DBHko ikasleen iritzi-testuetako gaitasun diskurtsiboak langai
Egungo irakaskuntza-sistemak, elebidun orekatuak bermatzeko, ikasleen
komunikazio-gaitasuna erdietsi behar du. Helburua asebetetzeko, material didaktikoa
helburu horretara egokitzeaz gain, ikasgelako egiteko moduetan aldaketak behar
dira. Horrek irakasleari bi erronka, bederen, planteatzen dizkio: batetik, ikasleen
zailtasun diskurtsiboak identifikatzea, eta bestetik, i(ra)kas-prozesua zailtasun horiek
gainditzera bideratzea.
Artikulu honetan, argudio-testua langai izan duen sekuentzia didaktiko baten
emaitzak aurkezten dira; zehazki, Genevako Unibertsitateko Hizkuntzen Didaktikako
taldeak eraikitako sekuentzia didaktikoaren metodologia erabiliz.
Argudioaren alderdi irakasgarriak identifikatzeko, Lekaroz-Elizondo ikastetxeko
DBHko 4. mailan jasotako iritzi-testuak aztertu dira; lehenbizi, argudio-testuen
berezko ezaugarri diskurtsiboak bildu dira, eta ondoren, ikasleen aurretestuetako
oztopo nagusiak identifikatu, irakas-objektuak zedarritu eta, horiek gelaratzeko
moduluen zer-nolakoak zehaztearekin batera, ondo-testuen izenburuetan eta
sarreretan azaleratu diren garapen-aztarnak aurkeztu dira.In order to guarantee balanced bilingual speakers, the present education system
should also contemplate the student’s communicative capacity. To do this, teaching and learning methods should focus on the use of texts. This model demands a profound change in
classroom methods that goes beyond the design of teaching materials. This poses at least
two challenges for the teacher: on the one hand, to identify the discursive difficulties of the
students, and on the other, to resolve the difficulties of how this might be taught. In this article,
we analyze the results of putting in practice a didactic sequence focused on the argumentative
text. For that purpose, we followed the methodology developed by the team of Language Didactics of the University of Geneva. In order to identify the instructive aspects of an argument,
we have analyzed some argumentative texts of the 4th ESO students at the Lekaroz-Elizondo
school. Firstly, we gathered the discursive and linguistic features inherent to the argumentative texts. Subsequently we identified the main obstacles to the pre-texts of the students,
limited the teaching objectives and once their elaborations were carried out, traces of development emerged from the post-texts headings and introductions were identified
External Media Accountability Tools: The cases of Andalusia and the Basque Autonomous Community
This article analyzes the accountability tools external to the media in Andalusia and the Basque Autonomous Community, which are the following: viewer associations; colleges, unions and journalist associations; press councils, audiovisual councils and media observatories; ethical codes and recommendations; blogs about journalism; and academic research groups. A comparative perspective allows us to know the state of these deontological mechanisms and establish relevant comparisons for their effectiveness in the task of ensuring the social responsibility of the media
Neuro-Sliding Control for Underwater ROV’s Subject to Unknown Disturbances
Proposed in this paper is a model-free and chattering-free second order sliding mode control(2nd-SMC) in combination with a backpropagation neural network (BP-NN) control scheme for underwater vehicles to deal with external disturbances (i.e., ocean currents) and parameter variations caused, for instance, by the continuous interchange of tools. The compound controller, here called the neuro-sliding control (NSC), takes advantage of the 2nd-SMC robustness and fast response to drive the position tracking error to zero. Simultaneously, the BP-NN contributes with its capability to estimate and to compensate online the hydrodynamic variations of the vehicle. When a change in the vehicle’s hydrodynamics occurs, the 2nd-SMC may no longer be able to compensate for the variations since its feedback gains are tuned for a di erent condition; thus, in order to preserve the desired performance, it is necessary to re-tune the feedback gains, which a cumbersome and time consuming task. To solve this, a viable choice is to implement a BP-NN control scheme along with the 2nd-SMC that adds or removes energy from the system according to the current condition it is in, in order to keep, or even improve, its performance. The e ectiveness of the proposed compound controller was supported by experiments carried out on a mini-ROV
Familiekin ikasturte hasierako bilera: nola egin "interesgarriago" denontzat?
Jakina da familien inplikazioak onura anitz dakartzala haurren heziketan; besteak beste, haurren arrakasta akademikoa bultzatzen du. Eta hori hala da, batez ere, haurra talde gutxitu batekoa bada edo gizarte-bazterketa arriskuan badago.

Analysis of accesibility of washing machine interfaces
The interaction with consume products has been changing due to the development of the technology, which often turns out to be a barrier rather than an opportunity for people with disabilities. Appliances in general and particularly washing machines have gone from having physical controls to have touch controls. For that reason, the main objective of this paper is to analyse the accessibility of washing machine interfaces. Therefore, a sample of four washing machines has been selected. After that, using Hierarchical Task Analysis and observation tools the sequence of use has been defined and demanded capabilities have been evaluated.
Eventually, by means of the Exclusion Calculator the number of excluded people for the interaction with the machines has been obtained, not only in terms of capacities, but also regarding their age. At this point, the results define the main characteristics to consider when designing accessible washing machines
Participación institucional en la experiencia cooperativa de Mondragon. Diagnóstico, retos y estrategias
The Mondragon Cooperative Experience (ECM) features a constant search of
equilibrium between business efficiency and cooperative values. On the one hand, ECM
represents a successful business model in a globalized and highly competitive environment.
On the other hand, ECM grounds on a clear normative framework orienting its practice in
the light of shared principles. Both dimensions rely on a productive tension for the ECM to
advance its goal of creating a kind of firm more in consonance with worker’s legitimate
aspirations. However, this relationship of mutual dependence between both dimensions of
the ECM is under stress. In particular, ECM faces difficulties to promote a governance
system capable of adequately responding to current economic challenges (a highly
competitive and globalized market economy) while it sustains and develops an advanced
system of democratic organization. Conclusions in this contribution synthesize the results
of qualitative research conducted by the Institute of Cooperative Studies LANKI between
2011 and 2018 in ECM’s worker cooperatives. Through the analysis of the discourses, we
observe some general trends and common problems that define the diagnosis, as well as
several potential lines of improvement of the ECM governance system from the perspective
of their members. In particular, this contribution accounts for the necessity to reconsider
the participation of cooperative’s members and an opening to new definitions and
practices of democracy and mutual compromise. Firstly, we shortly review the history and
essential characteristics of ECM. Secondly, we analyze the challenges and proposals
regarding the governance system of the ECM from the perspective of its members. Finally,
we outline some conclusion we consider of interest in the governance system of the ECM as
well as for other cooperatives operating in the social economy
Dementia related neuropsychiatric symptoms: inequalities in pharmacological treatment and institutionalization
Background: Dementia-related neuropsychiatric symptoms (NPS) are the main determinant
of family stress and institutionalization of patients. This study aimed to identify inequalities
by gender and socioeconomic status in the management of NPS in patients diagnosed with
dementia.
Methods: An observational study was carried out to study all the cases of dementia in the
corporate database of the Basque Health Service (29,864 patients). The prescription of
antipsychotics and antidepressants and admission to a nursing home were used to establish
the presence of NPS. The socioeconomic status of individuals was classified by a deprivation
index. Logistic regressions were used to identify drivers for drug prescriptions and
institutionalization.
Results: NPS are poorly recorded in the clinical databases (12%). Neuropsychiatric symptoms
were severe enough in two thirds of patients with dementia to be treated with
psychoactive medication. Institutionalization showed an increase from those who did not
receive medication to those who had been prescribed antidepressants (OR: 1.546), antipsychotics
(OR: 2.075) or both (OR: 2.741). The resulting inequalities were the increased
prescription of antidepressant drugs in women and more nursing-home admissions for
women who were the least socioeconomically deprived and men who were the most
deprived.
Conclusions: In large clinical databases, psychoactive drugs prescriptions can be useful to
underscore the considerable burden of dementia-related NPS. Specific tools are needed to
monitor social and health care programs targeted to dementia-related NPS from a population
perspective. Programs aimed at reducing the family burden of care of dementia patients at
home become the key elements in reducing inequalities in these patients’ care.
Socioeconomic status is the most important driver of inequality, and gender inequality may
simply be hidden within the social environment. Integrated programs boosting the continuity
of care are an objective for which compliance could be measured according to the NPS
coding in the electronic health record
Application of the D3H2 Methodology for the Cost-Effective Design of Dependable Systems
The use of dedicated components as a means of achieving desirable levels of fault tolerancein a system may result in high costs. A cost effective way of restoring failed functions is to use heterogeneous redundancies: components that, besides performing their primary intended design function, can also restore compatible functions of other components. In this paper, we apply a novel design methodology called D3H2 (aDaptive Dependable Design for systems with Homogeneous and Heterogeneous redundancies) to assist in the systematic identification of heterogeneous redundancies, the design of hardware/software architectures including fault detection and reconfiguration, and the systematic dependability and cost assessments of the system. D3H2 integrates parameter uncertainty and criticality analyses to model inexact failure data in dependability assessment. The application to a railway case study is presented with a focus on analysing different reconfiguration strategies as well as types and levels of redundancies
