toyoko Kids
are teenagers who have run away from home due to domestic violence, economic
hardship, social media influence, and a lack of protection. The aim of this research
is to understand the Toyoko Kids phenomenon in Kabukicho, Tokyo, and to
identify the factors that lead Japanese teenagers to become Toyoko Kids. This study
uses a descriptive qualitative method and literature review. Data were collected
from documentation studies such as books, websites, articles, videos, and images
as supporting sources. The analysis applies phenomenological theory, impact
theory, and factor theory. The findings show that Toyoko Kids in Kabukicho are
predominantly female teenagers who tend to support a lifestyle disconnected from
structured environments, often involving alcohol and drug use. Many come from
problematic families and join Toyoko Kids as a means of seeking understanding
and escaping emotional distress. However, they often suffer psychological impacts
such as stress, anxiety, and depression due to limited access to mental health
services, while government and organizational interventions are frequently

The Relationship of Knowledge, Attitudes, and Family Support with Medication Adherence in People with Diabetes Melitus in the Working Area of Teladan Health Center Medan City
Diabetes is a type of disease caused by a decrease in the hormone insulin produced by the pancreas which causes all sugar consumed by the body to not be fully processed, resulting in an increase in glucose in the body. Based on global data, the prevalence of diabetes continues to increase, and it is estimated that the number of people with diabetes mellitus in the world will reach 853 million in 2045. Medication adherence is the level of willingness and the extent of the patient's efforts and behavior in complying with medical instructions and recommendations given by the doctor to maintain stable blood sugar levels and prevent complications in diabetics. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and family support and treatment adherence in patients with diabetes mellitus in the working area of the Teladan Health Center in Medan City. This type of research is a quantitative research that is descriptive and analytical with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study is 813 people with diabetes mellitus with the Slovin formula obtained as many as 89 people with diabetes mellitus by accidental sampling method. The method of collecting interview data used questionnaire guides. Univariate and bivariate data were analyzed using chi-square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge, attitude, and family support and medication adherence with a p-value of < 0.05. It is hoped that people with diabetes mellitus will increase their knowledge and awareness of the importance of treatment through active participation in health counseling and education. Teladan Health Center is expected to develop a health promotion program and further researchers are advised to conduct further research that examines in more depth the factors that influence medication compliance in patients diabetes mellitus.226 PagesSkripsi Sarjan
Infusion Fluid Monitoring System Using Weight Sensors and Optocoupler Sensors Based on the Internet of Things (IoT)
Hospitals are in dire need of fluids such as IV fluids for every patient being treated,
because these fluids play an important role in maintaining electrolyte balance,
hydration, and supporting the patient's nutritional needs. Infusion is a method of
administering fluids and drugs intravenously that is commonly used in various health
facilities, especially for patients who are dehydrated, have lost blood, or need
medication in certain doses. However, infusion monitoring is still carried out manually
by medical personnel, which has several limitations. One of the main obstacles is the
possibility of delaying the replacement of IV fluids, which can cause serious
complications such as severe dehydration, electrolyte disorders, or even organ failure.
Therefore, an automatic infusion monitoring system based on the Internet of Things
(IoT) is needed that can help increase the effectiveness and efficiency in monitoring
patient infusions in real time. In this study, a weight sensor is used to measure the
volume of IV fluid, while the optocoupler sensor functions to detect the infusion drip
rate. Data obtained from both sensors is then sent to the IoT platform, allowing
medical personnel or nurses to monitor the patient's infusion condition remotely via
the Virtuino application on a smartphone or computer. The test results show that this
system is able to combine the volume and drip rate of IV fluids with high accuracy and
provide timely notifications. With this system, monitoring of infusion fluids becomes
more effective, the risk of delays in infusion replacement is reduced, and patient safety

Comparison of National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Scores in Hemorrhagic Stroke Patients After Cerebrospinal Fluid Drainage Who Received Midazolam and Dexmedetomidine Sedation in the Intensive Care Unit of Adam Malik Hospital
Background: Stroke is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) is used to assess the neurological status of stroke patients. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) drainage is a critical intervention used to reduce intracranial pressure, and the choice of sedation and analgesia is crucial in ICU care. Midazolam provides sedative, anxiolytic, and anterograde amnesic effects, while dexmedetomidine has analgesic and anxiolytic properties with minimal effects on hemodynamics. Objective: To compare the NIHSS scores in hemorrhagic stroke patients after CSF drainage who received midazolam and dexmedetomidine sedation in the Intensive Care Unit of Adam Malik Hospital. Methods: This was a single-blind, randomized, controlled trial (RCT) that compared the NIHSS scores in hemorrhagic stroke patients after CSF drainage who received midazolam and dexmedetomidine sedation in the Intensive Care Unit of Adam Malik Hospital, with a sample size of 34 patients. Results: The sample characteristics showed a dominance of female patients in the 45-75 age range. Dexmedetomidine had a more stable hemodynamic profile. The post-extubation NIHSS scores showed more significant neurological improvement in the dexmedetomidine group, with statistically significant differences (p=0.006). The effectiveness of dexmedetomidine is thought to be related to its analgesic, sedative, and minimal depressive effects, making it a superior sedative choice in the ICU. Conclusion: Dexmedetomidine is more effective than midazolam in improving NIHSS scores in hemorrhagic stroke patients after CSF drainage in the ICU, with NIHSS scores showing more significant neurological improvement. Optimization of Transportation Scheduling for Rice Distribution Efficiency in North Sumatra Using a Genetic Algorithm (Case Study: Perum Bulog Medan)
The intercity rice distribution system in North Sumatra, managed by Perum Bulog Medan, continues to face significant challenges in the form of high transportation costs and suboptimal delivery scheduling. This study aims to develop an optimization model for transportation scheduling to minimize distribution costs while still considering operational constraints such as vehicle capacity, travel time, and fleet availability. The proposed method applies a Genetic Algorithm (GA), using actual distribution data from Gatot Subroto and Mustafa. The model was implemented using Python programming language. Simulation results show that GA successfully reduced the total distribution cost from IDR 5.399.566.000 to IDR 3.359.393.000, achieving cost savings of approximately 38%. The optimized solution complies with all predefined operational constraints. A paired t- test analysis confirms that the proposed optimization model has a statistically significant impact on cost efficiency. Android-Based Student Attendance Application with Real-Time Location Validation Using Geolocator
This project aims to develop an Android-based student attendance application with real-time location validation using Flutter as the primary development framework. The application is designed to simplify the attendance recording process in academic environments while minimizing potential fraud, such as proxy attendance. By utilizing the Geolocator library, the system verifies that students are within a predefined radius set by the lecturer before they are allowed to mark their attendance. Firebase is used as the backend, incorporating Firebase Authentication for user login and Cloud Firestore as a real-time database to store user information, class data, and attendance history. Lecturers have the ability to create classes and attendance sessions, while students can join classes and fill in their attendance based on the specified location and time requirements.
