Mreža narodnih knjižnica Osječko-baranjske županije : stanje i perspektive
No full textU radu se govori o mreži narodnih knjižnica nekadašnje Zajednice općina Osijek koja je obuhvaćala 14 slavonsko-baranjskih općina, o sadašnjem stanju mreže prema novom teritorijalnom ustroju županija i o prijedlozima kako ustrojiti mrežu narodnih knjižnica u Osječko-baranjskoj županiji.Budući da je stupio na snagu novi Zakon o knjižnicama koji propisuje obvezu osnivanja narodnih knjižnica u svim jedinicama lokalne samouprave i uprave (općine i gradovi), potrebno je u skladu s njim, a poštujući Standarde i mogućnosti gradova i općina pojedinih županija, iznaći najbolje rješenje: kako da knjižnične usluge budu dostupne svim stanovnicima Osječko-baranjske županije

No full textAutorice su provele pilot-istraživanje kojim je mjeren stupanj zadovoljstva korisnika uslugama GISKO-a. Namjera im je bila interaktivno analizirati rezultate istraživanja te sukladno tome intervenirati na upitniku kao mjernom instrumentu. Pilot-istraživanje provedeno je koncem 1997. i početkom 1998. godine, a analiza rezultata podržana je statističkim programom za računala SPSS/PC+. U radu je dan kritički osvrt na kakvoću samog upitnika te preporuka za njegovo proširenje. Na temelju prikupljenih stavova i mišljenja stotinu korisnika Gradske i sveučilišne knjižnice Osijek o njezinoj djelatnosti, autorice su komentirale dobivene rezultate deskriptivne statistike te tablice kontigencije.The authors made a pilot-survey which measures the level of satisfaction of the City and University Library of Osijek's users with the services this library offers. The intention was to develop a questionnaire which would continually follow the needs of the libraries' users. The above mentioned suggests that the trend is to analyse the results of research interactively, as well as to intervene on the questionnaire as the instrument for measuring success in congruence with the results of the research. The analysed data was collected at the end of 1997 and at beginning of 1998, while the analysis was done with the help of the statistical program for computers SPSS/PC+ Statistical Package for Social Sciences). The work gives a critical review of the quality of the questionnaire itself and contains recommendations on how the questionnaire can be further developed. On the basis of the collected atitudes of one hundred users of the City and University Library Osijek about the libraries' work, the authors commented the results acquired with the help of descriptive statistics and contigency taBLES

No full textFrom the time when the first public libraries opened for users with the aim of utilizing the library holdings and improving general education, and not only for pure bibiophilism, until today's public libraries which through their holdings enable their users the access to desired publications and information, we find ourselves approaching the 21st century with libraries witch are becoming modern informational centers using new technologies in wich the users will be able to meet their various informational needs.
The tasks wich were put in the front of the public/city libraries by UNESCO and IFLA through the Manifesto on Public Libraries, the Law on Libraries and Standards for Public Libraries should be the basis on wich the further development of these libraries should be founded.
The intrest of each local community, including županija Osječko-baranjska and the City of Osijek, should be the modern public library in which in equal conditions each individual will be informed about all events in his/her community which are essential for for his/her life and work there and in wich everyone will be provided with access to different sources of knowledge and information.
The city network of public libraries should serve as the basis to structure the network of public libraries in Croatia, wich means that the City Library Osijek would be the central developmental library of the county with belonging branches, stations and bibliobus stops, as well as with the associated commune libraries and their branches, station and bibliobus stops
