Digitalno doba donijelo je sa sobom velike promjene na brodove, u pomorske luke, u nadzor pomorske plovidbe, ali i u pomorski menadžment i uredsko poslovanje. U budućnosti se očekuje još veća implementacija informacijskih sustava u pomorskom sektoru , te primjena tehnologija kao što su Blockchain, Umjetna nteligencija(AI) i Internet stvari (IoT).Information systems are already largely integrated into all aspects of shipping. The digital age has brought with it great changes to ships, to maritime ports, to the supervision of maritime navigation, but also to maritime management and office operations. In the future, an even greater implementation of information systems in the maritime sector is expected, as well as the application of technologies such as Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT)

    Influence of the Pelješac Bridge on the traffic of southern Dalmatia

    Sam Pelješki most izbjegava carinske i policijske kontrole kroz drugu državu, te povezuje teritorij Republike Hrvatske i Europske unije. Bitno skraćuje udaljenosti prema Dubrovniku i Konavlima tj. samom jugu Hrvatske. Izgradnja Pelješkog mosta znatno povećava turističku atraktivnost otoka Mljeta i Nacionalnog parka, te smanjuje vožnju prema istom. Sam poluotok Pelješac je znatno brže i jednostavnije dostupan turistima uz posjet obiteljskim gospodarstvima i brojnim Vinarijama na području istog. Otok Korčula sa svim svojim atraktivnostima i povijesnom baštinom je na dohvat ruke uz korištenje samo jednog trajekta uz brze brodske linije iz Orebića. Sam otok Lastovo je dostupniji brodskim linijama iz Korčule i Dubrovnika. Sve nabrojene destinacije puno su lakše i dostupnije turistima, gdje će komunikacija kroz Pelješki most biti uvijek dostupna to jest 24 sata na dan, a uvijek je dostupan i prolaz kroz Bosnu i Hercegovinu tj. Neum i njegovo zaleđe.The Pelješki Bridge itself avoids customs and police controls through another country and connects the territory of the Republic of Croatia and the European Union. It significantly shortens the distance to Dubrovnik and Konavle, i.e., the very south of Croatia. The construction of the Pelješko bridge significantly increases the tourist attractiveness of the island of Mljet and the National Park and reduces the drive to them. The Pelješac peninsula itself is much faster and easier for tourists to visit, with visits to family farms and numerous wineries in the same area. The island of Korčula with all its attractiveness and historical heritage, is within reach with the use of only one ferry with fast boat lines from Orebić. The island of Lastovo itself is more accessible by boat lines from Korčula and Dubrovnik. All the listed destinations are much easier and more accessible to tourists, where communication through the Pelješki bridge will always be available, i.e., 24 hours a day, and passage through Bosnia and Herzegovina, i.e., Neum and its hinterland, is always available

    Akvakultura je uzgoj vodenih organizama, uključujući ribe, mekušce, rakove i vodene biljke, a uzgoj podrazumijeva neki oblik intervencije u procesu uzgoja radi povećanja proizvodnje, poput redovitog naseljavanja, hranjenja, zaštite od predatora. Marikultura, odnosno morska akvakultura, odvija se u moru tijekom cijelog ciklusa ili samo tijekom faze rasta. Zbog porasta proizvodnje u akvakulturi veoma su važna rješenja u skladu s prirodom kako bi se postigla održiva bioraznolikost i kako bi se očuvao ekosustav na dobrobit društva i lokalne zajednice koja živi od akvakulture. Važnost rješenja u skladu s prirodom očituje se i u rješavanju pitanja poput ublažavanje klimatskih promjena i klimatskoj prilagodbi, socijalnoj koheziji itd. Da bi se akvakultura odvijala u pravcu održivosti zahtjevi utjecaja na okoliš moraju biti jasno identificirani, izmjereni i minimizirani koliko god je to moguće s obzirom na procjenu utjecaja na okoliš.Aquaculture is the cultivation of aquatic organisms, including fish, molluscs, crustaceans and aquatic plants. Cultivation means some form of intervention in the cultivation process to increase production, e.g. regular settling, feeding, and protection from predators. Mariculture or marine aquaculture takes place in the sea during the whole cycle or only during the growth phase. Due to the increase in aquaculture production, nature-based solutions are very important to achieve sustainable biodiversity and maintain the ecosystem for the benefit of society and the local community that depends on aquaculture. The importance of nature-based solutions is also evident in climate change mitigation and adaptation, social cohesion, etc. Environmental impacts need to be clearly identified, measured and minimised as much as possible to achieve sustainable development of the aquaculture

    Pravo na rad zajamčeno je brojnim međunarodnim aktima, odnosno pravo na rad je koncept prema kojem ljudi imaju ljudsko pravo na rad ili na produktivno zaposlenje i ne bi ih se trebalo sprječavati u tome. Cilj diplomskog rada je objasniti nestandardne oblike rada kroz povijesni razvoj prava na rad kao temeljnog ljudskog prava, analizirati nestandardne oblike rada u kontekstu umjetne inteligencije, analizirati utjecaj umjetne inteligencije i njenu zastupljenost u nestandardnim oblicima rada te u konačnici utjecaj na mentalno zdravlje. Svrha rada je razumjeti kako nesigurnost na tržištu rada i nedostatak beneficija utječu na mentalno zdravlje ljudi te istražiti njihovu povezanost s rizicima poput stresa, anksioznosti i nezadovoljstva, što može značajno utjecati na kvalitetu života. Statistički pokazatelji HZZ-a i Eurostat-a prikazani za razdoblje od 2017. do 2022. godine, pokazali su kako se nestandardni način rada vremenom sve manje i manje prakticira, štoviše izbjegava se. Razlog tome su veliki nedostatci u radnim pravima i izostanak beneficija koje, s druge strane, standardni oblik rada u potpunosti osigurava. Rad u nestandardnom obliku predstavlja veliki rizik i to ne samo u kontekstu neizvjesne financijske budućnosti i neizvjesnog pitanja buduće zaposlenosti, već i za mentalno zdravlje.The right to work is guaranteed by numerous international acts, that is, the right to work is a concept according to which people have a human right to work or to productive employment and should not be prevented from doing so. The aim of the diploma thesis is to explain non-standard forms of work through the historical development of the right to work as a fundamental human right, to analyze non-standard forms of work in the context of artificial intelligence, to analyze the impact of artificial intelligence and its representation in non-standard forms of work, and ultimately the impact on mental health. The purpose of the work is to understand how insecurity in the labor market and lack of benefits affect people's mental health and to investigate their connection with risks such as stress, anxiety and dissatisfaction, which can significantly affect the quality of life. The statistical indicators of the CES and Eurostat, presented for the period from 2017 to 2022, showed that the non-standard way of working is practiced less and less over time, and even avoided. The reason for this is the great deficiencies in labor rights and the absence of benefits that, on the other hand, are fully provided by the standard form of work. Working in a non-standard form represents a great risk, not only in the context of an uncertain financial future and the uncertain issue of future employment, but also for mental health

Funkcije sustava obuhvaćaju planiranje, razvoj, proizvodnju i marketing, a sve su povezane u jedinstvenu aplikaciju i bazu podataka. S obzirom na popularnost i potrebu za aplikacijskim sustavima, na tržištu se pojavljuje mnogo različitih AVE_ERP informacijskih rješenja koja pomažu tvrtkama opstati na zahtjevnom tržištu. Softverska poduzeća lansiraju ova rješenja kako bi podržala organizacije u njihovom poslovanju i omogućila im konkurentnost.The implementation of AVE_ERP system enables more organized management of the entire company and its departments, increases the availability of information, and brings numerous benefits such as higher profitability and cost reduction. The system utilizes the communication and information capabilities of modern computer systems to enable strategic planning of all resources in the business system. The functions of the system encompass planning, development, production, and marketing, all interconnected in a unified application and database. Given the popularity and demand for application systems, the market offers a variety of AVE_ERP information solutions that help companies survive in a demanding market. Software companies launch these solutions to support organizations in their business operations and enable competitiveness

    Cilj ovog rada bio je pružiti uvid u standarde u ribarstvu i akvakulturi. Sektor ribarstva i akvakulture predstavlja ključnu komponentu globalne opskrbe hranom i gospodarskog razvoja u suštini. Rapidni razvoj tog sektora pokrenuo je mnoge rasprave zbog prekomjernog ribolova, degradacije staništa, održivosti i socijalne jednakosti. Definiranjem međunarodno priznatih standarda rješavaju se naznačeni problemi promičući održive prakse izlova, tehnike odgovornog uzgoja i osiguranje pravednih uvjeta rada. Prema tome, standardi u ribarstvu i akvakulturi osiguravaju provođenje aktivnosti ribolova i akvakulture na načine koji sprječavaju prekomjerno iskorištavanje, minimiziraju utjecaji na okoliš, potiču društvenu odgovornost, zdrave radne uvjete i dr. Standardi su definirani od strane međuvladinih organizacija poput FAO engl. Food and Agriculture Organization) i ASC (engl. Aquaculture Stewardship Council) te raznih nacionalnih agencija, udruga i privatnih organizacija. Osim što je poštivanje standarda vitalno za očuvanje morskog ekosustava i bioraznolikosti, ključno je i kod uspostavljanja integriteta i otpornosti cijelog sektora.The aim of this thesis was to give an insight into the standards in fisheries and aquaculture. The fisheries and aquaculture sector is essentially a key component of global food supply and economic development. The rapid development of the sector has triggered many debates on overfishing, habitat destruction, sustainability and social equity. Setting effective, internationally recognised standards will address these and similar issues by promoting sustainable fishing practises and responsible farming techniques and ensuring fair working conditions. Accordingly, standards in fisheries and aquaculture ensure that fishing and aquaculture are conducted in a manner that prevents overfishing, minimises environmental impacts, promotes social responsibility and healthy working conditions, etc. The standards are set by intergovernmental organisations such as the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC), as well as by various national authorities, associations and private organisations. Apart from being crucial for the conservation of the marine ecosystem and biodiversity, compliance with the standards is also crucial for the integrity and resilience of the entire sector

    U ovom radu se govori o gorućem i suvremenom problemu diskriminacije na tržištu rada. S rastućim globalnim interesom za ovu temu, ključno je ispitati povijesni kontekst diskriminacije, posebice unutar tržišta rada, te napraviti usporedbe između prošlih i sadašnjih praksi. Tržište rada odraz je cjelokupnog ekonomskog sustava i društvenih uvjeta, zbog čega je neophodno težiti okruženju bez diskriminacije kako bi se osigurala stabilnost i učinkovitost. Svrha ovoga rada jest istražiti različite oblike diskriminacije, naglašavajući socioekonomsku važnost problema. Glavni cilj ovoga istraživanja jest promicanje prepoznavanja diskriminacije i zagovaranje strateških mjera za njezino smanjenje i konačno iskorjenjivanje na tržištu rada.This paper discusses the burning and contemporary problem of discrimination in the labor market. With the growing global interest in this topic, it is crucial to examine the historical context of discrimination, particularly within the labor market, and to make comparisons between past and present practices. The labor market serves as a reflection of the entire economic system and social conditions, which is why it is necessary to strive for an environment without discrimination in order to ensure stability and efficiency. The purpose of this paper is to investigate different forms of discrimination at all economic levels, emphasizing the socioeconomic significance of the problem. The main goal of this research is to promote the recognition of discrimination and advocate strategic measures for its reduction and eventual eradication from the labor market

    Sustavi koji služe da bi omogućili normalan i kontinuiran rad brodskog postrojenja nazivamo brodski strojni sustavi. Sustav rashladne vode na brodu je jedan od najvažnijih brodskih strojnih sustava. Danas postoje dvije glavne vrste rashladnih sustava koji se nalaze na brodovima: izravno hlađenje morskom vodom i središnje hlađenje slatkom vodom. U izravnom sustavu hlađenja morskom vodom, morska voda se dovodi izravno u svaki pojedinačni izmjenjivač topline u sustavu. U središnjem rashladnom sustavu, morska voda se koristi zajedno sa slatkom vodom za izvlačenje viška ili neiskorištene topline iz vrućih tekućina. Izravni sustavi hlađenja morskom vodom daju brodu vrlo jednostavan sustav. Instalacija ovakvog sustava je jednostavna i jeftina jer nema toliko dijelova i pumpi koliko ima centralni rashladni sustav. Srce rashladnog sustava svakog broda su crpke za hlađenje broda. Osnovne komponente sustava rashladne vode na brodu uključuju pumpe, cjevovode, razne ventile, te izmjenjivače topline ili rashladnike.The systems that serve to enable the normal and continuous operation of the ship's plant are called ship's mechanical systems. The ship's cooling water system is one of the ship's most important mechanical systems. There are two main types of cooling systems found on ships today: direct seawater cooling and central freshwater cooling. In a direct seawater cooling system, seawater is fed directly to each individual heat exchanger in the system. In a central cooling system, seawater is used together with fresh water to extract excess or unused heat from hot liquids. Direct seawater cooling systems give the ship a very simple system. The installation of such a system is simple and cheap because there are not as many parts and pumps as there are in a central cooling system. The heart of every ship's cooling system is the ship's cooling pumps. The basic components of a ship's cooling water system include pumps, piping, various valves, and heat exchangers or chillers

    Kontejner je prenosivi spremnik normiranih izmjera koji služi za ukrcaj, iskrcaj, prijevoz i skladištenje raznih vrste tereta na putu od proizvođača do odredišta. U pomorskom prijevozu, kontejner je tehničko sredstvo koje povezuje teret i brod u lanac u kojem kontejner preuzima funkciju teretnog prostora u brodu. Terminali su funkcionalna lučka postrojenja za ukrcaj i iskrcaj tereta, oni su ujedno i mjesta križanja dviju ili više prometnih grana radi prihvata, dovoza, odvoza i prodaje tereta. Kontejnerski terminal je objekt na kojem se kontejneri pretovaruju između različitih transportnih sredstava s ciljem daljnjeg transporta prema konačnom odredištu. Važna karika pri manipulaciji teretom na kontejnerskim terminalima je lučka prekrcajna mehanizacija koja se, samim procesom kontejnerizacije, razvila i modernizirala. Kako bi se ubrzao proces pretovara tereta u lukama, a postigla efikasnost i ekonomičnost pristupilo se automatizaciji kontejnerskih terminala. Automatizirani kontejnerski terminali su opremljeni automatskim vođenim vozilima, automatskim upravljivim dizalicama te modernim sustavima automatizacije kontejnerskih terminala. Primjer kontejnerskog terminala opisan je prema kontejnerskom terminalu luke Koper.Container is a box with standardized measurements that is used for import, export, transport and storage of various cargoes from manufacturer to final destination. In maritime transportation, shipping container is an object which connects cargo and vessel into one unit in which container gets cargo space function. Terminals are harbour facilities for handling cargo, also they are waypoints between two or more traffic branches for collecting, import, export and distribution of cargo. Container terminal is an object where containers are handled between different transport vehicles with target that cargo reaches final destination. Important thing in cargo handling at container terminals is ship port facility gear which is set to be developed and modernized by the process of containerization. In order to speed up cargo handling and achieve efficiency and economy, automatization of container terminals is ready to be approached. Automated container terminal is equipped with automated guide vehicles, automated stacking cranes and modern systems of automated container terminal.     Catamarans

    Završni rad bavi se definicijom katamarana, njegovom povješću i razvojem do danas. Katamarani su vrsta plovila koja se sastoji od dvaju trupa povezanih mostom, a koriste se u raznim sektorima, uključujući pomorsko putničko brodarstvo. U Hrvatskoj, katamarani su sve češće prisutni u floti pomorskih prijevoznika, posebice u obalnom prijevozu putnika i turista. Katamarani su se razvijali kroz povijest, a prvi primjerci datiraju još iz polinezijske tradicije. Danas se katamarani koriste u svim dijelovima svijeta i igraju važnu ulogu u globalnoj pomorskoj industriji. Glavna karakteristika katamarana je dvotrupna konstrukcija, koja im omogućuje veću brzinu i ekonomičnost u odnosu na tradicionalne jednotrupce. Međutim, da bi se postigla maksimalna učinkovitost, bitni elementi su otpor, stabilnost i oplakana površina. Otpor se javlja kada se plovilo kreće kroz vodu, a može biti trupni, pogonski i površinski. Stabilitet je važan čimbenik u konstrukciji i upravljanju katamaranima, a može se povećati smanjenjem visine težišta ili širenjem trupa. Kod prijevoza putnika, stabilnost je posebno važna kako bi se osigurala udobnost putnika i minimizirale rizike od prevrtanja plovila.The final paper deals with the definition of the catamaran, its history and development until today. Catamarans are a type of vessel consisting of two hulls connected by a bridge, and are used in various sectors, including marine passenger shipping. In Croatia, catamarans are increasingly present in the fleet of maritime carriers, especially in the coastal transport of passengers and tourists. Catamarans have developed throughout history, and the first examples date back to the Polynesian tradition. Today, catamarans are used in all parts of the world and play an important role in the global maritime industry. The main characteristic of catamarans is their double-hull construction, which enables them to be faster and more economical than traditional monohulls. However, to achieve maximum efficiency, factors such as resistance, stability and coated surface must be considered. Resistance occurs when the vessel moves through the water, and it can be hull, propulsion and surface resistance. Stability is an important factor in the construction and handling of catamarans, and can be increased by lowering the height of the center of gravity or widening the hull. When carrying passengers, stability is particularly important to ensure passenger comfort and minimize the risks of overturning the vessel
