    Cilj ovog završnog rada je pružiti uvid u analizu Voyage Data Recorder-a. Povećani razvoj pomorskog prometa krajem prošlog stoljeća uzrokovao je i povećanje broja brodova koji plove morem, što je dovelo i do većeg broja pomorskih nezgoda, kao i do potrebe da se osigura veća sigurnost na moru, zaštiti osoblje, posada i morski okoliš. Kako bi se shvatio uzrok i smanjio broj pomorskih nezgoda te povećala sigurnost na moru, Međunarodna pomorska organizacija odlučila je implementirati uređaj koji snima podatke o brodu za vrijeme plovidbe. Neki od tih podataka su smjer i brzina broda, pozicija, kretanje, glavni alarmi i sl. Na primjeru FURUNO VR-7000 modela opisati će osnovne karakteristike i specifikacije VDR-a.The aim of this thesis was to provide an insight into the analysis of the Voyage Data Recorder. The increased development of maritime transport at the end of the last century caused a greater number of ships sailing the sea, which led to a greater number of maritime accidents as well as the need to ensure greater safety at sea, protect personnel, crew and the marine environment. In order to understand the cause and reduce a number of maritime accidents and increase safety at sea, the International Maritime Organization decided to implement a device that records and preserve data about the ship's status during navigation. Some of such data are the ship's direction and speed, position, movement, main bridge alarms, etc. Using the example of the FURUNO VR-7000 model, basic characteristics and specifications will be described of VDR

    U ovom radu predstaviti će se različite vrste senzora tlaka koje su u upotrebi i razlike između pojedinih senzora. Definirat će se različite vrste tlaka koje se mogu mjeriti te uređaji koji se koriste za mjerenje tlaka na brodovima u različitim medijima. Na primjeru Siemensovog S7-1200 programibilnog logičkog kontrolera (PLC) pokazat će se spajanje senzora tlaka na PLC te postupak konfiguracije uređaja preko TIA Portal STEP 7 programa koji služi za razvijanje, uređivanje, praćenje i upravljanje procesima i projektima.The thesis describes the different types of pressure sensors and the differences between those sensors. Further, the different types of pressure measurement are defined and devices to measure pressure on ships in various mediums. The example of a Siemens S7-1200 programmable logic controller will show the connection of a pressure sensor to a PLC and configuring a device via the TIA Portal STEP 7 program, which is used to develop, edit, monitor, and manage processes and projects

    Tema ovog završnog radu je opis procedura LNG broda prije ulaska odnosno izlaska iz suhog doka te je pritom obrađeno u tekstu sama svrha LNG broda i postupci sa teretom i cjelokupnim procesom eksploatacije. U radu je obrađena i objašnjena sama svrha suhog dokovanja, njegov način te zbog čega se ono mora obavljati. U radu je dalje obrađena tema o sigurnosti u doku i na samom brodu te procesi i provjere prije ulaska u suhi dok i izlaska iz suhog doka. Cilj ovog završnog rada je ukazati na bitnost i nužnost redovitog održavanja svih pregleda, servisa i dokovanja LNG brodova, te pobliže objasniti čitatelju sve procese i operacije koje vrši brod u vremenskom razdoblju od 5 godina koje se moralo uzeti u obzir prilikom izrade ovog rada.The topic of this final paper is a description of the procedures of the LNG ship before entering or leaving the dry dock, and the text deals with the purpose of the LNG ship and the procedures with the cargo and the entire operation process. The paper deals with and explains the purpose of dry docking, its method, and why it must be performed. The paper further deals with the topic of safety in the dock and on the ship itself, as well as the processes and checks before entering the dry dock and leaving the dry dock. The aim of this final paper is to point out the importance and necessity of regular maintenance of all inspections, services and docking of LNG ships, and to explain to the reader all the processes and operations performed by the ship in a period of 5 years that had to be taken into account

    Završni rad predstavlja sustav isključivanja ventilacije u slučaju nužde na brodu za kružna putovanja ‘Symphony of the Seas’. Prikazane su značajke programibilnog logičkog kontrolera te su opisane osnovne karakteristike razine polja AS-i, PROFIBUS te PROFINET komunikacijskih protokola koji se koriste za komunikaciju uređaja u industriji. Definirane su kontrole isključivanja sustava ventilacije strojeva te isključivanje HVAC ventilacije u slučaju nužde na brodu. Također, prikazane su upute i svi potrebni koraci za odvođenje dima iz prostorija pod alarmom. To uključuje i listu prioriteta ponovnog pokretanja ventilacije nakon isključivanja.This thesis shows the "Symphony of the Seas" emergency shutdown ventilation system. The PLC features are presented, and the basic field-level characteristics of AS-i, PROFIBUS and PROFINET communication protocols used for industry communication devices are described. Controls concerning monitoring of machinery ventilation emergency shutdown and HVAC emergency shutdown on board are defined. Also, instructions and all the required steps to smoke extraction from the rooms under alarm are shown, including priorities for restarting ventilation after shutdown

    Matematika je znanost koja se primjenjuje u brojnim oblastima kao i u svakodnevnom životu. Još od davnina navedena se koristi kako u tehničkim granama tako i u samom pomorstvu. Drugim riječima može se reći da nema matematike ne bi bilo niti pomorstva. Korisnost ove znanosti promatra se kroz brojna područja, a ono najvažnije svakako je matematika u rukama pomorca, kao i matematika u segmentima vještačenja na brodovima. Matematika u rukama pomorca najznačajnija je za samu navigaciju i provedbu manevriranja brodom kako bi se izbjegle neželjene situacije kao što su primjerice pomorski sudari. Temeljni cilj rada je prikazati učinak i važnost primjene matematike u vještačenju na brodovima te na praktičnim primjerima primijeniti teoriju. U konkretnom smislu istaknut će se geometrijska matematika, trigonometrijska matematika te financijska ili ekonomska matematika.Mathematics is a science that is applied in many areas as well as in everyday life. From the past, it has been used both in technical branches and in the seafaring itself. In other words it can be said that there is no mathematics there would be no seafaring. The usefulness of this science is seen through a number of areas, and most importantly, mathematics is in the hands of the seafarer, as well as mathematics in the expertise fields on ships. Mathematics in the hands of a seafarer is most important for navigation and implementation of ship maneuvering in order to avoid unwanted situations such as maritime collisions. The basic aim of the paper is to show the effect and importance of the application of mathematics in ship expertise on a practical basis and apply the theory to practical examples.     Detekcija objekata je danas, u suvremenom tehnološkom svijetu, jedno od najvažnijih područja računalnog vida i koristi se u mnogim industrijama. U ovom radu obraditi ćemo što je točno detekcija objekata, što su umjetne neuronske mreže, zašto su one temelj suvremenih sustava za detekciju objekata te kako one funkcioniraju. Također, obraditi ćemo različite algoritme koji se koriste u detekciji objekata, a posebnu pozornost ćemo posvetiti MobileNet SSD algoritmu kojeg smo koristili za detekciju objekata u programskom kodu koji je napisan u programskom jeziku python.Object detection is currently, in the modern technological world, one of the most important areas of computer vision and it is used in many industries. In this paper, we will discuss exactly what object detection is, what artificial neural networks are, why they are the basis of modern object detection systems and how they function. Also, we will deal with different algorithms used in object detection, special attention we will give to the MobileNet SSD algorithm that we used for object detection in the programming code written in the python programming language

    U ovom radu je opisan sustav za regulaciju brzine vrtnje porivnog brodskog motora. Prikazan je osnovni princip automatske regulacije, te objašnjeni svi njeni parametri, kao i regulatori koji se koriste. Teoretski su opisani sustavi za regulaciju brzine vrtnje porivnog motora s vijkom s fiksnim krilima kao i sheme i objašnjenja raznih oblika regulatora. Objašnjen je i sustav promjenjivog vremena ubrizgavanja goriva koji uvelike pomaže u regulaciji brzine vrtnje glavnog motora, kao i visokotlačni akumulacijski sustav ubrizgavanja goriva. Naveden je i primjer regulacije brzine vrtnje motora Wartsila 18V32 sa skicama regulatora i cijelog sustava za regulaciju brzine vrtnje tog motora.This paper describes a propulsion marine engine revolution regulation system. The paper also describes basic principle of the automatic control and explains all its parameters, as well as the types of regulators. Propulsion marine engine with fixed propeller is described in theory with schemes and explanations of varios forms of governors. The variable injection timing system, which greatly helps in regulation of main engine revolution, as well as the common rail fuel injection system are also explained. An engine revolution regulation system of Wartsila 18V32 is also given with schemes of the governor and the system in its whole

    Brod kao pokretni sustav je neovisan u smislu vlastitog pogona, proizvodnje električne i toplinske energije te po potrebi i slatke vode. Slatka voda se na brodu koristi za piće i pranje koja osigurava egzistenciju posade i održavanje pogona, u što se ubraja čitav niz sustava i uređaja koji koriste slatku vodu, kao što je kotlovska voda, rashladna voda glavnog i pomoćnih motora, pomoćnih brodskih uređaja (separatori itd.) Zbog toga je nužno osigurati oprskbu slatkom vodom što se na brodovima pored dobave s kopna postiže i primjenom više metoda proizvodnje slatke vode pomoću morske vode. U ovom radu opisani su i prikazani načini proizvodnje slatke vode na brodu.Ship as a moving system needs to be independent when it comes to propulsion, in producing electric energy, producing thermal energy and producing fresh water. Fresh water onboard is used for drinking and washing which enables life of people and propulsion maintenance, in which it is considered all kinds of systems and machines that use fresh water such as boiler water, main and auxiliary engine cooling water, auxiliary devices (separators etc.). It is necessary to enable a ship, next to supply of fresh water from shore, to use methods of producing fresh water from sea water onboard

    Temeljni dio GMDSS-a (engl.Global Maritime Distress and Safety System-GMDSS) su komunikacijski uređaji VHF-a (engl. Very High Frequency). VHF i VHF DSC (engl. Digital Selective Calling) kao dio sustava komuniciranja omogućavaju korisniku sustava da pošalje poziv svim brodovima ili obalnim stanicama u dometu sa svake točke svog putovanja. Za razliku od starog sustava prije implementacije GMDSS-a ovaj novi sustav je omogućio komunikaciju broda s obalnom radijskom postajom. Novi sustav također ne ovisi o veličini broda, nego o području u kojem brod plovi, zbog toga što su se dimenzije brodova i jahti u zadnjim desetljećima povećale. Sigurnost plovidbe posljedično ovisi o mogućnosti komuniciranja s obalom i ostalim brodovima u okruženju. VHF DSC je bitan zbog toga što poruke odašilje na udaljenost do 30 nautičkih milja i to je područje u kojem je realno moguće spašavanje u optimalnom vremenskom intervalu.One of the basic elements of the GMDSS system is VHF. VHF and VHF DSC as a system element of communication enable the system user to send a call to all ships or coastal entities within range from each point of their voyage. Unlike the old system before the GMDSS, this new system enabled the communication of a vessel with a coastal radio station. The new system also does not depend on the size of the ship, but on the area where the ship is sailing, because of the dimensions of the vessel, yachts have increased in the last decades. Safety of navigation is consequently dependent on the possibilities of communicating with the coast and other vessels in the environment. The VHF DSC is important because it emits a distance of up to 30 nautical miles (Nautical Mile-NM) and is an area where there is a realistic rescue in a few hours

    Cilj ovog završnog rada je pružiti uvid u sustave za napajanje generatora pare na brodovima. Pobliže će se objasniti različitosti u sustavima napajanja kod visokotlačnih i niskotlačnih generatora pare, parno turbinski pogon broda, sustav za napojne vode te propisi i pravila održavanje vode. U završnom dijelu rada prikazat će se na primjeru LNG broda Excalibur sustav za napajanje generatora pare.The aim of the thesis is to provide an insight into the boiler systems (or steam generator) on ships. Differences in power supply systems for high-pressure and low-pressure boilers, turbine propulsion of the ship, feed water system and regulations and rules for water maintenance will be explained in more detail. In the final part of the paper, the boiler system will be presented on the example of the LNG ship Excalibur
