Get PDFL'article aborde les enjeux de l'adaptation sociale (notamment transculturelle, psychologique, à l'apprentissage et à l'activité professionnelle), de l'acculturation des étudiants internationaux. La nécessité de prendre en compte l'échange d'expériences trans culturelle s par des étudiants de différents pays est soulignée. Les auteurs accordent également une attention particulière à la divulgation du besoin d'établissements d'enseignement à différents niveaux (enseignants, conservateurs de groupes académiques,

Hedgehog pathway signaling is associated with survival in breast cancer
Get PDFHedgehog pathway is one of the major developmental pathways in a variety of multicellular organisms from flies to humans. Though its components are also involved in a number of postnatal developmental processes, the hedgehog pathway is mostly inactive in the adult organism. However, aberrant Hedgehog signaling has been linked to numerous types of cancers and several components of the pathway are either proto-oncoproteins or tumor suppressors. We studied effect of differential expression of genes involved in Hedgehog signaling on survival in breast cancer patients.We found, that change of gene expression of a number of components of the Hedgehog pathway is associated with an alteration in survival in breast cancer patients.Метаболічний шлях Hedgehog - один із основних шляхів що забезпечують розвиток різноманітних багатоклітинних організмів від мух до людини. Хоча його компоненти також беруть участь у ряді процесів постнатального розвитку, метаболічний шлях Hedgehog здебільшого неактивний у дорослому організмі. Однак порушення сигнальної функції Hedgehog пов’язана з численними типами ракових захворювань, і декілька компонентів цього шляху є або прото-онкопротеїнами, або супресорами пухлин. Ми вивчали вплив диференціальної експресії генів, які беруть участь у сигнальній функції Hedgehog на виживання хворих на рак молочної залози, і виявили, що зміна експресії генів ряду компонентів шляху Hedgehog пов'язана із зміною виживання хворих на рак молочної залози

Указано, що підвищення якості професійної підготовки майбутніх лікарів має відбуватися відповідно до світових і загальноєвропейських стандартів задля підвищення конкурентоспроможності вітчизняної вищої медичної освіти.The article outlines the issues of training students in institutions of higher medical education in Ukraine, which is on the verge of reform. Visions of their solution are offered. It is stated that improving the quality of professional training of future doctors should take place in accordance with world and European standards in order to strengthen the competitiveness of domestic higher medical education
