Automation systems of smart houses
Ovaj rad istražuje "smart home" sustave, odnosno "pametne kuće", koje integriraju napredne tehnologije s ciljem povećanja udobnosti, sigurnosti i energetske učinkovitosti. Automatizacija je ključna komponenta ovih sustava, omogućujući uređajima da samostalno izvršavaju zadatke na temelju unaprijed definiranih postavki, senzora i algoritama učenja. U radu su obrađeni različiti uređaji, poput pametnih brava, sigurnosnih kamera, pametne rasvjete, termostata, pročistača zraka i digitalnih glasovnih asistenta, koji zajedno stvaraju integrirani ekosustav. Naglasak je stavljen na to kako ove tehnologije olakšavaju svakodnevne aktivnosti korisnika, uz optimizaciju potrošnje energije i poboljšanje sigurnosti. Iako pametne kuće nude brojne prednosti, važno je razmotriti tehničke izazove, sigurnosna pitanja i rizike povezane s privatnošću prije implementacije ovih rješenja. Automatizacija ovih sustava također zahtijeva pažljivo planiranje kako bi se osigurala njihova pouzdanost i interoperabilnost.This paper explores smart home systems, which integrate advanced technologies aimed at increasing comfort, security, and energy efficiency. Automation is a key component of these systems, enabling devices to perform tasks autonomously based on predefined settings, sensors, and learning algorithms. The paper discusses various devices, such as smart locks, security cameras, smart lighting, thermostats, air purifiers, and digital voice assistants, which together create an integrated ecosystem. Emphasis is placed on how these technologies facilitate users' daily activities while optimizing energy consumption and enhancing security. Although smart homes offer numerous benefits, it is important to consider the technical challenges, security issues, and privacy risks before implementing these solutions. The automation of these systems also requires careful planning to ensure their reliability and interoperability
Tourism and sustainable development in the coastal area
Obalni turizam ima ključnu ulogu u poticanju gospodarstva kroz generiranje značajnih prihoda i stvaranje novih radnih mjesta. Razvoj infrastrukture u turizmu koristi i turistima i lokalnim zajednicama. No, ovaj rast često nosi sa sobom izazove za okoliš. Izgradnja turističkih objekata može ugroziti osjetljive ekosustave, poput koraljnih grebena i mangrova. Povećanje otpada i otpadnih voda može zagađivati obalni i morski okoliš, što ugrožava bioraznolikost i zdravlje ljudi. Nadalje, turizam može dovesti do komercijalizacije lokalnih kultura, utjecati na njihovu autentičnost te izazvati društvene napetosti zbog prenapučenosti i natjecanja za resurse. Postizanje održivog razvoja u obalnim područjima zahtijeva postizanje ravnoteže između ekonomskih koristi, zaštite okoliša i društvenog blagostanja. To uključuje usvajanje odgovorne turističke prakse, ulaganje u ekološki prihvatljivu infrastrukturu i uključivanje lokalnih zajednica u procese donošenja odluka kako bi se osiguralo da turizam ima pozitivan utjecaj na njihov život te čuva prirodnu i kulturnu baštinu za buduće generacije.Coastal tourism is a vital contributor to the economy, generating substantial income and job opportunities. The development of tourism infrastructure benefits both visitors and local residents. However, this growth can pose environmental challenges. The construction of tourist facilities may endanger delicate ecosystems like coral reefs and mangroves. The rise in waste and wastewater can contaminate coastal and marine environments, posing threats to biodiversity and public health. Additionally, tourism can lead to the commercialization of local cultures, impacting their authenticity and causing social tensions due to overcrowding and resource competition. Achieving sustainable development in coastal regions necessitates striking a balance between economic gains, environmental conservation, and social well-being. This involves implementing responsible tourism practices, investing in eco-friendly infrastructure, and engaging local communities in decision-making processes to ensure that tourism positively impacts their lives while safeguarding natural and cultural heritage for future generations
PLL synthesizer
U ovom radu opisan je dizajn i implementaciju PLL sintetizatora za VHF radio uređaje u pomorskoj komunikaciji. Analizira radne principe svih komponenti i njihovu primjenu u tehničkom području koje često prolazi nezapaženo. Studija pruža sveobuhvatan pregled PLL sintetizatora, ističući njihovu važnost i široku primjenu u modernim elektroničkim sustavima. Proučavanjem operativnih principa, tehničkih izazova i praktičnih primjena.This thesis describes the design and implementation of a PLL synthesizer for VHF radio devices in maritime communication. It analyzes the working principles of all components and their application in the technical field, which often goes unnoticed. The study provides a comprehensive overview of PLL synthesizers, highlighting their significance and widespread use in modern electronic systems
Logistics of product shipping on the example of Drvenjača d.d. Fužine
Osnovni problem istraživanja u ovom radu je analiza posebnosti i složenost logistike
otpreme proizvoda unutar poslovanja tvrtke Drvenjače d.d. Fužine s posebnim naglaskom na
specifičnosti pomorske otpreme proizvoda. U radu je naglašena procedura otpreme proizvoda
do krajnjeg kupca. Sukladno definiranom problemu istraživanja, ciljevi istraživanja su obraditi
relevantne zakone, propise i dokumentaciju povezanu s nabavom proizvoda, uključujući
otpremnicu, teretnicu, račune, Incoterms paritete, akreditive i ostale dokumente i isprave koji su
ključni u međunarodnj pomorskoj otpremi i poslovanju. Pri tom je navedeno obrađeno u
teorijskom smislu, a potom i u praktičnom smislu na konkretnom primjeru iz prakse poslovanje
tvrtke Drvenjača d.d. Uutar prakse poslovanja navedene tvrtke obrađen je konkretan primjer
uključujući faze zaključivanja kupoprodajnog ugovora za određeni proizvod, zaključene paritete
otpreme, proizvodnju proizvoda te otpremu pomorskim ili kopnenim prijevozom.The main research problem of this paper is the analysis of the peculiarities and complexity
of the shipping logistics within the company „Drvenjače d.d.“ Fužine with a special emphasis
on the specifics of shipping products by sea. The paper emphasizes the procedure of shipping
the product to the final customer. In accordance with the defined research problem, the
objectives of the research are to process the relevant laws, regulations and documentation related
to the procurement of products, including the waybill, bill of lading, invoices, INCOTERMS
parities, letters of credit and other documents that are crucial in international maritime shipping
and business. In doing so, the above was processed in a theoretical sense, and then in a practical
sense, using a concrete example from the practice of the business of the company Drvenjača
d.d. Within the business practice of the aforementioned company, a concrete example is
processed, including the stages of concluding a sales contract for a specific product, shipping
parities, product production and shipping by sea or land transport
Application of augmented reality technology in online shopping
Proširena stvarnost (AR) predstavlja tehnologiju koja omogućuje spajanje digitalnih elemenata u fizičkom svijetu. U današnjem vremenu, primjena AR tehnologije je široko rasprostranjena i često se koristi na društvenim mrežama, u video igrama, vojsci, medicini i drugim područjima. Jedno od najnovijih načina primjena AR tehnologije je u online trgovini gdje sve više pokazuje ogroman potencijal.
Ovaj rad prikazuje potencijalne prilike za implementaciju proširene stvarnosti u procesima unapređenja korisničkog iskustva digitalnog marketinga i online trgovine.
U radu je također prikazan način na koji određene trgovine koriste tehnologiju proširene stvarnosti u svojoj online prezentaciji kako bi se što bolje predstavile kupcima.Augmented reality is a technology that enables the fusion of digital elements with the physical world. Nowadays, the application of AR technology is widespread and is most commonly used in social media, video games, the military, medicine and other fields. One of the latest applications of AR technology is online shopping, where it is showing increasing potential.
This paper explores the potential opportunities of implementing augmented reality in the processes of improving user experience, digital marketing and online commerce.
The work also shows how certain stores use augmented reality technology in their online sales to better present themselves to customers
Historical overview of COSPAS-SARSAT system development
COSPAS-SARSAT je međunarodni satelitski sustav za asistenciju operacijama
traganja i spašavanja koji pruža globalnu pokrivenost za detekciju i lociranje signala u nuždi
emitiranih pomoću pripadajućih uređaja. U ovom radu analizirani su svi segmenti sustava i
detaljno je opisan njegov nastanak i razvitak. Osnovan 1979. godine kroz suradnju između
Kanade, Francuske, SAD-a i Sovjetskog Saveza, sustav koristi satelite u LEO, MEO i GEO
orbiti za brzo otkrivanje signala i njihovo prosljeđivanje zemaljskim stanicama. Opisan je i
razvoj satelitskih sustava kao i kopnenih stanica kojim se postigla globalna pokrivenost i
brzi odgovor na sve vrste kriznih situacija. Sustav je posebno značajan za zrakoplovnu i
pomorsku industriju jer pruža mogućnost jednostavnog i efektivnog slanja poziva pogibelji
iz bilo kojeg dijela svijeta. Kroz stalne inovacije i međunarodnu suradnju, COSPAS-SARSAT ostaje temelj suvremenih SAR operacija.COSPAS-SARSAT is an international satellite system for assisting search and rescue
operations that provides global coverage for the detection and location of distress signals. In
this paper, all segments of the system are studied and its origin and development is described
in detail. Established in 1979 through a collaboration between Canada, France, the US and
the Soviet Union, the system uses satellites in LEO, MEO and GEO orbits to rapidly detect
signals and relay them to ground stations. The development of satellite systems as well as
ground stations, which achieved global coverage and quick response to all types of crisis
situations, is described. The system is particularly important for the aviation and maritime
industries as it provides the ability to easily and effectively send distress calls from anywhere
in the world. Through constant innovation and international cooperation, COSPAS-SARSAT remains the foundation of modern SAR operations

Management of the implementation of traffic infrastructure investments of the county port authorities on the example of the port open to public traffic Cres
Županijska lučka uprava Cres prijavila se na Poziv za sufinanciranje unaprjeđenja lučke infrastrukture u funkciji obalnog linijskog pomorskog prometa koji je objavilo Ministarstvo mora, prometa i infrastrukture. Potrebna dokumentacija i obrasci su uspješno dostavljeni te je donesena Odluka o dodjeli bespovratnih financijskih sredstava. Projekt je financiran sredstvima Operativnog programa Konkurentnost i kohezija 2014. – 2020. u okviru specifičnog cilja 7ii1 Povećanje dostupnosti naseljenih otoka za njihove stanovnike. Dodijeljena sredstva utrošena su za provedbu projekta Rekonstrukcija i dogradnja zapadnog dijela luke Cres. Projektom se dogradio postojeći pristan, osigurala se nužna zaštita akvatorija unutar lučkog područja luke Cres, omogućio se adekvatan privez i sigurna veza za linijske brodove. Projekt spada pod sektor pomorskog transporta i ribarstva, a osim povezivanja otoka i stanovnika, predstavlja i investiciju koja omogućava infrastrukturni i gospodarski razvoj.The County Port Authority of Cres has applied for the Call for co-financing of the improvement of port infrastructure in the function of coastal liner maritime traffic, which was announced by Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure. The necessary documentation and forms were successfully submitted and the decision on the allocation of non-reimbursable financial resources was made. The project was financed with the funds of the Operational Program Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014 – 2020 within the specific objective 7ii1 Increasing the accessibility of inhabited islands for their inhabitants. The allocated funds were used for the implementation of the project Reconstruction and extension of the western part of the port of Cres. The project expanded the existing wharf, ensured the necessary protection of the waters within the port area of the port of Cres, provide dan adequate mooring and safe connection for liner ships. The project falls under the sector of maritime transport and fishing, and in addition to connecting the island and its inhabitants, it also represents and investment that enables infrastructural and economic development

Specifities of ship's maintenance and ship systems
Suvremeni brodovi su složene tehničke cjeline koje se sastoje od više sustava i podsustava: sustav upravljanja brodom, sustav za sigurnosnu i ostalu zaštitu broda i osoba, sustav poriva, sustav trupa, sustav energetskog napajanja i distribucije, sustav rukovanja teretom i sustav nastambi posade i putnika. Svi ovi sustavi su povezani i utječu na ostvarenje svrhe broda i to se ostvaruje održavanjem. U radu je napravljen uvid na metode održavanja, brodske sustave i u razlike sustava rukovanja teretom suvremenih brodova.Modern ships are complex technical entities that consist of several systems and subsystems: the ship management system, the system for safety and other protetction of the ship and people, the propulsion system, the hull system, the energy supply and distribution system, the cargo handling system and the crew and passengers accommodation system. All these systems are connected and affect the fulfillment of the ship's purpose, and this is achieved through maintenace. The paper provides insight into maintenace methods, ship systems and the differences in cargo handling systems of modern ships
