The Potential of Digital Signatures In Notarial Deeds to Establish Legal Certainty
The development of digital technology has encouraged the use of digital signatures as an alternative to conventional signatures. The application of digital signatures as instruments of authentication and verification for electronic documents has become a significant issue in realizing efficiency, speed, and legal certainty. Although several countries adopting both Common Law and Civil Law systems have implemented the concepts of cyber notary and electronic notary, Indonesia continues to face normative barriers in its implementation. The primary obstacle lies in the regulatory disharmony between the Notary Law (UUJN), which still requires physical presence and conventional signatures, and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE), which recognizes electronic signatures as valid evidence. This study aims to analyze the potential application of digital signatures in notarial deeds to realize legal certainty in Indonesia. The research method employed is normative juridical with a descriptive-analytical approach, utilizing secondary data consisting of primary. secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The findings indicate that digital signatures hold legal validity under the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE) and its implementing regulations, provided they meet the requirements of authentication, integrity, and non-repudiation. However, their implementation in notarial deeds still encounters regulatory challenges, particularly because the Notary Law (UUJN) does not explicitly regulate the use of digital signatures, Harmonization between the UUJN, the UU ITE, and other related regulations is required, along with strengthening digital infrastructure and legal literacy among notaries and the public. Thus, digital signatures have the potential to enhance efficiency, security, and legal certainty in notarial deeds, in line with the advancement of the digital era.169 PagesTesis Magiste

Automatic Goat Milk Filling System with UV Sterilization Feature Based On Omron CP1E Programmable Logic Control (PLC)
Goat milk is a natural food product classified as a perishable commodity with a high
susceptibility to microbial contamination, including Coliform and Escherichia coli
bacteria. In many traditional farms, milk processing is still carried out manually—
from milking and filling to packaging—which increases the risk of contamination and
reduces milk quality. This study aims to design an automated system, compare its
performance with manual methods, and analyze the effective UV sterilization time for
goat milk. The system was developed using several key components, including a
flowmeter, capacitive proximity sensor, conveyor motor, DC pump, solenoid valve,
LED indicators, and a PLC module as the main controller. The test results indicate
that the capacitive proximity sensor operates effectively at a distance of 0.5–1.5 cm,
while the conveyor achieves an average speed of 0.0542 m/s along a 0.62 m track.
The flowmeter is capable of measuring an average volume of 331.6 mL within 4.056
seconds, corresponding to a flow rate of 4.91 L/min and an operating frequency of
48.08 Hz, with a standard deviation of 3.51 mL. Meanwhile, the manual system
achieves average filling volumes of 286.67 mL, 300 mL, and 308.33 mL, with standard
deviations of 30.54 mL, 30 mL, and 30.15 mL, respectively. The UV sterilization
feature demonstrates high effectiveness, reducing bacterial counts from 3.1–3.2×10⁶
CFU/mL to 5–6×10¹ CFU/mL after 3 minutes of exposure, achieving an inactivation
rate of more than 99.9%. Thus, the proposed system is proven to be feasible and
effective, with strong potential to improve hygiene, accuracy, and efficiency in small-
to medium-scale goat milk processing.106 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

Adherence to tuberculosis (TB) treatment is essential for the success of TB control programs. Non-adherence to anti-TB drugs increases the risk of treatment failure, drug resistance, and higher healthcare costs. The Health Belief Model (HBM) is widely used to address adherence challenges. This study aims to analyze the relationship between HBM-based motivation and adherence to anti-TB drugs in Karo Regency, Indonesia. A cross-sectional study was conducted in four health centers in Karo Regency from October to December 2024, involving 70 TB patients in the early phase of treatment. Participants were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 26, including chi-square tests and logistic regression, with a 95% confidence interval (CI) and a significance level of p<0.05. A significant relationship was found between perceived susceptibility and adherence to anti-TB drugs (p = 0.045, OR 95% CI = 7.169), indicating that patients with a high perceived susceptibility were seven times more likely to adhere to TB treatment. Additionally, knowledge was significantly associated with adherence (p = 0.042, OR 95% CI = 11.551), meaning that patients with good knowledge were 11 times more likely to adhere to anti-TB treatment. Knowledge emerged as the most dominant factor influencing adherence. Perceived susceptibility and knowledge significantly influence adherence to anti-TB drugs in Karo Regency. Strengthening patient education and awareness is crucial in improving TB treatment adherence.175 PagesTesis Magiste

Gadget addiction is the inability to control gadget usage, resulting in spending
excessive time using gadgets while neglecting other activities. Excessive gadget
usage is commonly found among adolescent students. An initial survey through
interviews with 3 adolescents at SMP Negeri 10 Kota Medan revealed gadget
addiction related to social media use, online gaming, and access to pornographic
content. Initially, gadgets were used for school learning activities, but in reality,
adolescents spend more time on negative activities that can impact adolescent
reproductive health issues. This research aims to analyze the causes of gadget
addiction, characterize gadget addiction patterns, examine impacts on
reproductive health, evaluate parents' roles in monitoring and controlling gadget
usage, and assess teachers' roles in handling adolescents with gadget addiction.
This research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach.
Informants consisted of 5 adolescents as key informants, 3 parents and 1 teacher
as supporting informants, selected using the snowball sampling technique.
Research results indicated various factors causing gadget addiction including
internal, external, situational, and social factors. Adolescents experience gadget
addiction based on characteristic signs, intensity of gadget usage, frequently
accessed applications, and gadget usage activities. The impacts include physical
effects such as sexually transmitted infections, masturbation, and menstrual
disorders, as well as psychological impacts including hypersexuality, sexual
fantasies, body image issues, and feelings of guilt. The role of parents in monitoring
and controlling gadget usage among adolescents is crucial, yet many parents are
