    Analysis of interest and influential groups on the example of business bank

    Svaka interesno-utjecajna skupina ima jedinstvene ciljeve, a zadaća poduzeća je pokušati zadovoljiti svaki od navedenih ciljeva, što će u konačnici pozitivno utjecati na stvaranje financijske vrijednosti za poduzeće. Svrha ovog rada je pružiti sveobuhvatni uvid u važnosti kvalitetnog upravljanja odnosima interesno-utjecajnih skupina, uz obrazloženje odrednica i smjernica vezanih za uspješno korporativno upravljanje, na primjeru rada poslovne banke, Privredne banke Zagreb d.d.. Za potrebe ostvarenja ciljeva rada, provedeno je empirijsko istraživanje, putem metode studija slučaja. Samo istraživanje započinje s obrazloženjem konteksta poslovanja poslovne banke, a potom su navedene krucijalne interesno-utjecajne skupine i odnosi banke prema istima, a putem polustrukturiranih dubinskih intervjua dodatno se produbio i proširio dio analize odnosa prema interesno-utjecajnim skupinama. Nakon toga, prikazani su učinci uspješnosti upravljanja interesno-utjecajnim skupinama, kao i moguća poboljšanja u upravljanju istima. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju kako ispravno upravljanje interesno-utjecajnim skupinama pozitivno utječe na ostvarenje dugoročne održivosti i uspješnosti poslovanja u radu poslovne banke.Each stakeholder has unique goals, and the task of the company is to try to satisfy each one of the listed goals, which will ultimately have a positive impact on the creation financial value for the company. The purpose of this paper is to provide a comprehensive insight into the importance of quality management of stakeholder relations, with an explanation of the determinants and guidelines related to successful corporate governance, using the example of a commercial bank, Privredna banka Zagreb d.d.. In order to achieve the objectives of this paper, empirical research was conducted using the case study method. The research itself begins with an explanation of the context of the commercial bank's operations, and then, crucial stakeholder groups and the bank's relations towards them are listed, and additionally, through primary data sources, i.e. through semi-structured in-depth interviews, the analysis of relations towards stakeholder groups was further deepened and expanded. After that, the effects of the success of stakeholder management are presented, as well as possible improvements in their management. The research results show that proper management of stakeholders has a positive impact on achieving long-term sustainability and business success in the work of a commercial bank

    Diplomski rad se fokusira na integraciju okolišnih, društvenih i upravljačkih čimbenika (ESG) u strategije investicijskih fondova. Tradicionalni financijski modeli su kritizirani zbog kratkoročne usredotočenosti i zanemarivanja održivosti, dok ESG kriteriji postaju sve važniji za procjenu etičkih i održivih učinaka ulaganja. Investicijski fondovi mogu uskladiti svoje ciljeve sa širim društvenim i ekološkim ciljevima uključivanjem ESG-a, osiguravajući dugoročnu otpornost i stabilnost. Rad istražuje ulogu i utjecaj ESG čimbenika kroz kvalitativno istraživanje, analizu literature i regulatorne okvire. Rad naglašava važnost uključivanja ESG standarda za stvaranje otpornog, pravednog i održivog globalnog gospodarstva.The thesis focuses on the integration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into investment fund strategies. Traditional financial models have been criticized for their short-term focus and neglect of sustainability, while ESG criteria are becoming increasingly important for assessing the ethical and sustainable impact of investments. Investment funds can align their objectives with broader social and environmental goals by incorporating ESG, ensuring long-term resilience and stability. The paper explores the role and impact of ESG factors through qualitative research, literature review and regulatory frameworks. The paper highlights the importance of incorporating ESG standards for creating a resilient, equitable and sustainable global economy

    The impact of female entrepreneurship on the national economy

    Suvremeno poduzetništvo na globalnoj razini zapošljava oko 60% svih zaposlenika te je njegov udio u dodanoj vrijednosti oko 50-60% pa njegovu važnost nije potrebno naglašavati. Osim što svojim opsegom utječe na gospodarstvo, također utječe na razne druge aspekte društva npr. zaposlenost, demografiju itd. Iako su poduzetničke aktivnosti Republici Hrvatskoj u stalnom porastu, kao zemlja društvene i gospodarske tranzicije i dalje kasni za ostatkom Europske unije. Poduzetništvo je kroz povijest bila aktivnost kojoj su skloniji muškarci, no žene su mnogo puta dokazale da mogu biti jednako uspješne, pogotovo tijekom i poslije ratova kad bi preuzimale velik broj, do tada muških poslova, na sebe i aktivno sudjelovale u oporavku gospodarstva. Poražavajuć je podatak, da je hrvatskih poduzetnica u 2022. je bilo 2,5 puta manje od poduzetnika, iako žene prevladavaju u strukturi nacionalnog stanovništva. Pojam poduzetništva žena i obrazovanja žena za bavljenjem poduzetništvom sve je aktualnija tema unazad nekoliko godina zbog mogućnosti i perspektive koju bi njegov razvoj donio na razini cijelog nacionalnog gospodarstva. Ciljevi rada su istražiti i shvatiti specifičnosti poduzetništva žena, faktore koji pospješuju njegov razvoj te važnost njegova poticanja i unaprjeđenja, kao i čimbenike koje usporavaju njegov razvoj.Modern entrepreneurship at the global level employs around 60% of all employees, with it's share in added value being approximately 50-60%, making it's importance undeniable. Besides it's economic impact, entrepreneurship also influences various other aspects of society, such as employment, demographics, and more. Although entrepreneurial activities in the Republic of Croatia have been continuously increasing, the country, as one undergoing social and economic transition, still lags behind the rest of the European Union. Historically, entrepreneurship has been an activity more commonly pursued by men. However, women have repeatedly proven they can be equally successful, particularly during and after wars when they took on numerous traditionally male-dominated roles and actively contributed to economic recovery. A concerning statistic shows that in 2022, there were 2.5 times fewer female entrepreneurs than male entrepreneurs in Croatia, despite women making up the majority of the national population. The concept of women's entrepreneurship and their education in this field has become an increasingly relevant topic in recent years due to the opportunities and potential benefits it could bring to the national economy as a whole. The objectives of this paper are to explore and understand the specific characteristics of women's entrepreneurship, the factors that foster its development, the importance of its encouragement and advancement, as well as the obstacles that hinder its growth

    Entrepreneurial opportunities and possibilities in primary health care

    Predmet rada je istražiti sustav primarne zdravstvene zaštite u Republici Hrvatskoj i Europskoj uniji te sadašnje stanje i mogućnosti daljnjeg razvoja poduzetništva u primarnoj zdravstvenoj zaštiti te prikazati na koji način pravni oblik ustrojstva ordinacije opće/obiteljske medicine u primarnoj zdravstvenoj zaštiti utječe na kvalitetu i dostupnost iste. Detaljnom analizom domaće i strane stručne literature radom se je prikazalo stanje i kvaliteta kao i problematika primarne zdravstvene zaštite u Republici Hrvatskoj i u Europskoj uniji, njezine organizacije te pravnog ustroja i utjecaja pravnog ustroja (privatni ili javni oblik) na dolazak liječnika u primarnu zdravstvenu zaštitu te kvalitetu zdravstvene zaštite i zadovoljstvo pacijenata sa pruženom uslugom zdravstvene zaštite. Istraživanjem se došlo do zaključka da su liječnici obiteljske medicine u razvijenim Europskim zemljama pretežno samozaposleni, dok u Republici Hrvatskoj prevladava javna privatni oblik djelovanja liječnika obiteljske medicine. Analizom se je došlo do zaključka kako u Mreži javnozdravstvene zaštite broj timova u privatnoj praksi sve više opada, dok se sve manje liječnika odlučuje na ostanak u općoj medicini što rezultira i manjom zainteresiranošću za privatnom praksom. Usporedbom financijskog ostvarenja za 2023. godinu privatna praksa je u svim pokazateljima učinkovitosti i kvalitete ostvarila značajnije rezultate u odnosu na liječnike obiteljske medicine u domovima zdravlja. Anketa koja je provedena među liječnicima privatne prakse ukazala je da pružena zdravstvene zaštite u privatnoj praksi opće/obiteljske medicine kvalitetnija, da su liječnici u privatnoj praksi motiviraniji, a isto tako većina njih misli da bi se više liječnika odlučilo ostati u obiteljskoj medicini da im je ponuđena privatna praksa. Rezultati istraživanja ukazuju da se privatna praksa treba razvijati te isto tako donijeti značajnije mjere kojima bi se poticao ostanak liječnika u obiteljskoj medicini te u konačnici njihov odlazak u privatnu praksu.The subject of the paper is to investigate the system of primary health care in the Republic of Croatia and the European Union and the current state and possibilities of further development of entrepreneurship in primary health care and to show how the legal form of organization of general/family medicine practice in primary health care affects its quality and availability. Through a detailed analysis of domestic and foreign professional literature, the paper presented the state and quality as well as the issues of primary health care in the Republic of Croatia and in the European Union, its organization and legal structure and the influence of the legal structure (private or public form) on the arrival of doctors in primary health care, as well as the quality of health care and patient satisfaction with the provided health care service. The research led to the conclusion that family medicine doctors in developed European countries are mostly self-employed, while in the Republic of Croatia, the public-private form of family medicine doctors' work prevails. The analysis led to the conclusion that the number of teams in private practice in the Public Health Protection Network is decreasing, while fewer and fewer doctors decide to stay in general medicine, which results in less interest in private practice. By comparing the financial performance for the year 2023, private practice achieved more significant results in all efficiency and quality indicators compared to family medicine doctors in health centers. A survey conducted among private practice doctors indicated that the health care provided in the private practice of general/family medicine is of better quality, that doctors in private practice are more motivated and also that most of them think that more doctors would decide to stay in family medicine if they were offered private practice. The results of the research indicate that private practice should be developed and more significant measures should be taken to encourage doctors to stay in family medicine and ultimately to go into private practice

    Consumers’ attitudes toward buying furniture online

    Suvremeni način trgovanja je postao skoro pa nemoguć bez dijelova internetskih usluga tj. bez kupovine putem interneta. Važnost internetske trgovine vidljiva je u svim dijelovima gospodarstva gdje se proizvodi i usluge razmjenjuju neovisno radilo se o B2B ili B2C tržištu. Iz tih razloga je globalna industrija namještajem imala značajnu dinamiku razvoja svoje ponude i potražnje u posljednja dva desetljeća. U ovom su radu na osnovu provedenog anketnog upitnika istražene su afektivne, kognitivne i konativne komponenta stava vezane za stavove potrošača o kupovini namještaja putem interneta. Cilj istraživanja prikupiti i analizirati podatke, identificirati koje komponente stava najviše doprinose odluci potrošača o namjeri kupovine namještaja. Pregledom rezultata anketnih upitnika, zaključeno je da afektivne komponente najviše doprinose namjeri potrošača da kupe namještaj putem interneta.The contemporary method of trade has become almost impossible without the components of internet services, most importantly online shopping. The importance of e-commerce is evident in all parts of the economy where products and services are exchanged, regardless of the B2B or B2C market. For these reasons, the global furniture industry has significantly developed the supply and demand chains over the past two decades. In this study, based on the conducted survey, the affective, cognitive, and conative components related to consumer attitudes towards online furniture shopping were investigated. The researches aim was to collect and analyze data and identify which attitude components contribute to consumers' purchasing decisions the most. Reviewing the results of the survey, it was concluded that the affective component contributes the most to the consumers' intention to purchase furniture online

    ESG in the oil and gas industry

    Analiza implementacije ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) standarda u naftnoj industriji stavlja naglasak na ekološke, društvene i upravljačke izazove te strategije održivog poslovanja. Cilj rada je istražiti kako se naftne kompanije prilagođavaju sve strožim regulatornim zahtjevima i globalnim trendovima održivosti, procijeniti utjecaj ESG standarda na njihove poslovne procese i rezultate te uočiti prakse koje mogu služiti kao model i za druge industrije. U radu su analizirani međunarodni standardi poput GRI i UN-ovih ciljeva održivog razvoja, kao i konkretni primjeri iz prakse vodećih regionalnih kompanija INA i Petrol. Posebna pažnja posvećena je pitanjima smanjenja emisija stakleničkih plinova, inovacijama, odgovornosti prema zajednici i važnosti transparentnog izvještavanja. Rezultati pokazuju da je ESG ključan za dugoročnu održivost i konkurentnost naftne industrije, ali i da su pred industrijom još uvijek brojni izazovi, poput neujednačenih standarda, aproksimacija u izvještavanju i nedostatka stručnjaka. Zaključno, daljnji razvoj ESG praksi je nužan za usklađivanje očekivanja dionika s postizanjem ciljeva vezanih uz održivo poslovanje.The analysis of the implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) standards in the oil and gas industry emphasizes ecological, social, and governance challenges, as well as sustainable business strategies. The aim of the paper is to examine how oil companies are adapting to increasingly strict regulatory requirements and global sustainability trends, to assess the impact of ESG standards on their business processes and performance, and to identify best practices that may serve as models for other industries. The paper analyzes international frameworks such as the GRI Standards and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, along with practical examples from leading regional companies INA and Petrol. The analysis pays special attention to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, encouraging innovation, supporting the community, and making reporting more transparent. The results show that ESG is crucial to the oil and gas industry's long-term survival and competitiveness, but they also draw attention to the sector's ongoing problems with non-standardized measurement procedures, greenwashing, and a lack of qualified experts. To conclude, the further development of ESG practices is necessary to align stakeholder expectations with sustainable development goals

    Mechanisms and issues of international taxation : the case of the United States and the United Arab Emirates

    Ovaj diplomski rad analizira mehanizme međunarodnog oporezivanja kroz usporedbu poreznih sustava Sjedinjenih Američkih Država (SAD) i Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata (UAE). Fokusira se na aspekte izbjegavanja dvostrukog oporezivanja, utjecaj poreznih politika na poslovanje i investicije te ulogu poreznih sustava u privlačenju stranih ulaganja. Sjedinjene Američke Države se oslanjaju na globalni sustav oporezivanja tj. oporezivanje globalnog dohotka, dok Ujedinjeni Arapski Emirati primjenjuju minimalne porezne obveze, uključujući nultu stopu poreza na dohodak za fizičke osobe. Rad se također osvrće na izazove poreznih rajeva, digitalne ekonomije i usklađivanje globalnih poreznih pravila. Rad predstavlja sistematski pregled dvije potpuno različite vrste poreznih jurisdikcija, ističući da razlike zapravo proizlaze iz različitih socioekonomskih ciljeva promatranih država. Međutim, upravo te razlike trebaju biti oslonac koji bi donositelju poreznih odluka trebao olakšati sistematizaciju poreznih sustava koji bi bili uzeti u razmatranje. U konačnici, da bi donositelj poreznih odluka, u sklopu poreznog planiranja, mogao donijeti pravilnu odluku o izboru porezne jurisdikcije prilikom adresiranja poreznih obveza, bilo kao fizičke ili pravne osobe.This thesis analyzes the mechanisms of international taxation through a comparison of the tax systems of the United States of America (USA) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It focuses on aspects of avoiding double taxation, the impact of tax policies on business and investments, and the role of tax systems in attracting foreign investment. The United States of America relies on the global system of taxation, i.e. taxation of global income, while the United Arab Emirates applies minimum tax obligations, including a zero rate of income tax for individuals. The paper also looks at the challenges of tax havens, the digital economy and the harmonization of global tax rules. The paper presents a systematic review of two completely different types of tax jurisdictions, pointing out that the differences actually rise from the different socioeconomic goals of the observed countries. However, precisely these differences should be a support that should facilitate the systematization of the tax systems that would be taken into consideration for the tax decision-maker. Consequently, so that the tax decisionmaker, as part of tax planning, could make the correct decision on the choice of tax jurisdiction when addressing tax obligations, whether as a natural or legal person

    Potentials of Licitars and Wooden Toys as Tourist Resources in Tourism in Marija Bistrica

    Mariju Bistricu kao turističku destinaciju obilježava vjerski turizam i njeno nacionalno svetište Majke Božje Bistričke. U samom mjestu je smještena crkva Blažene djevice Marije koja izaziva veliko divljenje svojim značajem te destinaciju godišnje posjeti nešto manje od milijun hodočasnika i turista. Marija Bistrica nije samo poznata po lokalnim resursima već i po svojim kulturnim manifestacijama kao su ,, Advent u Mariji Bistrici'', ,,Ljeto u Mariji Bistrici'', ,, Doček nove godine u podne'' koje uključuju brojne koncerte, sajmove, dječje radionice, izložbe i za razvijanje turističke aktivnosti kroz godinu. Tema potencijali igračaka i licitara kao turističkih resursa Marije Bistrice odnosi se na kulturne, socijalne i povijesne aspekte koji pridonose razvoju turizma. Drvene igračke i licitari obogaćuju turističku ponudu te imaju važnost u očuvanju lokalne tradicije i privlačenju turista. Dio su lokalne tradicije koja privlači turiste koji žele iskusiti autentične proizvode. Organiziranje radionica za licitare dodatno obogaćuje turističku ponudu tako što se pokaže posjetiteljima cijeli proces izrade licitara. Drvene igračke su još jedan važan etnosocijalni resurs koji pokazuje umjetničko djelo i bogatu tradiciju kao i kreativnost lokalnih majstora. Način njihove izrade se prenosio iz generacije na generaciju u određenim obiteljima te se zadržao do danas. Licitari i drvene igračke su uvrštene na reprezentativnu listu nematerijalne kulturne baštine svijeta od strane UNESCO-vog Odbora za nematerijalnu kulturnu baštinu. Cilj rada je istražiti licitare i drvene igračke kao potencijalne etnosocijalne turističke resurse u cilju razvoja turizma Marije Bistrice kao i samu turističku destinaciju te analizom i istraživanjem tržišta pokazati kako korištenje licitara i drvenih igračaka utječe na turizam i pridonosi njegovom razvoju u Mariji Bistrici. Istražiti će se kakvi su potencijali turističkih resursa za budućnost razvoja turizma u Mariji Bistrici te će se preporučiti prijedlozi za valorizaciju za njihovo daljnje iskorištavanje.Marija Bistrica as a tourist destination is characterized by religious tourism and its national shrine of the Mother of God of Bistrica. The town itself is home to the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is greatly admired for its significance and is visited by just under a million pilgrims and tourists annually. Marija Bistrica is not only known for its local resources but also for its cultural events such as "Advent in Marija Bistrica", "Summer in Marija Bistrica", "New Year's Eve at Noon", which include numerous concerts, fairs, children's workshops, exhibitions and for developing tourist activities throughout the year. The topic of the potentials of licitars and wooden toys as tourist resources in tourism in Marija Bistrica refers to cultural, social and historical aspects that contribute to the development of tourism. Wooden toys and licitars enrich the tourist offer and are important in preserving local tradition and attracting tourists. They are part of the local tradition that attracts tourists who want to experience authentic products. Organizing licitars workshops further enriches the tourist offer by showing visitors the entire process of making licitars. Wooden toys are another important ethnosocial resource that demonstrates a work of art and a rich tradition as well as the creativity of local craftsmen. The way they are made has been passed down from generation to generation in certain families and has been preserved to this day. Licitars and wooden toys have been included in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the World by the UNESCO board for the Intangible Cultural Heritage. The aim of the final assignment is to explore licitars and wooden toys as potential ethnosocial tourist resources for the development of tourism in Marija Bistrica as well as the tourist destination itself, and to demonstrate through market analysis and research how the use of gingerbread and wooden toys affects tourism and contributes to its development in Marija Bistrica. The potential of tourism resources for the future development of tourism in Marija Bistrica will be investigated and proposals for valorization for their further exploitation will be recommended

    Servant leadership in small and medium-sized enterprises in the Republic of Croatia

    Vodstvo služenjem jest koncept koji u središte stavlja služenje drugima, a ne osobnu moć, hijerarhijsku kontrolu ili status. Temelji se na unutarnjoj odluci pojedinca da najprije služi, iz koje proizlazi spremnost na vodstvo. Ključne značajke ovog pristupa uključuju poticanje rasta drugih, izgradnju odnosa temeljenih na povjerenju i poštovanju te usmjerenost na zajedničko dobro i dugoročnu održivost. Rezultati prethodnih znanstvenih istraživanja ukazuju na to da ovakav oblik vodstva pridonosi većoj organizacijskoj učinkovitosti, zadovoljstvu i angažmanu zaposlenika te jačanju otpornosti i inkluzivnosti organizacijske kulture. U kontekstu suvremenih društveno-gospodarskih izazova, vodstvo služenjem sve se češće prepoznaje kao održiva i vrijednosno utemeljena alternativa tradicionalnim hijerarhijskim modelima. U okviru rada provedeno je kvantitativno istraživanje u malim i srednjim poduzećima u Republici Hrvatskoj, s ciljem ispitivanja percepcije zaposlenika o ponašanjima nadređenih u skladu s načelima vodstva služenjem. Primijenjen je validirani model koji obuhvaća osam dimenzija: osnaživanje, stajanje u pozadini, odgovornost, opraštanje, hrabrost, autentičnost, poniznost i odgovorno upravljanje. Rezultati su pokazali da je dimenzija odgovornosti visoko izražena, dok su osnaživanje, hrabrost, stajanje u pozadini i odgovorno upravljanje prisutni u umjerenoj mjeri, i to na donjoj granici. S druge strane, autentičnost, poniznost i opraštanje zabilježili su nisku razinu izraženosti. Ukupna procjena ukazuje na niže umjerenu prisutnost dimenzija vodstva služenjem u ponašanju nadređenih. Dobiveni nalazi upućuju na djelomičnu primjenu načela vodstva služenjem u promatranom kontekstu, pri čemu se osobito ističe potreba za daljnjim razvojem osobina koje omogućuju izgradnju odnosa utemeljenih na autentičnosti, poniznosti i spremnosti na opraštanje. Rad time pridonosi razumijevanju potencijala vodstva služenjem za oblikovanje participativne i vrijednosno usmjerene organizacijske kulture u hrvatskim malim i srednjim poduzećima.Servant leadership is a concept that places serving others, rather than personal power, hierarchical control, or status, at the core of leadership. It is based on an internal decision of the individual to serve first, from which the willingness to lead naturally follows. The key characteristics of this approach include encouraging the growth of others, building relationships based on trust and respect, and focusing on the common good and long-term sustainability. Findings from previous scientific research suggest that this form of leadership contributes to greater organizational effectiveness, employee satisfaction and engagement, as well as enhanced resilience and inclusiveness of organizational culture. In the context of contemporary socio-economic challenges, servant leadership is increasingly recognized as a sustainable and value-driven alternative to traditional hierarchical models. This thesis presents a quantitative study conducted in small and medium-sized enterprises in the Republic of Croatia, aimed at examining employees’ perceptions of their superiors’ behaviors in accordance with the principles of servant leadership. A validated model comprising eight dimensions was applied: empowerment, standing back, accountability, forgiveness, courage, authenticity, humility, and stewardship. The results showed that the dimension of accountability was highly expressed, while empowerment, courage, standing back, and stewardship were present to a moderate extent, albeit at the lower threshold. On the other hand, authenticity, humility, and forgiveness were rated as low. The overall assessment indicates a lower moderate presence of servant leadership dimensions in the behavior of supervisors. The findings point to a partial application of servant leadership principles in the observed context, highlighting in particular the need for further development of traits that enable the building of relationships grounded in authenticity, humility, and willingness to forgive. This study contributes to a better understanding of the potential of servant leadership in shaping a participatory and value-oriented organizational culture within Croatian small and medium-sized enterprises

    U turbulentnom poslovnom okruženju sve više se postavlja pitanje ravnoteže između poslovnog i privatnog života zaposlenika te dobrobiti na poslu. Mnogi poslodavci, stoga, zaposlenicima omogućuju različite fleksibilne oblike rada, kao što su rad na daljinu, hibridni rad i drugi oblici rada. Autor istražuje povezanost rada na daljinu te ravnoteže poslovnog i privatnog života i dobrobiti na poslu. Cilj istraživanja bio je provesti analizu učestalosti rada na daljinu te istražiti i analizirati ravnotežu poslovnog i privatnog života te dobrobiti na poslu u kontekstu rada na daljinu. Empirijsko istraživanje provedeno je statističkom obradom dostupne baze podataka otvorenog pristupa, Europskom telefonskom istraživanju uvjeta rada 2021. godine (EWCTS) za vrijeme COVID-19 pandemije. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 36 europskih zemalja, među kojima i Hrvatska. Za potrebe istraživanja izdvojeni su rezultati ankete za Hrvatsku te uzorak od 1800 ispitanika. Rezultati korelacijske statističke analize pokazali su da rad na daljinu ima umjereno pozitivan utjecaj na ravnotežu privatnog i poslovnog života, dok su rezultati regresijske statističke analize pokazali da postoji značajan pozitivni odnos između dviji varijabli. Nadalje, istraživanje je pokazalo da ravnoteža poslovnog i privatnog života pozitivno utječe na dobrobit zaposlenika. Rad na daljinu, stoga, može poboljšati poslovnu i privatnu ravnotežu, ali ne nužno, jer postizanje ravnoteže prvenstveno ovisi o pojedincu i sposobnostima vlastite organizacije vremena. Istraživanje naglašava fleksibilnost rada kao važnu implikaciju organizacijama koje žele povećati poslovnu i privatnu ravnotežu zaposlenika, a samim time i njihovu dobrobit na posluIn a turbulent business environment, the balance between work and personal life of employees and their well-being at work is increasingly being questioned. Therefore, many employers provide employees with various flexible work options, such as remote work, hybrid work, and other forms of employment. The author investigates the relationship between remote work, work-life balance, and well-being at work. The aim of the research was to analyze the frequency of remote work and examine and analyze the work-life balance and well-being of employees in the context of remote work. The empirical research was conducted through statistical analysis of the available open-access database, the European Working Conditions Telephone Survey 2021 (EWCTS) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research involved 36 European countries, including Croatia. For the purposes of the study, results from Croatia were selected, with a sample of 1800 respondents. The results of the correlation statistical analysis showed that remote work has a moderately positive impact on work-life balance, while the results of the regression analysis indicated a positive significant relationship between the two variables. Furthermore, the research demonstrated that work-life balance positively affects employee well-being. Remote work, therefore, can improve work-life balance, but not necessarily, as achieving balance primarily depends on the individual and their ability to organize time. The research highlights the importance of work flexibility as a key implication for organizations aiming to improve the work-life balance of employees, and thus their well-being at work
