International audienceThis working document develops a conceptual and methodological framework for analysing how actors mobilize photographic images and discursive practices to legitimize both their actions and their spatial claims. It argues that visuality (Mirzoeff, 2006, 2011) constitutes a central dimension of territoriality (Raffestin, 1981), and that it is strategically deployed as a resource through which competing actors assert the legitimacy of their interventions within contested spaces. The empirical focus is a 500-kilometre track in north-western French Guiana, where heterogeneous actors—engaged in agriculture, gold mining, and forest-based practices—interact through differentiated relationships to the subsoil. This setting provides a particularly fertile ground for examining how visual and discursive regimes intersect with material practices in the production of space.Conceptually, the article approaches photography as the artefact of a situated gaze, embedded within social and geopolitical positionalities. As such, photographic practices generate competing visual regimes that both reflect and structure power relations.Methodologically, the research combines corpus-based and interpretive approaches. A first step consists in constructing parallel textual and iconographic corpora through queries based on shared keywords and visual motifs. A second step focuses on establishing correspondences between these motifs and keywords, enabling the identification of recurring associations and tensions. A third step involves the visualization of these data in order to explore patterns and correlations across visual and textual domains.

Robust Stabilization of LPV Sampled-Data Systems via Quadratic Polynomial Conditions
International audienceThis work addresses the robust stabilization of linear parameter-varying (LPV) systems with state feedback, using linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) for the synthesis of sampled-data controllers. Using the input-delay approach, we propose a looped-functional whose time derivative is a quadratic polynomial. The negativity of this polynomial must be ensured to certify the closed-loop stability. Pólya’s theorem is then employed to ensure the negativity of quadratic functions, yielding new and less conservative convex conditions for controller synthesis under time-varying sampling intervals. Numerical examples illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed technique, showing that the new design conditions outperform those reported in recent literature. Finally, the proposed design conditions are adapted to handle quasi -LPV systems and applied to a nonlinear level control system. Experimental tests on the system illustrate the performance of the designed controller for different time-varying sampling intervals
First line intensities of the ν 3 + ν 6 band of methyl fluoride
International audienceInfrared spectra of CH 3 F were recorded in the 2200 cm -1 region using a Fourier transform spectrometer in Reims, France, with a resolution of 0.003 cm -1 . The measurements were conducted using a White-type cell with a path length of 8.26 m at different pressure of CH 3 F between 1 and 15 mbar. This spectral region corresponds to the ν 3 + ν 6 band, which is measured for the first time in this work. Experimental line positions and intensities were determined using the Voigt lineshape as a model in mono-spectrum fitting. The band assignment was carried out up to J = 45 and K = 15 using our home-made Spec-traMatcher computer code, resulting in more than 1800 measured lines. Strong intensity perturbations were observed, explained by a strong Coriolis coupling for 2ν 3 and ν 3 + ν 6 bands. The square of the transition dipole moments was determined for each line, resulting in the determination of the vibrational transition moment and the Herman-Wallis coefficients of each band using the Watson model

A longitudinal person-centered investigation of the multidimensional nature of deviant work behaviors
International audiencePurpose. This person-centered investigation seeks to further understand the nature of deviant work behaviors profiles including presenteeism, abuse against others, soldiering, and cyberslacking. We also aimed to investigate the longitudinal stability of these profiles and of their relations with a series of predictors (i.e., availability expectations through information and communication technology, challenge demands, and hindrance demands). Design/methodology/approach. A sample of 415 employees completed the same set of measures twice across a three-month period. Findings. Our results revealed four profiles: Involved, High Presenteeism, Low Presenteeism, and Problematic. These profiles were highly stable over time. Availability expectations through information and communication technology, challenge demands, and hindrance demands displayed distinctive patterns of association with profile membership. Originality. The person-centered approach adopted in this study highlights the importance of this joint consideration of various deviant work behaviors to better understand the combinations of these behaviors and thus provide a more realistic reflection of the reality
