    U ovom radu su opisane pogreške vezane za brodski sustav ECDIS koji služi kao zamjena za navigaciju papirnatim kartama. ECDIS je nastao zbog potrebe za sigurnijom i efikasnijom navigacijom. Prednosti ECDIS-a uključuju jednostavnije planiranje putovanja, prilagodljive alarme i upozorenja te integraciju s ostalim navigacijskim uređajima. Nedostatci takvog sustava proizlaze iz cijene opreme i obuke posade. Pogreške na ECDIS-u mogu poteći od sustavnih pogrešaka koje se vežu uz uređaje kao GPS, radar i drugi. Ljudske pogreške na ECDIS-u potječu od manjka obuke posade, pretjeranog oslanjanja na uređaje i oglušavanje na alarme.This thesis will cover errors pertaining to ECDIS which is used as an alternative to paper chart navigation. ECDIS was developed due to the need for safer and more efficient navigation. Advantages include simpler passage planning, customizable alarms and warnings and integration with other navigational equipment. The disadvantages are tied to the cost and crew training. ECDIS errors can develop from systematic errors that are tied to GPS, radar and other instruments. Human errors come from a lack of crew training, overreliance and alarm deafness

    Radiokomunikacije koristeći se elektromagnetskim valovima, jedini su način prijenosa informacija na veliku udaljenost gdje nije moguća uporaba fizičke veze. Svjetski pomorski sustav za pogibelj i sigurnost (engl. Global Maritime Distress and Safety System – GMDSS) je međunarodno dogovoreni skup sigurnosnih postupaka, vrsta opreme i komunikacijskih protokola koji se koriste radi povećanja sigurnosti i olakšavanje spašavanja brodova, čamaca i zrakoplova koji se nalaze u pogibeljnoj situaciji. Vrlo visoki frekvencijski pojas (engl. Very high frequency – VHF) smatra se pojas od 156 MHz do 174 MHz, koristi se kod komunikacija na maloj udaljenosti, te u praksi, ima manje smetnja i izobličenja zvuka nego kod korištenja pojasa s nižim frekvencijama. TRANSAS TGS 5000 GMDSS simulator je visoko sofisticirani softverski proizvod koji se instalira na osobna računala, namijenjen izobrazbi budućih pomoraca koji tek trebaju steći ovlaštenja, ali i iskusnih pomoraca. Uz pomoć TRANSAS TGS 5000 GMDSS simulatora napravljena su četiri scenarija uspostave veze između dva broda preko VHF DSC Sailor opreme.Radiocommunications using electromagnetic waves are the only way to transmit information over long distances where the use of a physical connection is not possible. The Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) is an internationally agreed set of safety procedures, types of equipment and communication protocols used to increase safety and facilitate the rescue of ships, boats and aircraft in distress situation. Very high frequency band (VHF) is the band from 156 MHz to 174 MHz, and is used for short distance communications, and in practice, has less interference and sound distortion than when using bands with lower frequencies. TRANSAS TGS 5000 GMDSS simulator is a highly sophisticated software product that is installed on personal computers, intended for the training of future seafarers who have yet to acquire certification, but also for experienced seafarers. By using TRANSAS TGS 5000 GMDSS simulator, four scenarios of establishing a connection between two ships via VHF DSC Sailor equipment were made

    Cilj ovog rada je objasniti strategije komunikacije. Na osnovu provedene analize vezeno za strategije komunikacije došlo se do zaključka kako komunikacija omogućava razmjenu informacije s drugim ljudima. Bez kvalitetne komunikacije gotovo je nemoguće ostvariti dobre poslovne rezultate. Važno je komunicirati profesionalno, dosljedno, točno, uredno i kvalitetno. Strateško komuniciranje je svrhovito korištenje komunikacije za postizanje određenog cilja ili ishoda te upravljanje vremenom i određivanje prioriteta. Dobra komunikacija obavezna je za pomorsku sigurnost, sigurnu plovidbu i pomorsko poslovanje. To je poput niti koja povezuje različite funkcije, odjele, ljude u bilo kojoj organizacijskoj strukturi, bilo da se radi o brodovima, obali ili cijeloj tvrtki. Kako su pomorci iz multikulturalne sredine potreban im je zajednički jezik za komunikaciju. Održavanje snažne i jasne komunikacije možda je najvažniji dio osiguravanja sigurnosti plovila u pomorskoj industriji te glavni cilj strategije komuniciranja u pomorstvu.The aim of this paper is to explain communication strategies. Based on the analysis carried out regarding communication strategies, it was concluded that communication enables the exchange of information with other people. Without quality communication, it is almost impossible to achieve good business results. It is important to communicate professionally, consistently, accurately, neatly and with quality. Strategic communication is the purposeful use of communication to achieve a specific goal or outcome, as well as time management and prioritization. Good communication is mandatory for maritime safety, safe navigation and maritime business. It is like a thread that connects different functions, departments, people in any organizational structure, be it ships, shore or the whole company. As seafarers come from a multicultural environment, they need a common language for communication. Maintaining strong and clear communication is perhaps the most important part of ensuring vessel safety in the maritime industry and the main goal of a maritime communication strategy

    Humor je jedan od najučestalijih elemenata ljudske interakcije i kao takav ima važnu ulogu u izgradnji i održavanju dobrih odnosa s poslovnim kolegama. Istovremeno, humor može poslužiti za postizanje određenih ciljeva, kao što su smanjenje stresa ili jačanje vodstva unutar određene skupine. Cilj ovog rada je osvrt na humor, njegovu uporabu u poslovnom okruženju i njegov itekako snažan utjecaj koji ostavlja na zajednicu i njezinu koheziju. Tako se na poslovnom mjestu, s jedne strane, odvija formalna i ozbiljna interakcija vezana uz korporaciju, a s druge strane, neformalna interakcija koja nije u uskoj vezi s poslom koji se obavlja. Druga vrsta interakcije može se povezati s rekreacijom i opuštanjem. Ona se događa u onom trenutku kada se posao na trenutak zaustavi i kada se kolege spontano okupe i uključe u razgovornu igru koja uključuje uporabu šala, zagonetki, viceva i sličnoga. U radu se prikazuje pozitivan utjecaj humora na ljudsko zdravlje. U pomorskom zanimanju velika uloga je na kapetanu broda, ali na i educiranosti članova posade, kako humora na brodu ne bi negativno utjecao na članove posade, a s obzirom na multikulturalnost.Humor is one of the most common elements of human interaction and as such has an important role in building and maintaining good relationships with business colleagues. At the same time, humor can serve as a tool for achieving certain goals, such as reducing stress or strengthening leadership within a certain group. The aim of this work is look at humor, its use in the business environment and its very strong impact on the community and its cohesion. In the workplace, there is a formal and serious interaction, connected to the corporation taking place, on the one hand, and an informal interaction, not tightly related to business, on the other hand. The later type of interaction can be connected to recreation and relaxation. It takes place at that moment when business is put on hold and colleagues spontaneously gather up and engage into a conversational game that includes the usage of jokes, riddles and so on. This work shows positive influence of humor to human health. In maritime job big part of role relies on captain of the ship, and also on crew member education, so that humor do not have negative influence on crew member despite multiculturality

    Tema završnog detaljno analizira odnos čovjeka i okoline u smislu pronalaženja ključnih faktora koji mogu dovesti do pomorske nesreće. Kao posljedica nesreći analizira se stres te važnost pravodobnog donošenja odluka. Ovaj rad se također bavi problematikom ljudskog faktora kao uzroka pomorskih nesreća, Konvencijama koje obuhvaćaju radne uvjete, radno vrijeme, komunikaciju i planiranje, te pravilne procjene rizika na brodu. Pregledom i analizom nekoliko pomorskih nesreća dati će se osvrt na utjecaj stresa kod donošenja odluka u kriznim situacijama.The subject of this thesis is based on a detailed analysis of the human and environmental factors that ultimately led to maritime accident. As a result of the accident itself, stress is also analyzed and the importance of timely decision making. This thesis also addresses the issue of human factors in maritime accidents, conventions that include working conditions, working hours, communication, and planning, and how to properly conduct an onboard risk assessment. Review and analysis of several maritime accidents will provide an overview of the impact of stress on decision making in crisis situations

    Pomorstvo u širem smislu obuhvaća skup djelatnosti i vještina povezanih s morem. Iako je sam pojam pomorstva vrlo širok, u prvom redu se odnosi na pomorske gospodarske aktivnosti ukljuĉujući brodarstvo, brodogradnja, odnosno bilo kakvu eksploataciju mora. Cilj rada je obraditi povijesni aspekt tih djelatnosti na istoĉnoj obali Jadrana, i to od prvih primitivnih plovila koja su bila saĉinjena od debla i pokretana obiĉnom drvenom motkom do izuma i primjene suvremenih pogona i brodograĊevnih materijala. Pomorska povijest naroda uz more bitan je dio njihovog nasljeĊa, pa tako i u Hrvata.Maritime in a broader sense includes a set of activities and skills related to the sea. Alhough the term maritime itself is very broad, it primarily refers to maritime economic activities such as shipping, shipbuilding, fishing or any exploitation of sea. The historical aspect of these activities on the eastern Adriatic coast will be deal with, respectively the ship as their carrier.Its evolution will be show from the first primitive vessels that were made of trunks and propelled by an ordinary wooden pole to the invention and application of oars, anchors, rudders, sails and finally mechanical propulsion as weel as the application of various shipbuilding material.     U ovom završnom radu istražuje se razvoj marina i nautičkog turizma, s posebnim fokusom na inovacije vezane za održivi razvoj. Marine kao najsloženije nautičke luke imaju veliku ulogu u razvoju gospodarstva pomorskih zemalja. One su jedan od važnijih ekonomskih pokretača područja u kojem se nalaze, te snose veliku odgovornost za društvenu dobit i ekološku održivost. Iz tog razloga javlja se potreba za inovacijama i stvaranja novih sustava upravljanja koje se brinu da razvoj marina bude konstantan i prilagođen današnjem tehnološkom napretku. Također, jedan od značajnijih problema u razvoju marina i na plažama je briga za okoliš i održavanje čistoće mora i okoliša. Svakodnevno se baca otpad u more i tako zagađuje morska flora i fauna. Stoga se u radu opisuju rješenja kojima se nastoje rješavati problemi održivog razvoja, pri čemu se navode nove tehnologije koje omogućuju uspostavljanje ekološke održivosti morskog ekosustava, odnosno održivosti nautičkog turizma.This final paper examines the development of marinas and nautical tourism, with a special focus on innovations related to sustainable development. Marinas, as the most complex nautical ports, play a major role in the development of the economy of maritime countries. They are one of the most important economic starters in the area in which they are located, and bear great responsibility for social profit and environmental sustainability. For this reason, there is a need for innovations and the creation of new management systems that ensure that the development of the marina is constant and adapted to today's technological progress. Also, one of the most important problems in the development of marinas and beaches is the concern for the environment and maintaining the cleanliness of the sea and environment. Waste is thrown into the sea every day and thus pollutes the marine flora and fauna. Therefore, the paper describes solutions that seek to solve the problems of sustainable development, while citing new technologies that enable the establishment of the ecological sustainability of the marine ecosystem, that is, the sustainability of nautical tourism

    U razvoju svjetske trgovine i turizma veliku ulogu imaju brodovi. Osim za održavanje temperatura raznih namirnica u svakidašnjem prijevozu, rashladni odnosno klimatizacijski sustavi koriste se za ostvarivanje osjećaja ugode, tokom plovidbe, putnicima i posadi. Glavni dijelovi sustava su kondenzator, kompresor, isparivač, prigušni element te rashladno sredstvo. Rashladna sredstva kroz povijest su se razlikovala, te se njihov odabir temeljio na utjecaju na okoliš. Prvi freoni su bili, s termofizičkog stajališta, najbolje rashladno rješenje, ali su se pokazali kao veliki negativni utjecaj na ozonski omotač. Stoga danas težimo naći njihove ekonomski i ekološki prihvatljive zamjene. Osim hlađenja i grijanja, važan dio ovog sustava je i ventilacija. Ona može biti prirodna ili prisilna, a koristi se za poboljšanje rashladnog učina. U osnovi sustav se zasniva na prijelazu toplinske energije s tvari veće temperature na tvar niže temperature, pa je obrađen svaki dio brodskog rashladnog uređaja te njihove uloge.Ships play a major role in the development of world trade and tourism. In addition to maintaining the temperature of various foods in everyday transport, refrigeration or air conditioning systems are used to create a feeling of comfort, during the voyage, for passengers and crew. Main components are such as condenser, compressor, evaporator, damping element and refrigerant. Refrigerants have varied throughout history, and their selection was based on environmental impact. The first CFCs were, from a thermophysical point of view, the best refrigeration solution, but they have proven to have a major negative impact on the ozone layer. Therefore today, we strive to find their economically and environmentally acceptable substitutes. In addition to cooling and heating, an important part of this system is ventilation. It can be natural or forced, which is used to improve the cooling performance. Basically, the system is based on the transfer of thermal energy from a substance of higher temperature to a substance of lower temperature, so each part of the ship's cooling device and their roles is processed
