No full textLa Dra. Claudia Becerra, directora de biblioteca de la Universidad de Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano; y la Dra. Soledad Lago, Directora de Bibliotecas en Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina, discutieron las principales conclusiones del informe Tendencias de innovación en bibliotecas académicas en Latinoamérica y el Caribe. Ambas enfatizaron la importancia de la transformación digital, la adaptación a modelos híbridos de educación y el papel clave de las bibliotecas en la ciencia abierta.
En esta entrevista se destacó que las bibliotecas están adoptando cada vez más tecnologías emergentes como inteligencia artificial y analítica de aprendizaje, aunque su implementación es aún limitada en muchas instituciones. También resaltó la necesidad de fortalecer el rol de la biblioteca en la educación superior, pasando de ser solo un espacio de consulta a convertirse en un centro de aprendizaje activo y colaborativo.
Además, se hizo hincapié en la importancia de la inclusión y diversidad en los servicios bibliotecarios. Se mencionó que el 73,9 % de las bibliotecas encuestadas participan en iniciativas de inclusión, pero aún existen barreras como la falta de financiamiento y la resistencia al cambio en algunas instituciones. Además, subrayó la relevancia de la diversificación de ingresos para sostener proyectos innovadores, un reto que enfrentan muchas bibliotecas en la región.
Ambas coincidieron en que la transformación digital debe ir acompañada de capacitación para los bibliotecarios, permitiéndoles adquirir nuevas habilidades en ciencia de datos, gestión de información y estrategias de enseñanza. This interview highlighted that libraries are increasingly adopting emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and learning analytics, although their implementation remains limited in many institutions. It also underscored the need to strengthen the role of libraries in higher education, shifting from being merely consultation spaces to becoming active and collaborative learning centers.
Additionally, the importance of inclusion and diversity in library services was emphasized. It was noted that 73.9% of surveyed libraries participate in inclusion initiatives, yet barriers such as lack of funding and resistance to change persist in some institutions. Furthermore, the relevance of income diversification to sustain innovative projects was highlighted, a challenge faced by many libraries in the region.
Both agreed that digital transformation must be accompanied by librarian training, enabling them to acquire new skills in data science, information management, and teaching strategies. transparencia y eficiencia en la gestión pública, en Colombia, los Consejos de Juventud se
establecen como mecanismos de participación ciudadana para los jóvenes entre 14 y 28 años,
con el objetivo de promover su inclusión en la toma de decisiones que afectan sus vidas y
comunidades, ell municipio de Túquerres, el Consejo de Juventud represente una importante l
importante en la gestión pública, ya que busca canalizar las necesidades y demandas de la
población juvenil y garantizar su inclusión en latoma de desiciones del municipio.
Durante el año 2024, la influencia del Consejo de Juventud en la gestión pública del
municipio de Túquerres, con sus caracteristicas, estructura y funcionamiento del consejo
en relación con la administración municipal y la participación activa de los jóvenes en el
municipio, como lo estupila el estatuto de ciudadanía juvenil establecen el marco normativo
para la participación de los jóvenes en la gestión pública, sin embargo, su implementación
enfrenta desafíos y limitaciones que afectan la efectividad de los Consejos de Juventud.
Esta investigación busca explorar la influencia del Consejo de Juventud como mecanismo
de participación y control social en la gestión pública del municipio de Túquerres durante el año
2024, con el fin de identificar oportunidades y desafíos para fortalecer la participación juvenil y
mejorar la gestión pública en el municipio. Se analizarán factores como la participación
ciudadana, el control social y la incidencia en la toma de decisiones públicas, para determinar el
impacto del Consejo de Juventud en la gestión pública del municipio.Citizen participation and social oversight are essential to ensuring transparency and
efficiency in public administration. In Colombia, Youth Councils are established as mechanisms
for citizen participation aimed at young people between the ages of 14 and 28, with the objective
of promoting their inclusion in decision-making processes that affect their lives and
communities. In the municipality of Túquerres, the Youth Council plays an important role in
public administration, as it seeks to channel the needs and demands of the youth population and
to guarantee their inclusion in municipal decision-making.
Throughout 2024, the influence of the Youth Council on the public administration of the
municipality of Túquerres is shaped by its characteristics, structure, and functioning in relation to
the municipal government and the active participation of young people, as established by the
Youth Citizenship Statute. This statute provides the legal framework for youth participation in
public management; however, its implementation faces challenges and limitations that affect the
effectiveness of the Youth Councils.
This research aims to explore the influence of the Youth Council as a mechanism for
participation and social oversight in the public administration of the municipality of Túquerres
during the year 2024. It seeks to identify opportunities and challenges to strengthen youth
participation and improve public management in the municipality. The study will analyze factors

No full textConocer el estado de los simbiontes fotosintéticos de corales arrecifales puede reflejar la salud de la colonia coralina hospedera. En este estudio se analizó la variación de la densidad celular y la concentración de clorofila (Chl-a y Chl-c2) en tres especies de corales del Caribe colombiano (Montastraea cavernosa-MCAV, Pseudodiploria strigosa-PSTR y Siderastrea siderea-SSID), considerando dos arrecifes (ensenada Granate y bahía Chengue) y dos condiciones coloniales (sana, colonia completa-C y con interacción residual con céspedes, núcleo-N). Se estandarizó una técnica para la extracción de tejido en corales duros y se aplicó una metodología análoga con dos tratamientos de extracción (T1–Acetona 90 % y T2–Acetona 90 % + 0.05 MgCO3) para obtener los valores de clorofila. Entre especies, se presentaron diferencias significativas en la densidad celular entre MCAV–SSID (p = 3.4×10⁻⁵) y entre PSTR–SSID (p = 3.4×10⁻⁵); pero no entre arrecifes ni condición de la colonia. En la concentración de pigmentos, se registraron diferencias significativas para MCAV–SSID entre los tratamientos de extracción T1: Chl-a (p = 0.0003) – Chl- c2 (p = 2.0×10^(4)) y T2: Chl-a (p = 0.008) – Chl-c2 (p = 0.017). Entre las condiciones coloniales, MCAV registró diferencias significativas para Chl- c2 (p = 0.043) y PSTR para Chl-a (p = 0.035) y Chl- c2 (p = 0.001); mientras que SSID arrojó diferencias entre arrecifes para Chl-a (p = 0.047) y Chl- c2 (p = 0.001). Estos resultados indican que las especies responden de manera diferencial al estrés ambiental y subrayan la necesidad de estudios a largo plazo en las regiones de interés.Knowing the status of reef coral photosynthetic symbionts can reflect the health of the host coral colony. In this study, the cellular density and chlorophyll concentration (Chl-a and Chl-c2) were analyzed in three coral species from the Colombian Caribbean (Montastraea cavernosa-MCAV, Pseudodiploria strigosa-PSTR, and Siderastrea siderea-SSID), considering two reefs (ensenada Granate and bahía
Chengue) and two colony conditions (healthy, complete colony – C, and with residual interaction with algal turfs – N). A tissue extraction technique in hard corals was standardized, and an analogous methodology was applied with two extraction treatments (T1 – 90 % Acetone and T2 – 90 % Acetone + 0.05 MgCO3) to determine chlorophyll values. Among species, significant differences in cell density were found between MCAV–SSID (p = 3.4×10⁻⁵) and between PSTR–SSID (p = 3.4×10⁻⁵); however, no differences were observed between reefs or colony conditions. For pigment concentrations, there were significant differences between MCAV and SSID in extraction treatments T1: Chl-a (p = 0.0003)–Chl- c2 (p = 2.0×10^(4)) y T2: Chl-a (p = 0.008)–Chl-c2 (p = 0.017). Among colony conditions, MCAV showed significant differences for Chl-c2 (p = 0.043), and PSTR for Chl-a (p = 0.0349) and Chl-c2 (p= 0.0012); whereas SSID presented differences between reefs for Chl-a (p = 0.0476) and Chl-c2 (p =0.0238).
