Mogućnosti i ograničenja razvoja sportskog turizma u kontinentalnoj Hrvatskoj
Hrvatska kao turistička zemlja razvija različite specifične oblike turizma, a jedan od njih je i sportski turizam. Iako je obalni dio Hrvatske turistički razvijeniji, u kontinentalnoj Hrvatskoj također postoji mogućnost za razvoj spomenutog specifičnog oblika turizma. Kontinentalni dio Hrvatske ima povoljan geografski položaj, klimatske uvjete te dobru prometnu povezanost za razvoj sportskog turizma na tom području. Kako bi se prevladala ograničenja za razvoj sportskog turizma u kontinentalnoj Hrvatskoj potrebno je ulagati u infrastrukturu, promovirati sportske aktivnosti u destinacijama, pratiti tehnološke trendove te ulagati u obrazovanje osoblja. Razvoj sportskog turizma u kontinentalnoj Hrvatskoj imao bi pozitivan učinak na povećanje broja radnih mjesta te bi se smanjila stopa iseljeništva sa spomenutog područja
Analiza senzitivnosti parametara generičkog modela leta helikoptera
This thesis presents a comprehensive approach to developing and tuning a helicopter flight model for simulation of flight performance, with a focus on a prototype helicopter under development. Conducted at Zürich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), the research involves several key tasks aimed at refining the model to achieve satisfactory similarity with real-flight data. The thesis begins with a description of the helicopter flight model and its relevant sub-models, including aerodynamics, propulsion, controls, and dynamics. Subsequently, potential tunable parameters for the model are identified through analysis of its components. These parameters are then subjected to sensitivity analysis to understand their impact on stability and overall flight characteristics. Based on the sensitivity analysis results, recommendations are made for a list of parameters deemed suitable for tuning the helicopter flight model. The criteria for evaluation encompass the significance of each parameter in influencing flight performance and the feasibility of adjusting them to match real-flight behavior. This research contributes to the advancement of helicopter flight modeling by providing a systematic methodology for parameter identification, sensitivity analysis, and model tuning. The findings offer insights into enhancing the fidelity of helicopter simulation models, with implications for various applications including training, research, and development.Ovaj rad predstavlja sveobuhvatan pristup razvoju i podešavanju modela leta helikoptera za simulaciju leta, s fokusom na prototip helikoptera u razvoju. Provedeno na Zurich University of Applied Science (ZHAW), istraživanje uključuje nekoliko ključnih zadataka s ciljem usavršavanja modela kako bi se postigla zadovoljavajuća sličnost s podacima stvarnog leta. Rad započinje opisom modela leta helikoptera i pripadajućih podmodela, uključujući aerodinamiku, pogon, upravljanje i dinamiku. Naknadno, potencijalni prilagodljivi parametri za model identificiraju se kroz analizu njegovih komponenti. Ti parametri potom su podvrgnuti analizi osjetljivosti kako bi se razumio njihov utjecaj na stabilnost i ukupne karakteristike leta. Na temelju rezultata analize osjetljivosti, donosi se popis parametara koji se smatraju prikladnima za podešavanje modela leta helikoptera. Kriteriji za ocijenjivanje obuhvaćaju značaj utjecaja svakog parametra na dinamiku leta i letnih performansi te provedbu prilagodbe usklađivanja s ponašanjem u stvarnom letu. Ovo istraživanje doprinosi napretku modeliranja leta helikoptera pružajući sustavnu metodologiju za identifikaciju parametara, analizu osjetljivosti i podešavanje modela. Removal of xenobiotics by biodegradation using a mixed bacterial culture
Napredak svih ljudskih djelatnosti omogućio je bolju kvalitetu života, ali je i doveo do povećanog ispuštanja ksenobiotika u okoliš koji nepravilnim zbrinjavanjem narušavaju kakvoću okoliša. Sve češći takvi antropogeni spojevi su upravo farmaceutici. Zbog njihove sveprisutnosti u okolišu dolazi do razvijanja otpornosti na antibiotike kod različitih mikrooganizama. Kako bi se riješila problematika ksenobiotika u okolišu, primjenjuje se postupak biorazgradnje. To je ekonomičan i okolišno prihvatljiv postupak koji iskorištava prirodno urođene metaboličke i enzimatske sposobnosti mikroorganizama za razgradnju organskih onečišćujućih tvari. U ovome radu provedeno je istraživanje procesa biorazgradnje β-laktamskog antibiotika amoksicilina pomoću bakterijskih kultura Pseudomonas aeruginosa i Bacillus subtilis. Početne koncentracije amoksicilina izražene preko kemijske potrošnje kisika (KPK) iznosile su 278 mg L^-1 za pokus P1 i 658 mg L^-1 za pokus P2. Za uvid u učinkovitost biorazgradnje provedeni su testovi osjetljivosti i mikroskopska analiza. Učinkovitost procesa biorazgradnje iznosila je za P. aeruginosa 49,6 % i 36,2 % i za B. subtilis 99,7 % i 48,5 % u pokusima P1 i P2.The progress in all human activities has ensured a better quality of life, but it has also led to increased release of xenobiotic compounds into the environment. Due to their improper disposal, they disrupt environmental quality. Such anthropogenic compounds, increasingly present in the environment, are pharmaceuticals. Their ubiquitous presence in the environment contributes to the development of antibiotic resistance in various microorganisms. To solve the problem of xenobiotics in the environment, the biodegradation process is used. This is an economical and environmentally friendly process that utilizes the natural metabolic and enzymatic abilities of microorganisms to degrade organic pollutants. In this study, research was conducted on the biodegradation process of the β-lactam antibiotic amoxicillin using bacterial cultures of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Bacillus subtilis. Initial concentrations of amoxicillin, expressed in terms of chemical oxygen demand (COD) values, were 278 mg L^-1 and 658 mg L^-1 for experiments P1 and P2. To gain insight into the efficiency of biodegradation, sensitivity tests and microscopic analyses were performed.
The biodegradability was 49.6 % and 36.2 % for P. aeruginosa and 99.7 % and 48.5 % for
B. subtilis in trials P1 and P2, respectively
Presentation of standards, tools and methods for calculating the ecological footprint
Rad prikazuje standarde i metodologije za izračun ekološkog otiska. Naglašava važnost primjene koncepta na lance opskrbe. Također sadrži prikaz modernog tržišta trgovanja dozvola za emisije i alata trenutačno u primjeni. Na kraju rada svi pojmovi i koncepti primijenjeni i pokazani u studiji slučaja.The paper presents the standards and methodologies for calculating the ecological footprint. It emphasizes the importance of applying the concept to supply chains. It also contains an overview of the modern emissions trading market and the tools currently in use. At the end of the paper, all terms and concepts are synthesized in a case study
Oleotourism development potential in Istria County
Maslinarski turizam novi je specifični oblik turizma koji se počinje razvijati u Istarskoj županiji. Bazira se na sudjelovanju posjetitelja u aktivnostima koje se temelje na valorizaciji maslinarske i uljarske baštine te uživanju maslinovog ulja i predstavlja način diversifikacije aktivnosti kojima se bave maslinarska poljoprivredna gospodarstva. Cilj ovog diplomskog rada bila je identifikacija jedinica lokalne samouprave Istarske županije s najvećim potencijalom razvoja maslinarskog turizma na temelju kvantitativne metodologije, i to kroz određivanje varijabli, odnosno statističkih pokazatelja, koje utječu na stupanj razvoja maslinarskog turizma, i izračun njihovih vrijednosti iz prikupljenih podataka. Velika količina podataka, odnosno oni koji se odnose na ponudu aktivnosti maslinarskog turizma, način njihove promidžbe te opremljenosti poljoprivrednih gospodarstava, prikupljeni su anketnim istraživanjem. Stupanj razvoja, predstavljen kroz izračunati kompozitni indeks, je kasnije stavljen u odnos s statističkim pokazateljima demografskog, prometnog, turističkog i maslinarskog razvoja provođenjem klaster analize koja je izdvojila pet različitih tipova područja u Istarskoj županiji ovisno o sedam izabranih varijabli.Oleotourism is a new specific type of tourism developing in the Istria County. It is based on the participation of visitors in activities that valorize olive farming and production, as well as olive heritage and the enjoyment of olive oil, and is a way of diversifying the activities of olive farms. The aim of this thesis was to identify the local self-government units of Istria County with the greatest potential for the development of oleotourism based on quantitative methodology, through the determination of variables, i.e. statistical indicators, which influence the level of development of oleotourism, and the calculation of their values from the collected data. A large amount of data, i.e. those related to the offer of olive tourism activities, the way of their promotion and the equipment of olive farms, were collected through survey research. The degree of development, presented through the calculated composite index, was later put into relation with statistical indicators of demographic, traffic, tourism and olive growing development by conducting a cluster analysis that distinguished five different types of areas in the Istria County based on seven selected variables
Synthesis and structural characterization of new quinoline-isoxazole conjugates
Cilj ovog rada bio je sintetizirati nove konjugate kinolina i izoksazola koji imaju potencijalno antitumorsko djelovanje. U tu svrhu, iz anilina te β-ketoestera pripremljen je 4-hidroksi-kinolin (1) koji je reakcijom propargiliranja preveden u O-propargilirani derivat (2). U sljedećem stupnju provedeno je kloriranje aldoksima (3−6). Reakcijom 1,3-dipolarne cikloadicije O-propargiliranog kinolina (2) i kloriranog aldoksima (7−11) dobivena su četiri konjugata kinolina i izoksazola (12−15). Strukture novosintetiziranih konjugata potvrđene su spektroskopijom 1H i 13C NMR. Biološka ispitivanja pripremljenih spojeva su u tijeku.The aim of this work was to synthesize new quinoline and isoxazole conjugates with potential antitumor activity. For this purpose, 4-hydroxy quinoline (1) was prepared from aniline and β-ketoester, which was converted into O-propargylated quinoline (2) by a propargylation reaction. Chlorinated aldoxime (7−11) were prepared by the chlorination reaction of the corresponding aldoxime (3−6). Four conjugates of quinoline and isoxazole (12−15) were obtained by the 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction of O-propargylated quinoline (2) and chlorinated aldoxime (7−11). The structures of the newly synthesized conjugates were determined by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. Biological evalutions of the prepared compounds are in progress
The economic impact of the natural gas market on the economy of the European union
Tema Ekonomski utjecaj tržišta prirodnog plina na Europsku uniju izuzetno je relevantna i aktualna, osobito u kontekstu globalnih promjena u energetskoj politici, geopolitičkim napetostima i klimatskim izazovima. Tržište prirodnog plina igra ključnu ulogu u energetskoj stabilnosti EU-a, budući da je prirodni plin jedan od najvažnijih izvora energije koji pokreću industriju, grijanje, električnu energiju, te mnoge druge sektore. Europska unija se suočava s potrebom smanjenja ovisnosti o fosilnim gorivima, dok istovremeno nastoji osigurati stabilnu opskrbu plinom, što je postalo još značajnije zbog utjecaja rata u Ukrajini na energetsku sigurnost i cijene plina. Cilj ovog završnog rada je analizirati ekonomske aspekte tržišta prirodnog plina u Europskoj uniji, s posebnim naglaskom na njegove utjecaje na gospodarstvo članica EU-a. Kroz analizu, cilj je odgovoriti na pitanje: Kako tržište prirodnog plina utječe na ekonomske uvjete u EU-u, s obzirom na promjenjivu geopolitiku, cijene plina, te energetske politike koje se provode? Rad će se usmjeriti na analizu ključnih čimbenika koji oblikuju tržište plina, uključujući: utjecaj vanjskih faktora (kao što su političke odluke i globalna potražnja) na cijene i dostupnost plina, analizu energetske sigurnosti i strategije EU-a u pogledu opskrbe plinom, utjecaj rasta cijena na industriju, potrošnju i konkurentnost EU-a, korelaciju između dekarbonizacije i tržišta plina, te prijelaza na obnovljive izvore energije. The natural gas market plays a key role in the energy stability of the EU, as natural gas is one of the most important energy sources that powers industry, heating, electricity, and many other sectors. The European Union is facing the need to reduce dependence on fossil fuels while simultaneously striving to ensure a stable gas supply, which has become even more significant due to the impact of the war in Ukraine on energy security and gas prices. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the economic aspects of the natural gas market in the European Union, with a particular focus on its impacts on the economies of EU member states. Through the analysis, the goal is to answer the question: How does the natural gas market affect the economic conditions in the EU, considering the changing geopolitics, gas prices, and energy policies being implemented? The paper will focus on analyzing the key factors shaping the gas market, including: the influence of external factors (such as political decisions and global demand) on gas prices and availability, an analysis of energy security and the EU's strategies regarding gas supply, the impact of rising prices on industry, consumption, and EU competitiveness, the correlation between decarbonization and the gas market, and the transition to renewable energy sources. Correlations and dynamics in many-body non-Hermitian systems
Ovaj rad istražuje međuigru temeljnih aspekata nehermitske kvantne mehanike i međudjelovanja čestica primjenom Bose-Hubbard modela s asimetričnim amplitudama preskoka i odbojnim interakcijama. U prvom dijelu analiziramo sustav s malim brojem bozona te pomoću računa smetnje i numeričkih metoda istražujemo razlike u odnosu na hermitski i jednočestični nehermitski slučaj. U nastavku proučavamo suprafluid-Mott izolator fazni prijelaz te ispitujemo kako nehermitska priroda sustava utječe na kritičnu vrijednost interakcije potrebnu za taj prijelaz.This thesis investigates the interplay between fundamental aspects of non-Hermitian quantum mechanics and particle interactions through the Bose-Hubbard model with asymmetric hopping and repulsive interaction. In the first part, we analyze a system with a small number of bosons and use perturbation theory and numerical methods to explore the differences compared to the Hermitian and single-particle non-Hermitian case. In the second part, we study the superfluid–Mott insulator phase transition and examine how system's non-Hermicity affects the critical value of interaction required for the transition to happen
Synthesis of novel C6-substituted purine derivatives using Pd-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions
U ovom radu opisana je sinteza novih C6-supstituiranih purinskih derivata Pd-kataliziranim reakcijama unakrsnog spajanja. N-9 propargilirani derivati purina 1a i 1b priređeni su reakcijom N-alkiliranja. Odgovarajući aldoksim 3 potreban za sintezu izoksazolnih derivata priređen je reakcijom kloriranja piridin-2-aldoksima 2. Novi 2,3-disupstituirani purinski izoksazoli 4a i 4b priređeni su bazno-kataliziranom 1,3-dipolarnom cikloadicijom iz N-9 propargiliranih derivata purina 1a i 1b te kloriranog aldoksima 3. Dobiveni 2,3-disupstituirani purinski izoksazoli 4a i 4b supstituirani su u položaju C-6 uporabom paladij-katalizirane Suzuki-Miyaurine i Sonogashirine reakcije unakrsnog povezivanja. Na taj su način uspješno sintetizirani C6-supstituirani izoksazolni derivati purina 5a, 5b i 6a–d. Nadalje, odabrani
C6-supstituirani izoksazolni derivati purina 5a, 5b i 6b korišteni su kao ligandi za sintezu renij(I) trikarbonilnih kompleksa 7a, 7b i 8. Strukture novosintetiziranih spojeva potvrđene su spektroskopijom 1H i 13C NMR te UV/Vis i IR-spektroskopijom. Antitumorska ispitivanja novosintetiziranih spojeva su u tijeku.In this work the synthesis of novel C6-substituted purine derivatives using Pd-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions is described. N-9 propargylated purine derivatives 1a and 1b were prepared by N-alkylation. The corresponding aldoxime 3 for the synthesis of isoxazole derivatives was synthesized by the chlorination reaction of pyridine-2-aldoxime 2. A novel 2,3-disubstituted purine isoxazole derivatives 4a and 4b were prepared by base-catalyzed 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of N-9 propargylated purine derivatives 1a and 1b and chlorinated oxime 3. Synthesized 2,3-disubstituted purine-isoxazole derivatives 4a and 4b were functionalized at C-6 position using Pd-catalyzed Suzuki-Miyaura and Sonogashira cross-coupling reaction and so C6-substituted purine-isoxazole derivatives 5a, 5b and 6a–d were synthesized. Selected C6-substituted purine-isoxazole derivatives 5a, 5b and 6b were also used as ligands for the synthesis of rhenium(I) tricarbonyl complexes 7a, 7b and 8.
The structures of all compounds were determined by 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopy as well as by UV/Vis and IR spectroscopy. Anticancer evaluations of novel compounds are in progress
Parasitic nametodes of Prussian carps (Crassius gibelio Bloch, 1782) from the waters of Kopački rit Nature Park
Uzorkovanje babuški (Carassius gibelio Bloch, 1782) provedeno je u rujnu 2018. godine na tri različite postaje
unutar Parka prirode Kopački rit: jezero Sakadaš i kanali Čonakut te Novi kanal. Od uzorkovanih 198 babuški,
u njih 20 je utvrđena prisutnost ličinki trećeg stadija oblića roda Contracaecum Railliet i Henry, 1912 dajući
iznos prevalencije od 10,1 %. Ni jedna druga svojta nametnika nije pronađena u inficiranim babuškama.
Brojnost i ukupna biomasa oblića pozitivno su korelirali s masom inficiranih riba. Zabilježena je znatna
varijacija u intenzitetu infekcije, pri čemu je minimalni broj izoliranih oblića po pojedinoj ribi iznosio 2, a
maksimalni 952 (u prosjeku 180). Nije uočena značajna razlika u vrijednostima Fulton-ovog faktora kondicije
i dužinsko-masenih odnosa između inficiranih i zdravih riba. Dobro opće stanje inficiranih babuški naznačuje
visoku otpornost na infekciju oblićima roda Contracaecum, kao i na minimalni negativni utjecaj samih
nametnika na domaćina.Sampling of Prussian carp (Carassius gibelio Bloch, 1782) was conducted in September 2018 at three different
sampling sites located within Kopački rit Nature park: lake Sakadaš and the channels Čonakut and Novi kanal.
Out of 198 sampled fish, 20 were infected with a third stage larvae parasite belonging to the genus
Contracaecum Railliet & Henry, 1912 resulting in a prevalence of 10,1 %. No other parasite taxa were found
in infected fish. Abundance and total biomass of nematode larvae positively correlated with fish biomass.
Intensity of infection was highly variable, with numbers of nematodes per fish ranging from a minimum of 2,
to a maximum of 952 (aver. 180). No difference in Fulton’s condition factor and length-weight relationship
between infected and uninfected fish was observed. Good general condition of infected Prussian carp indicates
a high tolerance towards Contracaecum sp. infection, as well as a minimal negative effect of parasites on the
host
