Alternative fuels in urban transport
U ovom diplomskom radu se predstavila problematika alternativnih goriva u urbanom prometu odnosno učestalost motora sa unutarnjim izgaranjem te njihovi nedostaci. Prikazale su se vrste goriva koje se koriste za motore sa unutarnjim izgaranjem i kako oni negativno utječu na okoliš. Predstavila se je strategija urbane održivosti odnosno kako ispušni plinovi djeluju na okoliš i kako se mogu isti ti plinovi pročistiti. Kao glavni predmet istraživanja predstavila su se sva alternativna goriva koja je moguće koristiti te mjere sa kojima bi se mogao poboljšati i smanjiti utjecaj emisija štetnih plinova, a zaključno je predstavljen primjer jedne marke automobila na pogon električnom energijom.This thesis presents the issue of alternative fuels in urban traffic, i.e. the frequency of internal combustion engines and their shortcomings. The types of fuel used for internal combustion engines and how they negatively affect the environment were presented. The strategy of urban sustainability was presented, that is, how exhaust gases affect the environment and how these same gases can be purified. As the main subject of the research, all the alternative fuels that can be used and the measures that could be used to improve and reduce the impact of harmful gas emissions were presented, and in conclusion, an example of one car brand powered by electricity was presented
3D printing technologies and construction of 3D printer
U ovom radu prikazan je povijesni pregled trodimenzionalnog ispisivanja, tehnologije ispisa i materijali koji se koriste uz FDM/FFF tehnologije. Glavni dio rada prikazuje razvoj modela pisača u Autodesk FUSION 360 programu, odabir i opis korištenih komponenti, i sklapanje pisača počevši od aluminijske konstrukcije do postavljanja i povezivanja elektroničkih komponenti. Nakon sklapanja slijedi podešavanje Marlin sustava za upravljanje i puštanje pisača u rad. Na kraju rada je prikazana analiza izrađenih dijelova i mogućnosti rada pisač.This paper shows historical preview of 3D printing, types of technologies, and materials that can be used for printing with FDM/FFF technologies. Main part of the paper shows the development of the model made in Autodesk Fusion 360 program, explanation and selection of material used for assembly of the printer from assembly of aluminum construction to finally connecting electronic components. After assembling printer, final part is configuration of Marlin code after which the 3D printer is ready to print. At the end test parts are being printed and analyzed
Organization of import business in practice of freight forwarding
Špediter, kao glavni sudionik prijevoznog pothvata, snosi najveću odgovornost za prijevozni proces. Njegov je zadatak dopremiti robu na odredište u što kraćem roku te na siguran i ekonomičan način. Ovaj završni rad naslova “Organizacija uvoznog posla u praksi špediterskog poslovanja“ u svoj fokus stavlja pojmove špedicije i špeditera kroz organizaciju i provedbu uvoznog posla. Svaka faza prijevoznog procesa objašnjena je na konkretnom primjeru uvoznog posla koji koordinira špediter uz svu potrebnu dokumentaciju koja je neophodna prilikom transporta i carinjenja robe.Forwarding agent, as the main participant in the transport undertaking, bears the greatest responsibility for the transport process. His task is to deliver goods to their destination as quickly as possible and in a safe and economical way. This final paper entitled "Organization of import work in the practice of forwarding business" focuses on the concepts of forwarding trade and forwarding agents through the organization and implementation of import business. Each phase of the transportation process is explained on a concrete example of an import job coordinated by a forwarding agent and includes all the necessary documentation that covers the process of transportation and clearance of goods

U ovom diplomskom radu govorit će se o javnom prijevozu putnika, međugradskim prigradskim i gradskim linijama javnog prijevoza, prometu u Republici Hrvatskoj, kako društveno okruženje u javnom prijevozu utječe na ljude, kako je pandemija COVID-19 utjecala na javni prijevoz i putnike te na koje načine su operateri javnog prijevoza pronašli rješenja za izlazak iz krize i vraćanju prihoda.
Javni prijevoz oblik je lokalnog putovanja koji omogućuje većem broju ljudi da putuju zajedno određenim rutama. Tipični primjeri vrsta javnog prijevoza među gradovima uključuju autobuse, vlakove i tramvaje dok brze željeznice i zrakoplovne linije dominiraju javnim prijevozom između gradova. Također postoje i pomorske linije kod gradova koji su vezani morem. Promet u Hrvatskoj oslanja se na nekoliko glavnih načina uključujući prijevoz automobilom, autobusom, vlakom, brodom i zrakoplovom.
Cestovni promet uključuje sveobuhvatnu mrežu državnih, županijskih i lokalnih ruta proširenu mrežom autocesta za putovanja na velike udaljenosti. Pomorski promet se oslanja prvenstveno prema lukama Rijeka, Ploče, Split i Zadar. Željeznička mreža prilično je razvijena, ali što se tiče međugradskog prijevoza, autobus je daleko češći od željeznice. Kao jedna od najvećih i najvažnijih industrija u svijetu, utjecaj zračne industrije na gospodarski razvoj, životni standard i produktivnost u Republici Hrvatskoj od velikog je značaja. Zračni promet je od velikog značaja za gospodarski razvoj Republike Hrvatske jer je njegov golem značaj u razvoju jedne od najvažnijih gospodarskih grana u Hrvatskoj, a to je turizam.
Postoje mnogi ključni elementi dinamičnog okruženja javnog prijevoza, ali jedna stvar koja je jasna da uvjeti uzrokuju nelagodu, od kojih neki i jesu fizički, ali većinom su društveni ili psihički. U takvim okolnostima ne čudi da javni prijevoz trenutno nije konkurentan osobnim vozilima. Pandemija COVID-19 ozbiljno je zahvatila javni promet u negativnom smislu, no operateri javnog prijevoza pronašli su rješenja vezana za sigurnost putnika.This thesis will discuss public passenger transport, intercity suburban and city public transport lines, traffic in the Republic of Croatia, how the social environment in public transport affects people, how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected public transport and passengers and what ways have public transport operators found solutions to get out of the crisis and restore income.
Public transport is a form of local travel that allows a large number of people to travel together on specific routes. Typical examples of types of public transport between cities include buses, trains and trams, while high-speed railways and airlines dominate public transport between cities. There are also maritime lines to cities that are bound by the sea. Transport in Croatia relies on several main modes, including transport by car, bus, train, ship and plane.
Road transport includes a comprehensive network of state, county and local routes augmented by a network of highways for long-distance travel. Maritime traffic relies primarily on the ports of Rijeka, Ploče, Split and Zadar. The railway network is quite developed, but as far as intercity transport is concerned, the bus is far more common than the railway. As one of the largest and most important industries in the world, the influence of the aviation industry on economic development, living standards and productivity in the Republic of Croatia is of great importance. Air traffic is of great importance for the economic development of the Republic of Croatia, as it is of great importance in the development of one of the most important economic branches in Croatia, namely tourism.
There are many key elements to a dynamic public transport environment, but one thing that is clear is that the conditions cause discomfort, some of which is physical, but most of it is social or psychological. In such circumstances, it is not surprising that public transport is currently not competitive with private vehicles. The COVID-19 pandemic has seriously affected public transport in a negative sense, but public transport operators have found solutions related to the safety of passengers
Maritime and transport policy of European union : principles, goals and instruments
Prometna i pomorska povezanost je od iznimne važnosti za Europsku uniju. Ako nema prometne povezanosti, nema integriranog tržišta. Na razvoj pomorske i prometne politike utječe velika složenost prometnog sektora, različit utjecaj europske politike u različitim zemljama te velike razlike u infrastrukturi zaštita okoliša i onečišćenje uzrokovano prometnim sustavom u smislu emisija i ekoloških troškova potrebne infrastrukture. Stoga EU mora uzeti u obzir sve potrebe i mogućnosti država članica, promičući akcije za povećanje razvoja veza na europskoj razini, iz šire perspektive od tradicionalnih nacionalnih planova. Uspjeh Europske unije u ovom važnom području odredit će brzinu integracije u drugim područjima i nužnost povećanja veza između država članica Europske unije kako bi se osiguralo da njezine dobrobiti dosegnu cijeli teritorij Zajednice.Transport and maritime connectivity is of exceptional importance for the European Union. If the traffic connection does not exist, then the integrated market does not exist. The development of maritime and transport policy is influenced by complexity of the transport sector, the different influence of European policy in different countries and the large differences in infrastructure, environmental protection and pollution caused by the transport system in terms of emissions and environmental costs of the necessary infrastructure. Therefore, the EU must take into account all the needs and possibilities of the member states, promoting actions to increase the development of ties at the European level, from a broader perspective than traditional national plans. The success of the European Union in this important area will determine the speed of integration in other areas and the necessity to increase the ties between the member states of the European Union to ensure that its benefits reach the entire territory of the Community

The technology of constructing the seat of a composite vessel powered by solar energy
Završni rad sastoji se od četiri dijela. Prvi dio opisuje motivaciju za izradu sjedala i rada, tj. Monaco Solar & Energy Boat Challenge, važnosti natjecanja kao i sama tehnička pravila, te tijek natjecanja U drugom dijelu rada obrađena je tema kompozitnih materijala, tj. od čega se sastoje, koja je njihova uporaba te koje su njihove prednosti i mane. Treći dio završnog rada bavi se vakuumskim tehnikama izgradnje kompozitnih konstrukcija te se detaljno opisuju sami sustavi, njihovi dijelovi i oprema. Četvrti dio sastoji se od opisivanja glavnih značajki plovila, konstruiranja sjedala te se detaljno se opisuje izgradnja sjedala: odabir tehnike izgradnje, odabir materijala, izrada kalupa, priprema kalupa i izvođenje gradnje te završna obrada sjedala.This undergraduate thesis consists of four parts. First part describes the motivation behind the buliding of the seat and writing of the thesis, i.e Monaco Solar & Energy Boat Challenge, and the importance of the competition, as well as the technical regulations and the course of the competition. Second part of the thesis covers the topic of composite materials i.e. what they are made of, what is their use and what are their advantages and disadvantages. Third part of the thesis deals with vacuum techniques of building composite constructions and describes in detail the systems, their parts and equipment needed. Last part will show the main features of the vessel, construction of the seat and it describes in detail building process of the seat: choosing the technique, choice of material, making of the mould, preparing the mould, building and finishing of the seat
Analysis of possibilities to reduce passenger waiting in airports
Svaka prometna grana ili poduzeće u kojoj se pojavljuju redovi čekanja treba pronaći ravnotežu između dovoljnog kapaciteta za optimalno funkcioniranje i održavanja troškova na minimumu. Teorija redova čekanja ispituje funkcioniranje sustava masovnog usluživanja, omogućavajući razumijevanje, istraživanje, analizu i rješavanje problema koji se mogu pojaviti u takvim sustavima. U radu je pozornost usmjerena na moguća rješenja i buduće inovacije na području rješavanja problema redova čekanja u zračnim lukama kao i njihova implementacija. Također je naglašena važnost predviđanja i rješavanja novonastalih uskih grla u zračnim lukama te u tom slučaju primjene metode virtualnih redova čekanja.Every transport branch or company where queues appear needs to find a balance between having enough capacity for optimal functioning and keeping costs to a minimum. Queuing theory examines the legitimacy of mass service systems, enabling the understanding, research, analysis, and resolution of problems that may arise in such systems. The paper focuses on possible solutions and future innovations in the field of solving the problem of queues at the airports and their implementation. The importance of predicting and solving newly created bottlenecks in airports and in that case applying the method of virtual queues was also emphasized

U ovom završnom radu govori se o Ljudskim faktorima i nesrećama na brodu koji rezultira gubitkom ljudskog života. Vrste nesreća na brodu su: vrlo teška pomorska nesreća: pomorska nesreća koja uključuje potpuni gubitak broda, jednu smrt ili ozbiljnu štetu za okoliš; teška pomorska nesreća: pomorska nesreća osim vrlo ozbiljne pomorske nesreće, koja uključuje brod i koja se odnosi na požar, sudar, udar, prizemljenje, oštećenje trupa i opreme na brodu, poplavu brodskih odjeljaka; pomorska nesreća: događaj ili slijed događaja, osim pomorske nesreće, koji se dogodio izravno u vezi s radom broda ugrožavajući njegovu sigurnost ili, ako se ne ispravi, koji bi mogao ugroziti sigurnost broda, njegovih putnika ili bilo koje druge osobe ili okoliš; te teška nesreća: nesreća koju je pretrpjela osoba, zbog čega je osoba nesposobna za rad više od 72 sata, samo u slučaju da se nesreća dogodi u skladu s pomorskom nesrećom koja je zahvatila brod.This final paper discusses Human Factors and Accidents on a Ship that results in the loss of human life. „RO-RO brodovi, podjela i obilježja” je rad koji opisuje RO-RO brodove kroz povijesni razvoj brodova i tehnologije od samog početaka primjene do danas te vrste tereta koji se prevoze na njima. Opisuje obilježja RO-RO brodova; konstrukcije i karakteristike te manipulaciju tereta, kao i podjelu prema raznim karakteristikama. Rad se sastoji od uvoda, 5 poglavlja uz odgovarajuća potpoglavlja, zaključka te literature i popisa slika. Ključne korištene riječi su; RO-RO brodovi, RO-RO teret, manipulacija, RO-RO tehnologija, RO-RO teret i rampe.In the paper “RO-RO vessels, types and characteristics” RO-RO vessels are described, their development through history, the technology used, from their very beginnings until today, and about the cargo handled and transported on them. Also, the paper discusses the construction of the RO-RO vessels, the characteristics which separate them from each other, it lists the types of RO-RO vessels and the way cargo is handled on them. The paper has five chapters with subchapters, apart from the introduction, conclusion, list of literature used and photograph description.
