    Problem koji se istražuje u završnom radu jesu značajke i razvoj marina u Šibensko-kninskoj županiji. U radu se istražuju obilježja i razvoj marina kao temeljnih luka nautičkog turizma u Republici Hrvatskoj, s naglaskom na marine u Šibensko-kninskoj županiji. Danas u Republici Hrvatskoj postoji nešto više od 60 marina prilično ravnomjerno raspoređenih uz hrvatsku obalu, čime se omogućuje učinkoviti razvoj nautičkog turizma na cijelom Jadranu. U Šibensko-kninskoj županiji posluje 14 marina, od kojih su najznačajnije Marina Frapa, D-Marin Mandalina, Marina Hramina i Marina Kremik. Analiza marina u Šibensko-kninskoj županiji pokazala je da te marine imaju veći broj morskih i suhih vezova te da nautičarima nude razne sporedne i dodatne usluge, pri čemu su te usluge gotovo jednake u svim marinama, uz iznimku Marine Frapa koja posjeduje neke dodatne sadržaje koje druge odabrane marine u Šibensko-kninskoj županiji ne posjeduju.The problem that is investigated in final paper are the features and development of marinas in Šibenik-Knin County. The paper investigates the characteristics and development of marinas as basic ports of nautical tourism in the Republic of Croatia, with an emphasis on marinas in Šibenik-Knin County. Today in the Republic of Croatia there are slightly more than 60 marinas fairly evenly distributed along the Croatian coast, which enables the effective development of nautical tourism throughout the Adriatic. There are 14 marinas in Šibenik-Knin County, the most important of which are Marina Frapa, D-Marin Mandalina, Marina Hramina and Marina Kremik. The analysis of marinas in Šibenik-Knin County showed that these marinas have a larger number of sea and dry berths and that they offer sailors various ancillary and additional services, with these services being almost the same in all marinas, with the exception of Marina Frapa which has some additional facilities. other selected marinas in Šibenik-Knin County do not have one

    Ship ramp automatization

    Rad obrađuje sustav automatizacije brodske rampe na primjeru trajekta Juraj Dalmatinac, tvrtke Jadrolinije. Sklopovska podrška automatiozacije brodske rampe temelji se na PLC uređaju S7 - 1200 tvrtke Siemens. Programska podrška projektu je razvijena u aplikaciji TIA Portal. Za programiranje uređaja se koristio ljestvičasti način programiranja. Sprega između čovjeka i stroja relaizirana je upotrebom HMI pokazivača KPT-700 tvrtke Siemens.The thesis describes and develops boat ramp automatization on the Juraj Dalmatinac ferry from the Jadrolinija. The project’s hardware support is realized using the Siemens S7 - 1200 PLC device. The project was developed in the TIA Portal application. The ladder programming method was used to develop the project. The HMI display KPT-700 utilizes the interaction between man and machine from Siemens

    SPECTROMETER FOR RAMAN AND PHOTOLUMINESCENCE SPECTROSCOPY WITH VARIABLE SPECTRAL RESOLUTION FOR MARINE APPLICATIONS

    The maritime industry includes all stationary and floating infrastructure needed for maritime transport and trade. Therefore, it is directly related to the marine environment. However, it is necessary to follow the regulations issued by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to reduce the damage to the marine environment and reduce the maintenance caused by the marine environment. One of the techniques used for this purpose is Raman and photoluminescence spectroscopy (PL). Raman and PL spectroscopy are important analytical tools in materials science that provide information on the vibrational and electronic properties of molecules and crystals. This dissertation presents the results of a novel approach to Raman and PL spectroscopy that takes advantage of variable spectral resolution by using zoom optics in a monochromator in front of the detector. The results show that the spectral intervals of interest can be acquired at different zoom factors, significantly reducing the acquisition time and changing the spectral resolution for different zoom factors. The smallest spectral intervals acquired at the maximum zoom factor yield higher spectral resolution suitable for the Raman spectroscopy. In contrast, larger spectral intervals acquired with the minimum zoom factor yield the lowest spectral resolution suitable for the PL spectroscopy. The proof-of-concept was demonstrated using a zoom lens with a zoom factor of 6. Then prototype spectrometer was demonstrated using a zoom lens with a zoom factor of 18. Special electronics were developed to allow automated Raman and PL spectra acquisition. The graphical user interface (GUI) was developed for spectra acquisition. The resulted spectra obtained were compared to those obtained with a high-quality commercial spectrometer. The comparison was performed on several different materials for Raman and PL and the statistical analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to evaluate the spectra obtained. The results show that such spectrometer could be an efficient and fast tool for the search of Raman and PL bands of unknown materials and the subsequent spectral acquisition of the spectral interval of interest with a suitable spectral resolution.     Sustainable development goals in nautical tourism

    U ovome radu cilj je istražiti održivi razvoja nautičkog turizma i ciljeve održivog razvoja (SDGs) s fokusom na mogućnosti njihove implementacije u nautičkom turizmu. Ciljevi održivog razvoja predstavljaju zajednički plan za mir i prosperitet za ljude i planet. Turizam, osobito morski i obalni, suočava se s velikim izazovima, od globalnih pritisaka poput klimatskih promjena do negativnog pritiska na morske ekosustave te narušavanja društveno-kulturnih vrijednosti lokalnih područja. Stoga se poduzimaju brojne inicijative i programi kako bi se uspostavio održivi razvoj turizma, a samo jedan takav primjer je održivi razvoj tzv. Plava ekonomija. Nautički turizam svojim utjecajem može poboljšati kvalitetu turizma i pridonijeti očuvanju morskog i obalnog područja. Održivi turizam ima potencijal pridonijeti, izravno ili neizravno, ostvarenju gotovo svih ciljeva održivog razvoja do 2030.The aim of the thesis was to provide an insight into the sustainable development of nautical tourism and sustainable development goals (SDGs) with a focus on the possibilities of their implementation in nautical tourism. The sustainable development goals represent a shared plan for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and in the future. Tourism, especially marine and coastal, faces major challenges, from global pressures such as climate change to negative pressure on marine ecosystems and disruption of socio-cultural values of local areas. Therefore, numerous initiatives and programs are undertaken in order to establish the sustainable development of tourism, and only one such example is the sustainable development of the so-called Blue economy. With its influence, nautical tourism can improve the quality of tourism and contribute to the preservation of the sea and coastal areas. Sustainable tourism has the potential to contribute, directly or indirectly, to the achievement of almost all sustainable development goals by 2030

    Shipowner's and pilot's liability for damages during pilotage

    U završnom radu analizira se odgovornost brodara i peljara za štetu koja nastane za vrijeme peljarenja. Peljarenje je vođenje plovnog objekta od strane stručnih osoba - peljara i davanje stručnih savjeta zapovjedniku broda, radi sigurne plovidbe u lukama, tjesnacima i drugim područjima unutarnjih morskih voda i teritorijalnog mora Republike Hrvatske. Pri plovidbi zahtjevnijim područjima kao što su luke, zaljevi, uski i frekventni prolazi, gusto otočje, uski i plitki kanali ili riječni tokovi, poslovi peljarenja bitno pridonose sigurnosti plovidbe. Svaka država propisuje obvezno peljarenje za brodove, uzimajući u obzir njihove dimenzije, vrstu tereta i gustoću prometa na određenom plovnom putu ili unutar nekog područja. Peljarenje je u Republici Hrvatskoj regulirano Pomorskim zakonikom i Pravilnikom o pomorskom peljarenju. Cilj ovog rada je objasniti ulogu peljara u odvijanju sigurne pomorske plovidbe i definirati njegove zadatake iz kojih proizlaze pravna pitanja u vezi odgovornosti za štetu tijekom peljarenjem.In this bachelor’s thesis the liability of shipowners and pilots for damage caused during pilotage is analysed. Pilotage is the navigation of vessels by professional persons - the pilots and advising the ship master to navigate safely in ports, straits and other areas of internal sea waters and the territorial sea of the Republic of Croatia. When navigating in more demanding areas such as harbours, bays, tight sea passages with dense ship traffic, dense islands area, tight and shallow channels or river flows, pilotage operations significantly contribute to the navigation safety. Each country prescribes mandatory pilotage for ships, considering their dimensions, the type of cargo and the density of ship traffic on a certain waterway or within a certain area. Pilotage in the Republic of Croatia is regulated by the Maritime Code and the Ordinance on maritime pilotage. The objective of this thesis is to elaborate the role of maritime pilot in maritime safety and to define his tasks and arising legal questions regarding his liabilities in cases of damages caused by pilotage

    Spearfishing tehniques

    Vrsta ribolova gdje podvodni ribolovac teži ostvarivanju razliĉitih ulova korištenjem razliĉitih tehnika naziva se podvodni ribolov. Podvodni ribolov pripada sportsko-rekreacijskoj disciplini. Ovakva disciplina iziskuje znaĉajnu koliĉinu psihiĉkog i fiziĉkog napora. Za postizanje takvih sposobnosti potrebno je konstantno trenirati. Bitna komponenta uspješne relizacije podvodnog ribolova je pravilan odabir opreme koja je odabrana sukladno lovĉevom iskustvu, fiziĉkim predispozicijama i tehnici lova. Prakticiraju se iduće tehnike: lov po rupama, lov na ĉeku, lov u poniranju, lov prikradanjem i kombinirane tehnike. Lov po rupama predstavlja tehniku detaljnog pregledavanja potencijalnog ribljeg utoĉišta. Lov na ĉeku zahtijeva mirnoću prilikom ĉekanja prilaska znatiželjne ribe. Lov poniranjem kao jedna od najstarijih tehnika predstavlja zaranjanje prema plijenu uoĉenom s površine. Lov prikradanjem podrazumijeva šuljanje po morskom dnu i ulov plijena uz faktor iznenaĊenja. Sve ĉešće lovci koriste kombinaciju navedenih tehnika.Spearfishing is the fishing technique where spearfisher is trying to catch a fish using different technique. Spearfishing belongs to the sport - recreation discipline. This discipline requires considerable mental and physical effort. To achieve such abilities, it is necessary to train constantly. An essential component of the successful implementation of spearfishing is the correct selection of equipment that is chosen in accordance with the hunter's experience, physical predispositions and hunting technique. The following techniques are practiced: underwater hole hunting, spearfishing in ambush, underwater sinking hunt, spearfishing stalking hunt and combined techniques. Underwater hole hunting is a technique of detailed inspection of a potential fish refuge. Spearfishing in ambush requires calmness while waiting for curious fish to approach. Underwater sinking hunt, as one of the oldest techniques, presents the dive towards prey spotted from the surface. Spearfishing stalking hunt means sneaking along the seabed and catching prey with the element of surprise. Increasingly, hunters use a combination of the mentioned techniques

    International accountability system for oil pollution of the sea

    Cilj ovog rada je obrazložiti međunarodni sustav odgovornosti za štete zbog onečišćenja mora uljem. Zbog brojnih pomorskih nesreća s velikim štetnim posljedicama po morski okoliš usvojeno je mnogo međunarodnih i nacionalnih propisa. Na prvom mjestu doneseni su preventivni propisi koji smanjuju mogućnost da do onečišćenja dođe. S druge strane, u okviru Međunarodne pomorske organizacije usvojen je poseban sustav za naknadu štete uslijed onečišćenja mora uljem koji se sastoji od dvije međunarodne konvencije: Konvencije o građanskoj odgovornosti za štetu zbog onečišćenja mora uljem i Konvencije o fondu. S te dvije konvencije podjeljena je odgovornost između vlasnika tankera i kompanija koje se bave izvozom ulja. U skladu s tim međunarodnim sustavom Republika Hrvatska donijela je brojne nacionalne propise koje štite hrvatski morski okoliš od onečišćenja te je na taj način uskladila hrvatsko pravo s najvišim standardima sigurnosti plovidbe i zaštite morskog okoliša.The aim of this paper is to explain the international system of liability for damages caused by oil pollution of the sea. Many international and national regulations have been adopted due to numerous maritime accidents with major adverse consequences for the marine environment. In the first place, preventive regulations were adopted that reduce the possibility of pollution. On the other hand, within the framework of the International Maritime Organization, a special system for compensation for damage due to oil pollution of the sea has been adopted, which consists of two international conventions: the Convention on Civil Liability for Oil Pollution Damage and the Fund Convention. With those two conventions, responsibility is divided between tanker owners and oil exporting companies. In accordance with this international system, the Republic of Croatia has adopted numerous national regulations that protect the Croatian marine environment from pollution, thus harmonizing Croatian law with the highest standards of navigation safety and protection of the marine environment

    Classification of Oil and Product Tankers

    Cilj ovog završnog rada je pružiti uvid u klasifikaciju tankera za prijevoz nafte i naftnih prerađevina. Brojni međunarodni propisi i standardi danas reguliraju prijevoz tereta morem, a isti se s tog aspekta najčešće odnose na konstrukciju i dizajn tankera, onečišćenje morskog okoliša od ulja, kemikalija i drugih tvari. Sirova nafta i naftne prerađevine čine oko polovinu svih tereta koji se prevoze morem, pa sukladno tome, postoje i specijalizirani tankeri koji prevoze tu vrstu ulja. Dizajn i konstrukcija tih tankera izravna je posljedica nesreća koje su se dešavale u prošlosti, a budući da je tako, te tankere karakterizira velika i ravna paluba, dvostruki trup, jednostavan sustav cjevovoda, sustav internog plina, raspored tankova i dr. Postoje dvije vrste tankera za prijevoz ulja, a to su tankeri za prijevoz sirove nafte i tankeri za prijevoz naftnih prerađevina. Daljnja klasifikacija ovih vrsta tankera određena je ARFA i fleksibilnom tržišnom ljestvicom, a tankeri su klasificirani prema nosivosti broda. Samo neke od skupina su Panamax, Aframax, VLCC tankeri i dr.The aim of this thesis was to provide an insight into the classification of tankers for carriage of crude oil and oil products. Today, numerous international regulations and standards regulate carriage of cargo by sea, and from this aspect, they most often refer to the construction and design of tankers, pollution of the marine environment from oil, chemicals and other substances. Crude oil and oil products make up about half of all cargo transported by sea, so according to that, there are also specialized tankers that transport this type of oil. The design and construction of these tankers is a direct consequence of the accidents that happened in the past, and since that is the case, these tankers are characterized by their large and flat deck, double hull, simple piping system, internal gas system, tank arrangement, etc. There are two types of oil tankers, namely crude carriers and product carriers. Further classification of these types of tankers is determined by ARFA scale and the flexible market scale, and tankers are classified according to their deadweight tonnage. Just some of the groups are Panamax, Aframax, VLCC tankers and others

    Inspekcijski nadzor stranih brodova u lukama Republike Hrvatske usklađen je s odredbama Pariškog memoranduma. Priključenjem Memorandumu, Republika Hrvatska podigla je inspekcijski nadzor na viši nivo. Hrvatski inspektori povezani su s inspekcijskim službama u ostalim zemljama Europe, a pregledi se vrše na temelju zajedničkih postupaka, zajedničke baze podataka i propisanih obrazaca. Samim tim povećan je i stupanj sigurnosti na moru, stupanj zaštite morskog okoliša te radnih i životnih uvjeta posade. Inspektori imaju uvid u sve dosadašnje preglede i detalje, čime se izbjegavaju ponavljanja, te je i sam inspekcijski nadzor ujedno postao kvalitetniji i učinkovitiji.Inspection of foreign ships in the ports of the Republic of Croatia is in line with the provisions of the Paris Memorandum. The Republic of Croatia has raised inspections to a higher level by joining the Memorandum. Croatian inspectors are linked to inspection services in other European countries, and inspections are carried out based on common procedures, a common database, and prescribed forms. This has increased the level of safety at sea, protection of the marine environment, as well as working and living conditions of the crew. Inspectors have an insight into all previous inspections and details, which avoids duplication, and the inspection is also better and more efficient
