    The impact of feedback quality on interpersonal relationships in the workplace

    Problem koji se istražuje u ovom radu su međuljudski odnosi te njihov utjecaj na zadovoljstvo djelatnika unutar poslovnih organizacija. Preko platforme „Google obrasci“ napravljena je anketa, u kojoj je anketirano 230 ispitanika iz različitih organizacija. Cilj istraživanja je uočiti probleme s kojima se zaposlenici susreću na poslu i uvidjeti koliko su zadovoljni odnosom s kolegama i/ili svojim nadređenima, te prikazati koliko povratne informacije utječu na međuljudske odnose na samom radnom mjestu. Rezultati dobiveni ovim istraživanjem podudaraju se sa znanstvenim istraživanjem “Komunikacija kao temelj međuljudskih odnosa i uspješnosti organizacije”. Najviše poklapanja se pokazalo kod tvrdnje “Vjerujem da je komunikacija temelj međuljudskih odnosa”, što je dokaz da je komunikacija zaista nužna za sve dobre poslovne i privatne odnose.The problem that is investigated in this paper is precisely interpersonal relationships and their impact on employee satisfaction within business organizations. A survey was made through the platform "Google Forms", in which 230 different people from different organizations were surveyed. The aim of the survey is to identify the problems that employees encounter at work and to see how satisfied they are with the relationship with colleagues and / or their superiors, and to show how much feedback affects interpersonal relationships in the workplace. The results obtained by this research coincide with the scientific research "Communication as the foundation of interpersonal relationships and organizational success." The most similarity was shown in the statement "I believe that communication is the foundation of interpersonal relationships", which is proof that communication is really necessary for all good business and private relationships

    Trgovačke mornarice imaju za cilj ostvarenje što većeg profita, uz što manje troškove. Kako bi se ostvario taj cilj, pri izgradnji brodova i proizvodnji brodskih motora, koriste se sve naprednije i učinkovitije tehničke i tehnološke metode. U ovom radu je obrađen primjer prikupljanja podataka o radu jednog tipa brodskog brzokretnog četverotaktnog dizelskog motora u svrhu njegove dijagnostike i optimiranja rada. Na primjeru brodskog motora razmatrani su uređaji za dijagnostiku, u cilju optimiranja njegovog rada. Tim složenim tehnološkim postupkom, analizirani su najvažniji parametri, koji utječu na djelotvornost rada motora sa svrhom smanjenja njegovih radnih troškova i produljenja životnog vijeka.Merchant fleets aim to make as much profit as possible, at the lowest possible cost. In order to achieve this goal, more efficient technical and technological solutions are used in shipbuilding industry and in the production of marine engines. This paper deals with a high-speed four-stroke marine diesel engine for the purpose of its diagnostics and optimization. On the example of a marine engine, diagnostic devices are considered, in order to optimize its operation. With this complex technological procedure, the most important parameters are analyzed, which affect the efficiency of the engine in order to reduce its operating costs and extend its service life

    U ovom diplomskom radu objašnjena je važnost upotrebe novih tehnologija u cilju postizanja što veće efikasnosti i što manjih emisija štetnih tvari te su vršena ispitivanja emisija brodskih motora tijekom plovidbe. Razvoj svjetskog gospodarstva stvorio je povećanu potrebu prijevoza robe i dobara morskim putem. Svjetska trgovačka mornarica emitira velike količine dušikovih oksida, ugljičnog monoksida, ugljičnog dioksida, ugljikovodika, sumpornih oksida i čađe u atmosferu uzrokujući globalno zatopljenje i efekt staklenika. Opisane su primarne i sekundarne metode smanjenja emisija ispušnih plinova. Tvrtke Wärtsilä i MAN razvile su unaprijeđene sporokretne motore RT-flex i MC-C koje povećavaju ukupnu efikasnost brodskog motora i zadovoljavaju propise o ispušnim emisijama. IMO konvencije ograničavaju navedene emisije štetnih tvari, posebno NOx i SOx, pomoću odredbi Tier I, Tier II, Tier III i Odredbe 14. Mjerenja i kontrola su jedne od ključnih elemenata u tehnološkom razvoju modernih brodskih sustava.In this work it is described importance of implementation of new technologies in order to achieve the lowest possible emissions of harmful substances and tests of emissions from marine engines during navigation. World economy development created increased need of goods transport via searoutes. World merchant navy creates large amounts of nitric oxide, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons, sulphur oxides and soot resulting with global warming and greenhouse effect. Primary and secondary methods for pollutant emissions reduction are described. Companies Wärtsilä i MAN developed enhanced versions of low-speed engine named RT-flex and MC-C which increase total efficiency of marine engine. IMO conventions regulate above mentioned pollutant emissions, particulary NOx and SOx, with directives Tier I, Tier II, Tier III and Regulation 14. Measurement and control are one of key figures in technology development of modern marine systems

    Lučke mobilne dizalice jedan su od temeljnih prekrcajnih sredstava na kontejnerskim terminalima. Zbog svoje široke primjene, jednostavnosti u manipulacijama teretom te efikasnog i brzog prekrcaja tereta sve su zastupljenije u modernim lukama. Različite izvedbe mobilnih dizalica koriste se u svrhu jednostavnosti, okretnosti te brzine manipulacija uz što manja opterećenja na lučku industriju i infrastrukturu. U novije doba, lučke mobilne dizalice izrađuju se i u kombiniranim sustavima s ostalim obalnim dizalicama. Osim klasičnih izvedbi ovih dizalica koriste se i autodizalice za ostale lučke radove te radove koje lučke mobilne dizalice ne mogu obaviti na najefikasniji način.Mobile harbour cranes are one of the fundamental misdemeanors at container terminals. Due to their wide applications, simplicity in cargo handling and efficient and fast cargo manipulation, they are widely used in modern ports. Different versions of mobile cranes are used for the purpose of simplicity, agility and speed of handling with the least possible load on the port industry and infrastructure. In recent times, port mobile cranes are also made in combined systems with other shore cranes. In addition to the classic versions of these cranes, autocranes are also used for other port tasks and works that mobile harbour cranes cannot perform in the most efficient way

    Cilj završnog rada je pružiti uvid u regulatorno pravni okvir o uklanjanju podrtina u međunarodnoj i nacionalnoj plovidbi. Međunarodna pomorska organizacija (IMO) razvija usklađene međunarodne standarde koji se bave problematikom sigurnosti plovidbe, posebno u pogledu zaštite ljudskih života i očuvanju morskog okoliša. U RH se sigurnost plovidbe definira Pomorskim zakonikom, podzakonskim aktima te odgovarajućim međunarodnim ugovorima. Međunarodnom konvencijom o uklanjanju podrtina iz 2017. jedinstveno je regulirano uklanjanje podrtina. Konvencija definira područje primjene i predmet Konvencije kao i postupke uklanja podrtine te druge pravne radnje vezane za uklanjanje podrtina. Podrtina može biti brod, dio broda (i predmeti na brodu) koji je nasukan ili potopljen i predstavlja veliku opasnost za sudionike pomorskog prometa te za morskih okoliš. Zbog toga je uklanjanje podrtina od iznimne važnosti za sigurnost plovidbe i zaštitu morskog okoliša.The aim of the thesis is to provide insight into the regulatory and legal framework for the removal of wrecks in international and national navigation. The International Maritime Organization (IMO) is developing harmonized international standards dealing with the issue of navigation safety, especially with regard to the protection of human lives and the preservation of the marine environment. In the Republic of Croatia, the safety of navigation is defined by the Maritime Code, by-laws that correspond to the relevant international agreements. The International Convention on the Removal of Wrecks from 2017. uniquely regulates the removal of wrecks. The Conventions define the scope and subject matter of the Convention as well as the procedures for removing wrecks and other legal acts. A wreck can be a ship, part of a ship (and objects on a ship) that is stranded or sunk and poses a great danger to maritime traffic participants and to the marine environment. Therefore, the wreck of exceptional importance for navigation safety and protection of the marine environment is removed

Suvremeno poslovanje je poprimilo globalne razmjere, stoga menadžment pokušava razviti poslovne modele koji su stabilni i konkurentni na globalnoj razini. Cilj ovog rada jest pokazati utjecaj krize na poduzeća i njihove odrednice, ali i predstaviti strategiju čijom će se implementacijom u budućnosti nastojati ostvariti definirana vizija.This master's thesis will focus on the determinants of modern business of Croatian companies. Doing business in a modern, dynamic environment is based on the timely use of information and knowledge to create new products. Modern business has gone global, so management is trying to develop a business model that is stable and competitive globally.     Very fast passenger ships

    U ovom radu se obrađuje tema vrlo brzih putničkih brodova. Objašnjene su poteškoće vezane uz plovidbu vrlo brzih brodova (engl. High-speed crafts - HSC), regulative te kako to utječe na brodarske tvrtke. Otkazivanja i kašnjenja putovanja zbog vremenskih neprilika te gubitak novca stvaraju veliko opterećenje brodarskim tvrtkama. Uz sama ograničenja što se tiče plovidbe vrlo brzih brodova, nailazi se na ograničenja i posebna pravila prilikom gradnje luka kako bi se izbjegli zastoji, gužve i ekološka zagađenja. Uz klasične vrlo brze putničke brodove kao što su npr. katamarani, opisani su i vrlo brzi brodovi kao što su: brodovi na zračnom jastuku (engl. Hovercraft) i multimodalni plovni objekti (engl. Wing-in-Ground - WIG). Rad se dotiče i hrvatske brodarske tvrtke Jadrolinija i njene flote. Vrlo brzi putnički brodovi danas predstavljaju budućnost te njihova sve veća potražnja ukazuje na to da će se njihova upotreba i izgradnja narednih godina značajno povećati.This paper deals with the subject of high-speed passenger ships. Difficulties associated with navigating HSC ships are explained, as are the regulatory implications for shipping companies. Cancellations and travel delays due to bad weather and loss of money are a major burden on shipping companies. In addition to the restrictions affecting the navigation of very fast ships, there are restrictions and special rules when building a port to avoid congestion, excessive crowding, and pollution. In addition to the classic High-speed crafts (HSC) such as catamarans, high-speed ships such as Hovercrafts and Wing-in-Ground (WIG) technology ships are described. The paper also deals with the Croatian shipping company Jadrolinija and it's fleet. High-speed passenger ships represent the future today and their growing demand indicates that their deployment and construction will increase significantly in the coming years

    Prijevoz teških tereta brodom, danas je doveo do revolucije u modernizaciji tehnologije koja je bazirana na njihov prijevoz i manipulaciju. Do toga su doveli proizvođači kojima je prijevoz proizvoda u jednom komadu bio povoljniji nego sastavljanje na njihovom odredištu. Zbog specifičnosti takva tereta grade se posebni brodovi namijenjeni njegovom prijevozu, a njihova konstrukcija je riješena na način koji je različit od konstrukcije klasičnih trgovačkih brodova. Tako postoje tri tipa brodova za prijevoz teških tereta, a to su: RO-RO, LO-LO i FLO-FLO brodovi. Ovi brodovi imaju jake teretne uređaje namijenjene manipulaciji teškim teretim, palube su im izvanredno solidno građene, grotla vrlo prostrana, a balastni sustav takav da se uz adekvatnu stručnost mogu rješavati razni stabilnosti te ukrcajno/iskrcajni problem.The transportation of heavy cargo by has led ship, today to a revolution in the modernization of technologies based on their transportation and handling. This was caused by manufacturers who found it more convenient to transport products in one piece than to assemble them at their destination. Due to the specifics of such cargo, special ships are built for its transport, and their construction is solved in a way that is different from the construction of classic merchant ships. Thus, there are three types of heavy cargo ships, namely: RO-RO, LO-LO and FLO-FLO ships. These ships have strong cargo devices intended for handling heavy loads, their decks are extremely solidly built, the hatches are very spacious, the ballast system is such that with an adequate structure, various stable loading / unloading problems can be solved

    Pravni poslovi osiguranja broda, robe koju brod prevozi, odgovornost brodovlasnika odnosno brodara i svi rizici vezani za plovidbu brodom nazivaju se pomorsko osiguranje. Iako Pomorski zakonik ne definira ugovor o pomorskom osiguranju, može se kazati da je to pravni posao kojim se jedna stranka (osiguratelj), obvezuje drugoj stranci iz ugovora (osiguraniku), uz naplatu odgovarajuće cijene (premije), naknaditi štete koje njeni interesi (brod, teret) pretrpe u pomorskom pothvatu uslijed ostvarenja ugovorenih opasnosti (rizika). Ugovor o pomorskom osiguranju je trgovačko pravni posao koji se ubraja u naplatno obvezne ugovore. Na ugovor se primjenjuju pravna vrela koja vrijede za trgovačkopravne poslove, a s obzirom na specifičnost ovog pravnog posla vrijede načela koja pobliže označavaju pravnu narav ugovora. Pomorski zakonik svojim odredbama osigurava da se načela ostvaruju prilikom sklapanja i izvršavanja ugovora.Legal activities of insurance of a ship, goods transported by a ship, liability of the shipowner or shipowner and all risks related to navigation are called maritime insurance. Maritime insurance contract is defined as a legal transaction by which one party undertakes to compensate the other party to the contract, with the appropriate price, damages to its interests suffer in a maritime venture due to the realization of the agreed hazards. A marine insurance contract is a commercial legal transaction that is included in the obligatory contracts. The legal sources that apply to commercial legal transactions are applied to the contract, and given the specificity of this legal transaction, the principles that more closely indicate the legal nature of the contract apply. The Maritime Code, with its provisions, ensures that the principles are realized when concluding contracts

    Na brodu postoje razni uređaji i strojevi čije rad ne bi bio moguć bez reguliranja njihovih varijabli. U ovom završnom radu objašnjene su vrste regulatora koje se koriste na brodu, ali i šire te su obrazložene sve prednosti i svi nedostatci tih regulatora, detaljno je objašnjen najčešće korišteni tip regulatora odnosno PID regulator. Uspoređene su dvije metode reguliranja razine tekućine u spremniku: klasična metoda regulacije te kaskadna metoda regulacije, te su eksperimentima obavljenim u laboratoriju automatike na Pomorskom fakultetu u Splitu utvrđene sve prednosti i nedostatci navedenih metoda, stoga se može zaključiti u kojim je situacijama povoljnije koristiti metodu kaskadne regulacije, a u kojim situacijama je ipak bolje koristiti klasičnu metodu reguliranja.There are various devices and machines on ship whose operation would not be possible without regulating their variables. This thesis explains the types of regulators used on board, but also beyond, and explains all the advantages and disadvantages of these regulators, also explains in detail the most commonly used type of controller or PID controller. Two methods of liquid level regulation were compared: the classical method of regulation and the cascade method of regulation and experiments performed in the automation laboratory at the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Split identified all the advantages and disadvantages of these methods, therefore, it was concluded in which situations it is more favorable to use the method of cascade regulation, and in which situations it is still better to use the classical method of liquid level and flow regulation
