Obilježavaju ga nekonvencionalna mjesta izvedbe (unutrašnji i vanjski muzejski prostori, arheološka nalazišta, galerije i sl.), a s tradicionalnim kazalištem vežu ga neke zajedničke sličnosti, primjerice upotreba kostima i rekvizita, nerijetko glazbe i svjetla. Museum theatre is one of the forms of applied theatre practices making its way into museums all over the world, including the museums of Croatia. Museum theatre is characterized by performances taking place in unconventional space (inside museums, on archaeological sites, in galleries, etc.). Nevertheless, museum theatres still have some similarities with traditional theatres, such as the use of costumes, props, music, and lights. In museum theatre, visitors turn into an audience that partially, or completely, becomes part of the performance. On the other hand, sometimes the audience doesn't get involved in the performance at all but assumes the role of an observer. This paper gives a brief overview of techniques employed by theatre museums and describes their role in forming a returning museum audience that visits not only for the permanent and temporary exhibitions but for occasional drama workshops accompanying the already existing museum content. The practical part of the paper was carried out in Zagreb Ethnographic Museum in collaboration with museum pedagogues. Occasional exhibitions were accompanied by drama workshops and simple performances. It has been noticed that these types of workshops enrich the museum experience. They attract various groups of people who end up leaving as satisfied visitors

U dječjoj književnoj animalistici najčešće razlikujemo dva osnovna pristupa: antropomorfni i realistični, iako je teorijsko pitanje postoji li uopće mogućnost u potpunosti realističkog prikaza životinje (u dječjoj književnosti). Animalistics is a newer discipline that emerged in the 1970s, and one of its branches is certainly literary animalistics. Man’s interest in animals in literary texts arises from the very beginnings of writing, and in the context of growing up, children’s world is flooded with animals and animal characters. Therefore, the animalistic context is an indispensable place of research in children’s literature. Literary animalistics is defined by different theorists in different ways, and what is common to all definitions is that animalistics depicts the states, characteristics, and activity of animals in literary works. In children's literary animalistics, we most often distinguish between two basic approaches: anthropomorphic and realistic, although the theoretical question is whether there is a possibility of a completely realistic depiction of animals (in children's literature). Maja Gluščević is certainly among the most important Croatian representatives of the Croatian animalistic novel, and her approach to animal characters is generally considered realistic. In hers works she depicts the communion between child and animal, their friendship, love and loyalty. The aim of this final thesis is to present the characteristics of animalistic prose by Maja Gluščević through the selected work, to notice the importance and role of the dog character and to analyze the animalistic presentation of dogs and their communication. This thesis will be particularly focused on these works: Bundaš iz petog be, Džeki zvani Simpa, Neman u gradskom parku

U istraživanju su sudjelovale dvije vrtićke skupine- skupina 5-7 godina i skupina 3-5 godina. Visual arts and music help people express their emotions, ideas. The two arts surround people wherever they may be. Both arts impact children's development and are components of every child's life. Even the fetus in its mother's womb hears music and the child has the need to create art from the earliest age. This Bachelor's thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part depicts the impact of music on the child's development and the development of the child's musical abilities. It then shows the impact of visual arts on the child's development, the child's artistic development and on the use of colours in the child's drawing. In the practical part a research has been conducted on the impact of music on the artistic expression of children of early and preschool age. The aim of the research was to ascertain a music impact on the children’s artistic expression. To be more precise, the aim was to determine whether the mood of the composition would impact the drawer’s choice of colours and the content of the drawings done by children of early and preschool age. Furthermore, the research aimed at determining whether they would be able to recognize the main motif of the composition and provide an artistic depiction of it on paper. The children listened to two compositions of opposing moods. Two groups of nursery children participated in the research: the age of 5-7 years group and the age of 3-5 years group. Altogether 34 children participated in the research, every child drew twice and 24 of the most successful works were chosen for the analysis of the research. The works were analysed according to standard hypotheses and the tasks of the research. After the analysis and the processing of the data it was ascertained that music affects the choice of colours of drawers of early and preschool age. It was also determined that the children of early and preschool age mostly do not recognize the composition’s main motif. The purpose of this thesis is to show the impact and the importance of visual arts and music in the child’s life, as well as to show how one art can affect the other

Through this review, examples of different types of games that encourage the development of children's creativity and children's expression are given. It is important to emphasize that children's development depends on the potential of the child and the functioning of the environment. It is the motivations that the educator provides to the child that encourage him to further research and activities. As already pointed out, children at all stages of development explore the stimuli that the educator offers them, depending on the age of the child. In this paper, the phases and transition periods that affect the child's development and his artistic development are listed. Imagination in children does not develop by using motifs that are everyday, but by using motifs that are unusual by which the child creates his art work through spontaneity and creativity. It also emphasizes the importance of non-visual stimuli that stimulate creativity and expression of emotions. In this way, the child develops the ability to find simple and original ideas through which various valuable ideas are created. It is known that a great and important role is played by the educator in children's development. It depends on him whether the child's play is partner or superior, not taking into account the problem that arises due to the educational impact. For the end of this review paper, great importance is placed on the very examples of children's games that influence children's artistic creation and expression by encouraging creativity and spontaneity. It is this creativity and spontaneity that helps children to react positively to different adaptations and new opportunities that they will encounter during different periods of life

Teaching and learning aims of English language in early years are set in the national curriculum, those include developing english vocabulary, encouraging its active use in everyday activities and games, instigating love towards the language and its culture. In early years, puppets are usually used when reading with expressions and in plays. It is very likely that the adults use puppets as special guests or friends in the classroom. The role of the puppet is to familiarise children with everyday rituals and activities such as brushing their teeth, social skills such as greetings and other educational aspects. In this thesis puppets are divided into Gino puppets, hand puppets, shadow puppets, Jataka puppets and marionettes. The use of all the mentioned puppets is described with main stress on the use of hand puppets. Further more, the process of making hand puppet is described which was then used in class to teach “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”. The aim of teaching English language in early years is to develop positive attitudes towards learning the language and its use in everyday activities as well as learning about English culture. Also, another aim of this thesis is to show how a hand puppet can be used in teaching foreign language and to show nursery children's attitudes towards it

Zadatak odraslih jest biti djeci oslonac kada je teško i podrška kada im treba jer čovječanstvo duguje djetetu sve najbolje što može dati (Deklaracija o pravima djeteta)Being a person who has dedicated all their life to professional sports and various physical activities, I decided to use this topic as a trump card in raising children and young people’s awareness of the importance of movement, and in the implementation of various activities and play from an early age. The purpose of this work is to demonstrate the importance of kinesiological activity and play during spare time in pre-school children. Thus, the paper emphasizes play as a child’s most important duty, through which they absorb new knowledge and expand their own capabilitiesas well as kinesiological activity, through which each individual satisfies their natural need for movement. In addition to play and kinesiological activities, leisure time plays an important role in an individual’s everyday life, and there is no person who could simply neglect it. Due to the phrenetic pace of daily life in modern times, precisely leisure is the time when we can relax, move, engage in various activities and play. Firstly, the paper explains the term “leisure time.” Then, it emphasizes the importance of spare time for children and young people and states some of its important concepts and aspects. Furthermore, it mentions kinesiological activity and its importance in lives of pre-school children, the importance of play and examples of different games that can be used in pre-school educational institutions. In order to properly direct children towards engaging in activities and to avoid sedentary lifestyle, it is crucial to properly involve the society, family members, pre-school educators and teachers in child’s daily life. For that reason, the role of pre-school educators and kindergarten’s engagement in the promotion of leisure activities of pre-school children are mentioned. As a pre-school educator, I play a significant role in young people’s lives. Therefore, I have to encourage children to engage in various games and activities that serve as a source of fun and entertainment. It is the responsibility of adults to support children during difficult times and provide help when needed because mankind owes to the child the best that it has to give(Declaration of the Rights of the Child)

This theoretical thesis discusses the connection between fairy tales and children's imagination and creativity. It starts from defining children's literature and dividing it into types. It will be stated what types of children's literature children like in each period of childhood, and it is very important to know how we can offer children literary texts that suit their age and interests. Furthermore, the origin of the term fairy tale is explained, the characteristics of fairy tales are stated, and the connection between fairy tales and children is discussed. It is explained how a fairy tale affects a child in a positive and negative way. Numerous authors have stated that a fairy tale is harmful to a child because it contains too much imagination and wonders, mythology, characters and events that children are afraid of. It is also stated that reading fairy tales makes children fantasize too much and start believing in spells and fantastic elements. On the other hand, it is stated that the fairy tale has a positive effect on children's development and imagination and that children do not experience miraculous characters and somewhat cruel actions realistically, and therefore do not have a negative impact on them. Fairy tales are a valuable educational tool for a child because they present the child with various events and situations that can teach them to choose appropriate behavior. Fairy tales help children develop and improve their imagination and imagination develops pleasant feelings. The chapters on creativity will provide definitions of creativity, approaches to creativity and will emphasize the importance of encouraging creativity in the teaching process and the ways in which this can be achieved. It is also stated how fairy tale helps encourage activities that have a significant role in the creative process. Finally, the example of a fairy tale briefly explains how a fairy tale stimulates imagination and creativity

The Impact of Media Communication on Children During a Pandemic

The aim of this paper is to determine the influence of media communication on children during the pandemic. Adults have been communicating via gadgets for a while now, and the same habit is growing among children as well. In the beginning of the pandemic we could have noticed a large decrease in face to face communication, which resulted in children spending even more time in front of various screens. It is logical to assume that the influence of media on children will consequently grow, which will be confirmed through a conducted research. The media communicates with children via different communication channels such as social media, television, children magazines, commercials and ads, cell phones.... For the purposes of this paper, we will elaborate in more detail two of the most common communication channels used by children today - the internet and the screen. The purpose of the conducted research for this paper was to determine whether the media has affected the children during the pandemic of COVID 19 through their communication and the media content offered, or, to be more precise, in what way were the children informed and introduced to current topics. Furthermore, the goal of the research was also to determine in which ways do children use the information obtained from the media in situations outside of their homes, for example if they put their hands in their mouth when in stores, do they touch the items in stores, do they wash their hands more often...We explored the above mentioned assumptions to determine and confirm the initial hypothesis which is that the media through their communication has a strong influence on children, especially during the pandemic when children use more media than they usually would
